Abstract

Kesehatan mental merupakan suatu kondisi batin yang senantiasa berada dalam keadaan tenang, aman dan tentram, dan upaya untuk menemukan ketenangan batin dapat dilakukan antara lain melalui penyesuaian diri secara resignasi (penyerahan diri sepenuhnya kepada Tuhan)”.  Sedangkan menurut paham ilmu kedokteran, kesehatan mental merupakan suatu kondisi yang memungkinkan perkembangan fisik, intelektual dan emosional yang optimal dari seseorang dan perkembangan itu berjalan selaras dengan keadaan orang lain.sementara mental yang sehat adalah terwujudnya keserasian yang sungguh-sungguh antara fungsi-fungsi kejiwaan dan terciptanya penyesuaian diri antara individu dengan dirinya sendiri dan lingkungannya berdasarkan keimanan dan ketakwaan serta bertujuan untuk mencapai hidup bermakna dan bahagia di dunia dan akhirat. Jika mental sehat dicapai, maka individu memiliki integrasi, penyesuaian dan identifikasi positif terhadap orang lain. Individu belajar menerima tanggung jawab, menjadi mandiri dan mencapai integrasi tingkah laku. Sehat mental adalah terwujudnya keharmonisan dalam fungsi jiwa serta tercapainya kemampuan untuk menghadapi permasalahan sehari-hari, sehingga merasakan kebahagiaan dan kepuasan dalam dirinya. Seseorang dikatakan memiliki mental yang sehat, bila ia terhindar dari gejala penyakit jiwa dan memanfatkan potensi yang dimilikinya untuk menyelaraskan fungsi jiwa dalam dirinya.         Kata kunci : Kesehatan Mental, Konseling, Bimbingan Islam

Abstract

The response introductory practicum Natural Sciences have  not  been maximum results, so that the necessary development of learning management model of direct instruction. This research approach Research & Development (R & D). Subjects were students in. This research was initiated preliminary studies, training needs analysis, FGD, model development, model of learning management guidelines focused direct instruction films and test models of direct instruction teaching learning management. Individual testing, the test group and the limited trial is an attempt to determine the effectiveness of the learning management model focused direct instruction films developed. Data analysis by descriptive and analytical (test wilxocon). Results of a survey of learning management offer direct instruction in primary education: (1) lecturers have not been using the medium of film to convey practical introduction to the theory, (2) pre-tests and post-tests are rarely performed. This research resulted in the learning management model focused direct instruction films and guidelines easier to understand and run. Management stages, namely: planning, implementation, and evaluation. This is evident in a limited test results that there is an increase between pretest to posttest results of students in primary (wilxocon test = 0.00, p <0.05). The conclusions of this research is direct instruction model of learning management focused films can effectively improve the ability of students in a science practicum. Keywords: Direct Instruction; Management: Science PracticumResponsi pengantar praktikum Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) belum memberikan hasil yang maksimal, sehingga diperlukan pengembangan model manajemen pembelajaran direct instruction. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research & Development (R&D). Subyek penelitian adalah mahasiswa PGMI. Penelitian ini diawali studi pendahuluan, analisis kebutuhan pelatihan, FGD, pengembangan model, panduan model manajemen  pembelajaran direct instruction berfokus film dan uji model manajemen pembelajaran pembelajaran direct instruction. Uji coba perorangan, uji coba kelompok dan uji coba terbatas merupakan upaya untuk mengetahui efektifitas model manajemen  pembelajaran direct instruction berfokus film dikembangkan. Analisis data secara diskriptif dan analitik (uji wilxocon). Hasil survey terhadap manajemen pembelajaran direct instruction di Jurusan PGMI: (1) dosen belum menggunakan media film dalam menyampaikan pengantar teori praktikum, (2) pre-tes dan pos-tes jarang dilakukan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan model manajemen pembelajaran direct instruction berfokus film dan panduan yang lebih mudah untuk dipahami dan dijalankan. Tahapan manajemennya, yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Hal tersebut terbukti pada hasil uji terbatas bahwa terdapat peningkatan antara hasil pretes dengan postes mahasiswa PGMI (uji wilxocon = 0.00, p < 0.05). Simpulan penelitian adalah  model manajemen pembelajaran direct instruction berfokus film efektif dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam praktikum IPA. Kata kunci: direct instruction; manajemen; praktikum IPA

