Abstract

Respondents in this study are married women who work as a household assistant. Objects in the study includeage, wages, education, the number of dependents, work intensity and income contribution. The sample in this studyamounted to 96 respondents. In this research the method used to collect information and data that is observation,interview and depth interview. Data analysis technique used is path analysis / path analysis and test sobel to analyzeindirect influence through intervening variable. The result of the research shows that age, wage, and dependenthave direct and significant influence to work intensity, and age, wage, dependent amount and amount of husband’sincome have a direct and significant effect to income contribution, and age, wage, and dependent influence indirectlyThrough work intensity variables on income contribution of married women who work as household assistants

Abstract

Adolescents are group of population that contributte in demographic bonus. This occurs when the number ofproductive ages is greater than the nonproductive. If not managed properly, demographic bonuses will result innegative effects to development. Therefore, adolescents should be equipped with useful sciences. One of them isconcerning population. Besides providing an understanding of population control, the goal is also to provide anunderstanding the maturing age of marriage. This is related to fulfilling the rights of health and reproduction foradolescents. This study discusses about knowledge, attitude, and behaviour trend of adolescents (15-24 years old)towards population seen from RPJMN Survey data (2007-2015). The result shows that adolescent knowledge aboutfertile period and pregnancy is still fluctuating. As for methods of contraceptive knowledge and the willingness touse contraceptive in the future having an increasing trend. The RPJMN survey shows most adolescents know properage of marriage and having children. The survey data trend also shows that adolescent attitudes tends to maturethe age of marriage, to plan the number of children, and to control the birth space. There is also an increase in thepercentage of adolescents who become increasingly concerned about population issues by knowing the effects ofpopulation growth and realizing the importance of government programs in regulating population growth..

Abstract

Various efforts can be made to increase household income, one of them through family contribution to theinformal sector. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of education level, marital status and thenumber of dependents on the work hour and income in the informal sector in Darmasaba village, Badung regency.Research sample is informal sector business actors, as many as 82 respondents. Sampling was done by nonprobabilitysampling, accidental and snowball sampling. The analysis technique used is path analysis with hourly working houras intervening variable. The results showed that education level, marital status and the number of dependents havea positive and significant effect on the outpouring of the working hours. The level of education, the number ofdependents and the outpouring of working hours has a positive and significant impact on income. Meanwhile, maritalstatus indicates there is no difference of income between married and unmarried status. The level of education,marital status and the number of dependents indirectly have a significant effect on income through hourly hours.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to describe: 1) the forms of resistance to family planning, 2) underlying factorsfactorsof resistance, 3) resistance impact, and 4) the strategy to overcome the resistance. The study used adescriptive explanatory. This study was conducted In Midle Kalimantan at March-may 2016. Data were collectedusing participatory observation, interview, and documentation. Research objects are: persons, concept, place, andactivities. Verification of data was done by credibility, transferability, dependability, and comfirmability criteriaData were analyzed using four qualitative research phases of Miles and Hubermann, namely data collection, datareduction, data classification, and making conclusions. Based on the research results, in general it can be concludedthat: 1) the forms of resistance area to family planning begins with budget restrictions, 2) underlying factors-factorsof resistance is due to the regional autonomy that gives authority to the regions to create development priorities,3) resistance impact is increasing the population growth figures significantly, and 4)the strategy to overcome theresistance area that it needs to have intense coordination between central and local. family planning programsreceived maximum support from the region.

Abstract

Net income is one of the factors that affecting the growth of Koperasi (national micro finance business inIndonesia). Even if profit is not the main purpose of it business, but Koperasi needed to improve its businesscapability. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of the number of members, owned capital, externalcapital, business volume and assets to the Sisa Hasil Usaha (SHU) in Denpasar. The research method used in thisresearch is using secondary data, which is come from financial report of Koperasi in Denpasar in 2015 to 2017.The sample was 92 collected by purposive sampling technique. Data analysis technique used in this research ismultiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the variable owned capital, business volume andassets have a positive effect on the SHU. In contrast, total members and total assets were not significantly effecton SHU because they have a level of significance greater than 0.05.

Abstract

Small industry has a very important role in the Province of Bali, especially in the city of Denpasar in providingemployment opportunities for the community. The development of this small industry will reduce unemployment andpoverty. The purpose of this study is to analyze 1) The influence of wage and technology level on work productivity2) Effect of wage rate, technology and work productivity on labor absorption 3) Indirect influence of wage andtechnology level on labor absorption through work productivity. This research was conducted in Denpasar Citywith respondents of wooden furniture industry entrepreneurs covering 4 subdistricts namely North Denpasar, EastDenpasar, South Denpasar and West Denpasar. Objects in this study include wage rates, technology, work productivityand employment. The sample in this study amounted to 104 respondents. The sample technique used is probabilitysampling or simple random sampling. Data collection methods used in this study include observation, questionnairesand in-depth interviews. Data analysis technique used is path analysis / path analysis and test of sobel to analyzeindirect influence through intervening variable. Based on the research results obtained conclusion that the level ofwages and technology postive and significant influence on the productivity of wood furniture industry desk work.Variable wage rate, technology and work productivity have a positive and significant effect to the absorption oflabor of wooden table furniture industry in Denpasar City. Work productivity variable is the variable of mediationof indirect influence of variable of wage rate and technology to the absorption of labor in wooden furniture industryin Denpasar City. Suggestion from this research entrepreneurs have the policy of giving the right incentive or bonusto the workforce so as to increase the production.
