Abstract

Full day school comes from English Language. It means that full day school is a school which held in a day or education program that the activities held in school from morning to afternoon. The essential  meaning of full day school is not only add the time and give more learning materials. This policy raise pros and cons between education expert and the society as a subject and object in education. Nevertheless in the perspective of local wisdom, this program is one of institution which can solve moral decline in the country, since in fact it also apply the comprehensive teaching and learning activity. The discourse about FDS has got people’s attention, even it become polemic pros and cons among society, although the purpose of FDS is to built the better students’ character, it also help students’ parents who work full in a day and do not have time to handle their children, and parents able to prevent students’ activity from negativity or reduce negative influence outside from school, however there are some people who disagree with this plan.

Abstract

This study discusses the Arabic development programs at TAZKIA IIBS and the follow up on Arabic programs. Following the problems faced by the institution, this institution has been planning and evaluating problems to improve and follow up on the development of Arabic programs. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Data collection was done through interviews and documentation. Based on the research findings, it was concluded that the development of Arabic in TAZKIA IIBS was through the Ilqa 'Mufradat, Muhadlarah, Ilmiyah Munadharah, Muhadatsah, Fathul Mu'jam, Qonatullughoh and Maqshoful Lughoh programs with facilities (Television, LCD, Language Lab and application) very helpful and there are tutors and native speakers who are graduates of the Middle East and selected people. The follow-up taken is: First, class management; Second, the decision of the head of the institution in managing the program; Third, student motivation by participating in several Arabic language competitions; Fourth, Bi'ah lughowiyah has begun to be socialized by translating texts into Arabic and communicating with academic teachers actively.

Abstract

The Islamic education cannot be separated from moral guidance or moral education. Islamic boarding school institutions are the origin of Islamic education institution in Indonesia, the pesantren institution is famous for its moral guidance for students. In the present day, there are two types of pesantren institutions, the traditional pesantren and modern pesantren, which both of them has its own characteristics in practice of moral development for its students.This research is a qualitative research with a case study model. The object of this research is Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor campus 2 and Pondok Pesantren Darul Huda Mayak Ponorogo.The purpose of this study was to (1) find out how the Islamic Education model in Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor and Darul Huda Mayak Islamic Boarding School. (2) To find out how the moral development process in each pesantren institution.The results of this study are (1) the model of religious education carried out at Pondok Modern Darussalam campus 2 refers to the curriculum of Kulliyatul Muallimin Al-Islamiyah where the coverage of knowledgeis 100% religion and 100% scientific knowledge, while the implementation of religious education in the Darul Huda Mayak Islamic boarding school refers to the principle of Salafiyah Hadistah, which is the education with traditional salaf curriculum and contemporary education methods. (2) The implementation of moral guidance activities at Pondok Moden Darussalam Gontor Campus 2 is to optimize the 24-hour education process based on daily discipline and the pesantren curriculum, while the implementation of moral guidance in the Darul Huda Mayak Islamic Boarding School is carried out with (1) internalization of the value of the Kitab Kuning in daily life and (2) habituation of religious activities in pesantren.

Abstract

The Quran is the source of education that contains the doctrine, worship, wisdom, literature, stories, advice, guidance and so on. Sayyed Qutb in his interpretation in the shadows of the Qur’an, "Turns out about attending the Quran activity and the situation pleased as the first descent to the Messenger of God, to be inspired works as used to the past work and facilitates the understanding and studies on educational values which relate to human life with the doctrine and ethics”. In this research, the researcher used the descriptive analytic method to illustrate and discuss existing issues in order to understand the content of these issues and the knowledge of the research method in the Content Analytical Method to visualize the relevant. The result reached by the investigators on educational values in Surat Maryam Ayat 16-21 in an interpretation in the shadow of the Quran to Sayyid Qutb includes: (1) Monotheistic values are the call that contains the way to unite the people of the faith, (2) Moral values, which are an example of moral ethics and an invitation to preserve the dignity of women as well as the value of trusting God in all cases. The researcher suggests readers to: (1) Understand the interpretation of the Koran more detailed and good. (2) Knowing the values of education as contained in Surat Maryam verse 16-21. A specific references and value in-depth coverage of the researcher values moral doctrine.

Abstract

The qur’an is the book guidelines who guide for mankind about affairs belief, and attitude devoted to serve the end and the beginning. Besides in the qur’an have been explained to the law about the manner of qur’an at islamic composed of different sorts command, prohibition, and suggestions or  in accordance with matter his discussion, one of them: the orders kind to both parents and obey him and prohibit to disobeyed against them, and in it the qur’an have made the possibility of children being the gem and comfort of hearts, while others an enemy to their parents. This study is used library researc.  Meanwhile in the analysis researchers used a method of descriptive analytical method and content analytical method. So the results of the study in verses of the quran is: 1 ) in the form of a Al-Ahqof verse 15 there are education and their offspring and what the remembrance of the home about birrul walidaini, 2 ) remembrance of the home in education about birrul walidaini in the form of a Al-Ahqof verse 15 teach someone to do good to the parents and are subordinating themselves to both of them because the God’s order and not because the order whose home is the fire.

