Abstract

This research was conducted on trade operations department at Bank OCBC NISP. The measurement and scope of the analysis was conducted on the activities of trade operations employees. The transactions measured in this study is the LC issuance. The purpose of this study was to identify the process of handling import LC issuance done by the trade operations in the Bank OCBC NISP, determine what policies can be used to improve the performance of employees in the trade operations Bank OCBC NISP and designing productivity measurement for bank employees in the trade operations Bank OCBC NISP. Improvement of the operational side is done by using the Value Stream Mapping (VSM) which can be identified several non-value added activities that need to be repaired. This improvement raises employee performance from producing 8 to 11 LC per day. Policy decisions were analyzed based on the analytic network process (ANP) method. The analysis shows that by implementing productivity-based compensation system is a top priority with the priority weight 42,69%. While the improvement of work processes is a second priority with a 36,72% weighting priority. For the final order of priority is the preparation of appropriate targets and key performance indicator (KPI) with priority weight of 20,57%. Based on the analysis of ANP then implement productivity-based compensation systems provide the highest benefits and opportunities compared to the risks that may arise. Productivity-based compensation will motivate employees to improve productivity in order to get better compensation than employees with lower productivity.Keywords: LC, ANP, employee performance improvement, trade operations, VSMABSTRAKPenelitian ini  dilakukan pada  trade  operations department di Bank OCBC NISP. Pengukuran dan lingkup analisis akan dilakukan terhadap aktivitas karyawan trade operations. Transaksi yang diukur pada penelitian ini yaitu penerbitan LC. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah  mengidentifikasi proses penanganan dokumen LC yang dilakukan oleh bagian trade operations di Bank OCBC NISP, menentukan kebijakan apa saja yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan bagian trade operations Bank OCBC NISP dan merancang bangun pengukuran produktivitas bagi hasil karyawan bagian trade operations Bank OCBC NISP. Perbaikan dari sisi operasional dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Value Stream Mapping (VSM) dimana dapat diidentifikasi beberapa aktivitas non value added yang perlu diperbaiki. Perbaikan menggunakan VSM mampu meningkatkan kinerja karyawan dari sebelumnya menghasilkan 8 LC menjadi 11 LC per hari. Proses pengambilan kebijakan akan dilakukan berdasarkan metode analytic network process (ANP). Hasil analisa menunjukkan bahwa dengan menerapkan sistem kompensasi berbasis produktivitas merupakan prioritas utama dengan bobot prioritas 42,69%. Sedangkan perbaikan proses kerja merupakan prioritas kedua dengan bobot prioritas 36,72%. Untuk urutan prioritas terakhir adalah penyusunan target dan key performance indicator (KPI) yang tepat dengan bobot prioritas sebesar 20,57%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis ANP maka menerapkan sistem kompensasi berbasis produktivitas memberikan keuntungan dan peluang yang paling tinggi dibandingkan dengan resiko yang mungkin timbul. Kompensasi berbasis produktivitas akan memotivasi karyawan untuk berlomba-lomba meningkatkan produktivitasnya untuk mendapatkan kompensasi yang lebih baik dibandingkan karyawan dengan produktivitas yang lebih rendah. Abstract

The purposes of this study were to identify the influence of job demands, job resources and personal resources toward work engagement, define the best predictors of work engagement and the influence of work engagement towards turnover intention. Structural equation modeling was used in this research to estimate the influence of variables simultaneously. This research was conducted to 116 samples of manufacturing employees. The results showed that job demands have direct effect to work engagement. Job demands and personal resources are significant predictors of work engagement. Personal resources are the best predictor of work engagement. Work engagement itself has negative and significant influence to turnover intention. Alat analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah structural equation modeling (SEM). SEM digunakan untuk mengestimasi pengaruh variabel secara simultan. Abstract

