Abstract

Tulisan ini membahas kajian sifat-sifat modul P-Bézout melalui idealisasi. Modul P-Bézout pada tulisan ini hanya berupa modul Bézout. Kajian sifat-sifat tersebut dilihat dari sisi kecukupan sebagai bahan ajar perkuliahan Teori Gelanggang dan dari sisi pembentukan karakter mahasiswa. Pola penyampaian dalam proses penguasan materi berbanding lurus dengan pertumbuhan karakter positif mahasiswa khususnya berupa sifat kritis dan kreatif sebagai titik tolak terbentuknya pribadi guru yang mandiri dan berwibawa karena mampu memberikan kebutuhan siswa dari sisi materi dan kepribadian.

Abstract

Creative thinking ability is the one of important things in mathematics lesson. In developing such creative thinking ability, teachers must be good at giving ideas and issues which are relatively different from before, so that we can find something new. The authors formulate the problem: Do the creative thinking abilities of students who received Creative Problem Solving learning better than students who received conventional learning?Quasi-experimental research with experimental design (Nonequivalent group pretest-posttest design) aims to determine students' achievement of creative thinking abilities through Creative Problem Solving. The benefits of this research are expected to improve the students' creative thinking ability through CPS further in SMPN 2 South Tarogong. The instrument used in this study is a written test form with a description of the subject lines and angles. The population was all students of class VIII SMPN 2 South Tarogong; the sample of the selected class is VII-D and VII-E class. From the analysis of data normality test results of initial tests, obtained a score in the experimental class was not normal, so the test followed by Mann Whitney test, the gain was normalized. These results indicate that: (1) The improvement of students’ creative thinking ability who received Creative Problem Solving learning better than students who received conventional learning, (2) The improvement of students’ creative thinking ability who received Creative Problem Solving learning included into the high category, (3) The students’ attitude of the experiment class on the subjects of mathematics and Creative Problem Solving learning was dominated by a positive attitude. Keywords: Creative thinking ability, Creative Problem Solving, conventional, experimental methods.

Abstract

The development of an authentic assessment instrument performance is a form of performance assessment instruments in elementary school mathematics learning that aims to measure the learning outcomes from the aspects of students' skills. This assessment instrument requires the use of a valid assessment of performance, realaiabel, practical, efficient and easy to learn. Research subjects in elementary school SDN Nurrusshidiq town of Cirebon and Cirebon City Karanganyar class V on the material geometry. This study is a model of the development of R & D using analysis of modified Borg and Gall researchers into three phases include: First, through the analysis of data needs that information obtained in the aspects of performance assessment instruments in learning mathematics are: preparation, execution and reporting of the work . Second, the lattice instrument consisting of 6 items, after tested retained as the 6th item is valid. Third, according to the input of the experts who were four people using the techniques of expert judgment, to-four experts came from three expert evaluation, and mathematical instruments and a senior Mathematics teacher. Fourth, the content validity of the test results were analyzed using the Q Score of all aspects assessed by experts covering aspects aspects Compliance with indicator, writing, language, and physical appearance ideals percentage value of 91% included in the criteria used very good and decent. Fifth, data from the instrument reliability performance on a small scale using GENOVA analysis, problem number one (0.89), Problem number two (0.90), question number three (0.82) about the number three (0.78). (4). Sixth, practicality uyang instruments were analyzed using T scores obtained an average score of 52.33 and a T score of each rater I (49), rater II (54), and a third rater score obtained from T (54) and based on the assessment teacher performance assessment instruments classified as practical . In conclusion authentic assessment instrument performance worthy to be used by primary school mathematics teacher and teacher summarized the results of all development in the use of manual performance assessment instrument. It is advisable for teachers to take advantage of the assessment instrument performance as a capability assessment of students in aspects of learning math skills in elementary school.

Abstract

Banyak ditemukan berbagai metode operasi dasar aritmetika seperti metode Trachtenberg, metode horizoltal/ metris, jarimatika, matemagica, dan mental aritmetika sempoa. Metode-metode tersebut dimaksudkan untuk mempercepat hitungan yang disebut sebagai aritmetika cepat. Kemampuan berhitung cepat dapat dibagi ke dalam tiga kategori besar, yaitu ofensif (menghitung cepat), defensive (ada system koreksi jawaban), dan menghibur. Metode Trachtenberg (MT) merupakan jenis ofensif dan defensive karena bertujuan untuk menghitung secara cepat dan dapat mengkoreksi kesalahan. Sedangkan metode konvensional (MK) menghitung dengan kecepatan biasa dan tidak terdapat sistem koreksi.  MT kalah cepat dengan metode konvensional (MK) yang menggunakan kaidah 10 (k10). Namun MT mempunyai keunggulan di bidang pengkoreksian jawaban dan dapat menjumlahkan dari kolom mana saja secara acak. Dengan mengubah mindset menjadi k-10 seperti sistem MK, metode Sutrisno (MasTris) menyederhanakan prosedur k11 pada MT sehingga dari sisi waktu metode ini lebih cepat dalam perhitungan dibandingkan dengan MT dan MK.

