Abstract

Tujuan utama dari mengajar bahasa Inggris di IAIM NU Metro Lampung adalah untuk mengembangkan kemampuan bahasa Inggris siswa agar mereka dapat mengerti dan memahami materi bahasa Inggris dan mereka dapat berbicara bahasa Inggris dengan menggunakan kata-kata sederhana. Bahasa inggris telah diajarkan dalam lembaga sebagai bahasa asing. Bahasa Inggris diajarkan untuk memberikan siswa dengan kesempatan yang lebih besar untuk belajar bahasa Inggris, sehingga mereka dapat mengembangkan keterampilan bahasa Inggris mereka. Namun, pengajaran bahasa Inggris di departemen perbankan syariah memiliki sejumlah masalah yang perlu diperhitungkan. Masalah utama adalah bahwa bahan pelajaran Bahasa Inggris yang tepat tidak tersedia. Bahan yang digunakan pada saat ini tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik siswa. Masalah lain yang saat ini muncul adalah: motivasi & minat siswa dalam belajar bahasa Inggris masih rendah sehingga pencapaian siswa dalam bahasa Inggris tidak memuaskan dan siswa tidak menyadari dengan manfaat belajar bahasa Inggris. Dalam hal ini, siswa perlu bahan yang sesuai dengan bidang mereka. Jadi, mereka bisa menarik minat dan motivasi ketika mereka belajar bahasa Inggris. Prosedur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini melakukan analisis kebutuhan, mengembangkan bahan Bahasa Inggris, melakukan validasi ahli, revisi materi, mencoba bahan, dan merevisi bahan. Untuk melakukan analisis kebutuhan, kuesioner didistribusikan kepada siswa dan guru diwawancarai. Untuk melakukan validasi ahli, kuesioner diberikan untuk membaca pakar dan ahli konten. Kuesioner juga diberikan kepada siswa dan guru diwawancarai untuk melakukan try-out. Data dari hasil analisis kebutuhan menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa setuju untuk mengembangkan bahan bahasa Inggris yang cocok dan terkait dengan kehidupan mereka, ada yang mendengarkan, membaca diikuti dengan kosa kata, menulis, dan berbicara. Data dari validasi ahli menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa poin yang baik dan lemah dari bahan dikembangkan sehingga orang-orang yang lemah perlu direvisi. Dari try out dari bahan dikembangkan data menunjukkan penerapan materi yang dikembangkan dalam memotivasi siswa untuk belajar bahasa Inggris. Hal ini tercermin dalam data yang dikumpulkan dari kuesioner dan hasil mencoba out. Data yang dikumpulkan dari pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa siswa terlibat aktif dalam proses belajar dan mengajar selama mencoba. Salah satu alasan adalah bahwa topik yang dibahas adalah menarik dan terkait dengan kehidupan mereka. Selain itu, tugas-tugas harus dilakukan siswa dapat mengaktifkan pengetahuan mereka tentang topik dan keterampilan bahasa. Berdasarkan hasil try out, beberapa revisi yang dibuat agar bahan menjadi lebih baik dan mereka akhirnya bisa sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik siswa.   Kata kunci: buku teks bahasa Inggris, pengembangan materi

Abstract

  Islamic Religious Education Curriculum Development at Madrasah (Study On Thought Muhaimin).The question of how the fate of a country in the future, largely determined by the quality of future generations. The quality of the next generation is strongly influenced by how much the nations attention to the quality of education. Meanwhile, one of many elements in education, curriculum plays an important role in determining the success or failure of a country achieve education goals. Muhaimin thinking about an alternative concept of curriculum development in Madrasah interesting to examine, in developing undertakings of Islamic education as a national educational subsystem. This research is a library research (library research), using a philosophical approach and analyzed using content analysis (content analysis). Muhaimin idea about the Madrasah curriculum development using a variety of approaches namely; approaches the subject of academic, humanistic approach, the technological approach, and the approach of social rekosntruksi. The concept of curriculum development Muhaimin, has advantages trsendiri by combining a variety of intelligence, including IQ (intelligent quotient), EQ (emotional quotient), CQ (creativity quotient) and SQ (spiritual quotient).   Keywords: Muhaimin, Curriculum Development, Madrasah.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan Semantic Mapping pada pemahaman membaca siswa di kelas XI SMA TMI Roudlatul Qur’an Metro, in the Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015 . Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Experiment Murni. Data yang diambil berasal dari nilai pemahaman membaca. Tes yang digunakan adalah tes pilihan ganda denga empat opsi jawaban (A.B, C, D) Penelitan ini menggunakan kelas pretest dan postest baik dalam kelas kontrol maupun kelas eksperimen.materi yang diteskan berupa materi pemahaman membaca.hasil akhir menyatakan bahwa Semantic Mapping adalah salah satu metode yang effektif untuk menambah pemahaman membaca siswa dengan melihat hasil pretest pada kelas eksperimen 58,83 dengan rata rata postest 77. Sedangkan pada kelas kontrol hasil pretest 61,36 dan hasil postes nya 69,84.standar KKM yang dicapai pada kelas eksperimen(93,3%) dan pada kelas kontrol (66,7%). Artinya hasil yang dicapai pada ekperimen kelas lebih tinggi daripada hasil dari kelas kontrol. Semantic Mapping tekhnik bisa menjadi alternative pilihan dari pembelajaran Pemahaman Membaca. Khususnya bagi siswa kelas XI SMA TMI Roudlatul Qur’an Metro. Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015.   . Keywords: Reading, Semantic Mapping.

