Abstract

This research applying learning media Monosa (monopoli bahasa) based on the child's independence in the classroom. Research and development (RnD) aims to describe the prototype instructional media monosa independence based on elementary students. Based on the analysis to the needs of the draft obtained monosa products, namely media that not only disposable and made of material that is waterproof, medium-sized and can be placed on the table. Learning media containing material that is diverse and covers all aspects of language skills. Media with images that vary according to the material Indonesian elementary school fourth grade. Based on the validation results showed that the learning media Monosa fit for use. It can be used by learners, learning media can also create an atmosphere of fun and do not saturate because the learning is done with playing. After revisions based test experts, media monosa tested in small classes. Monosa showed that the media has the effectiveness, the efficiency, and has appeal to users. Based on observations made during the study, the media is capable of providing meaningfulness in learning, which enhances the value of the character's ability to work together, sportsmanship, the activity of individual students, student independence, critical thinking, and caring.Keywords: application, media monopoly of the language, elementary students.

Abstract

This research is experimental research in the research design is pretest-posttest control group design to find out the influence of open-ended approach on creative-mathematic thinking skill of student's grade V SD.  The population of this research is all student's grade V of SD considering middle-group category based on the average score on a mathematics national exam at SD/MI level in the entire Rancakalong region. Meanwhile, the samples of this research are SDN Pasirbenteng II as experimental group and SDN Pasirbiru as a control group. The instruments in this research consist of test, affective scale, observation format of teachers’ performance, observation format of students’ activities and interview. The result from this research proves that learning using the open-ended approach can significantly increase a creative mathematic thinking of student's grade V SD. It can be seen from the findings of data analysis. Based on the research, students’ response to mathematics learning using open-ended tends to show a positive response that means students have good tendency of interest and enthusiasm to the learning. Thus, it can be concluded that open-ended is one of the solutions to increase creative - mathematic thinking skill of student's grade V SD. Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence the use of media-based discovery method's realities of the learning outcomes during the course Basic Concepts IPA 1 when compared to those taught using direct instruction-based Power Point (PPT). This research is a quantitative type of experiment using a quasi-experimental method (Quasi-Experimental Design). Experimental Design). Design research is the Control Group Pre-test Post-test. Populations of this study were all students of PGSD FKIP UNS second semester of academic year 2013/2014. Cluster Random Sampling is used in sampling. The technique of collecting data through observation, documentation, and testing. The data analysis technique used is the prerequisite test data analysis and hypothesis testing. For prerequisite test, including normality test with chip-square method and homogeneity test methods Bartlett. Based on the analysis of t test showed the t count> t table (3.599> 2.001), so that H0 is rejected. Thus there is a positive impact on learning outcomes of the course the basic concepts of science one-second semester students are taught using methods of discovery-based media reality. Conclusions This study is the result of learning the basic concepts of science subject 1 student taught by media-based discovery method's realities better than students taught by direct instruction-based power point.Keywords: discovery, media reality, learning outcomes, basic concepts IPA.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine and describe the influence of first language to the second language contained in essay fourth-grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Bandar Lampung. The method used is a descriptive method. Data analysis technique that is used is composed test data analysis to determine the level of use under the influence of the first language to the second language in an essay fourth-grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Bandar Lampung The populations in this study were all fourth-grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Bandar Lampung totaling 25 students. Sample of this research is sample population. In the concocted test data analysis fourth-grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Bandar Lampung there is the influence of first language in the essay by 55.05%. This means that the influence of Lampung language in a fourth-grade student essay Muhammadiyah 1 Bandar Lampung, Lampung language otherwise low.Keywords: the influence of first language, second language, an essay the students.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is  (1) to improve the social skill of elementary school students, (2) finding adequate instructional design model to improve students’ social skill. The research is conducted at the  classroom action research consists of two cycles, every cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The average value of Social Skills students in a cycle one is 62.01 and 72.52 in the two cycles.  The percentage asset value  in the classical mastery of social skills is 40% in cycle 1 and 85.85% in cycle 2. Based on the result, the conclusions are: 1) Model cooperative learning with experiential learning approach, can improve students' social skills.  (2) Instructional design to improve the social skills of students in learning social study is a model of cooperative learning with experiential learning approach.Keywords: cooperative model, experiental learning, social skill.

