Abstract

The low of synthesis analysis capabilities of students in resolving a problem or physical symptoms due to the lack of application of the method of problem-solving, so it caused low student learning outcomes. Therefore, conducted research that aims at improving the synthesis of analysis capabilities of students. Special purpose research to describe: (1) lesson plan implementation (2) procedural skill (3) learning outcomes (4) students response. The kind of research using classroom action research with Hopkins model that consisting of three cycles, each cycle includes plan, action/observation, and reflective. Data obtained through a test, observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative and quantitative. Research findings: (1) lesson plan implementation in good categories (2) procedural skills students indicated synthesis analysis capabilities of students was increased (3) the students learning outcomes, that at present the percentage of classical exhaustiveness in cycles I 11,43% (not exhaustive), in cycles II 88,57% (exhaustive), in cycles III 94,29% (exhaustive) (4) the response of students to the problem solving methods through direct instruction in good categories.

Abstract

ABSTRACT:  Improper learning steps resulted in low student synthesis and analytical skills in solving a physics problem or symptom. Therefore, this research is done in order to improve student synthesis and analytical skills. Specific objectives of research are: (1) achievement of lesson plans, (2) student procedural skills, (3) student learning outcomes after following learning, (4) the response of student towards learning. This type of research uses classroom action research. Data retrieval techniques through achievement test, observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Key word: Synthesis and analytical skills, direct instruction, problem solving, heat transfer.

Abstract

This research relates to the implementation of TGT in State Senior High School 12 (SMAN 12) Banjarmasin. The research objective is to describe that the Lesson Plan is well implemented, social skill, the learning result, as well as the students’ response through the learning process. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) of Hopkins model which is divided into 3 phases. To collect the data of this research is using questioners, observation, test, and documentation. The data is analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively.  The result of the research: (1) the Lesson Plan that implemented in phase 1 is 79%, II 93%, and III 100% with very good result, (2) The students’ social skill enhance in every phase, (3) the result of the students’ learning classically enhanced, in phase I is about 56% (not passed), II 80% (not passed), and III 92% (passed). (4) the response of interest and student’s motivation to follow cooperative learning is a good category. The conclusion is the application of cooperative learning TGT can enhance the students’ social skill.

Abstract

Tingginya tingkat miskonsepsi siswa kelas X.1 MAN 2 Model Banjarmasin mendorong peneliti melakukan penelitian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan RPP, tingkat miskonsespsi, hasil belajar, dan respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran generatif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas model Kemmis dan Tagart sebanyak 3 siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) keterlaksanaan RPP pada siklus I sebesar 55,71% (cukup baik), siklus II sebesar 74.30% (baik), dan siklus III sebesar 90,00% (sangat baik), (2) tingkat miskonsepsi fisika pada siklus I sebesar 48,57% (hampir setengahnya), siklus II 32,38% (hampir setengahnya), dan siklus III 19,59% (sebagian kecil), (3) hasil belajar siswa secara klasikal pada siklus I sebesar 68,60% (tidak tuntas), siklus II sebesar 80,00% (tidak tuntas), dan siklus III sebesar 91,43% (tuntas), dan (4) respon siswa positif terhadap proses model generative learning. Disimpulkan bahwa implementasi model generative learning dapat mereduksi miskonsepsi fisika siswa kelas X.1 MAN 2 Model Banjarmasin pada materi ajar dinamika partikel.

Abstract

The low of rational thinking skills of students in learning physics models encourage researchers to carry out Children’s Learning in Science (CLIS). This study aims to determine how the effectiveness of learning by using the model CLIS. The specific aims of research describing: (1) the ability of the teacher to manage the model CLIS, (2) rational thinking skills of students, (3) classical completeness student learning outcomes after participating in learning, (4) students response to the model CLIS. The study was designed and implemented using classroom action research. The subject of this study is researcher and lecturer, 2 observers and 33 students of grade XI RPL SMK 4 Banjarmasin. The technique uses test data collection, observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The results showed an increase in the ability of teachers to manage the model CLIS in cycle I, II, and III respectively by 77.78%, 86.67%, and 94.44% aspects of the rational thinking skills students in cycle I, II, and III in general has increased very well. An increase in mastery learning outcomes classical cycle I, II, and III respectively amounted to 87.87%, 96.97% and 96.97%, CLIS students response to the model in general is quite good.

