Abstract

This study aims at determining the extent to which aspects of scientific literacy that consist of science as a body knowledge, science as the way of investigating, science as the way of thinking, and interaction among of science technology and society presented in the teacher book . The source of research data is an integrated thematic teacher book grade IV theme 3 concerned about the living creatures. The research study uses descriptive analysis to describe the aspects of scientific literacy. The analysis uses instruments that adopted from Chiapetta, Sethna and Filman in Padayache. The result of the analysis showed that two important findings: 1) aspect of science as a body of knowledge having the highest percentage of the three aspects; 2) Not all of indicators of the aspects found in the teacher book guide. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to obtain the learning device (syllabus, lesson plans, and student worksheet) integrated character education using 3M strategy (Knowing Moral, Moral Feeling, and Moral Action) on the curriculum in 2013, and look at the effectiveness of the learning device for shaping the character of the participants learners. The study design used was a quasi-experimental control grouph pre test-post test. This research was conducted in SDN 3 Klangenan and SDN 1 Sumber to fourth grade students. The effectiveness of the learning device is made to be seen from the results of student learning, character assessment, student response to learning. Based on these data we can conclude the application of learning curriculum 3M 2013 using effective strategies to improve students' character.Keywords: character education, curriculum 2013, 3M strategy.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of integrated thematic learning curriculum themes and 2013 by using the model of traditional games as learning a fun, active, effective and meaningful for students. There are many students who believe that learning in school was just learning in the classroom rigid and monotonous so that students difficult to understand the concept of the teacher taught the material that causes the results low student learning and learning becomes ineffective. Purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the existing models in the game Boy-Boyan integrated thematic learning on learning outcomes theme of "Me". Based on the analysis of data obtained by the price of hypothesis testing tcount 8078 and amounted to 2,021 t table. Because of tcound > t table or 8,078 > 2,021 then Ho is rejected or it can be said that the difference in average initial conditions to the final conditions significantly. The conclusions is there is effectivenes of the models Boy-boyan games in integrated thematic learning in learning outcomes theme of "me" grade 1 SDN Pandeanlamper 5 Semarang.Keywords: boy-boyan game model, the result of studying the theme of “me”.

Abstract

The purpose of this research detailed as follows: describe the optimization of the formation of character values in school age children through dance Beskalan semiotic in Malang derby dance studio, dance semiotic determine the influence that proxy Beskalan into Dimension Icon, Index and Dimensions symbol of the establishment character values in school age children Dancing in Malang, knowing the dimensions of the most influential on the formation of character values in school age children in the dance studio in the city of Malang. Test the hypothesis that the function t test is used to determine the effect of partially between the independent variable (x) with variable (y). To determine the effect of simultaneously between the dependent variable with the independent variable F. Both trials used the t test and F test used 5% significance level. Abstract

Dalam Kurikulum 2006, di Sekolah Dasar, pembelajaran sastra dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa mengapresiasi karya sastra. Kegiatan mengapresiasi sastra berkaitan dengan latihan mempertajam perasaan, penalaran, daya khayal, serta kepekaan terhadap masyarakat, budaya dan lingkungan hidup. Pengembangan kemampuan bersastra di sekolah dasar dilakukan dalam berbagai jenis dan bentuk melalui kegiatan mendengarkan, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis. Namun dalam Kurikulum 2013, kegiatan bersastra, kurang mendapat porsi yang baik. Padahal pendekatan kurikulum tersebut mengisyaratkan penekanannya pada pengembangan sikap dan budi pekerti, yang tentu saja sastra sebagai bahan yang sangat kaya untuk dijadikan landasan mengasah kepribadian dan budi pekerti mengingat sastra mengandung nilai personal maupun nilai pendidikan yang luar biasa. Hasil analisisKompetensi Dasar pada Permendikbud No 57 Tahun 2014, di kelas I ada teks cerita diri, kelas II cerita narasi dan lirik puisi, di kelas III dongeng, di kelas IV cerita petualangan dan pantun serta syair, di kelas V, fiksi sejarah, hal tersebut tentunya berpengaruh pada isi Buku Guru dan Buku Siswa, yang ternyata memperlihatkan sastra yang tercakup dalam isi buku kurang memadai (sangat kurang), karena isi Buku Guru maupun Buku Siswa, turunan dari Kompetensi Dasar yang sudah dipetakan secara tematik integratif.

