Abstract

ABSTRACTEWARS implementation in Trenggalek has applied since 2013. EWARS was rated from accuracy and completeness of report. Accuracy and completeness of report is the indicator to determine public health center (PHC) performance on the EWARS implementation. The objective of this research is to analyze EWARS performance of PHC in the health office on 2016 with reviewing the accuracy and completeness of report. This research was observational research, that used evaluative design. The subject of this research is surveilance system of EWARS in Health Office of Trenggalek with informant or data resources is EWARS holder in 22 PHC and health Offce. The technique of data collection used primary data and secondary data with questionnaire and observation sheet as instruments. The technique of data processing and analyzing was descriptive. The results of this research showed accuracy of report in Trenggalek on 2016 shows an average of 79%, meanwhile completeness of report in Trenggalek on 2016 of 98,5%. The conclusion of this research was EWARS performance in the PHC seen from accuracy of report showed result that not well yet because accuracy of report that not reached yet the target of 80%, meanwhile based on the completeness of report showed that EWARS performance of PHC already good because has reached the target of 90%. Accuracy and completeness affected by characteristics of the EWARS officer. Therefore need to evaluate on officer who aged 26-45 years old, on the woman officer and officer that has work period ≥2 years.Keywords : Early Warning Alert Response System, outbreak, accuracy and completeness’s report, PHC performance

Abstract

ABSTRACTNon-communicable diseases (NCD) became causes of death in the world. Proportion of deaths due to NCD also NCD risk factors was increasing in Indonesia so, NCD control was required. NCD risk factors surveillance in Posbindu based on surveillance attribute at Surabaya was not optimal. Puskesmas have not established ≥20 Posbindu in each work area make NCD risk factors has not been identified. It may affect the resulting information representation to make the fundamental of policy control. The purpose of this research was to evaluate NCD risk factors surveillance system in Posbindu based on surveillance attribute in Surabaya. This research was a descriptive evaluative. The research subjects were NCD risk factors surveillance system with 16 program respondents and 77 Posbindu volunteers. Data collection were conducted with questionnaires and document studies. The results show that the system was simple, acceptable, has high sensitivity and stability, timely, and high quality data. While the assessment of flexibility and positive predictive value could not be done. The conclusion of this research was surveillance attribute was good but there were problems in surveillance system. The problem solving suggestion were community empowerment to purchase their own tools by the Posbindu volunteers, expert or laboratory confirmation record on the result of examination, and maintanace server of NCD website page. Abstract

ABSTRACTImmunization is a program be done to protect a human body from diseases. In Tanjung Jabung Barat District, the completeness of mmunization has not reached in MDGs (> 93%). According to the health agency information, showed that the completeness of  immunization in West Tanjung Tabung regency (89%) and Kuala Tungkal II health Center (78%). The purpose of this research is to analyze factors that related with the status of basic Immunization. The type of research is qualitative method through indepth interview. This research uses cross sectional design. The research was be located on Kuala Tungkal II PHC in Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency. The population is all mothers who have children aged 12-24 months. Sampling is done by random sampling. The result showed that were a significant relationship between maternal education level (p = 0.007; OR 3.15; 95% CI 1.33-7.49), mother’s knowledge (p = 0.000; OR = 45.25; 95% CI 13.23-154.72), mothers attitude (p = 0.000; OR = 94.55; 95% CI 22.13-403.87), and mother’s motivate  (p = 0.000;  OR= 37.00 ; 95% CI 11.40-119.99) related to the child immunization status. It can be concluded that three variables have related to incomplete immunization. It is suggested that the health agency should improve the knowledge of health personnel in training that involves the basic immunization., so as to provide education to the public about the importance of complete basic immunization.Keywords: immunization, motivate, knowledge, attitude

