Abstract

Angklung Paglak is a typical Banyuwangi angklung musical instrument that is heard from above using the tone of the Banyuwangian genre. Angklung Paglak has many things that can be explored to be used with mathematical concepts. The purpose of this study is to find out mathematics concept in angklung paglak Banyuwangi This research is exploratory-descriptive research. Data collection is done by literature review, observation, interviews and documentation. Data were analyzed by qualitative methods. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The characteristics of angklung paglak Banyuwangi in terms of shape and process are the same as the other Banyuwangi angklung types. Angklung paglak and other Banyuwangi angklung have differences in terms of many players. Paglak angklung players were 4 people, 2 angklung players and 2 drums players while the other Banyuwangi angklung players varied. (2) The mathematical concept in angklung paglak is about two or three-dimensional geometric shapes; traditional measurement units; concept of equating length to an object; and concept of equating length to an object.

Abstract

This research aims to apply Active Learning with Flashcard assisted and to improve learning outcomes in vector material for students of X MIPA 3 Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta Senior High School. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of this research were students of class X MIPA 3 as many as 32 students. The subject of this class action research because based on observations made by the teacher during the learning process, students were still very less active. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, tests, and documentation. The results showed that there was an increase seen from the percentage of learning completeness. Learning completeness experienced a significant increase. In the initial condition, the percentage was 28.13% then increased at the end of Cycle I to 40.63% meaning that flashcard-assisted active learning can improve student learning outcomes but still not reach the target of 80% so that it continues in Cycle II. At the end of Cycle II, there was another more significant increase to 100%, meaning that flashcard-assisted active learning is very suitable to be applied to improve learning outcomes. Thus it can be concluded that the use of Active learning models with Flashcard assisted can improve the activity and learning outcomes. This learning model can be used as an alternative for mathematics teachers in doing classroom learning creativity.

Abstract

Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika sangat penting untuk kehidupan sehari-hari kita karena kita tahu bahwa proses pemecahan masalah matematika adalah proses berpikir yang mengarah pada hasil yang baru dan bermanfaat. Salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan kesulitan matematika adalah kecemasan matematika. Solusi suatu masalah tergantung pada bagaimana masalah terjadi, sehingga diperlukan penelitian yang lebih mendalam mengenai kaitan antara kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan kecemasan matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemetaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas VIII SMP di Banjarbaru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei dengan subjek terdiri dari 376 siswa kelas VIII SMP yang berasal dari 15 sekolah yang ditentukan dengan stratified random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan angket kecemasan matematika. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis profil. Hasil pemetaan menunjukkan bahwa masih ada kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika dan kecemasan matematika rata-rata sekolah di Kota Banjarbaru yang tidak sesuai dengan status akreditasi dan teori yang sudah ada sebelumnya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of worksheets based on an open-ended approach to students' mathematical problem solving abilities. Subjects in the study were eighth grade public and private junior high school students in Lubuklinggau City who were from 3 schools. Each school is SMP Negeri 1 Lubuklinggau totaling 33 students, SMP Negeri 14 Lubuklinggau totaling 29 students and SMP PGRI 3 Lubuklinggau totaling 14 students. Data collection techniques in this study are test techniques. the test used in the study is a description test which is compiled based on indicators of mathematical problem solving abilities. The data analysis technique used in this study is one sample t-test with the help of SPSS Version 24 program.The data analysis t-test students' mathematical problem solving capabilities of three schools only SMP Negeri 1 Lubuklinggau which show significantly less than equal to 61 (?o 61). SMP Negeri 14 Kota Lubuklinggau and SMP PGRI 3 Lubuklinggau showed that the average mathematical problem-solving ability of students after using LKS based on open-ended was significantly more than 61 (?o 61). Abstract

The low mathematical communication skills in SMA 2 Natar, South Lampung, are caused by various factors, including the assumption that mathematics is very difficult so students still tend to be passive. The purpose of this study was to determine the mathematical communication skills of students who used the Gerlach and Ely learning models that characterized Islamic values better than conventional learning. The population in this study were students of class X Natar 2 Public High School. This research is a pre-experimental design with one-group pretest-posttest type. The test prerequisite analysis was done by Liliefors test for normality and F test for homogeneity, then the data were analyzed using N-Gain test and correlated t-test. The results of the analysis in the t-test test correlates mathematical communication skills in the material of the nilier equation system three variables at the significance level ? = 0.05 obtained by tcount = 24.19 Ttable = 2.045 24, Thitung> T table so that in the calculation of H0 is rejected. Similarly, mathematical communication skills can be improved after using the Gerlach and Ely learning model characterized by Islamic values on the subject of the three-variable linear equation system