Abstract

This paper examines one of the main teachers' competence, ie pedagogical competence of teachers who have been certified educators in Sumedang district. This type of research is a survey research with descriptive-quantitative method. The population was 592 certified teachers in the district of North and South Sumedang, with a sample of 60 teachers. Data collected through questionnaire (Likert scale) on the respondent one (R1) is a certified teacher of 60 people, two respondents (R2) are colleagues who have not been certified 60 people, and three respondents (R3) is the principal of 60 people, so total respondents amounted to 180 people. Processing and data analysis was performed using SPSS 16 through frequency analysis and correlation. The results stated that the average pedagogical competence of teachers at the GOOD category, with the acquisition value of 3.02 (75.48%). However, when seen by the results of the correlation answer, where answer between R1 and R2 are many significant / agree, but the answers are not many significant R3 / contrary, it can be concluded that the average pedagogical abilities certified teacher educators in Sumedang district, is in the category ENOUGH based on answers from 150 respondents (84.3%), and is in the category GOOD based on answers from 28 respondents (15.7%). Abstract

Lack of concentration learned in grade IV Elementary School N 01 Tegorejo due to the learning process is still given over monotonous so easily bored students in learning activities, and the lack of use of the environment as a medium of learning were encountered in the learning process. An environment where learning can simultaneously be used as a study material which has many benefits. Management and efficient utilization of the environment can produce a product that teaching has a high educational level. Based on these problems GAYANGHETUM media can be used as an alternative to learning. This type of research is the Research and Development is the development of instructional media. Media GAYANGHETUM is the development of an effective puppet media for use in learning. Analysis of test media expert GAYANGHETUM feasibility level by 90%, feasibility of matter 88.33%, and 91.48% was obtained from a questionnaire students who agree GAYANGHETUM media used in the study.Keywords: media gayanghetum, integrated thematic learning, class IV semester 1 elementary school.

Abstract

National education is still experiencing difficulties in producing quality graduates, skilled, and creative that can serve as a driving source in various fields of development. And outputs the result of education is often a burden on the government to meet their needs for social services, employment, subsidies, and the like. They pass and emerge as new citizens who are not able to offer a solution, but rather a source of trouble and anxiety community. One source of problems in education is still weak education that can cultivate the essential values of humanity. Where today there has been a separation between "intellectual education" with "educational value". This dichotomy shows the smallness of the mind, because the moral value is not different from the intellectual dimension, but is the foundation for intellectual growth. It is necessary for the implementation of a curriculum that is based on the improvement of the competence-based character education aside from it in the process of implementation should be in accordance with how to implement character education. Abstract

This study aims to determine the chemical literacy of primary school teachers and students on the theme PGSD air. The method used is descriptive method, the research subjects totaling 61 people, 41 people came from PGSD students and 20 people from elementary school teachers. The instrument used is a matter of chemistry literacy tests are 40 multiple -choice questions that include reason or other information to strengthen the answers given, questionnaires, and interviews. Data processing techniques performed included determination of the limits of chemical literacy achievement, scoring each question,changing the score values, grouping study subjects based on the values obtained, and the analysis and conclusions. From the research data showed that only 26 people (63.41 %) students who have achieved literacy PGSD chemistry, whereas only 10 elementary school teachers (50 %) who had reached chemical literacy. Literacy chemical that has not reached most of the research subject primarily determine the chemical formula of constituent gases of air and to write the equation.Keywords: PGSD students, elementary science teachers, science literacy, literacy chemistry, descriptive method.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the professional competence of elementary school teachers certified in Sumedang district. The study was conducted in the form of a survey in urban areas Sumedang district with a population of 592 elementary school teachers and 60 teachers certified as research samples. Total Respondents are 180 people consisting of 60 persons certified elementary school teachers, 60 peers who have not been certified, and 60 principals who captured data through questionnaires. Data were processedand analyzed with the rating scale measurement techniques and SPSS 16, and obtained the following results: 1) rating scale analysis results indicate that the professional competence of certified teachers in the Sumedang district, four aspects are in the ENOUGH category and one aspect is in the LESS category, and 2) the results of the attitude scale analysis using SPSS 16 shows that the professional competence of certified teachers in the Sumedang district are in GOOD category, but this condition isfar from the PROFESSIONAL category. Penelitian dilakukan dalam bentuk survei dengan populasi sebanyak 592 guru SD tersertifikasi dan 60 guru sebagai sampel penelitian yang berada pada kawasan perkotaan kabupaten Sumedang. Responden berjumlah 180 orang yang terdiri atas 60 orang guru SD tersertifikasi, 60 orang teman sejawat yang belum tersertifikasi, dan 60 orang kepala sekolah yang diambil datanya melalui angket. Data diolah dan dianalisis dengan teknik pengukuran rating scale dan program SPSS 16, dan didapatkan hasil sebagai berikut: 1) hasil analisis rating scale menunjukan bahwa kompetensi profesional guru tersertifikasi di kabupaten Sumedang, empat aspek berada pada kategori ‘CUKUP’ dan satu aspek berada pada kategori ‘KURANG’, dan 2) hasil analisis skala sikap dengan menggunakan program SPSS 16 menunjukan bahwa pada umumnya guru tersertifikasi di kabupaten Sumedang tergolong pada kategori ‘BAIK’, namun kondisi ini masih jauh dari kategori ‘PROFESIONAL’.