This research has the aim to analyze the factors which give impact in ratio of NPL (Non Performing Loan) in XYZ Bank Jakarta. NPL can be caused by the internal factors such as policies, human capitals, etc., and can be caused by external factors through macro-economic changes such as loan-outstanding, BI rate, and foreign exchange (Indonesia Rupiah to US Dollar). This research is a descriptive research with direct approach to the primary and secondary data. The analysis method was using the multiple linear regression method with data time series from June 2008 to June 2014. The multiple linear regression method was used to see the impacts of volume of loan-outstanding, BI rate, and foreign exchange to NPL ratio, and testing differences between level of NPL before and after the separation of RM (Relationship Manager) and CA (Credit Analyst) function in Bank XYZ Jakarta.  All of data processing steps in this research use software Eviews Version 6.0. The result of this research are Loan-outstanding or number of lending, foreign exchange and the dummy of RM and CA separation function have impact to NPL Ratio. The BI-rate change which was happened along the research gives no impact to NPL Ratio. The NPL Ratio is relatively better and it is not affected of the increasing of BI rate.  It is not only because of performing loans but also caused by the existing write-off portfolios. NPL (Non Performing Loan) dapat disebabkan oleh faktor internal seperti kebijakan, SDM, dan lainnya ataupun faktor eksternal melalui perubahan faktor makroekonomi, seperti variabel loans outstanding, BI Rate, dan nilai tukar Rupiah terhadap Dollar. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk penelitian deskriptif dengan pengamatan langsung terhadap data sekunder dan data primer. Analisis data yang digunakan dengan menggunakan metode analisis regresi linear berganda yang menggunakan data time series periode Juni 2008–Juni 2014. Metode analisis regresi linear berganda digunakan untuk melihat pengaruh jumlah penyaluran kredit/loans outstanding, BI Rate, dan nilai tukar terhadap ratio NPL serta menguji perbedaan tingkat NPL sebelum dan setelah adanya pemisahan fungsi RM (Relationship Manager) dan CA (Credit Analyst)  di Bank XYZ Jakarta. Semua tahap pengolahan data penelitian ini menggunakan alat perangkat lunak Eviews Versi 6.0. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh hasil bahwa Loans outstanding atau besarnya kredit, nilai tukar atau kurs serta dummy pemisahan fungsi RM dan CA memiliki pengaruh terhadap ratio NPL. Perubahan BI Rate yang terjadi selama penelitian tidak berpengaruh terhadap ratio NPL. Ratio NPL terlihat relatif lebih baik dan tidak terpengaruh terhadap kenaikan BI rate, hal tersebut tidak semata-mata karena portepel kredit yang baik, melainkan adanya fasilitas kredit yang dihapus buku.  Kata kunci: NPL, loans outstanding, BI Rate, nilai tukar, pemisahan fungsi RM, credit analyst

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze factors that directly and indirectly affecting employee performance in Directorate General of Higher Education Ministry of Education and Culture, as well as analyze the dominant factors that influence. The data in this study was obtained by distributing questionnaires to 75 civil servants through a quota sampling technique. Data analysis includes correlation analysis and analysis of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach Partial Least Square (PLS). Latent variables in this study are individual factors, psychological factors, organizational factors and the performance of civil servants. The results showed that individual factors, psychological factors and organizational factors directly affect the performance of civil servants. Individual factors also influence indirectly to the performance of civil servants through psychological factors, while organizational factors do not influence indirectly through psychological factors. Individual factors are the dominant factor affecting the performance of civil servants.Keywords: civil servants performance, individual factor, psychologic, organization, PLSABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kinerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil di Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung serta menganalisis faktor dominan yang berpengaruh. Data pada penelitian ini diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 75 PNS melalui teknik penarikan sampel kuota. Analisis data yang digunakan meliputi analisis korelasi dan analisis Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan pendekatan Partial Least Square (PLS). Variabel laten pada penelitian ini adalah faktor individu, faktor psikologi, faktor organisasi dan kinerja PNS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor individu, faktor psikologi dan faktor organisasi berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap kinerja PNS. Faktor individu juga berpengaruh secara tidak langsung terhadap kinerja PNS melalui faktor psikologi, sedangkan faktor organisasi tidak berpengaruh secara tidak langsung melalui faktor psikologi. Faktor individu merupakan faktor dominan yang berpengaruh terhadap kinerja PNS.Kata Kunci: kinerja PNS faktor individu, faktor psikologi, faktor organisasi, PLS

