Abstract

At the age of elementary school children still view an object into a unified whole (Holistic). Along with the development of the era that began to enter the curriculum of 2013 in which the learning has been centered on thematic learning. In thematic learning process is very concerned about the level of thinking of students who still look at something is one part intact. The purpose of this research can be formulated as follows: Knowing the implementation of thematic learning oriented to Multiple Intelligences in elementary school Muhammadiyah 9 Malang, describe the constraints experienced by teachers in implementing thematic learning oriented to Multiple Intelligences in elementary school Muhammadiyah 9 Malang, and describe the way teachers overcome the constraints of implementation Thematic learning oriented to Multiple Intelligences at elementary school Muhammadiyah 9 Malang.              The research method used include (1) design, (2) research type, (3) implementation of research, (4) research instrument, (5) data analysis. Descriptive research is one type of qualitative research, namely research based on natural data in the form of words in describing the object under study through the activities of collecting data from a natural setting. Data collection in this research is done by observation, interview and documentation. To collect the data, this research uses the instrument in the form of observation sheet of teacher and student, interview guide. Data analysis is done descriptively both qualitatively and quantitatively.              In the linguistic intelligence of teachers in elementary school Muhammadiyah 9 Malang is more likely to facilitate students with writing, discussing, sitting in groups. In the logical math intelligence of the average teacher of the initial class by asking students to come forward with a concrete object. The visual-spatial intelligence of teachers develops them using images, poster images and audio visuals, while for improving kinesthetic intelligence by inviting learners to pat, hand movements or experiment with foot activities. In musical intelligence teachers tend to use memorizing short letters tilawati songs. In the development of interpersonal intelligence teachers more often ask students who are more able or understand to help their friends who can not. Development of intrapersonal intelligence with teachers allows students to learn on their own. In the naturalist intelligence teachers are more likely to tell the activities associated with nature. Constraints faced by teachers while implementing thematic learning oriented to Multiple Intelligences are difficult teachers to develop eight intelligences at a time. How to overcome the obstacles in thematic learning oriented to Multiple Intelligences that is by solving the materials in accordance with the level of Multiple Intelligences.   Keywords: Learning Tematics, Multiple Intelligences

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini secara umum bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran IPA yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SD. Oleh karena itu, secara umum jenis penelitian ini dapat dikategorikan sebagai penelitian pengembangan. Hal ini dilakukan karena perangkat pembelajaran dengan model problem based learning untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis belum tersedia. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan menggunakan model 4-D yaitu pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan penyebaran. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah perangkat pembelajaran yang diuji cobakan pada siswa  SDN Karang Tengah 5 Ngawi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat valid, keterlaksanaan pembelajaran terlaksana dengan baik sebesar 100%. Aktivitas siswa terlaksana dengan baik. Peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa secara konsisten di dua kelas (kelas IVA dan IVB) mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dan tergolong dalam kategori peningkatan tinggi dengan N-Gain rata-rata sebesar 0,75. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan temuan-temuan sebagai dasar utama dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dapat dinyatakan sebagai perangkat pembelajaran yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Implikasi penelitian yang dapat ditarik adalah pembelajaran IPA dengan model problem based learning dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive multimedia on Civic Education learning oriented value clarification techniques that are valid, practical, effective, and interesting for students. Interactive multimedia is selected to maximize available technological facilities, innovate learning and enhance learning attractiveness. Value clarification techniques are used to innovate a series of learning steps on interactive multimedia and can be used to train students to discover, select, analyze, decide, take on their own values ​​of life they want to fight for. The material on this multimedia is about legislation. The models used in this development study are modification of Borg & Gall (1987) and Lee & Owen (2004) models. Through expert validation and product trials, this interactive multimedia is included in valid criteria (4,60), practical (4,53), attractive (4,31), and effective (85,2). Abstract