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe hospital is one of the health facilities that provide promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative services. WHO surveys in 2014 showed the incidence of surgical site infection (SSI) increased from 1.2 cases of 100 surgical become to 23.6 cases of 100 surgical procedures. This study aims to analyze the effect of operating procedure on the risk of SSI occurrence in contaminated cleaning operating patients. This research uses case control design. The sample size was 20 patients and the control group were 20 patients. Sampling is done through simple random sampling technique. Data collection is done by using secondary data that is patient medical record. The relationship between variables is calculated through chi-square test using computer applications. The result of statistic analysis showed the factors that influence the risk of IDO occurrence in the contaminated net operating patients in RSU Haji Surabaya such as preoperative bath (OR = 7,42) and shaving preoperative (OR = 6,00). Factors that have no effect on the occurrence of IDO include age factor (OR = 1.00), the nature of surgery (OR = 1.00), body temperature (OR = 1.28), nutritional status (OR = 2.78), and ASA score (OR = 2.26). The conclusion of the research is the risk factors that influence the incidence of IDO in the contaminated net operating patients at RSU Haji Surabaya ie preoperative bath and shaving preoperative. Research suggestions, socialization and supervision on the implementation of standard operating procedures and the use of IDO bundle prevention as an effort to minimize IDO incidents.Keywords: Surgical Site Infection (SSI) , contaminated cleaning operating, procedures

Abstract

ABSTRACTOverweight is health problem that occurs because of imbalance between input and output energy causing the accumulation of excessive fat tissue in the body. There are several factors that can lead to overweight are excess of dietary pattern, physical activity and sedentary lifestyle. The purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship between dietary pattern, physical activity and the sedentary lifestyle with overweight incidence at SMA Negeri 5 Surabaya. This research is analyitic observational with cross sectional design. Accessible population sizes in this research are 679 students with numbers of samples are 157 students (simple random sampling). Data processing by using computer application with the univariate and bivariate analysis. The results analysed using chi square test with α = 0.05. The results showed correlation between sex (p = 0.041), mother’s job (p = 0.025), dietary pattern (p = 0.035) and physical activity (p= 0.015) with overweight. There was no correlation between parent’s education, father’s job, parent’s income, student’s pocket money, sedentary lifestyle with overweight. Suggestions for school to held morning gymnastics twice a week, also extends the extracurricular duration. Teenagers are expected to increase and balance the diet consumption.Keywords: physical activity, sedentary lifestyle, overweight, dietary pattern

Abstract

Tetanus problems are still the cause of neonatal death in Indonesia. Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus Elimination Program is a program to improve maternal and child health and evenly to be free from Tetanus disease by Immunization of Tetanus Diphtheria during pregnancy, its aims to build immunity in the mother and baby to avoid Tetanus infection. Tetanus Neonatorum case in 2014 in Indonesia amounted to 54 cases with the non-immunization status of Tetanus Diphtheria. The number of pregnant women targeted by Tetanus Diphtheria immunization in the work area of Burneh Sub-District Health Center of Bangkalan District is 1073 pregnant women in 2016, but it just covered 585 pregnant women. This research was conducted with a cross sectional design with the number of samples taken by 93 mothers who became the target of Tetanus Diphtheria Immunization and had given birth in 2016 by using simple random sampling. The purpose of this study was to analyze factors related to the participation of pregnant women in the implementation of Tetanus Diphtheria immunization in the work area of Burneh Sub-District Health Center 2016. The results of this study indicate that the age of the respondents is mostly aged 20 years to 30 years, with the number of children owned by respondents mostly amounted to 1. Lower knowledge possessed by respondents about tetanus disease and Tetanus Diphtheria immunization, so that health workers and family roles have an important role to encourage respondents to have awareness to immunize Tetanus Diphtheria during pregnancy.Keywords: husband support, Tetanus Diphtheria Immunization, knowledge, officer attitude

Abstract

ABSTRACTCervical cancer was non communicable desease that worries the public and causes an increase mortality in women. One of the first sign causes of cervical cancer is occourrence of Leucorrhoe. The incidence of Leucorrhoe in women Indonesia by 90% of which >75% of women experience once of leucorrhoe and experience ≥ 2 times by 25%. Leucorrhoe should not be considered an ordinary thing because can be caused to itchy on genetalia, pain during sexsual, infection  can be caused odema on genetalia, hot like burned on vagina even the impact if not treated promptly will caused infertility and cancer. Aims of study was to analyze factors of influenced on Leucorrhoe incident. Design of study was cross sectional study. Population was women of childbearing age who use contraceptives in the karang jeruk village, Jatirejo sub district, Mojokerto district in March of 2017. Sample in this study was 33 people. Data analyze with logistic regresion. Result of study showed contraceptive and sexsual activity has significant influenced with leucorrhoe (PR = 10.000; 95% CI= 1,732-57,722 dan PR=8,750; 95% CI=1,466-52,232). Suggestion: should be married and have first sexual intercourse for the first time at the age of  ≥ 20 years, limit the number of children not more than 2 as the greater the number of children the greater the risk of Leucorrhoe, and not using hormonal contraception for a along time that more than 2 years. Keywords: contraceptive,sexsual activity, leucorrhoe

