Abstract

In the world of education, the exemplary or qudwah teacher is a type of religion. Only in practice is often a problem. Not only is it an integral part of a persons personality, it also involves many contributing factors. In North Aceh, a sample of research on qudwah, it is also recognized that the teacher is a central figure in the educational process that takes place in his school. From the point of view of Indonesian cultural values, the professional teacher is an educator who has the willpower or determination (strength of will, the strength of mind, self-control, and self-discipline) is very high, so obeyed (digger) words and followed (imitated) behavior. North Aceh also indicates that teacher conformity also has dynamics in its diversity.

Abstract

The current counter-terrorism effort has become a common commitment among the nations of the world. Conventionally, the effort to overcome terrorism is done through the approach of criminal law enforcement (penal). Some Muslims even argue that violence in the name of religion is including jihad in the Amar maruf Nahi munkar and enforce the Islamic law as a whole (kaffah). The fact that most of the actors of radicalism and terrorism in the name of Islam in Indonesia are alumni of madrasah education or boarding school is inevitable. Nevertheless, to regard all types of educational institutions as a source of the teachings of radicalism and theorist is a fundamental mistake given the characteristics and patterns of developers of Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia are very diverse. Moreover, a number of findings indicate that Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia are very different compared to similar educational institutions in other countries. In the Islamic context, character education is to restore the divine values in humans (fitrah) with the guidance of the Quran and As-Sunnah so that become a man who akhlaqul karimah (insan kamil). Insan kamil is a perfect man in terms of manifestation and knowledge.

Abstract

Almost in Islamic educational institution and pesantren in particular always teaches the study of Sheikh Al-Zarnujis thought contained in his work namely Talîm Al-mutaallim Tarîq al-Taallum. Unfortunately, the underdevelopment of pesantren is always directed to the study of Sheikh Al-Zarnujis thought. Because the book contains a very excessive doctrine about Tadzim so that the students were behave passively and static. As a result Pesantren is not able to face the challenges of todays world. This study aims to find out the concept of education Sheikh Al-Zarnuji, knowing the activities of students at boarding school Assalafiyyah 1 Babakan Tipar Cimahi Cicantayan Sukabumi and analyze the extent to which the education Concept Sheikh Al-Zarnuji affect the learning activities of students in boarding schools Assalafiyyah 1 Babakan Tipar Cimahi -Chicantayan Sukabumi. This research is descriptive-qualitative with field research type. By obtaining the data from Santri, Kiyai and the Board of Santri Putra through interview, observation also in the form of documents related to the research. Once the data is collected and recorded properly, the next step is to analyze the data. The process of analysis is done by reviewing all available data from various sources, then the data is analyzed and studied carefully and in the description which further gives description and explanation and described. The Effect of the Education Concept of Sheikh Al-Zarnuji in Talim Al-mutaallim on the Activity of Student Learning at the Pondok Pesantren Assalafiyyah 1, there were 60% increase in attendance and 85% increase in the value of the students. So that the Activity of Studying Students of Pondok Pesantren Assalafiyyah 1 Babakan Tipar Cimahi-Cicantayan Sukabumi is influenced by the Education Concept of Sheikh Al-Zarnuji.

Abstract

One of societys complaints so far was that education was focused more on hard skills and ignored soft skill (character building) education, resulting in smart students, but lacks akhlaq, morality, and mentality. Character building education aims to improve the educational process that leads to the formation of a noble character (akhlaqul karimah) of students as a whole, and balanced. The existence of Dayah in Aceh had created many graduates with high morality. The character educational model on Dayah Darussalam Labuhan Haji Aceh Selatan was: (1) The development of students regulations. (2) The development of teaching methods. (3) The development of character building education. (4) The development of students morality; and the development of students’ skills, including; practicing speech, samadiyah, prayer of the corpse, interaction etiquette, zikr, and wired.

Abstract

This research means that teachers should help to prevent the decline of teenager’s characters, if we see from the increasing sophisticated era, education character is often eroded gradually. The teacher’s strategy to instill the character of student by interpolating the values of human behavior associated with God Almighty and humanity. The Division: (1) The hearts consisting of: Religious, honest, responsible, social care and environment care, (2) The thinking consists of: intelligent, creative, likes to read and curiosity, (3) The Body consists of: keep health of the body and the environment, (4) Exercise and initiative consists of: Caring and helping. From several of behavioral the teenager delinquency rate will decrease. Synchronized with the theory of dramaturgy, teacher is becoming an actor in the front stage area as a driving force and guide who not only transfers science but also character educators to be good generations of the nation. From back stage, teacher role as friends to be well received by students and exemplary.

