Abstract

Conventional learning makes students more dependent on teachers, less active students participation in the learning process cause low mastery of  learning results. Therefore, the aim of the research is to describe the effectiveness of the implementation of cooperative learning model Group Investigation type in improving student learning results. In particular, this study aimed to describe: (1) the implementation of the lesson plan, (2) the learning results after implementation of cooperative learning model Group Investigation type, (3) social skills of students, (4) the response of students towards learning. The type of the research is a class action research. This research consist of three cycles, each cycle includes the plan, action/observation, and reflective. Devices and instruments used in this research is the lesson plans, handouts, worksheets, THB, observation sheets of lesson plan implementation, and social skills of students, and student response sheets. Data follected through tests, observations, questionnaires, and documentation. The results showed that (1) lesson plan implementation in the first cycle was 76.00%, the second cycle is 84.00% and the third cycle was 99.33%. (2) mastery in the classical student learning results in the first cycle was 63.33%, the second cycle was 80.00%, and the third cycle is 100%. (3) students social skills for active listening skills have an average percentage of each cycle for 86.67%, 83.33% argued for asking question was 90.83% and 84.16% for active discussion. (4) the general student response was good. In the conclusion, cooperative learning model Group Investigation type effective in improving student learning results in class XI IPA 1 SMAN 4 Banjarmasin  on the subject of static fluida.

Abstract

Hasil observasi pada kelas VIII-I SMP Negeri 12 Banjarmasin menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode ceramah membuat siswa kurang aktif dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga secara tidak langsung mempengaruhi rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Hal tersebut melatar belakangi penelitian yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII-I SMP Negeri 12 Banjarmasin dengan penerapan model pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing pada pokok bahasan pemantulan cahaya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Hopkins. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII-I yang terdiri dari 32 siswa.Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan tes, observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi.Teknik analisis data secara deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing dapat meningkatkan (1) keterlaksanaan RPP pada siklus I sebesar 93,75% (terlaksana sangat baik), pada siklus II sebesar 91,25% (terlaksana sangat baik) dan pada siklus III sebesar 94,79% (terlaksana sangat baik), (2) aktivitas belajar  siswa yaitu pada siklus I secara umum tergolong cukup aktif, siklus II tergolong aktif, dan pada siklus III tergolong sangat aktif, (3) ketuntasan hasil belajar yaitu pada siklus I sebesar 59,38% (belum tuntas), siklus II sebesar 78,13% (belum tuntas) dan pada siklus III ketuntasan mencapai 87,50% (tuntas), dan (4) respon positif siswa dalam hal Attention, Relevance, Confidence, dan Satisfaction selama proses pembelajaran. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII-I SMP Negeri 12 Banjarmasin dapat ditingkatkan melalui penerapan model pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing pada pokok bahasan pemantulan cahaya.

Abstract

Learning device in SMP Negeri 4 Banjarmasin has not been designed to accommodate the needs of students to actively learn and solve problems on their own during the learning process, therefore carried out a study aimed at describing the effectiveness of the development of the physical science learning through inquiry learning model with the method of pictorial riddle. In particular, this study aimed to describe: (1) the feasibility study, (2) lesson plan implementation, (3) students critical thinking skills, (4) learning outcomes, (5) the response of students towards learning. This refers development research to the Dick and Carey. Data retrieval techniques through achievement test, observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The results were analyzed by descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The results showed that: (1) a device developed includes lesson plans, Teaching Materials and LKS are reliable instrument used, (2) the method of inquiry learning lesson plan implementation of using pictorial riddle methods in good category. (3) students critical thinking skills that include known issues, define hypotheses, solve problems, collect data, evaluate, and conclude are in good category. (4) learning outcomes that indicates with classical TPK completeness in good category is achieved with good overall sensitivity and sensitive, although there is a small unfinished because of the difficulty in analyzing the problem, (5) The students response of to the inquiry learning model with pictorial riddle methods is in good category. Retrieved conclusion that the physical science device which is developed are effective to improve critical thinking are students and learning outcomes learning through inquiry learning model with pictorial riddle methods.

