Abstract

Water and soil quality is very important in agriculture. The level of acidity (pH) and soil temperature is one of the things that affect the fertility of plants. Therefore the quality of water and soil on agricultural land is one of the important things that need special attention in its management. One solution to water and soil quality can be monitored and managed efficiently is by utilizing the Wireless Sensor Network based on the Internet of Things (IoT). Use of ESP8266 Module as a WIFI module, widely used by Internet-based applications of Things because the price is cheap, thus reducing many costs and have a pretty good speed of 80 MHz. This research aims to develop the concept of Wireless Sensor Network by utilizing ESP8266 module to monitor pH value using pH Meter Analog Kit sensor and temperature of agricultural land using DS18B20 Waterproof sensor. The result of temperature measurement accuracy using DS18B20 Waterproof sensor of the designed system is 99.09% while the pH measurement using pH Meter Analog Kit sensor is 91.33%.

Abstract

Car rental is a growing business that runs rapidly. Competition of travel business is getting strict and business development is getting rapidly. They can boost companies to improve quality and service to their consumers. The problem which always happens in processing travel business, i.e., manual data processing using book. It can give risk for losing data and duplication process, and also the data that does not automatically recapped until the report of income and other information are not up to date. It is needed that there is a system for supporting process of travel operational management. The method that used in the research was a method of software development, i.e., waterfall. The findings of the research is the system that can facilitate the process of travel operational management until it can make the available process more effective, improve the service to consumers, facilitate to search for data that relevant to vehicle travel data.

Abstract

Basically the computer functions are generally used as a medium for storing data and in it there are many application programs that can simplify and support a human work. In the warehouse of PT Seyon Indonesia for the process of inventory data management (raw and supporting), reports and data storage is still done manually. The existence of data recording errors and data inaccuracies are very likely to occur in this regard. To help facilitate the management of inventory data (raw and supporting) in the section, the design of the program is the best solution to solve the problems that exist, namely in terms of data processing more accurate because the availability of input form data available and storage media centered in a single database that will make data management of incoming and outgoing goods more effective and efficient. The design of the inventory program (raw and supporting) is made with a simple and interactive appearance but can process data well, so users can easily use it.

Abstract

Stemming algorithm Nazief & Andriani has been development in terms of the speed and the accuracy. One of its development is Non-formal Affix Algorithm. Non-formal Affix Algorithm improves the accuracy for non-formal affixed word. In its growth, Indonesian language is used in two ways: formal and non-formal. Non-formal language is commonly used in casual situations such as conversations and social media post (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.). To get the root of the word of a casual conversation or a social media post, stemming algorithm which can process the non-formal words with affixes already proposed. But, the previous algorithm unable to stem a non-formal word that slightly change the root word. Therefore, this study modifies Non-formal Affix Algorithm to increase stemming accuracy on non-formal word. Modifications are made by adding Levenshtein Distance. The result of the research shows that the algorithm made in this research has 96.6% accuracy while the Non-formal Affix algorithm has 73.3% accuracy in processing 60 non-formal affixed words. Based on the result, Levenshtein Distance approach can increase the accuracy on stemming non-formal affixed word.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with high rate of natural disaster, so any information about early warning of natural disaster are very important. Social media such as Twitter become one of tools for spreading information about natural disaster warning from account of  Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), therefore, the effectiveness of this kind of method for providing information have not known yet. The statement becomes the reason that the visualization is needed to analyze the information spread of natural disaster early warning with Twitter. This study is performed in 3 steps, which is retrieving, preprocessing then visualization. Retrieving process is used to get the tweet data of BMKG account in twitter then save into database, while preprocessing is done to process tweet data that has been saved in database by grouping the data according to the category, which includes Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics according to existing keyword, also reduce tweet data that is unimportant like BMKGs reply tweet toward other users question. Visualization stage uses the result of preprocessing data into line chart graphic, bar chart and pie chart. Highest information spreading from BMKG tweet happened in Geophysics at March with 25987 re-tweets, while the highest peak happened at 2 March 2016 with information about 8.3 SR earthquake in Mentawai islands, West Sumatera with total of 6145 re-tweets.

