Abstract

Abstract In the cigarette industry for meeting consumer needs not only provide good taste, but also the fulfillment of the availability of goods. It required a good coordination between related parties such as suppliers, factory, distributors, retailers, and so on. Parties involved in the procurement of raw materials to the distribution of products to consumers is known as the supply chain. Lack of coordination will lead to information distortion phenomenon called the bullwhip effect. PT. U.S. Purwosari a cigarette factory with one of its products is PMI and product distribution in Borneo. At PMI Product frequent urgent packaging materials resulting in subsequent orders and production delays. Based on these in this study to identify the presence of the bullwhip effect on PT. U.S. to calculate its value and find the cause.

Abstract

Abstract Currently one of the organic fertilizer started being used is organic fertilizer from rabbit feces. In Pesanggrahan Batu area, there are about 25 farmers in each farmer has about 50 rabbits and joinning to "Paguyupan Ternak Karya Bagus". The problem is there still no standard composition of optimal organic fertilizer made from rabbit feces, so it is necessary to do a research to evaluate the composition of the organic fertilizer made from rabbit feces to get the high content of nitrogen, phosphorus and Kalium. Some factors used in this research related to the raw material for organic fertilizer are rabbit feces, bran, husk and probiotics factor with 3 levels of each factor, so then we select  experiment with orthogonal array 34 and 9 variations. The chosen orthogonal array table must have a minimum number of raw which is not less than the total number of degrees of freedom- in this research the total degrees of freedom is 8. Then do experiment in laboratory to check nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and kalium (K) content in the soil chemistry laboratory UB faculty of agriculture. Based on data analysis we get the combination of the level of high N content is by using a composition of 3000 g rabbit feces, EM4 10 ml and the amount of chaff 200 gr. The combination of the level that has the effect of generating a high phosphorus content value is the amount of rabbit feces at the level of 3000 g, the amount of EM4 at the level of 20 ml and the amount of chaff at the level of 400 g and level combination that has the effect of generating a high kalium content value is the amount of rabbit feces on level of 3000 g, the amount of rice bran at a level of 200 g, the amount of chaff at the level of 400 grams and the amount of EM4 on the level of 20 ml.

Abstract

Abstract It takes a good maintenance management at any company to be able to run the production process effectively and efficiently. However, in practice often attempt maintenance or repair only be a waste, because the maintenance team does not know clearly the problems that occur and the factors. The purpose of this study was to measure the value of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), determine the magnitude of each factor of six big losses that affect the effectiveness of the defekator I machine, and an analysis of the factors that a top priority as the basis for repairs. In this study the method used Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and OEE six big losses to measure the performance of the machine for six months and to determine the factors of the six factors in the six big losses that give the most impact on the effectiveness of the defektor I machine. Based on the results of data processing, Overall Equipment Effectiveness value defekator I machine in purification station PT. Perkebunan  XY, the ideal situation is achieved only in August and October with OEE value of 85.53% in August and 85.29% in October. Meanwhile, in June, July, September, and November OEE values are respectively 84.87%, 80.47%, 84.63%, and 76.89%. The results of the calculation of the six big losses, it is known that loss and rework loss breakdown is a factor with the largest percentage for the low effectiveness of the defekator I machine with a percentage of 63.57% for the breakdown loss and rework a loss of 24.23%. OEE and OEE value of six big losses are the basis for the provision of the proposed improvement.

Abstract

Abstract This research examine cutomer level of satisfaction at service and repair in Toyota Hadji Kalla that aim to determine attributes which are priorities at PGCV index analysis. Method used in this study is servqual. This method is a tool used to measure quality of service attribute of each dimension (tangible, reliability, responseiveness, emphaty, and assurance). So we get the value of gap from different value between perception and expectation in customer value. This research followed  by Potential Gain Customer Value (PGCV) method. Based on the survey results , the overall value of the average interest rate is 4.435 and the average value of the performance level is 3.924 , which means there is a gap between the service desired by the customer service received by 0.511 . By using PGCV index priority improvements to enhance the level of customer satisfaction is the availability of the quantity of automobile parts and components that meet the needs of customers , employees BPPT HK able to meet the delivery schedule of the vehicle as promised schedule , as well as employees of HK BPPT has properties polite , friendly , honest , and trustworthy.

Abstract

Abstract South Sulawesi is a central Sulawesi Economic corridor flagship program in fisheries and marine sector. It has not been able to contribute significantly. On the other hand, is currently developing the construction of South Sulawesi instead focused on the development of the urban sector only through the concept Mamminasata (Makassar, Maros, Sungguminasa and Takalar),  whereas the potential wealth of marine fisheries and South Sulawesi was very abundant . A development model that is able to integrate urban development and coastal development strategy oriented industrial and marine fisheries in the context of the region to support the Marine Politan Mamminasata as centrum and marine fisheries in Sulawesi. The purpose of this research is to develop a conceptual model related to the concept of holistic development of fisheries and marine industries as well as its relationship to the development of the city, so it can recommend appropriate and effective policies are sustainable. The model is built using system dynamics approach to generate sub system. Subsystem subsystem that is built is the means of production, subsistence fisheries, fish processing subsystem , the subsystem of marketing, supporting infrastructure subsystem, the subsystem income (fishing communities and government), fisheries policy subsystems and subsystem Mamminasata policy.

Abstract

Abstract For products with short life cycle, associated high risk is on the inventory management of finished products. This research took case study on newspaper company in South Sulawesi, which was forced to minimize newspaper return in order to operate in a more eficient level in high competition environment. The aim of this research is to find out the factors that caused newspaper overstock, to count the optimal order quantity with SOQ method (Single Order Quantity) and to compare the new quantity order proposed with the existing method used by the company, in term of return and cost. The result showed that SOQ method could decrease the return and cost caused. On November 2013 and December 2013, there were Rp. 116.844.000 dan Rp 120.112.800 cost saved, and the return also pressed by 48.685 units on November 2013 and 49.795 units on December 2013

Abstract

Abstract Fatigue experienced by most of the public transport drivers cause a decrease in the level of vigilance while driving . The demands of the company or demands to be able to make ends meet cause most of the public bus drivers keep working even in conditions of fatigue so that the condition often causes accidents . To determine the level of awareness of the driver while driving is done by spreading the data collection questionnaire and use vigilance test software . Data obtained by using software vigilance test is Average Reaction Time ( ART ) . The data is then analyzed to see regression correlation relation to the number of variables which are , long drive , long breaks and the number of breaks . From the analysis it was concluded that the ART is directly proportional to the length of time driving or driving , but inversely proportional to the length and number of rest breaks , where the longer breaks and more breaks then the value of ART will be smaller .

Abstract

Abstract There are many small industryy that manufacture parts and accessories two-wheeled. Production process of parts and accessories has been done in the welding process. Welding is a common method used to connect the metal permanently. The results of observation on welding process identify there are many problems faced by operators of welding process. Welding facilities are not ergonomic and resulted in complaints of the welding operator. Results of nbm questionnaire given to operators welding showed that there are many complaints from operators. To solve the problems, this paper propose repairing on a working position and design work facilities that match with the anthropometry operators and then propose the additional aids ( jigs and a fixture ) for operators.