Abstract

This research is used to determine the extent of the application of cooperative learning peer tutor in class VI Elementary School 2 Metro West, on the activities and student learning outcomes. Indicators used in the research activity determine the success of student learning is to look at the observation sheet of research about student learning activities undertaken in class. The success of the research activities of students in the use of cooperative methods of peer tutoring is if at least 80% of its students have acquired or have a high learning activities in accordance with the calculations on the observation sheet that has been created by researchers in this study. After the recapitulation sheet researcher and teacher observation of a partner or team teaching results obtained by 10 students or 27.78% of the students have a low learning activities, as many as seven students or 19.44% of its students have learning activities that are, 15 students or approximately 41.67% of its students have high learning activities and 7 students or 19.44% students have a very high learning activities, and 8 students or 22.22% of its students have learned a very low activity. So it can be concluded that the use of peer tutors learning model can improve learning activities optimally at six graders Negeri 2 Metro West   Keywords: Understanding the concept of reading, learning model, Peer Tutor

Abstract

Skills, abilities and professionalism of teachers are highly demanded at this time, therefore, a teacher must be able to choose and use the tools or methods appropriate teaching so that learning materials can be presented in accordance with the expected goals. The formulation of this thesis is whether the problem by using a field method can enhance the creativity of students learning Indonesian subjects the subject of free essay writing class III SDN 2 Metro West Metro Academic Year 2010/2011. Improving student learning creativity of a teacher should be able to know and be able to find strategies or methods that are thought to increase the creativity of student learning. As one of the methods that can be used for learning is a field method, since the use of this method is fun and can eliminate boredom. The goal of this research is the third grade students of SDN 2 Metro West Metro City. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the learning process using PMRI approach as a solution to build the capacity estimation at the elementary school, this research is to find out the obstacles of the implementation of PMRI approach in the classroom and to know the results of the application of PMRI approach with regard to the ability of elementary students estimate. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. The type of research is a class action (PTK). The subjects were students of class V SD N I Sokomoyo with 28 students. Learning core activities include: delivery relistik issues relating to the problems of estimation, group discussions, presentations and conclusions. The results showed that the application of PMRI can foster activeness, courage in presenting their opinions and be able to grow and improve estimates of elementary school students. As for the obstacles that arise in the application of PMRI in class include: a) Students tend to be rowdy in class the more so when the division of the group, and b) Students are afraid to present the results of group discussion in class   Keywords: PMRI, estimation, realistic

Abstract

This research was aimed at finding out the description of using role playing methode to increase the students’ result and activity in Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan lesson at the IV grader of MIN I METRO PUSAT in the academic year of 2012/2013. This research was an action class research design. The population of this research was the IV grader of MIN I METRO PUSAT in the academic year of 2012/2013.which consist of 23 students’ that are devided onto 16 male students and 7 female students. The students activity average at siklus I is 72,24% and at siklus II is 83,09%. While the students learning result in siklus I is 69,91 with the succesful precentage is 56,5% and at siklus II is 74,34 with the succesful precentage 86,9%. Based on the result of the study, the researcher state that the use of Role Playing methode is recomended for teaching Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan lesson to increase the students’ result and activity in the class. So this lesson can be an interested lesson for the students.   Key Word: Role Playing, Activity and Learning Result, Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan.

