Abstract

Songket is a work of art which is a traditional fabric that is widely used in a variety of custom events in South Sumatera. Songket is made from a special yarn woven by using traditional weaving equipment. To generate a songket takes  at least three months. This is causing a songket   produced have the expensive  price. In the community of South Sumatra songket is a must in custom events, among others, marriage ceremony, welcome the birth and Circumcision. Songket have various motives that have a specific name with the distinctive characteristics that differentiate between a songket with another. This research aims to design the application e-museum which can be a promotion media so the songket can widely know. The method used in building e museum Applications is ordinary Waterfall SDLC Models or linear sequential model. The result of the design can be implemented into the android-based applications.

Abstract

Lack of information about the posision of a place and find the best route to get to a destination is complicated, especially looking for a route in finding a parking space. Unavailability of applications that provide information and navigate parking users to find the best route in realtime is a problem that must be answered. Dijkstras algorithm is one method of solving problems in finding the best route. The Dijkstra algorithm has compared the possible routes to be traversed and calculated every possible distance. The route with the shortest distance would be the best choice This application was built using an Android-based Geographic Information System that utilizes the Google Maps feature as a parking user interface service. This study uses the Java programming language with Android Studio as an IDE (Integrated Development Environment) and the prototyping model is used in developing problem solving and using UML (Unified Modeling Language) as a system design tool. The results that have been achieved from this research is that Dijkstras algorithm can answer the problem faced by providing the best route navigation from the users location to the parking lot at the destination

Abstract

Learning with the E-learning method is learning by using technology because online e-learning uses computer networks to provide information and communication. Where with the use of e-learning can occur changes in learning activities between teachers and students and students can learn wherever and whenever. SUMSEL N HIGH SCHOOL (Sampoerna Academy) Palembang has a vision that is international level and has the hope to become an example for other national schools by implementing international standards and has a mission to make students global in mind. In the SUMSEL High School in the learning process still using conventional learning methods through face-to-face in class, the provision of subject matter is carried out only in class and also if the teacher is not entered, the subject material is not obtained by students. So that this research was carried out by utilizing information and communication technology in changing learning activities namely the use of school-based elearning. While this research is research & development research refers to the development model Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluation (ADDIE). School-based Elearning has features similar to Facebook and schoology also combines social networks and LMS (Learning Management System). So that with schoology-based e-learning can get information about the subject matter that is given by the teacher easily even though the teacher is unable to attend the class because through schoology the teacher can attend student attendance, and between the teacher and students can interact socially while learning.

Abstract

Utilization of information technology on this day has become an unavoidable need. Utilization of website as a promotion event of an institution or organisation still not optimal because not follow usability aspect/usability. The interface of the university website should be a reflection of the university itself. Evaluation of the interface of the university website should be done to find out how high the usability level of university website development. Using usability testing method is expected to be able to measure the usability level of the university website to maximise the promotion of Higher Education in cyberspace. Methods to measure using quantitative methods by spreading questionnaires to the respondents. Research indicators use usability indicators that include Learnability, Memorability, Efficiency, Errors, and Satisfaction. The questionnaire tested its validity and reliability before use. Questionnaires are distributed freely to internal and external residents of Higher Education. 95 Respondents filled out questionnaires that had been scattered. Assessment method using a Likert scale with four levels, namely: Strongly Agree; Agree; Disagree; Strongly Disagree. The results of this study concluded that the university website has a final value of 2.77 where this value is still in the excellent category. The lowest value of the five aspects of usability is in the Errors aspect of obtaining a value of 2.65.

Abstract

The Special Criminal Investigation Directorate is the executing element of the main task under the Regional Police Chief, led by Dir Reskrimsus with the rank of Chief of the Police Commissioner (Kombes Pol) / Echelon II-B, tasked with conducting investigations and investigating special crimes, coordinate, supervise, and administer PPNS investigations in accordance with statutory regulations. So far, the Directorate of Criminal Investigation of the Central Java Regional Police, especially the Cyber Crime Unit, in its service still uses manual methods. This was felt to be inefficient because of the large number of complaints coming in and the lack of police personnel who handled complaints from reporters so that servants to the community were judged to be less than optimal and needed a long time in a complaint report. This study uses the Extreme Programming method in designing the developed system. Based on the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that Extreme Programming is one method that supports the acceleration of the development of a small to medium scale system and can improve the quality of the system. Unfortunately, Extreme Programming does not have formal documentation so there is no measuring instrument that shows that the system has been completed.

