Abstract

In the world of education today must also be changed according to the development of science and technology for example in the E-learning education. Because with E-learning the delivery of information content is not only an educational goal, but with media E-learning, learning activities can be done anywhere at any time without being limited by space and time. But in the reality, on the courses of science basic concept 2, students conduct learning activities only in classrooms with considerable time and with the same activities. So that students tend to be bored. Based on these explanations, the purpose of this study was to develop E-learning (valid, practice and effective) using student learning portals in the science basic concepts  2 in the disruption era. The type model of development research in this development research is the modification of the Borg & Gall and Lee & Owen models with the stages of research and data collection, planning, product development, design validation, design revision, product testing, product revision, and usage testing . Based on the results of product testing, E-learning media using student learning portals on the courses of science basic consep 2 in the disruption era according to substance experts obtained a percentage validity score of 88%, 89% media experts, and 86% linguists with valid categories. Based on students' practicality response, this product obtained a score of 80% based on the user's practicality score of 90%. While the effectiveness of this product reaches 80% in the effective category. Based on these data it can be concluded that E-learning media is valid, practical, and effective. So that E-learning media using the student learning portal in the courses science basic concept 2 in the disruption era is feasible to use.

Abstract

Researchers have an interest in learning in the 2013 curriculum, which discusses the scientific approach. This research was conducted at elementary School of Jatidukuh Mojokerto class II. The purpose of this study is to determine the planning, process, and assessment of learning with a scientific approach as well as the constraints in learning activities.. This study uses qualitative, data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Analysis of the data in this study used the field model of Miles and Huberman (1992). The results of this study are (1) teachers do not prepare their own lesson plans, (2) the implementation of learning has not been maximized, (3) learning has not been carried out in accordance with the lessons discussed in the 2013 curriculum. The constraints faced by both teachers and students are (1) limited time, (2) lack of understanding of the scientific approach, (3) limited learning resources, and (4) the use of conventional learning that is difficult to eliminate because it is not used. Therefore there is a need for monitoring from the school principal to be able to improve the ability of teachers in teaching.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of contextual learning on mathematics learning outcomes with covariable numerical ability and verbal ability. This research is a quasi experimental research with single factor design of group design with use of covariate. The population in this study were Grade VI students of Elementary School Cluster I District of Negara. Sample in this study amounted to 67 students determined by random sampling technique. Data were collected with mathematics learning outcomes, numerical abilities and verbal skills. The results showed that there were differences in learning outcomes of Mathematics between students who followed contextual learning with students who followed conventional learning and there is contribution of numerical ability and ability verbal of Mathematics learning outcomes

Abstract

This study aimed to find out whether there is influence of reward toward motivation and mathemathic cognitive test result of the 4th grade student in 1st Karangan elementary school. The method of this study was quantitative. The types of study was quasi eksperimental with design of study was nonequivalent control group design. Population of this study was 4th grade student. Sample was selected using saturated sampling. Data collection technique used questionnaire and test. The data analysis technique used MANOVA test. MANOVA test output show that signivicance of Pillai?s Trace, Wilks? Lambda, Hotelling?s Trace, dan Roy?s Largest Root  was 0,00. The conclusion was there is influence of reward as  an effort to increase motivation and cognitive test result for student 4th grade of Elementary School 1 Karangan

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) test the validity of the smart exploding box based on deep dialogue critical thinking and its tools (syllabus and learning implementation plan, PKn textbook based on deep dialogue critical thinking, and learning achievement test); (2) Measuring the level of student activity through the use of the media; (3) Measuring students' critical thinking skills after the use of the media, and (4) measuring the response of students' interests after the use of the media. The research method carried out using the Plomp development model (in Khabibah, 2006) consisting of: (1) Initial investigations, (2) Design, (3) Realization / construction, (4) Testing, Evaluation, and Revision, (5) Implementation . From the results and discussion in the section above, it was concluded that, the media and learning tools developed in this study were included in the valid category, where the results of the validity of media experts got a score of 25 (good) and material experts got a score of 24 (good). Based on the results of trials at the 1st and 2nd learning meetings that have been carried out in this study found a new data that the use of this media in Civics subjects in class V SDN Ketajen I Sidoarjo showed that the average percentage of student achievement in one class (7) the observation aspect during 2 meetings) is very high, which is 84%. Then the critical thingking test result data is 81.15 (complete). In addition, this media also received a good student interest response, namely at the last meeting (2nd) getting an attention score of 17.5 (very good), evidence of 11.0 (good), satisfaction (satisfaction) of 7.0 (enough), and relevance of 8 (enough).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe: (1) the understanding of the AL-Muslim elementary school teacher Waru Sidoarjo about authentic assessment; (2) the problems experienced by AL-Muslim elementary school teacher Waru Sidoarjo in implementing authentic assessments; (3) efforts made by AL-Muslim elementary school teacher Waru Sidoarjo in overcoming the problems faced in implementing authentic assessments. This study uses a qualitative approach type of case study. Data collection techniques using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of the study show that; (1) the teacher has mastered the concept of assessment and the concept of authentic assessment, (2) the problems faced by the teacher in the implementation of authentic assessments are many aspects assessed and techniques used, time availability, student characteristics, number of students, and individual teachers, (3) The teacher makes several efforts to overcome the problems faced in implementing authentic assessments, including discussing with colleagues and adding references to authentic assessment.

