Abstract

This paper presents about full day school education in the epistemology perspective of Muhammad Abid Al-Jabiri. Muhammad Abid Al-Jabiri is one of contemporary Islamic thinkers with the theories of bayani, ‘irfani and burhani. Where the theory of epistemology serve is a science that comes from a sacred text and the theory of ‘irfani epistemology derived from intuition while the theory of burhani epistemology derived from the principles of logic, ratio and reason. And this paper examines the education of full day school with the theories of bayani, ‘irfani and burhani. With the hope of third theory can be understood as effort to build and create paradigm of society about policy of full day school, so from various problematic causing the pros and cons to full day school concept which have been published by Mendikbud can be overcome.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah is an Islamic reform organization that has had a major impact on the progress of Muslims in Indonesia. The reforms carried out by Muhammadiyah include multidimensional, such as in education, health, economy and culture. In the field of education, Muhammadiyah undertook the modernization of Islamic education, which is essential for the development of Islamic education in Indonesia. Muhammadiyah refined the Islamic education curriculum by incorporating Islamic religious education into public schools and secular knowledge to religious schools. The concept of HIS med the Quran, which was launched by Muhammadiyah, could mean that public schools plus Islamic subjects became a model not only for educational institutions under Muhammadiyah, but also used by other Muslim groups, which made education an area of concern. In addition, Muhammadiyah also organized the modernization of madrasah by integrating it with the boarding system (pesantren). Modernization takes place intensely in the form of the introduction of the institutional elements of modern education and the subjects of modern science. The renewal of Muhammadiyah education gave rise to various advances in various areas of Indonesian society.

Abstract

This paper would like to explain about the gait, role, and thoughts of Tuan Guru Reteh (TGR) Shaykh Abdurrahman Yaqub in the field of Islamic education. This paper is a result of the search for his innovative thinking in developing Islamic education in the area of Indragiri Hilir Riau Province. Based on the results of these searches can be emphasized several things: first, that TGR. Shaykh Abdurrahman Yaqub has a fairly qualified educational background. Second, that TGR. Shaykh Abdurrahman Yaqub has played a very important, major and dual role in the society, especially in the field of education and dakwah even appointed in the administration of government as the formal leader of religion. Third, that TGR. Shaykh Abdurrahman includes productive scholars in the birth of written works. Thus, it is very natural and appropriate for TGR. Shaykh Abdurrahman Yaqub is called a scholar who has authoritative, comprehensive and productive religious knowledge in the Malay-Indragiri region in particular, and the archipelago in general. With these considerations, the title as "Ulama Besar Kharismatik Melayu-Indragiri" is very worthy of the TGR. Shaykh Abdurrahman Yaqub.

Abstract

Education is process that leads people to the good life and the uplifting of humanity in accordance with the basic capabilities (nature) and the his teaching ability (external influences). True education is that provides the opportunity for openness to influences from the outside world and the development of the student themselves. The purpose of  education is expected to from the persoality of a person into human beings with the pattern of taqwa to Allah SWT. Where the purpose of education is essentially that can humans in line with the incident. And aims to gain the solvation of the world and the hereafter. With the exixtence of education is expected to produce human beings who have a good personality in outword and inward who are able to devote charity and deeds to seek pleasure Allah. Education in the family has a strategic role and very decivise achievement of the quality of human resources. Implementation of family education is not just arolw as a routine and natural executor but acst as a responsible manager in laying a founation, weight direction and patterns of child life

Abstract

This study aimed to know the culture of students in using pirated books. The location of the study was conducted at State Islamic University of Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau), University of Riau, Universitas Islam Riau, and Lancang Kuning University in Pekanbaru City. Based on the analysis of student economic factors, it shows that the student culture in using pirated books was not because of economic factors. It was evidenced by most of the students with good economic conditions or in the middle to lower class. Based on students understanding of Copyright, it indicated that students comprehend and understand about copyright. However, respondents considered the copy of the book for the benefit of education does not violate the copyright because to facilitate the science. Actually a photocopy of a book for the benefit of education to facilitate the demand for science is basically an act of copyright infringement because it includes actions to reproduce without permission and disseminate it. Student’s attitudes to regular ordinary photocopies/copies are familiar with copier/pirate books. Based on the habits (culture) of students in buying reference books where the purchase of photocopy reference books/pirates is already a student habit.