Abstract

Mobile devices are now almost used by all walks of life. Various platforms available on smartphones like Android, iOS, Windows Mobile provide great opportunities and become a challenge for app developers. The problem is that app developers need to be able to match the needs of the available platform. The solution to this problem is the mobile hybrid application technology, which enables application developers to bridge every different smartphone platform using the cordova framework. The Cordova framework allows application developers to build mobile applications using HTML5, CSS, and javascript (JS). In this research more focused on testing the technology of mobile hybrid application to build mobile application of disaster reporting at Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) South Sumatera. Test results in the form of android and windows phone applications through several tests, among others, ease in the process of building applications, publishing, and configuration. It is expected that this hybrid mobile application software can help disaster management agencies in southern Sumatra region in disaster preparedness in the community.

Abstract

Information of article which had attractive contains as Trending Topics, although this is article hoax or not. The frequency of articles content which created by online media, it can be monitored by Google Analytics. One of the reasons for using Google Analytics is to understand the content of a site which leads to the change and behavior of behind the content. Google Analytics can be regarded as web analytics software with ease of installation. Classification of Google Analytics data with C-Fuzzy Decision Tree (C-FDT), aims to get the attraction of article content, which means having special attention from visitors and the article can be interesting or not, and observed whether C-FDT can recognize patterns from metric data Google Analytics. The purpose of this study is the results of FDT are expected to facilitate online media managers to analyze the content of articles and evaluate content groups tend to potentially gain traffic for getting promotional or marketing advertising as revenue from online media sites. The results obtained are C-FDT can recognize the pattern of Google Analytics metrics thus as facilitating the search of the article content into a simple form that is the reduction of attributes by grouping data with the same object and the data had Pruning. Online media managers can focus on certain attributes that have a big effect on Content Articles. However C-FDT is having trouble dealing with data sync due to system errors when retrieving data from Google Analytics. Therefore it is necessary to monitor data in time series.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to simplify the control of personal computer (PC) such as control pointer, keyboard control and make it easier to do the presentation by controlling the slide remotely using smartphone through wifi connections facility. The smartphone is a multimedia phone that combines PC functionality with microprocessor, memory, and built-in modem to produce smart smartphone gadgets. Problems that occur when performing a presentation such as PC control, control pointer and keyboard control for input should be close to the PC so it is less than optimal in explaining the material. The model used in implementing the use of Android Smartphone for PC control is a conceptual model consisting of several stages: potential and problems, data collection, system testing, test results, and system implementation or implementation. From the results of PC control research can be done by connecting the Smartphone with a PC via wifi network so that PC can be controlled remotely. PC control application is an application that can control PC remotely connected via wifi network connection. Benefits derived from this research make it easy to mengedalikan PC remotely such as facilitate in the percentage and control pointer and control Keyboard for input process.

Abstract

The Internet era has had an impact in various sectors of human life. One is the economic sector. Economic transactions change from the traditional pattern (face to face) to online. The customer does not need to ask about the condition of an item to be purchased to a close friend or family, but simply by reviewing the product from the same buyers comments. Products that get good reviews mean good quality. However, a problem arises if the comment data is very large and will make it difficult for customers to summarize the quality. Therefore, an automatic opinion mining system is required which can directly give conclusions about the quality of a product. This research makes an opinion mining system by applying the Naïve Bayes algorithm by taking a case study of facebook account Dugal Delivry. The measurement result with confusion matrix gives precision value of 88,89%, recall 80% and accuracy equal to 85%.

Abstract

Chandra Tech store is a store that sells computer along with other computer accessories. In the Chandra store sales system is still having difficulties in searching for existing products and difficulties in finding information on goods products in the store and information specifications of goods to be purchased and still lack of public knowledge about the existence of this Chandra store. To overcome this problem then the application of product knowledge is suitable for this research is to provide information about the product to be sold with detail of goods, and recommends an up selling strategy in sales by explaining the most expensive products, product searches, and about purchases and payments as well as about purchases and payments that can be done so that customers become more interested in purchasing the most expensive products. The research is website for product selling with the application of product knowledge and sales up selling strategy with a descriptif method for research and system development method is OOAD (Object Oriented Analysis and Design) starting from requirements, analysis, design, implementation and testing. With this website can help customers in facilitating the purchase of products in this store and can help the store to promote products sold and can raise services to customers through online sales.