Abstract

In designing an academic information system in the wider scope, the first thing to be built is an information system that can process master data. Examples of such master data is student data, course data, and lecturer data. This student data becomes very important because student data will become a reference or data source for other information system incorporated in an academic information system as a whole which is found in Islamic University As-syafiiyah. To build an academic information system that capable of processing master data student required an adequate framework. Codeigniter is a very popular framework as it is very light and has very complete documentation making it easy to use. Codeigniter also uses the MVC approach (Model, View, Controller) in the concept of application development so it will be easier if the development of this information system is growing or transferable in the development process. Based on the above, it is necessary to develop an academic information system with master data subsystem of students at Islamic University As-syafiiyah which can manage all student data with Codeigniter framework.

Abstract

Diabetes or Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a disease in which the glucose content in the blood can not be processed by the body. Based on the case of many diabetic patients, first action is needed as a solution of the problem of diabetes by predicting to detect early diabetes. This is necessary because often medical decisions are made based on experience and rational reasoning. Prediction of diabetes can be done by using some data of diabetic patients who have been stored in the database to make a pattern for the determination of diabetes with Artificial Intelligen technique so that the result of inaccurate diagnosis can be avoided. In this study the authors apply Genetic Algorithm (GA) to optimize Neural Network (NN) model by searching the best parameter value on Neural Network (NN) model. The experimental results showed a decrease in RMSE value which means an increase in predicted accuracy value, ie from 0.402 +/- 0,035 to 0.396 +/- 0,032.The optimization of the NN model prediction, the relevant policy makers can determine the prediction of diabetes more accurately.

Abstract

Inventory control can be said to increase the speed of work to achieve the level of energy efficiency and time in data management. Sales that have the transaction data still handwritten resulted in long enough time in recording the data, as well as the absence of determination of inventory and determining when the ordering of goods returned. Point of Sale Study with Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and Reorder Point (RoP) Method will be used to overcome the problem, management of transaction data in which there are methods of calculating order quantity and reorder time can minimize operational cost and optimize inventory. The EOQ method is used as a stock inventory controller and the RoP method is used for warning notification to avoid negligence. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that Point of Sale Application with Economic Order Quantity and Reorder Point Method 90% accepted and able to overcome the problems that exist in Faranita Foam Store.

Abstract

The guide letter has an important role in the administration of population administration at the village level. The letter of introduction is a proof of recognition from the Chairman of RT, RW and Village Office Chairman against the residents domiciled in the area. The management of guide letter and residents domicile data in Bandasari Village has not been well managed. The data of introductory letters and immigrants are still managed and stored in each Chariman RT. In this research, developed Information System of Guidance Letter Handling Village Management Bandasari aims to manage data introduction letter and data of immigrants in the village Bandasari. System development using System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method with waterfall process model and blackbox testing method. Based on the tests conducted, it is known that the system will be developed to assist fast the People, Chairman of RT, RW and Village chief in managing the data of guidace letters and migrant residents data, because data saved in one database and can be access by user.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a mobile-based application, Smart Malnutrition Detection, which can help early detection independently of the nutritional status of each individual and provide recommendations for daily nutritional intake. The system was developed by adopting a prototyping system development model. The system can determine the nutritional status of individuals based on the threshold value of BMI. The system can also calculate individual daily calorie needs based on BMI, EMB and daily physical activity values. The final output of this system is in the form of recommendations for daily nutritional intake in grams. The functional testing results show that all features contained in the Smart Malnutrition Detection application can run well and no errors are found. Validity testing results show that the output of the system is in accordance with the rules set by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. Starting from calculating the BMI value, the value of daily calorie needs to the size of the menu consumption in grams. So that it can be concluded that this application is very useful to support early detection of individual malnutrition conditions. The system is also able to provide recommendations for daily nutritional intake so that it can help improve diet and healthy lifestyle.