Abstract

Arabic is one element of the success of female students in learning. Therefore, they are required to learn Arabic as well as possible and with all their efforts. Darussalam Islamic boarding school for female 1 (GP1) is well-known as the famous institute  with Arabic and English learning. All students who are in it, learn both languages from academic activities in the classroom and outside the classroom with very complete Arabic material. These materials are very helpful l for them in mastering Arabic. One of these materials is Mutholaah and Insya’ Tahriri. In this paper, the author wants to uncover and answer the question, is there a relationship between mastering Mutholaah and Insya’ Tahriri ?. In order to answer this question, the author uses quantitative methods and makes the test and writing documentation an instrument in collecting data and the use of formulas related to this problem in order to arrive at the results and conclusions.

Abstract

Mahad Sunan Ampel Al Aly (MSAA) is an Islamic educational institution under the auspices of the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. All new students are required to live in the dormitory (Mahad) for one year with the aim of creating a conducive atmosphere in the development of education, forming the character of polite students through religious activities, as well as improving language skills (Arabic and English) through linguistic activities. Musyrif (male counselor) and Musrifah (female counselor) has an essential role in achieving that goal. They are educators or tutors in scientific activities.To improve the competence of the Musrif and Musrifah in teaching, the pre-learning programs are held every once a week on weekends. This study aims to explore the model of tutor’s pre-teaching to enrich the programs of  language learning activities at MSAA. The research method used is the case study method using observation and interview techniques. The results showed that the pre-learning program provided the ability of  Musrif and Musrifah to organize the time appropriately, mastered sufficient material to be conveyed to new students, gained knowledge about variations and language learning games, and motivated techniques.

Abstract

Program evaluation is a sequence of activity which is done on purpose and carefully to know the implementation level or success of a program for knowing the effectivity of each component, for on going program or not. Billingual program in Pondok Pesantren Darunnajah Bogor, is one of program which is done structurally and sistematically run by  language department of pondok. This evaluation is aim to evaluate the implementation of billingual program in Pondok Pesantren Darunnajah 2 Cipinang Bogor reviewed form these aspects: 1) urgency (Context) program, 2) resource (Input) program, 3) Implementation (process) program and 4) result (Product)  program. This research used CIPP Model as an approach and oriented to measure program achievement level or activity by the target group, or measure the implementation result of Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP). The research design used is descriptive design, and used observation technique, interview, and documentation. Based on the result of the research, it shows that overall achievement in Pondok Pesantren Darunnajah Cipinang Bogor in organizing billingual program with 89.9% and it categorized as a good achievement. The percentage of success achievement program in detail is context program with 100% (excellent), resources (input) program 93.3% (very good), implementation (process) program 91.4% (very good), and result (product) program 75% (moderate).

Abstract

Among the basic needs that should be posessed by every people in this modern era is international language skill, included Arabic language. For moslems, Arabic language is not only language for Islam religion, but also international language and science. Realizing the importance of Arabic language in this modern era, pondok pesantren Sunan Drajat Paciran Lamongan then formulate the new way in Arabic language education . In the first time, it is oriented to deepen Islam religion, then it moved to Arabic language mastery to deepen Islam religion as a communication and science tool. Thus, to realize this new way, pondok pesantren Sunan Drajat establish the formal institution of foreign language development (Arab and English) and Arabic language department. The learning materials and activities not only focus on Arabic grammar (nahwu and shorof) but also in Arabic language skill (maharah al-istima’, maharah al-kalam, maharah al-qiro’ah and maharah al-kitabah). The learning process is not only inside the classroom, but also outside the classroom such as language laboratory, mosque, library, gardens by using varied methods, such as: qowaid wa tarjamah, mubasyaroh, muhadatsah, qiro’ah, and samiyah syafawiyah methods.  The learning resources are not only focus on kitab, but also using magazine, journal and internet. From that transformation, there are many differences and development in the activity of Arabic language learning, in the aspects of material, method, evaluation and learning resource.

Abstract

Listening skills (maharah al-istima ') is one of the fundamental skills that must be mastered by anyone who learns Arabic. Listening skills in Arabic need to be improved through structured and systematic efforts. The objective of listening skills is to increase the sensitivity of students in listening to the phrase (al-kalam) in Arabic and to understand the meaning of the expression. One of the universities that has great attention in developing product of listening skills is University of Darussalam Gontor.  The objectives of this study are (1) To develop the material of online Arabic Language Test using Moodle software to improve the Arabic listening skill of UNIDA students, (2) To find out the right method for implementing the online Arabic tests using Moodle software to improve the Arabic listening skill of UNIDA students. This study used research and development method. This method is a form of qualitative and quantitative approaches. In the sampling technique, researchers used the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique. Data collection techniques used pre-test & post-test, observation, interviews, questionnaires. The data analysis technique used data analysis techniques such as the type of Embedded Mixed Methods with the calculation formula related t-test using SPSS 17.0 software. The results of this study are (1) Products in the form of full text and audio question banks to improve Arabic listening skills that can be accessed through https://alikhtibar.com. The question bank product which is designed consists of 5 levels namely Level 1 (Beginner), Level 2 (Elementary), Level 3 (Intermediate), Level 4 (Upper Intermediate), Level 5 (Advance). (2) Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the products that had been developed are able to improve the Arabic listening ability of UNIDA students.