Abstract

Moderatism in Islam teaches balance, inclusivism, tolerance, and love of peace. With this value, Muslims appear with a peaceful face and tolerance against various differences. Pesantren al-Amin Prenduan, the value of modernism instilled these values, in the process of learning, in the subject of al-Qur, an, Al-Hadith, Fight and Islamic History. While outside the learning process, the planting of moderate values ​is done in extra-curricular activities, santri life management, and incidental activities in pesantren. This paper intends to examine 1) the implementation of moderate education in Al-Amin Islamic Boarding School in the framework of local wisdom Madurese, 2) constructivism learning model in cultivating the values ​​of moderatism, and 3) learning strategies used in moderatism education. The research method used is qualitative research, by using observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this research are 1) The planting of moderatism in Pesantren al-Amin is conducted through 1) the learning process based on the curriculum that is applied (intrakurikuler). 2) learning outside of the curriculum (extra curricular), and 3) hidden curriculum (hidden curricular). As a boarding school located in Madura, this pesantren conducts its education process in the framework of the local wisdom of Madura that is respect to the teacher.

Abstract

The learning of Islamic Religious Education in university classes within PTKI requires innovation and development through a varied model or learning strategy. One of the effective learning models in improving students skills in understanding the teaching materials is through the K-W-L strategy. This strategy is commonly developed in learning that aims to overcome the difficult problem of understanding the teaching materials that are often used in text learning or script study. The research trials have proved that this model is effective in delivering students understanding of the learning materials of Islamic Religious Education that are taught.

Abstract

This research is aimed to reveal the reality of meaning, about the portrait of character education in Islamic Senior High School of Mambaul Hikam, Tegal Siwalan, Probolinggo District, Islamic Senior High School of Riyadlus Sholihin, Kademangan, Probolinggo City and Islamic Senior High School of Wali Songo 2, Banyuanyar, Probolinggo District. The reason for choosing the three research sites is because; first, the educational institution of madrasah is successful in educating and fostering the character of learners. Secondly, the madrasah is a pesantren-based madrasah, that is, madrasah synergize with pesantren in fostering the character of the students. Third, students in the madrasah are plural and plural, both in economic, social and cultural aspects. This research use qualitative method, type of case study. The results showed that, the construction of character education in madrasah-based on pesantren is done through; Integrated character education in learning system, extracurricular activities and organization, exemplary and habituation, and intensive communication between madrasah with stakeholders

Abstract

Course Lectures and Learning Methods The PAI leads students to understand and apply strategies and methods in the education and teaching of Islamic Religious Education very well in accordance with the spirit of PAI. If the lecturer talks or discusses which only has an impact on activating the analytical thinking aspect, and possibly up to the critical areas of the student, it can be ascertained that the creative and innovative thinking sphere of the students has not been better empowered, and makes learning less meaningful. To reinforce the students learning experience requires more learning to give them the opportunity to think, do, try, and experience themselves, by linking the material to the context of their lives. This activity allows the critical thinking, creative and innovative thinking potential to be optimally empowered. Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) or contextual learning is a learning model that can help lecturers relate between the material they are teaching and the real-world situations of the students and encourage them to make connections between their knowledge and application in the context of real life

Abstract

This research is an evaluative research that is needed to know the size of the difficulty level, the different capacity and the distractor function in the final exam of the semester the double choice of subjects of Islamic Education and Human Being in the one semester of the academic year 2017-2018. Objects studied were 30 items of multiple choice which made by the teacher of Islamic Education at grade XI A of Basic Vehicle teacher product then interpreted. This research is conducted with the level of suitability and differentiation and the use of distractor teacher artificial item is further interpreted into predetermined criteria. The method of data used is documentation and interview. This research used the quantitative data analysis that was interpreting. The data of the level of the difficult calculation result and differentiation of the teachers multiple choice. The results showed that the level of conformity of the multiple choice which made by the teacher has not been proportional, as many as 21 product teachers problem that is not appropriate between the cognitive domains set by the teacher with the real cognitive realm according to Blooms taxonomy. The difference level of the teachers multiple choice was still low. A total of 21 problems of teacher have not been able to distinguish the ability between smart learners and less intelligent learners. Researchers used Microsoft excel program to get the problem. Based on results of the analysis conducted in terms of difficulty level, 30 items that included difficult items (2%), 7 items (23.3%) categories, and 27 (70%) easy category effects. In terms of distinguishing power, from 30 items that are classified as not good there are 15 (50%), enough 3 grains (10%), either 12 grains (40%), and 1 item (0%), and in terms of effectiveness of distractor use, poorly functioning item 15 items (50%), poor function 6 item (20%), function there are 9 grains (30%), and no item is good and very good Problem of Final Semester Examination of Teacher of Islamic Education and Character Program of Light Vehicle Engineering Expertise at grade XI A in SMK Negeri 1 Sedayu for Academic Year 2017/2018 including the less / not quality.
