Abstract

This study is aimed to find out the composition, structure, and the ecological value of the types of trees in the exploitation zone of the National Wasur Park. The method used was square method, documentation, and literary study. Type variety index of Shannon-Wiener was employed to determine the variety types of the trees. The result of the research and data analysis showed that at the big tree category there were 16 types, 8 families, and 76 individuals. Meanwhile, at the small tree category, there were 12 types, 8 families, and 71 individuals. Analyzing the height structure, it was found out that Lophostemon lactifluus (F. Muell) Peter G. Wilson & J.T. Waterh (INP 54.74%) was the highest INP at the big tree category. Meanwhile, at the small tree category, the highest INP was Planchonia careya (F. Muell) R. Knuth (INP 68.82%). Therefore, the vegetation in the exploitation zone was considered as the Lophostemon lactifluus (F. Muell) Peter G. Wilson & J.T. Waterh and Planchonia careya (F. Muell) R. Knuth. The type variety index (H’) at the big tree and the small tree category were 2.43 and 2.9 respectively. These indexes were considered low. The ecological values of the forest were as the water diffusion area, system prop of life, and habitat of some animals such as various insect types, mammals and birds. Abstract

Construction of farm groups are more directed to an application of agribusiness system, improvement role, farmer participation with other villagers by improving the corporation between group farm members as weel as the corporation among the farm groups in order to improving their farm produce. Beside that, constructing and developing the dynamic of the groups are expected to help finding the potential, finding the more effectively agricultural solutions for the farm group and easier way to access market information, technology information, financial and other sources information. Good corporation between the group members and also between the groups is the most important thing in reaching the goal which is raising up the farm production. With good corporation also can handle any kinds of conflict between the group member and also between the groups.

Abstract

The Pandanus conoideus Lamk. as a source of oil . The ekstrack get from Pandanus conoideus Lamk. oil. Although the function of pasta in estract still not maximum. Function of pasta still limited and usually use for animal food and sometimes we didn’t use anymore pasta ekstrack oil still contain oil so it is gessing contain beta –karoten and have a smooth texture and it is important to make jam. The poupouse from this research is experimentation method. This research consists of one way to formulate the jam. The arrangement using complete random,consist of this research, we can conclude that jam formulation.From the result of this research ,we can conclude that jam formulation pandanus conoideus lank wich the writer prefers is F4 that contain of composition pasta 41,03 %, sugar 37,30 % (pasta ,sugar;55% :45 % gelatin 0,10 % sitrate acid 0,10 % essence cocopandan 0,2 % and water 25% with the range of the colours score 3,9 (netral-like). Gelatin as stabiliter for the best jam from pandanus conoideuslank and lowerstabilizer because the ability gel form and thigten water during heating compare with pectin. Key words : buah merah, selai, ekstraksi.

Abstract

Pest attack in plant agriculture can damage plants or failed harvest. To handle damage in plant need to protect the plant from damage from the several way to handle the pest we can done. The farmers on focus to use the pesticide several product in research showing the damage in happened in environment. Because they use of pesticide, residue in chemistry product if we consume can get bad effect for the human being and animal. If we compare with the other way the used other non chemistry pesticide is the best way to use by farmer. Because the kinds of pesticide can be made by the farmer themselves, beside that the used of pesticide isn’t damage in environment. The application technique is not different if the farmer used chemistry pesticide, that’s using the way of spreading. Keywords : pengandalian hama tanaman, biopestisida.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the chemical content of biomass and compost of the aquatic plants (Pistia stratiotes L.) at the Wasur village, Merauke. Benefits to be gained by the study is obtaining information about the content of the proximate and organic matter of Pistia plants at the Wasur village, so the function can be optimized. The results of chemical content of biomass and compost Pistia showed that plants have the potential to be used as feed additives for monogastric livestock, especially cattle as well as additional materials for composting.

Abstract

The purpose of research is the comparison between body and percentage of charkas also percentage others parts like charkas bandicoot child and adult. The result of this research we hope that can be use as the first information and try to take care for animal and future. This research need one month to finished start from February,19-2007 until march 19-2007 in Kelapa Lima District - Merauke.Observed the variable is ability of body, percentage charkas and percentage parts of charkas (% high, % breast, % back bone,% back high) . Abstract

Assesment was conducted to determine the influence of the use of local feed about carcass quality, growth and efficiency the cost of the chicken conservation. Assesment was done by using descriptive analysis of the 30 chickens that were divided to 4 treatment. Analysis were perfomed using the questioner, observation and weighing, while the cost analysis obtained by calculating the cost of production and income. Results from this assesment indicates that the quality of carcass, growth and cost efficiency are best seen in the treatment chickens group 2, used combination of local food and feed from the outside.

Abstract