Abstract

The aims of the research are: a). to describe the necessary analysis hand’s book of Lampung local history for elementary school level, and b). to describe the formulation of a local Lampung history hand’s books that has as a base culture. The methodology of the research that used was Research and development that used to get to result in the hand book model that develops is the hands' book oh historical subject, especially the local history for elementary school level that has as a base Lampung culture. From the result of necessary data analysis from interviewed with teachers and student's questionnaire, it can be described the require of hands book exists: tradition, the art of tradition (include: dance, sculpture, and music), historic place, habit and life philosophy, kinship, legend, The government system (kingdom, sultanate), patriot and heroism, language, local historical event of colonialism, local historical event of independence, local historical event after independence, local historical event of contemporary, and Lampung's historiography in media.Keywords: necessary analysis, hand book of Lampung local history, elementary school, base culture.

Abstract

The background of this research is importance of mastering social skills by elementary school students, both of which entered formal education (kindergarten) or informal education (family). The research objective is obtaining students' social skills profiles based on preschool educational background (kindergarten and non-kindergarten). The study was conducted in elementary schools Cijerokaso 1 and 2 Bandung using a quantitative approach and descriptive study method. The results have shown: (1) profile of social skills of elementary school students with a kindergarten background in general is at high qualifications and social skills profile of elementary school students with a non kindergarten background in general are at high and medium qualifications; (2) There is no difference in terms of average social skills between elementary school students with kindergarten background and elementary school students with non kindergarten background, either in general or by each category.Keywords: social skills, elementary school student, preschool educational background.

Abstract

Teachers are professional educators who are bound by the four competencies (pedagogical, professional, personal, and social. In the study of Islamic education competence is referred to as personal-religious and professional-religious. In an attempt to give birth to a teacher who has a personal competency-religious then one way that can be achieved is through the one Day one Juz (ODOJ). ODOJ is a program of recitations of the Quran one day one juz, so that the activities of recitations through this program will be able to finish Al-Quran at least one a month. This program will provide impact (atsar) for everyone's perpetrators. Including teachers, elementary school teachers are expected to figure there are teachers who have the Qur'anic morality.Keywords: personal-religious, professional-religious, One Day One Juz (ODOJ).

Abstract

Development of learning innovations embodied in the learning model into the main needs within the education system in order to shape the character of qualified students. There are many models of learning that can shape the character of students. The learning models which are considered to establish the character among the students are developed based on an international school-based International Baccalaureate (IB) which Trandisciplinary or trans disciplinary learning model. Trans disciplinary model is considered to be most able to form the character of the students because it integrates various disciplines of science to create an understanding of the whole. The method used in this research is a survey research with quantitative research approaches. As for the population in this study are all teachers who exist in the International Primary School-Based IB in Bandung. The results showed that the learning model Trandisciplinary positive and significant impact on the character among the students. Second correlation value is at a high position.Keywords: trans disciplinary learning model, character students, and the international baccalaureate.

Abstract

The role of technology, especially information technology in Indonesia in the building society XXI century. Indonesia has begun to enter the stage of the telematics community will certainly have a major impact on all levels of life of the Indonesian nation, especially in children. The emergence of a great revolution throughout the world of children's playground, Internet presence replaces the open airy space for children's play, besides presenting impression's Internet pornography and violence can harm the development of children's personality. Sexual deviance behavior at the level of schooling is quite surprising, of course. This is a challenge for education and should be used as a rationale for the need for innovation in learning. Things into consideration are for this. Sex education in early childhood is considered taboo in society. Guru is one of the determining factors of high and low quality of education has a strategic position in transforming sex education to learners. Therefore, this study tries to analyze how perceptions of teachers on sex education at the primary school level, the research method used is a descriptive method.Keywords: Perception of teachers, sex education, learners in primary schools.