Abstract

Penelitian ini secara umum bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dalam melalui model PBF pada pokok bahasan konsep zat. Secara khusus untuk mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan RPP model PBF, aktivitas siswa, hasil belajar siswa, dan respon siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas model Hopkins. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pemahaman konsep pada aspek translasi, aspek interpretasi, dan aspek ekstrapolasi. Hasil observasi pada pembelajaran model PBF terlaksana dengan baik dan aktivitas siswa mengarah pada student centered learning. Berdasarkan angket yang disebar menunjukkan respon siswa  terhadap pembelajaran secara umum tergolong baik. Diperoleh simpulan bahwa pemahaman konsep siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui model PBF. Kata kunci: Pemahaman konsep, model PBF, konsep zat

Abstract

Preliminary observations on the school declared students science process skills and ability to perform scientific work in the learning of physics have not been fully implemented. It can be seen from the observations of physics learning activity, interviews with physics teacher and results of student questionnaire. Guided discovery learning is a model of learning to train students in the science process skills and solving academic problem. This study used action research to describe the effectiveness of the application of the guided discovery learning model to improve students science process skills. This study has shown (1) lesson plan implementation in each cycle is verry good; (2) assessment of students science process skills increased in each cycle to be categorized verry good at the end of the cycle; (3) improvement learning outcomes student and complete; and (4) student responses is categorized as good. So concluded that the application of the guided discovery learning model in straight motion materials was effective for improving science process skills, at the same time results of learning and scientific attitude of students of class X-A  SMAN 1 Kandangan in 2012-2013.

Abstract

Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari tes awal pemahaman konsep dan angket, diketahui bahwa kegiatan pembelajaran fisika yang jarang melibatkan siswa secara aktif mengakibatkan pemahaman konsep siswa yang rendah. Dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa. Tujuan khusus penelitian: (1) keterlaksanaan RPP, (2) pemahaman konsep siswa, (3) hasil belajar siswa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran, (4) respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas.Teknik pengambilan data melalui tes pemahaman konsep, tes hasil belajar, observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi.Hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Temuan penelitian yaitu: (1) keterlaksanaan RPP selama proses pembelajaran berkatagori sangat baik dengan persentase yang meningkat yaitu 82,6%; 88,4%; 91,3%. (2) terjadi peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa pada setiap siklus dengan perolehan skor rata-rata yaitu 86,2; 104,2; 117,1. (3) terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yang signifikan, dapat dilihat dari hasil ketuntasan siswa secara klasikal yaitu 25,8%; 77,4%;  100%. (4) respon siswa selama proses pembelajaran dapat dilihat dari hasil rata-rata untuk tiap pernyataan termasuk dalam kategori baik. Diperoleh simpulan bahwa aplikasi pendekatan contextual teaching and learning dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 6 Banjarmasin pada materi usaha dan energi.

Abstract

The low of student learning outcomes in learning physics, because learning process tense, students interest to learning in science is low yet. It is necessary for research that aims to describe the effectiveness of the quantum teaching-learning development to improving student learning outcomes. The aim, in particular, are described: (1) the feasibility of the device, (2) implemented RPP, (3) student activities, (4) student learning outcomes, and (5) the students interest. Learning refers to the development using of Dick & Carey model. Data collection techniques used observation, achievement test, and questionnaire. Data obtained by descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The results showed: (1) a device in the effective category to be used, (2) implemented RPP at a meeting I, II, III are goods category, (3) each meeting student activity are increased in the excellent category, (4) increase every classical completeness meeting with percentages respectively 71.18%, 81.25% and 84.37%, (5) the students interest towards learning well categorized. The retrieved conclusion that the effectiveness of the quantum teaching-learning teaching materials elasticity in the effective category.

