Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan analisis matematis antara mahasiswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran kolaboratif MURDER dengan mahasiswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional pada mata kuliah Kajian Pembelajaran Matematika Modern, serta untuk mengetahui respon mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran kolaboratif MURDER. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuasi eksperimen dengan disain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretest posttest control group design. Kelas eksperimen memperoleh pembelajaran kolaboratif MURDER dan kelas kontrol memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional. Untuk mendapatkan data hasil penelitian digunakan instrumen berupa tes kemampuan analisis matematis dan angket respon mahasiswa. Penelitian dilakukan di IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon pada semester ganjil tahun akademik 2015/2016. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa jurusan Tadris Matematika IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon dengan sampel penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa jurusan Tadris Matematika yang mengambil mata kuliah Kajian Pembelajaran Matematika Modern, dengan kelas A sebagai kelas  kontrol dan kelas B sebagai kelas eksperimen yang masing-masing berjumlah 38 orang mahasiswa. Analisis data dilakukan terhadap rerata gain ternormalisasi kedua kelompok sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan analisis matematis mahasiswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran kolaboratif MURDER lebih tinggi daripada peningkatan kemampuan analisis matematis mahasiswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional. Analisis data angket respon mahasiswa menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa memberikan respon positif terhadap pembelajaran kolaboratif MURDER. Keywords: Analisis, Matematis, Kolaboratif, MURDER

Abstract

Salah satu standar proses dalam pembelajaran matematika yang dirumuskan oleh National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM ) adalah belajar untuk berkomunikasi (mathematical communication). Kurangnya kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dikarenakan belum maksimalnya penggunaan metode mencatat kreatif dan model pembelajaran yang tepat. Metode mencatat kreatif yang dimaksud adalah metode mind mapping, sedangkan model pembelajaran yang dimaksud adalah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share. Tujuan penelitian ini, untuk mengetahui apakah metode mind mapping dan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis, baik secara parsial maupun simultan, serta seberapa besar pengaruh metode mind mapping dan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket dan tes. Penelitian ini mengambil populasi kelas X MAN Cirebon 1 tahun ajaran 2012/2013 dengan jumlah 469 siswa. Sementara sampel diperoleh dengan metode cluster random sampling, kelas yang menjadi sampel yaitu kelas X2 yang terdiri dari 47 siswa. Setelah dilakukan penelitian dan pengolahan data, maka berdasarkan uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai thitung (1,675) < ttabel (1,679), hal ini berarti metode mind mapping secara parsial tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Demikian juga dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share tidak   berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis, karena thitung  (1,349) < ttabel  (1,679). Namun, Fhitung  (3,236) > Ftabel (3,204) hal ini menunjukan bahwa adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara metode mind mapping dan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share secara simultan terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Koefisien korelasi (R) sebesar 0,353 yang artinya antara variabel bebas (X1 dan X2) dan terikat (Y) memiliki hubungan yang lemah, koefisien determinasi (R square) sebesar 0,125 atau 12,5% artinya besarnya pengaruh metode mind mapping dan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa adalah sebesar 12,5%. Sisanya 87,5% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain dalam kemampuan komunikasi matematis.Kata Kunci: Mind Mapping, Think Pair Share, Komunikasi Matematis

Abstract

In the world of education right now, a lot of complex issues occur and need special attention from all parties. One of them is the lack of curiosity and self-confidence of students thus affecting student learning results primarily on mathematical subjects. The better the curiosity and self-confidence of students, then students will be more motivated to learn. So the students will obtain a meaningful learning and get the results of the study are in accordance with the national education goals. The purpose of this research was to review; How big is the curiosity of students, how high the confidence of students, and how great the influence of curiosity and self-confidence of students toward outcome studied mathematics students. The research method used is the quantitative methods. The population in this research is grade VII MTs Negeri 1 Cirebon  in the year 2014/2015 Lessons, with the number of students 1127 people. The technique of sampling using purporsive sampling. By using the selected sampling engineering 80 students to become respondents. The dwarf in the collection of data for the variable X is now with the spread against the target of research. As for the variable Y by using the test instrument. Then the data obtained were analyzed by using test normality, test its homogeneity, linierity test regression, autocorrelation test, and test the multikolinieritas as well as a test of the hypothesis. Based on the results of the analysis of the obtained an average score of curiosity is 59,25% by category and average score results of learning math is 69,11% with high category as well a  the average score of studen learning outcomes i.e. 67,81% by category enough. The result statistical hypothesis test note that 11,782>2,37 the Ho are received. With equation regresion is 83.866 + 0.128 0.364 x 1 + X 2 which means there are influences between curiosity and self-confidence of students toward outcome studied mathematics. Based on the determination of the magnitude of the influence coefficient is 4,79% meaning that curiosity and self-confidence of students gives only a small influence against the results of the study of mathematics students. While the rest of 95,21% is affected by other factors. Key words: students Curiosity, self-confidence of the students, the results of the study

Abstract

Mathematicts learning process ussually takes place with the lecture method. So that students just listen, not many ideas put forward, students feel bored, especially math lessons they find difficult. In mathematical operations form the subject of algebra are abstract elements, they have difficulty understanding abstract concepts. One effort to help students understand the concept of algebra by using props AEM (Algebraic Experience Materials). The purpose of this study to determine the students response to the use of props AEM (Algebraic Experience Materials), to determine students creative thinking skills in the subject of mathematics learning operations in the algebra of MTs Al-Hidayah Ciawijapura. In addition, to determine the effect of the use of props AEM (Algebraic Experience Materials) to creative thinking skills of students on the subject of operations in the algebra of MTs Al Hidayah Ciawijapura. Based on the results of the study, students response to the use of props AEM (Algebraic Experience Materials) in mathematics including a very strong category with an average of 82.23%. Creative thinking skills of students in mathematics learning test average of 75.21%, the value of good category. While the results of the use of the analysis of hypothesis testing showed t_hitung> t_tabel or 2.977> 2.042. This means that the use of props AEM (Algebraic Experience Materials) to creative thinking skills of students there is the influence of 22.29% and the remaining 77.71% influenced by other factors not examined.