Abstract

 The low student’s achievement in physics is supposed because of the lack of variation in teacher learning model used. It has an impact on students social skills. Their skills are lower and  the students tend to be passive. For that reasons the writer conducts this research and aims to improve student learning result through cooperative learning type TPS on the subject of elasticity and Hookes law. The data analysis was used through descriptive, qualitative, and quantitative. The results of this research were: (1) teachers skills in cycle I, II and III respectively 80,11%, 88,07%, and 96,59% are very good category (2) increase students social skills each cycle in good category, (3) completeness student learning results in the classical also increased each cycle respectively 47,06%, 76,47%, and 97,06%, (4) student responses during the learning process is good categorized, for interest of 3,86 while the motivation by 3,94. It appears on result average for every statement in the good category. According to the results, it can be concluded that the student learning result of grade XI IPA 3 MAN 2 Model Banjarmasin at elasticity and Hookes law subject are increasing after the application of cooperative learning model type TPS.

Abstract

Hopkins Model Classroom Action Research as much as 3 cycles are done to improve student learning outcomes. This study describes (1) lesson plan, (2) learning outcomes, (3) social skills, (4) student responses. The results showed (1) lesson plan cycle I 80.00% (good), cycle II 85.00% (very good), and cycle III 91.99% (very good), (2) students mastery first cycle 62.50%, 75.76% second cycle and third cycle of 87.88%, (3) the students social skills first cycle 67.18% (good), cycle II 81.77% (very good), and cycle III 97.91% (very good), (4) the response of students in the learning using TGT type of cooperatif learning in good categori too. Retrieved conclusion that cooperative learning model type TGT can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Rendahnya keterampilan proses sains siswa disebabkan karena siswa jarang dilatih berdiskusi dalam mempelajari materi pelajaran ataupun praktikum. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan model Inquiry-Discovery Learning (IDL) terbimbing dalam meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas X-1 SMA Negeri 10 Banjarmasin pada materi ajar optika geometri. Secara khusus bertujuan mendeskripsikan keterampilan proses sains siswa, hasil belajar produk siswa, keterlaksanaan RPP, dan respon siswa. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas model Hopkins meliputi identifikasi masalah, perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, tes, angket dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif, kuantitatif, dan kualitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksaan RPP terlaksana sangat baik dengan reabilitas rata-rata 90%, hasil belajar produk siswa mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I sebesar 83% (belum tuntas), siklus II sebesar 97% (tuntas), dan pada siklus III sebesar 100% (tuntas), keterampilan proses sains siswa mengalami peningkatan dari silkus I, II, dan III dengan ketegori cukup terampil menjadi terampil, dan respon minat dan motivasi siswa secara umum baik. Simpulan penelitian adalah model Inquiry-Discovery Learning (IDL) terbimbing pada materi ajar optika geometri di kelas X-1 SMA Negeri 10 Banjarmasin efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa.

Abstract

This research relates to the implementation of NHT in State Senior High School 12 (SMAN 12) Banjarmasin. The research objective is to describe that: (1) the Lesson Plan is well implemented; (2) social skill; (3) motivation on learning; (4) the learning result; (5) as well as the students’ response through the learning process. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) of Hopkins model which is divided in 3 phases. To collect the data of this research is using questioners, observation, test, and documentation. The data is analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitavely. The result of the research: (1) the Lesson Plan that implemented in the faze 1 is 88,25%,, II 97,75%, and III 100% with very good result; (2) The students’ social skill enhance in every phase; (3) student motivation on learning in phase I for the attention and satisfaction aspects was in good category, aspects of relevance and confidence category was in quite good, phase II of all aspects was in good category, but aspect of confidence was still in pretty good category, and the phase III of all aspect was in good category; (4) the result of the students’ learning classically enhanced, in phase I is about 45% (not passed), II 83% (ot passed), and III 100% (passed); (5) the response of interest to follow cooperative learning is good category. To obtain the conclusion that the application of cooperative learning type NHT can enhance students motivation.

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa yang bertujuan khususnya adalah menjelaskan keterlaksanaan RPP, aktivitas siswa, hasil belajar, dan respon siswa selama proses pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT. Teknik pengambilan data melalui tes hasil belajar, observasi,  angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dianalasis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas siswa setelah proses pembelajaran meningkat. Temuan penelitian yaitu: (1) Keterlaksanaan RPP selama pembelajaran berkategori sangat baik (2) Aktivitas siswa selama pembelajaran berkategori aktif (3) Hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran berkategori tuntas (4) Respon siswa dalam pembelajaran berkategori baik. Didapatkan simpulan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT efektif dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa kelas IX-A SMP Negeri 27 Banjarmasin pada pokok bahasan listrik dinamis.