Abstract

Analysis of Mixed Code (Mixing code) and Transfer Code (Code Switching) in Arabic Conversation (Studies in Student of Arabic Education department IAIM NU Metro Lampung). Lecturer Research of Institute of Islamic Studies  Ma’arif  NU Metro Lampung in 2016. One of the fundamental problems underlying the authors take on this study, because students majoring in Arabic education is a subject which is still new in IAIM in mid April 2016 the first alumni of Arabic education department IAIM had been graduated, IAIM recently graduated 12 students, so the language skills of students are still very limited, besides  that the educational background of the student previously also varied so that the level of language skills of the students  vary, so it is sometimes difficult to implementt Arabic actively both oral and written. Therefore, the application of the Arabic language in IAIM is very important, so that students are able to use the Arabic language correctly and well to create  language environment (Biah Lughowiyah), by formulating the two issues; First, What is the form of code switching and code-mixing that occurs in the process of group discussion among PBA student  in IAIM. Second; Are the factors that cause the occurrence of code switching and code-mixing in the process of group discussion on student PBA. The discussion in this study is qualitative. Data collection methods used in this study is "Listen method" refer to the method used in the provision of data by sounding off the usage of language. In the social sciences this method can be compared with the method of observation. Then proceed to consider the techniques involved free conversation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the "Analysis of Mixed Code (Mixing code) and Transfer Code (Code Switching) in Arabic Conversation (the study in Arabic education department at IAIM NU Metro Lampung). The data  found associated with symptoms of code  switching that occur among students IAIM is divided into three formations, namely: (1) control codes in Arabic to Indonesia, (2) transfer code on Indonesian to Arabic, (3) over code in Arabic to the regional (local). By its nature, the symptoms of code can be classified into two categories namely; over the internal code and external code switching. (1) Transfer of internal code is the code switching that occurs between the regional languages ​​in the national language, such as Javanese and Madurese. (2) Transfer of external code is the code switching that occurs between the original language with a foreign language, for example Indonesian with English. The factors behind the occurrence of code switching and code-mixing  among  students, namely; (1) the inability of students to understand the Arabic language, (2) To demonstrate academic ability, (3) As a slang/style, (4) Speakers (students) want to attract interlocutor, (5) Lack of mastery of vocabulary Arabic owned student.   Keywords: Mixed Code (Mixing code), Transfer Code (Code Switching), Arabic conversation

Abstract

This research is a development research aimed at generating media-based mathematics instruction materials RME on Quadratic Functions of high school students / MA and know the quality of the mathematics learning CD based media expert assessment, subject matter experts and learning and 30 students of class X. The development model used is a model of procedural development, is a model which is descriptive, outlining the steps that must be followed to produce the product. This development was initiated by means of analysis Content Standard continued with a reference collection of media then drafting media, and create a learning CD. CD mathematics that have been made to the experts assessed and learning materials, media experts, and students small classes and large classes. Learning CD contains material Quadratic Functions in class X which consists of seven sections, namely: Quadratic Functions, Various Graph Quadratic Functions, Quadratic discriminant function, Quadratic Functions Develop, Designing Mathematical Model, Exercises and Simulation. This research has successfully developed a mathematics learning CDs that have quality Very Good (SB) according to expert assessment and learning materials, media experts, and 30 students of class X with a score of 168.64 out of a maximum score of 185, while the percentage of keidealannya 91.16%, so fit for use as a medium of learning.   Keywords: Learning Media, RME, Quadratic Functions

Abstract

Obstacles in the process of learning science in the fourth grade of SD Negeri 2 Metro West is caused because the learning activities have only centered on teachers to be dominated by the tendency of a lecture and assignments, so that students are not actively involved. The problem of this thesis is "What is the use of inquiry method can improve student motivation and learning outcomes science subjects fourth grade 2 Metro West State School Year 2010/2011?" The purpose of this is to determine empirically increased motivation to follow the teaching and learning process and student learning outcomes in science subjects fourth grade 2 Metro West State School Year 2010/2011. This research is a classroom action research in which there are two cycles. Collecting data in this social inquiry learning strategy is test result of learning, observation and documentation sheet. Achievement test used to determine the increase motivation to follow the students learning process. Documentation sheets used to collect data such as the history of the study site and others. From the results of this study showed an increased motivation and learning outcomes of students of fourth grade science subjects S 2 Metro West State School Year 2010/2011, it can be seen from the average increase student motivation and learning outcomes of the first cycle of 18.38% and in cycle II to be 21.24%. In this case means an increase learning outcomes of the first cycle and the second cycle by 2.86% increased student learning outcomes is evidence that the inquiry method can increase student motivation and learning outcomes of fourth grade science subjects S 2 Metro West State School Year 2010/2011.   Keywords: Activities and outcomes of learning, inquiry