Abstract

This experimental quasi is aimed to know the influence of Co-op Co-op model independently on problem solving abilities in terms of student learning style. This research method is a quasy experiment with quantitative approach. The subjects of the study were the students of class X IPS 3 and Class X IPS 4. Subject take technique done by perposive sampling. The experimental class used the co-op self-co-op learning model and the control class using the conventional co-op co-op learning model. Data were collected using written test techniques to obtain data on problem solving abilities and student learning styles. Data analysis techniques in hypothesis testing using two away anava, followed by tukey test. The results of this study obtained the average value of experimental class 1 taught with Co-op self-co-op learning model is 65.56, the average experiment class 2 is 66.33 and the average control class that is taught by the model of learning Co-op conventional co-op is 59.83. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that (1) There is influence of independent co-op co-op model and learning style to problem solving ability, (2) Co-op Co-op model independent of problem solving ability, (3) learning styles on problem-solving skills and (4) there is an interaction between Co-op co-op models and learning styles in influencing problem-solving abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of blended learning models to self-regulated learning of mathematics in eight-grade student in West Lampung. This study uses a quasi-experimental design with a population of all eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Way Tenong. Classes are randomly selected and treated with blended learning models. The instrument used is a self-regulated learning questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that blended learning models can improve self-regulated learning of mathematics.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a mathematics education game on Trigonometry material. The type of this research is research and development (R & D) using the ADDIE development model. The steps consist of: (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, (5) Evaluation. Media validation is carried out by material experts and media experts. Material validity reached 78% in the good category and media validity reached 96.43% in the very good category. Media trials were conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Salatiga class XI TEI A on 35 students and produced a practical index of 98% in the very good category. The results of media implementation showed that after using the media, experiencing an increase in learning outcomes of 1.1814 was included in the high increase category. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the media mathematics education game is valid, practical, and effective to use.

Abstract

This research objective to develops and produce learning method in Triangle and Rectangle material. The research method using Research and Development (R & D) Design with ADDIE model which involves steps: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. In its implementation, HARUM PALA (Memorize Formulas Using Songs) method was first validated by 1 learning strategy expert, 3 material experts, and 3 practitioners/teachers, which was later revised and implemented in SMP Negeri 4 Balikpapan, SMP Negeri 7 Balikpapan, and SMP Patra Dharma 2 Balikpapan. The methods used in data collection are interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. In this research, the feasibility of the learning strategy expert was obtained with a percentage of 85.45% (feasible), material experts with an average percentage of 85% (feasible), and practitioners / teachers at an average percentage of 84% (feasible). Based on the achievement of student learning, the average student in the Small Scale Trial of 69.78 and on the Large Scale Test of 75.34. So, as a whole, the product of the learning method HARUM PALA (Hafalan Rumus Pakai Lagu) can be said to be feasible to be used as a method of junior high school mathematics learning.

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of the NHT Integrated learning model on the ability to think creatively by controlling students' initial abilities. The method used is an experiment with anacova quantitative approach. The population is all students of class VII MTS. The sampling technique used by simple random sampling with 3 classes of samples. In the experimental class using the NHT integrated learning model and the control class using conventional NHT learning models. Data were collected using written test techniques, data analysis techniques in hypothesis testing using ancova with 3 x 1 factorial and continued with further testing. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that (1) There is an influence of the NHT integrated learning model on the ability to think creatively by controlling the early ability of mathematics. Given the value of Fcount = 8.96> Ftable 3.15 and significance of SPSS 0.000 compared to the value of ? (0.05) then 0.000 <0.05 and the hypothesis is accepted. (2) There is a different effect of NHT integrated learning model on the ability to think creatively by controlling the initial ability of mathematics. With the value of Fcount = 49.192> Ftable 3.15 and the significance of SPSS 0.000 when compared with the value of ? (0.05) then 0.000 <0.05 and the hypothesis is accepted. This difference is seen in the significance level of SPSS 0.001 <0.05, which means that the learning model in the experimental class is better than the control class learning model.