Abstract

The aims of this research to analisys toward IAIN to be UIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, analysis readiness IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon to support changes become UIN Cirebon, analysis constraints becomes UIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. This research conducted in IAIN Cirebon. The subject of this research is IAIN stakeholder consist of leaderships, 33 lectures, 17 staff administration, and 350 student of institute, and user around Cirebon. This research is qualitative research type case study. Instrument of this research using questionnaire, guidance interview, and documentation. Data Analysis using three type, consist of data reduction, data presentation, and data verificated by induktif, deduktif, and comparative. The result show refers to regulation of ministry of religion number 15, 2015 about changing higher education in ministry of religion about changing IAIN become UIN, consist of number of student of university, qualified of lecturer and staff education, and acreditation of department. Resources unmet are number of qualified lecturer, facilitaties and infrastuctures, number of department and faculty, and curriculum of integration. Stakeholder provided positive respon and support to changing IAIN become UIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon have a number of problem consist of facilitaties and infrastuctures incomplete, the number of lecture suitably qualified, the number of department and faculty, curriculum doesn’t standarized, academic atmosphere doesn’t condusive, SOP is still print out book but not implemented, UIN development team unform.            Keyword: Resources, Readiness, IAIN, UIN

Abstract

Implementasi pembelajaran IPA Biologi di SMP masih sebatas  penyampaian materi oleh guru dan penekanan penguasaan materi (kognitif) terhadap siswa. Penggunaan Model Direct Instruction yang masih mendominasi di kelas kurang memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk terlibat langsung dalam pembelajaran, sehingga berdampak pada hasil belajar yang belum maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar IPA Biologi siswa kelas VII pada aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor ditinjau dari penerapan Model Guided Inquiry berbasis Scientific Approach. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian quasi experiment dengan design Nonequivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah semua siswa kelas VII SMPN 14 Yogyakarta T.A. 2014/2015. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling, yaitu kelas VII A (kelas eksperimen), dan kelas VII B (kelas kontrol). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, angket, dan observasi. Analisis data hasil belajar siswa pada aspek kognitif menggunakan Independent Samples t-test, aspek afektif dan psikomotor menggunakan uji Mann Whitney U Test. Hasil belajar IPA Biologi pada kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen signifikan rata-rata berbeda untuk aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor ditunjukan dengan p < 0,05. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar IPA Biologi pada aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor signifikan rata-rata berbeda ditinjau dari penerpan Model Guided Inquiry berbasis Scientific Approach. Kata Kunci: Guided Inquiry, Scientific Approach, Ekosistem, Hasil Belajar

Abstract

One of the problems facing the organization is the low quality of human resources. Number of human resources greater if properly empowered and effectively will give an advantage in achieving organizational goals. Organizational goals will be achieved when employees merndapat satisfaction in work. In creating human resources capable of competing on the rapid changes in the human resources needs to be fostered by the Quality of Work Life. Quality. Components of the Quality of Life work consists of participation of employees, career development, conflict resolution, communication, health, safety, health, work environment, adequate compensation and a sense of pride. Job satisfaction is the general attitude of workers who assess the difference between the amount that should he get by the number obtained. Formulation of the problem in this research are: 1) is there any influence of Quality of Work Life on job satisfaction Lecturer at the Faculty of Sharia and Islamic Economics IAIN Sheikh Nurjati Cirebon.2) What Factors Quality of Work Life the dominant influence on job satisfaction Lecturer at the Faculty of Sharia Economic and Islam IAIN Sheikh Nurjati Cirebon. The data used is data Quantitative and methods of research using descriptive method. Data collection techniques in this study using a standard scale questionnaire using Likert scale. Test Multiple Linear Regression Y = 35.654 + 0.751 X2 + 0,926X6 variables that most affect job satisfaction lecturers are working environment with a coefficient of 0.926, the second variable that affects job satisfaction is career development with a coefficient of 0.751 Adjusted R Square figures or coefficient of determination of 0.421 means a variation of job satisfaction can be explained by the variable QWL From ANOVA or F test, obtained F count was 16.295 with a significance level of 0.000 for 0.000 probability less than 0.05, the regression model can be used to predict job satisfaction or work environment and development career together Lecturer effect on job satisfaction. Keywords: Quality of Work Life, Job Satisfaction