Abstract

As an educator , a teacher must be able to implement and create a conducive learning atmosphere and fun during the learning process takes place so that students can be motivated to learn the spirit . This study aims to : ( 1 ) Develop non-print instructional materials in the form of audio- visual -based teaching materials for students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Ciledug , ( 2 ) To determine the students response to mathematics learning through audio- visual -based teaching materials. The method used in the development of mathematics teaching materials are the kind of research and development ADDIE models . Some stages will be carried out in the research and development are: ( 1 ) analysis , ( 2 ) design , ( 3 ) development , ( 4 ) implementation , and ( 5 ) evaluation . This research resulted in a product such as the development of audio- visual -based teaching materials that have been validated by experts in their field . Furthermore, the results of product testing , to see the effectiveness test which concluded that based on the calculation of Two Independent Sample Test results obtained value Z_hitung > Z_tabel ( -3.917 > -1.96 ) and Asym . Sig ( 2 - tailed ) of 0.000 < 0.05 , thus it can be concluded there is a difference in learning outcomes between the experimental class and the class of the N - gain control , this can be seen in the experimental class rank 50.65 and control class rank of 30 , 35 , thus it can be concluded that the experimental class learning outcomes better than the control class .Keywords: Development of Teaching Materials, Audio-visual.

Abstract

ABSTRACTWeb-based math teaching materials using Wordpress is an alternative teaching materials used by teachers in the learning process to give the material as well as the collaboration of students and teachers Online. The development of research aims to develop a Web-based math teaching materials using Wordpress for appropriate and effective use in learning. The method used is the subject of research and development with SMA X Cirebon. The results showed that Web-based math teaching materials using Wordpress developed valid and effective to use for students of class X. Web-based math teaching materials using WordPress gets very worthy of an expert assessment of material by 96% .In the Web effectively used by students visits from classical completeness value at 97% with an average value of 80.833 and received good response from the students to the use of that site by 79%. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the developed site got a very decent ratings from experts and effectively used in learning by high school students X Cirebon. Keywords: Wordpresss, Teaching Material

Abstract

This study aimed to determine whether there are significant differences in mathematical thinking ability of students who use the assessment tasks with portfolio assessment. This research was conducted in class VIII B and VIII D SMPN 2 Cirebon. The sampling technique using random sampling techniques, with samples of 45 students for group assessment tasks (X1) and 45 students for portfolio valuation group (X2). The instrument used in this study are shaped test of 10 questions about the description. The results obtained by the mathematical creative thinking ability of students to use the assessment task has an average of 74.31 with a median and mode respectively 74.00 and 70.00. While the ability to think creatively mathematics students using portfolio assessment has an average of 79.69 with a median and mode respectively 80.00 and 82.00. Of hypothesis testing via t-test obtained tcount < ttable ie tcount = -4.557 , while ttable = 1.987, This case shows that there are no significant differences in mathematics creative thinking ability of students between the use of assessment tasks with portfolio assessment in mathematicsKeywords        :Assessment Task , Portfolio Assessment , and Creative Thinking Skills

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui; bagaimana pemahaman konsep geometri tentang segitiga dan segi empat (kedudukan dua garis, sifat-sifat garis sejajar, besar sudut, jenis sudut). Untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal Bidang Datar (persegi, persegi panjang, segitiga, jajargenjang)  tentang sifat-sifat, luas, dan keliling persegi, persegi panjang, segitiga, jajargenjang, dan penggunaannya dalam pemecahan masalah. Banyak konsep matematika lebih mudah dipahami jika disajikan dengan bahasa geometri. Untuk dapat mempelajari geometri dengan baik, siswa harus dituntut untuk menguasai kemampuan dasar geometri, keterampilan dasar dalam belajar geometri terdiri dari: kemahiran visual, lisan, melukis, logika, dan aplikasi. Pemahaman konsep geometri dalam penelitian ini yaitu paham/mengerti akan materi geometri itu sendiri, dimana materi geometri itu sendiri membahas tentang hubungan titik, garis, sudut, bidang dan benda-benda ruang serta sifat-sifatnya.Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Cidahu yang terdiri dari 10 kelas dengan jumlah 402 siswa. Sedangkan  pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan mengambil satu kelas dari 10 kelas yaitu kelas  VII E yang berjumlah 37 siswa. Hasil penelitian, setelah dilakukan pegolahan data berdasarkan program bantuan SPSS versi 16 diperoleh nilai uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwathitung sebesar 4,294. Pada derajat bebas (df) = 35, nilai  t  tabel pada taraf signifikansi 5% adalah 2,030. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa thitung>ttabel yaitu 4,294  >2,030 yang berarti bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pemahaman konsep geometri  terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal bidang datar. Didapat korelasi antara pemahaman konsep geometri dengan kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal bidang datar (r) adalah 0,587, dan koefisien determinasi (R) sebesar 0,345. Kata kunci: Pemahaman Konsep, Geometri, Bidang Datar, Menyelesaikan Soal-Soal Bidang Datar