Abstract

ABSTRACTTuberculosis (TB) on Sumenep district remains a major health problem especially in Pragaan. Puskesmas Pragaan was a health facility on Sumenep district which has many tuberculosis patients to the others, and success rate on this health facility in 2015 to 2016 was decreased. This research is analytic descriptive by using case control method, and was analyzed with chi-square statistic test. The study population were all PMO from pulmonary tuberculosis patients who went to Puskesmas Pragaan in January until December 2016, which was 106 patients. The sample of research were 60 peoples, that is 20 case PMOs and 40 control PMOs. This research uses interview with questionnaire which contains about general characteristics of PMO, knowledge of PMO about tuberculosis, knowledge of PMO about PMO role, and PMO attitude when patient during treatment period was 6 months. The results showed that the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis in Puskesmas Pragaan was 104 patients. The informations obtained was presented with tables and narratives. The result of chi-square statistic test showed that there was no relationship between sex (p = 0.855), age (p = 0.106), occupation (p = 0.325), last education (p = 0.656), and family closeness between PMO with  patient (p = 0.112) with the patients treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis. However, in this study there are relationships between knowledge (p =0.004) and attitude (p = 0.003) with treatment compliance patients pulmonary tuberculosis. It is suggested to optimizing PMO’s program, communication-information-education should be done continuely, than goverment should pay attention about transportation access in village that influence to health service.Keywords : characteristics, medication compliance, tubercolosis’s supervisory, tuberculosis

Abstract

ABSTRACTFree Number of larvae (ABJ) in RW 15, Wonokusumo Village is 85%. However, the incidence of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is still high, ie 17 cases. The high incidence rate of DHF is due to the interaction between host, agent and environment. Host in terms of behavior, dengue virus as an agent and environment derived from the surrounding conditions that can cause and trigger the spread of DHF. The purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship of host and environment behavior to the occurrence of DHF in RW 15. This research using cross sectional design. Random sampling using the guy method. How to calculate the method guy is 10% of the population so that obtained a sample of 78 respondents. Primary data collection technique is done through indepth interview and filling questionnaire. Secondary data collection was obtained from Wonokusumo Puskemas report and report from Surabaya City Health Office. The research was conducted in RW 15. The result of bivariate statistic test showed significant relation between knowledge, attitude, action and environment against DHF incidence with p> α, 0,00> 0,05. The conclusion of this research is that there is host and environment interaction to DHF incidence. Suggestion of this research is procurement of work program every month, independent larvae monitoring movement by society and 3M movement plus every week on Thursday and procurement of training of cadre jumantik about how and regulation of dosage of abate powder according to dose.Keywords: host behavior, environment, disease Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever

Abstract

ABSTRACTChildhood obesity is one of the most serious public health problems in the 21st century. Unhealthy eating habits are believed to be the cause of overweight/obesity in children. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between the consumption patterns of snack foods and the incidence of overweight/obesity. This research was conducted at the SDN Ploso I-172, Tambaksari Surabaya in May-July 2017 with a case control study design. Data were obtained from interview and anthropometric measurement. The samples size was 112 respondents with 56 case samples, and 56 control samples. Data were analyzed using linear regression test and logistic regression. The results showed that snack foods consumed by schoolchildren were fruit syrup, perisa beverage, chocolate, papeda, fried foods, fishcake and sausages, pentol, syrup, sauce, and toppings. There was a significant correlation between daily consumption of food snack, including fruit syrup (p = 0.004; OR = 8.000), perisa beverage (p = 0.02; OR = 13.412), chocolate (p = 0.013; OR = 6.333), fried food (p = 0.015; OR = 14.786), fishcake and sausages (p = 0.004; OR = 8.750), pentol (p = 0.039; OR = 4.044), syrup, sauce, and topping (p = 0.023; OR = 4.643) with overweight/obesity incidence. In conclusion this research revealed correlation between the pattern of snacking and overweight/obesity incidence among school children. It is suggested to the parents and schools to be more vigilant ensuring the healthy snack consumption to prevent overweight dan obesity among school children. Keywords: overweight, snack food, obesity, consumption pattern