Abstract

Lack of student motivation in science subjects especially physics knew about 30.3% of students was not excited each subject physics, 48% of students have difficulties in learning physics, and about 24% of students find it difficult to attend classes every physics. The research aims to improve students motivation class X KORPRI Banjarmasin on the subject of straight motion through the application of the direct teaching method demonstration. The specific objective of the research is to describe the ability of teachers to manage student learning outcomes and student responses. Research subjects 21 students of class X school KORPRI Banjarmasin academic year 2012/2013. Techniques of data collection using questionnaires, observation sheets, and tests. The results of research documentation stating (1) the ability of the teacher in direct instruction on each cycle are very good (2) increase student motivation through attention aspect, relevance, confidence, and satisfaction. In the first cycle, there are aspects that are good enough attention. In the second cycle, all aspects categorized as good while the third cycle all aspects very well. (3) in the classical style in the first cycle increased by 63% (not finished), the second cycle of 85% (complete), and the third cycle of 100% (complete). (4) the response of interest in the model with the method of direct teaching demonstrations on aspects of both ARCS category on aspect attention 78%, 74.4% relevance, confidence68%, and satisfaction 72,8% class X SMAKORPRI Banjarmasin on material teaching straight motion.

Abstract

Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa terhadap pembelajaran fisika dikarenakan kurangnya variasi model dan media pembelajaran yang digunakan guru. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan model ARIAS dalammeningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Adapun tujuan secara khusus yaitu (1) Mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan RPP, (2) Mendeskripsikan hasil belajar siswa, (3) Mendeskripsikanaktivitassiswa dan (4) Mendeskripsikan respon siswa.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) ketelaksanaanRPP model pembelajaran ARIAS meningkat dimana siklus I sebesar 80% (baik), siklus II sebesar 95% (baik), dansiklus III sebesar 99% (baik); (2) hasil belajar siswa secara klasikal pada siklus I sebesar 57% (tidak tuntas), siklus II sebesar 75% (tidak tuntas), dan siklus III sebesar 88% (tuntas), (3) aktivitas siswa meliputi membaca atau mencari informasi, mendengarkan penjelasan guru, berdikusi atau kerjasama kelompok, menyampaikan pendapat kepada guru atau teman, mengajukan pertanyaan dan menjawab soal. Pada siklus I cukup aktif, siklus II aktif dan cukup aktif, dan siklus III aktif, (4) respon minat siswa mengikuti pembelajaran ARIAS meliputi attention, relevance,confidence, dan satisfactiondikategorikan baik.Diperoleh simpulan bahwa keefektifan penerapan model pembelajaran ARIAS dalam materi ajar usaha dan energi berkategori efektif.

Abstract

Lack of student learning outcomes in science subjects especially physics due to the lack of involvement or the involvement of the student during the learning process. Therefore, research aimed at improving learning outcomes through learning generative models with the contextual approach. The specific objectives of the study to describe: (1) lesson plan implementation, (2) student learning outcomes, (3) student misconceptions, (4) students response to learning generative models with the contextual approach. This research is a model TOD Hopkins consisting of three cycles. The results showed an increase (1) in the first cycle lesson plan implementation meeting 1sebesar 87% (good), the first cycle of meetings 2 by 81% (good), the second cycle is 95% (very good), the third cycle of 96.00% ( very good), (2) mastery learning outcomes of students in the classical cycle I encounter 1sebesar 54.05% (not finished), I cycle 2 meeting at 81.57% (complete), on the second cycle of 83.78% (complete) and the third cycle of 86.48% (complete), (3) misconceptions cycle I for one meeting at 27.02%, the first cycle for the meeting 2 at 52.26%, on the second cycle of 18.91%, and cycle III amounted to 13.51%, most students are difficult to analyze sums and examples, (4) students response to generative learning contextual learning approach, where the average attention (attention) amounted to 79.31% of students with a category quite well, relavace (linkage ) amounted to 77.93% of students with good category, confidence (confidence) of 71.60% of students with both categories, and satisfaction (satisfaction) for 74.13% of students with either category. Retrieved conclusion that through learning generative models with the contextual approach to improving student learning outcomes of class VII H SMP Negeri 9 Banjarmasin on the subject of heat.