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the corporate culture application effect on work motivation, and employee performance at PT. Rekayasa Industri. The sampling was collected using purposive sampling technique. Explanatory Factor Analysis (EFA)was  used in the research as culture corporate variables test and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA)  for each variable validation indicators. The test of hypotheses corporate culture that influence on work motivation and employee performance is done by using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The result of this research shows a significant effect on work motivation, performance and motivation on performance of corporate culture. There is still a difference between the important value in the field, corporate culture that should sipposed to be professional, innovation and team work and the most real implement is concern  for people, professional and focus on customer. Based on the average value of the score and a load factor of  SEM motivation variable, the   intrinsic motivation should be prioritized, but in fact extrinsic motivation and performance factors should prioritize conceptual abilities, but in reality the best  implementation is technical ability. This study is also to conduct explanatory to 6 core value of the company culture that has been formulated, in order to know whether the determination of the six core values are in accordance with the rules of statistics that can be used further for scientific research. Rekayasa Industri. Teknik pengambilan contoh yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Pengujian variabel budaya perusahan menggunakan Explanatory Factor Analysis (EFA), sedangkan untuk melihat validitas indikator dari masing-masing variabel menggunakan Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). Pengujian hipotesis pengaruh budaya perusahaan terhadap motivasi kerja dan kinerja karyawan dilakukan dengan menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Hasil penelitian disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada budaya perusahaan terhadap motivasi kerja, budaya perusahaan terhadap kinerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja. Terdapat perbedaan antara nilai yang dianggap penting di lapangan, budaya perusahaan seharusnya mementingkan professional, dan innovation dan team work tapi dalam realitasnya adalah concern for people, professional dan focus on customer. Berdasarkan nilai rataan skor dan faktor muatan SEM variabel motivasi seharusnya memprioritaskan  motivasi intrinsik, tetapi kenyataanya motivasi ekstrinsik dan faktor kinerja seharusnya memprioritaskan kemampuan konseptual, tetapi dalam kenyataanya pelaksanaan paling baik adalah kemampuan teknis . Penelitian ini juga untuk melakukan eksplanatori  terhadap 6 nilai inti budaya perusahaan  yang telah dirumuskan, agar dapat diketahui apakah penetapan keenam nilai inti tersebut sudah sesuai dengan kaidah statistik sehingga dapat digunakan lebih lanjut untuk kepentingan penelitian ilmiah.Kata kunci: budaya perusahaan, kinerja karyawan, motivasi kerja, CFA, SEM

Abstract

The aims of this study were to evaluate the strategy execution system that has been carried out by Bapertarum-PNS, to evaluate the external and internal conditions influencing the Bapertarum-PNS in increasing the amount of Housing Saving distribution, to formulate alternative strategies to increase the amount of Housing Saving distribution, to determine strategic priorities of Bapertarum-PNS in increasing the Housing Saving fund for the civil servants, and formulate a strategic execution plan of Bapertarum-PNS in carrying out the planned strategic priorities. This study used the analysis of internal and external factors, SWOT analysis to determine alternative strategies and used QSPM to search for strategic priorities and their execution stage using the strategic execution system of Kaplan and Norton. The values of IFE and EFE at Bapertarum-PNS are located in quadrant IV that is in the position of Growing and Developing. The position shows that the most effective effort to increase housing is establishing a strategy of product development. Determination of strategic prioritization generates priorities in order to increase the support value of home financing, develop new products and services, expand information services reaching across Indonesia, implement incentive mechanism for employees, expand cooperation with banking executives, promote the formation of law on Bapertarum-PNS as well as to improve coordination with stakeholders of Bapertarum- PNS.Keywords: Bapertarum-PNS, housing, priority strategy, strategy executionAbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi sistem eksekusi strategi yang sudah dilakukan oleh Bapertarum-PNS, mengevaluasi kondisi ekternal dan internal yang memengaruhi Bapertarum-PNS dalam meningkatkan jumlah penyaluran Tabungan Perumahan, merumuskan alternatif strategi dalam meningkatkan jumlah penyaluran Tabungan Perumahan, menentukan prioritas strategi Bapertarum-PNS dalam meningkatkan penyaluran dana Tabungan Perumahan PNS, serta merumuskan rencana eksekusi strategi Bapertarum-PNS untuk menjalankan prioritas strategi yang telah direncanakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis faktor internal dan eksternal, kemudian analisis SWOT, untuk menentukan alternatif strateginya dan menggunakan QSPM guna mencari prioritas strategi serta tahap eksekusinya menggunakan sistem eksekusi strategi Kaplan dan Norton. Hasil nilai IFE dan EFE posisi Bapertarum-PNS terletak pada kuadran IV yaitu posisi Tumbuh dan Kembangkan. Posisi tersebut menunjukan bahwa upaya peningkatan penyaluran dana bantuan perumahan yang paling efekif adalah melakukan strategi pengembangan produk. Penentuan prioritas strategi menghasilkan prioritas peningkatkan nilai bantuan pembiayaan rumah, mengembangkan produk dan layanan baru, perluasan layanan informasi menjangkau seluruh indonesia, menerapkan mekanisme insentif bagi karyawan, perluasan kerjasama dengan perbankan pelaksana, mendorong pembentukan UU tentang Bapertarum-PNS serta peningkatan koordinasi dengan stakeholders Bapertarum-PNS.Kata kunci: Bapertarum-PNS, perumahan, prioritas strategi, eksekusi strategi