Abstract

In a process of research, which is still the fundamental problem is the lack of knowledge of students on the statistics. Likewise, the students of Department of Tadris IPS IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. They consider the statistics is the science that is difficult to learn because of the complexity of the figures contained in it. Incomprehension students to statistics often bring negative character. Like telling other people to do the work, do not do the job thoroughly, cheating during exams, and asked for ease of value by the lecturer. As a result, not a few of them are low-value statistics even repeat. Many of those who avoid quantitative research because the necessary statistical tests on it. Therefore, researchers interested in improving student understanding of the material descriptive statistics through practical methods based Islamic character education, as well as assessing how much the effectiveness of the use of such methods. Islamic character is embedded in the student is trying hard, fair, thorough, logical thinking, and resignation. This study uses a quantitative approach to research that compares learning outcomes (test 1 and 2) using lab-based Islamic character education. The samples are all students of third semester Class C Department of Tadris IPS, IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon academic year 2015/2016 amounted to 35 people. The research instrument used is a matter of the test contains 10 questions about the description numbered. Before use, test questions have been tested validity and reliability value with all items about the results valid and reliable. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics, one sample t test, t test paired two sample groups, and the paired Wilcoxon test. Based on the research results, obtained by the average value of test 1 and 2 are 91.57 and 96 with learning completeness percentage of test 1 and 2 amounted to 94.29% and 100%. Increased students understanding of the results of both tests are significant at the 5% error level. It has been tested using one sample t test, t test paired two sample groups, and the paired Wilcoxon test. This results in the third test p value < α ie 0.000; 0.001 and 0.003 of which are smaller than 0.05.Keyword: effectiveness, basic statistics, methods practicum, an Islamic character educationDalam suatu proses penelitian, yang masih menjadi problema mendasar adalah kurangnya pengetahuan mahasiswa terhadap statistika. Demikian juga dengan mahasiswa Jurusan Tadris IPS IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. Mereka menganggap statistika adalah ilmu yang sukar dipelajari karena rumitnya angka-angka yang terdapat di dalamnya. Ketidakpahaman mahasiswa terhadap statistika seringkali memunculkan karakter negatif. Seperti menyuruh orang lain untuk mengerjakan tugas, mengerjakan tugas dengan tidak teliti, mencontek saat ujian, dan meminta kemudahan nilai oleh dosen. Akibatnya, tak sedikit diantara mereka yang nilai statistiknya rendah bahkan mengulang. Banyak diantara mereka yang menghindari penelitian kuantitatif karena diperlukan uji statistik di dalamnya. Oleh karena itu, peneliti tertarik untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa tentang materi statistik deskriptif melalui metode praktikum berbasis pendidikan karakter islami, serta mengkaji seberapa besar efektivitas penggunaan metode tersebut. Karakter Islami yang ditanamkan pada mahasiswa adalah berusaha keras, jujur, teliti, berpikir logis, dan bertawakkal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif komparasional yaitu penelitian yang membandingkan hasil belajar (test 1 dan 2) dengan menggunakan metode praktikum berbasis pendidikan karakter islami. Sampelnya adalah seluruh mahasiswa semester III Kelas C Jurusan Tadris IPS, IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon Tahun akademik 2015/2016 berjumlah 35 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah soal test berisi soal uraian berjumlah 10 soal. Sebelum digunakan, soal test ini diuji nilai validitisan dan reliabilitasannya dengan hasil seluruh item soal valid dan reliabel. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif, uji t satu sampel, uji t dua kelompok sampel berpasangan, dan uji wilcoxon data berpasangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh nilai rata-rata test 1 dan 2 adalah 91,57 dan 96 dengan prosentase ketuntasan belajar test 1 dan 2 sebesar 94,29% dan 100%. Peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa dari hasil kedua test adalah signifikan pada taraf kesalahan 5%. Hal ini telah diuji menggunakan uji t satu sampel, uji t dua kelompok sampel berpasangan, dan uji wilcoxon data berpasangan. Ketiga uji ini menghasilkan nilai pv < α yaitu 0,000; 0,001 dan 0,003 yang semuanya lebih kecil dari 0,05. Kata Kunci : efektivitas, statistik dasar, metode praktikum, pendidikan karakter islami

Abstract

The transformation of IAIN Sheikh Nurjati to a university is an inevitability. This is due to the tendency of the educational market which increasingly leaves "typical" science of IAIN to the general science. In addition, the dichotomy of science is believed to be continuously maintained, If IAIN Sheikh Nurjati is institute. This situation is responded by IAIN Sheikh Nurjati with establishing the plan and strategic management of the university transformation. But apparently, the plan is not accordance with the implementation of its management. Many things that indicate IAIN Sheikh Nurjati is not ready to become a university. The unreadiness could be more obvious when it is viewed by the Balanced Scorecard approach. For that, this research is conducted to evaluate the, so far, the strategic management with the Balanced Scorecard approach in IAIN Sheikh Nurjati in an effort to transform into a university. The reseach is based on the Kaplan’s and Norton’s theory of Balanced Scorecard. The research approach is qualitative. Data collection techniques are in-depth participatory observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. Qualitative data validation through credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. Meanwhile, the testing of quantitative data through validity test and reliability test. Technical analysis and interpretation of data, namely data collection, data reduction, data display and data conclusion. The reseach found that (1) the expected transformation of IAIN to UIN is to integrate science and to broaden scope of science, (2) The priority programs to be university in the four perspectives of the balanced scorecard are not fully achieved, (3) IAIN is not ready to transform into a university, and (4) transformation efforts are not fully can run well, because of some inhibiting factors. In conclusion, IAIN Sheikh Nurjati requires a breakthrough program to achieve the transformation.  Keywords: Strategic Management, Balanced Scorecard, Transformation

Learning strategies are as a teacher effort in creating a system environment that allows students to learn or act of selection patterns of student teachers in the embodiment of teaching and learning activities . Criteria in selecting the learning strategies among other things , learning objectives , skills required subject matter , the media used , and the evaluation system to be used , as well as students as subjects and teachers practice.