Abstract

Based on interview and documentation in Ngino 2 Elementary School, sub-district Semanding, district Tuban, student?s ability to write poetry was till poor, eight students the value reached the criteria, meanwhile sixteen students the value reached under the criteria, so value percentage only got 3,3% classically. The purpose of this research was to increase ability to write poetry for 4 graduates at SDN Ngino II Semanding. The type of this research was Class action esearch with research procedure that consists of four steps: planning, observation, action, reflection. Subject of research was students grade V, having 24 students. The techniques of collecting the data were test and documentation with instruments of test and documentation. The technique of data analysis was calculating the value reached the criteria of each person and making a percentage classically. The result of research was the ability to write poetry of Indonesian Language, checked by data of pre cycle reaches 33,33%, this means from 24 students as many as 8 students the value reached the criteria, meanwhile in the first cycle student?s ability to write poetry reached with 62,5%, this means from 24 students as many as 15 students the value reached the criteria and the ability to write poetry in the second cycle with 83,33%, this means from 24 students as many as 20 students already reached the criteria. The increase obtained in the first cycle and the second cycle  were 20,83%. This showed the LIPIRTUP method could improve the ability to write poetry.

Abstract

Based on the results of preliminary observations at SDN Gedongombo III obtained data that from twenty-seven of students, who achieved mastery learning on the material structure of the earth and the sun there were seventeen of students. One reason is the selection of media that is not appropriate when learning takes place. The selection of the right learning media can stimulate students to be enthusiastic in learning, so that learning outcomes can increase. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of effectiveness of earth and sun structure papercraft media on science learning outcomes of fifth grade students of Gedongombo III Elementary School Semanding Tuban. The research method used was an experimental method with quasi-experimental research. The design used in this study is One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. This research was conducted on the fifth grade students of Gedongombo III elementary school, amounting to 27 students. The instrument in this study is a test sheet of student learning outcomes of of fifth grade students material on earth and sun structure. The results showed that there were differences in the average learning outcomes of elementary school students before and after using the paper and earth structure media of the sun with a value of t = -9.144 and p = 0,000. The average learning outcomes of elementary school students after using paper and earth structure media papercraft is higher than the average student learning outcomes before using paper and earth structure media suncraft. This study also proves that the media papercraft of the earth and sun structures have a moderate level of effectiveness for fifth grade students of Gedongombo III Elementary School in Semanding Tuban.

Abstract

Efforts to realize quality learning in the face of the 21st century, the role of teachers or prospective teachers who have qualifications has the ability to have 21st  century skills. This study aims to determine the ability of early 21st  century skills so that it can be used to improve the quality of learning. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study with 30 students as samples. The ability of 21st  century skills includes critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the ability of the early 21st century PGSD Unirow student skills still showed low results. These results are shown from the average ability to think critically students show an average yield of less than 30%, communicative ability is less than 50%, collaborative ability and cooperative thinking is less than 45%. The solutions that can be offered are the need for learning through the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model, cooperative learning models and other learning models that can improve students' critical, creative, collaborative and communicative thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the dancing skills of deaf students with the help of a medium of Balinese dance dictionary for class IV students of SD Negeri 2 Bengkala. This type of research is qualitative research. Data collection of this research is carried out through a process of documentation, interviews and tests in the form of practice. Based on the results of the final analysis that has been done, it can be seen that the percentage of the dancing skills of the two deaf students is different. Research using the Dictionary of Dance Media can greatly provide a positive influence in improving dancing skills in deaf students. This can be seen from the contents of the dance dictionary inserting interesting images and codes that make it easier for students to understand the application of dance. In the media this dance dictionary will contain an image of the movements that exist in the dance that will be danced, namely the Rejang Dewa dance. The pictures of the movement will be made and displayed in stages in accordance with the flow of movement in the dance. In addition to images, in this dictionary will also contain writing like the codes in each of these movements. For deaf children, to master the elements of motion, space, energy, time, and expression, which includes position, level, range, direction, position, and speed of movement and formation, is not too difficult. By looking at the model (dance teacher) they can gradually imitate well. One of the main difficulties that is often faced is the fact that children find it difficult to adjust precisely between movements and rhythms Through the media the dance dictionary is expected to have the ability of students to develop their interests and talents in teruma dance in deaf children, but in practice, researchers find differences the ability of students' interests and talents is very different in two deaf students. The difference is seen from the enthusiasm and interest of deaf students to take part in the application of the Rejang Dewa Dance. So, there is an increase in the dancing ability of deaf students with the help of the Rejang Dewa Dance Dictionary which uses hand and foot codes in its application