Abstract

AbstractPendidikan karakter menjadi salah satu agenda pendidikan nasional Indonesia. Pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter di Indonesia terintegrasi dalam proses pembelajaran setiap mata pelajaran, termasuk dalam pelajaran matematika. Matematika sebagai ilmu yang  mendasar dan diselenggarakan di setiap jenjang pendidikan mulai pendidikan dasar hingga pendidikan tinggi, menjadi salah satu media implementasi pendidikan karakter di sekolah. Model dan pendekatan yang tepat perlu dirancang dan direncanakan sedemikian rupa, sehingga pendidikan karakter dapat terlaksana dan karakter yang diharapkan dapat dicapai oleh peserta didik. Pembelajaran semacam ini disebut pembelajaran by design, salah satunya adalah pembelajan matematika konstruktivis dengan pendekatan inkuiri guna menumbuhkan karakter kerja keras pada peserta didik. Penelitian yang dilaksanakan dalam bentuk kualitatif deskriptif ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran matematika konstruktivis dengan pendekatan inkuiri dapat menumbuhkan dan meningkatkan karakter kerja keras pada peserta didik. Pembelajaran by design sejenis ini diharap dapat dikembangkan dan  menjadi solusi dalam mengintegrasikan pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran. Keywords: pendidikan karakter, kerja keras, matematika, konstruktivis, inkuiri.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis mahasiswa antara yang memperoleh penerapan model pembelajaran mind mapping dengan yang memperoleh penerapan model pembelajaran konvensional. Ditelaah juga respon mahasiswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran mind mapping. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa Tadris Matematika IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon yang mengikuti mata kuliah Kapita Selekta pada semester genap Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016, sedangkan sampel penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa kelas A (kelompok kontrol) dan mahasiswa kelas B (kelompok eksperimen) yang mengikuti mata kuliah Kapita Selekta pada semester genap Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016 dengan jumlah mahasiswa masing-masing terdiri dari 42 orang mahasiswa. Sampel dipilih dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Analisis data dilakukan terhadap rerata gain ternormalisasi hasil tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis kedua kelompok sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis mahasiswa yang memperoleh penerapan model pembelajaran mind mapping lebih tinggi daripada mahasiswa yang memperoleh penerapan model pembelajaran konvensional. Analisis data angket respon mahasiswa memperlihatkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa memberikan respon positif terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran mind mapping. Keywords: pemahaman konsep, matematika, mind mapping

Abstract

Ability of connection of student mathematics represent one of the standard process in mathematics study. To be optimal of ability of koneksi of student mathematics require to be looked for by solution. One of alternative which can be gone through by is by applying model the Invention study ( Discovery Learning). Intention of this research is to know the respon student to use model the Invention study ( Discovery Learning), knowing ability of connection of student mathematics and to know the influence model the invention study. This research use the quantitative method having the character of experiment. Goals population in this research is entire student SMPN 2 Sindangagung, while its population is entire student of class of VII SMPN 2 Sindangagung. As for becoming sample is class of VII E, amounting to 31 student. Technique of data collecting consisted of by the enquette of assessment of student and tes. Result of research from hypothesis test indicate that the value t count/calculate at variable model the Invention study ( Discovery Learning) is 6,760, value of at t tables is 2,045. Inferential hence that t count > t of is tables of its meaning there are applying influence model the Invention study ( Discovery Learning) to ability of connection of student mathematics. average value of Ability of good connection student mathematics also that is 80,81.Keyword: Discovery Learning, Mathematics Connection

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk mengetahui peningkatan prestasi belajar peserta didik melalui model EJAS berbasis mathematic edutainment dan (2) untuk mengetahui peningkatan perilaku kepedulian lingkungan pada peserta didik melalui model EJAS berbasis mathematic edutainment. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre experimental design. Desain penelitian yang digunakan one group pre test-post test. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapatkan (1) terjadi peningkatan prestasi belajar dengan tingkat peningkatan rendah sebesar 0%,  sedang 14,29%, dan tinggi 85,71 %. Secara klasikal diperoleh nilai normalized gain  sebesar 90% atau 0,9 yang berarti tafsiran peningkatan prestasi belajar termasuk kategori tinggi (2) terjadi peningkatan terjadi peningkatan  perilaku kepedulian terhadap lingkungan dengan skor  peningkatan rendah sebesar 0%,  sedang sebesar  42,86%, dan tinggi sebesar 57,14%. Berdasarkan nilai normalized gain  secara klasikal diperoleh  sebesar 73% atau 0,73 yang berarti tafsiran peningkatan perilaku kepedulian terhadap lingkungan yang terjadi termasuk kategori tinggi. Abstract

This Research examined students's understanding of mathematical concepts ability. Samples are tenth grade students in one of state high school in Cirebon City. Experiment class received Challenge-based Learning (CbL) approach while control class received Conventional Approach.The instrument used was understanding of mathematical concepts ability test. The data earned were analyzed statistically. The results showed that students's understanding of mathematical concepts ability who received  CbL approach is better than students who received conventioanl approach (1/2 sig = 0.0005<0.05). In term indicators of understanding of mathematical concepts,highest enhancement that achieved by students was indicator of classify objects based on fulfilled or not requirements that form that concept, while the lowest enhanchment that achieved by students was indicator of make example or counter example from the concept learned.