Abstract

The performance of the teacher can also be used by the individual for himself, looking at his self-image and self-esteem and reading from others in relation to his academic abilities and achievements, studying in school, making schoolwork, and rewarding his achievements. Study on implementation of madrasah quality improvement program in Kampar District proposed the problems are: 1) implementation of student quality improvement program at MTs Negeri in Kampar District; 2) the implementation of madrasah quality improvement program on teacher performance at MTs Negeri in Kampar District; 3) the implementation concept of madrasah quality improvement program on teacher performance at MTs Negeri in Kampar District. The result of the study that can be writweet is implementation of school intensity improvement program on teacher performance of MTs Negeri in Kampar District is moderate with percentage of 63,83% there is significant change between supervisor performance for teacher with influence equal to 0,489.

Abstract

This research aims to describe about teaching methode of teachers, learning interest students, and to determine the relationship between teaching method of teachers and learning interest students in MTs Aisyiyah Ujung Belakang Olo Padang. The research used the quantitative descriptive. The technique used to collect data in this study is the observation, the documentation, and the questionnaires. The findings showed that in MTs Aisyiyah Ujung Belakang Olo Padang: 1) teaching method of teachers is not good in presentation in the class, 2) learning interest students is lower, and 3) this study also indicate that relationship between teaching method of teachers and learning interest students.

Abstract

This paper examines a small part of substance of the problems. Therefore it is still embryotic and pioneer. However, this embryonic and pioneer effort is the key gatekeeper for the scientists in this aspect of this quite prospective fiqh tarbawi issue. For further study and freedom in order to increase the scientific treasures in this study then opened access to the gate study of fiqh tarbawi or education in a comprehensive. This paper answers the negative assumptions addressed to Islam with its educational system which seems strong, even considered primitive, can not be assumed as a form of disparaging or demeaning.

Abstract

This article describes the Arabic learning in terms of speaking skills using communicative approach. In Arabic language learning is known four language skills that must be possessed by students that are listening skills (maharah al-istima ), speaking skill (maharah al-kalam), reading skill (maharah al-qira`ah), writing skill (maharah al-kitabah ). To obtain language skills in the learning process and become a daily habit in the environment would require the competence of Arabic teachers who have an innovative approach in teaching. One of the approaches of learning speaking skills is by using a communicative approach. The steps are (1) the learner hears, reads, then practices a two-line dialogue with his partner, (2) hears and repeats it, (3) listens to the dialogue model and then repeats it by observing the names in the dialog with their own name, (4) ) read the question hint and make a question, (5) read a two-line dialogue framework then practice with his partner, (6) hear reading the question model and ask.

Abstract

This paper is part of the results of research, one of the objectives is to know the penetration of Islam on religious social, especially the field of education that occurred in the community Rokan Hulu. Due to this study of social science research, the method used is in accordance with the social science method guided by theoretical framework by using qualitative approach done in four stages of work namely (1) heuristics, (2) criticism, (3) interpretation, and ( 4) historiography. The research is descriptive form of research that gives a description or describes a complex reality so that the explanation and analysis and interpretations are met. The research location is Rokan Hulu Regency because predicted Riau Islamization comes from Barus adjacent to Rokan Hulu. The results prove that Barus became an important port after Melaka in the world of commerce. In addition to trade, they are traders also broadcast the religion of Islam and make emotional connection with the local community and marriage so that many tombs of Middle Eastern communities in Barus that can be witnessed today and has been studied also by scientists from various countries. The spread of Islam in Barus spread to the surrounding area like South Tapanuli known as “Serambi Mekah” of North Sumatra. By looking at the position of Rokan Hulu adjacent to South Tapanuli, it can be predicted that will be affected by the Islamization so that it will affect the religious social community of Rokan Hulu including education. The nickname of “Negeri Seribu Suluk” to Rokan Hulu is an indication that Rokan Hulu is a temple of Barus Islamization so that it affects the religious education that grows and develops in Rokan Hulu Malay society such as the number of houses of worship and “surau-surau suluk” which until now still become the icon of the area. The birth of the Sufis who developed the Naqsyabandiyah congregation in Rokan Hulu was an implementation of the religious life of the Malay Rokan Hulu people, in which they chose a special way of nicknaming to draw closer to Allah SWT.