In the 2013 curriculum the learning materials in primary schools are packaged in an integrated thematic learning model. Although the materials and learning processes are conducted in an integrated manner, the taught material should not be independent of the material concept of each load. The material has been contained in the student book. While the learning process is in the teacher book. Material and learning process is crucial in education, so it is necessary to analyze the concept of material in the student book and the implementation of learning. The analysis of the implementation of learning is done in class IV elementary school of Muhammadiyah 9 Malang. The purpose of the analysis conducted in this research are: 1) to describes the study of facts on the content of social studies in the “Indahnya Keragaman Negeriku” theme grade four elementary school, and 2) to describe the study of facts on the content of social studies during the learning of “Indahnya Keragaman Negeriku” theme grade four elementary school. The type of this research is qualitative descriptive research. Data completion technique used in this research is observation and questionnaire of teacher response. Observations are used to describe the study of social studies content facts in the fourth grade students of the Indahnya Keragaman Negeriku theme. While the questionnaire teacher response used to know the study of facts of social studies content that teachers teach to students. Based on the results of research that has been done can be concluded that the study of facts in Sub-theme one material of “suku bangsa dan bahasa daerah” have been implemented well; The study of facts in the Sub-theme two material of “keragaman rumah adat dan pakaian adat di Indonesia” has been well implemented; The study of facts in the Sub-theme three material of “aktivitas ekonomi yang dilakukan” has been well implemented.   Keywords: fact, social studies, learning curriculum 2013

Abstract

This research aim is to improve student achievement in the fourth grade social studies SDN Tamansari 4 Probolinggo City by using a scientific approach consisting of observing, asking, trying, reasoning and communicating. The method of this research is classroom action research (CAR) conducted collaboratively between researchers and teachers. The subjects consisted of 30 students with heterogeneous ability. The study was conducted for two cycles, each cycle consisting of two learning meetings. Technique of collecting data is done through observation, interview, documentation and also student achievement test. The results showed there was an increase, both seen from the aspect of participation in opinion, cooperation and complete the task. The result of the students test known in first cycle obtained the average of the class is 71 with the complete student of 22 students or 73,33%. In second cycle, the average class is 77,14 with the complete student of 25 students or 83% (learning mastery criteria ≥ 70). From the data can be interpreted that the application of scientific approach can improve student achievement in the subjects of social studies grade four SDN Tamansari 4 Probolinggo City.   Keywords: scientific approach, learning achievement, classroom action research

Abstract

Teaching materials issued by the government lays out a minimum of effort to do teachers and students to Achieve competency expected. However, The Necessary adjustments to student characteristics and are effective in learning. An alternative solution is by developing teaching materials Sciences natural supplement that can help students to learn science with a scientific approach as mandated by the Curriculum 2013, the roomates which is also effective in learning. The purpose of this study was to Determine the effectiveness of the supplement teaching materials with a scientific approach to the fourth grade of elementary school students. The research method to Determine the effectiveness of the supplement teaching materials using normality test, homogenitas test and t-test (Post-test or Achievement) Data on the effectiveness of teaching materials Obtained from the analysis of attainment and student achievement scores. The analysis Showed that the Obtained Data normality test sig = 0,121. This value is greater than 0,05, the which means that Null hypothesis is accepted or the distribution of normal data. In homogonitas test uses a Levene Test technique that the significant value in engineering Levene Test amount 0,619. The above calculation using a significance level of 5% and a significance value of the Data Showed that p> 0,05. This indicates that the data derived from the Populations with equal variances or both homogeneous group. Based on the analysis, the experimental class has an average value of learning achievement higher at 87,3 Compared with the control class has an average value of 81,17 can be concluded that supplement instructional materials science with a scientific approach effectively to improve student achievement in SDN Brodot I Academic Year 2014/2015.   Keywords: supplement  teaching materials,  scientific, sciences

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' activity and learning achievement in science subjects of natural resource materials using Group Investigation Methods in grade four students of SDN Tambakromo 2. This research belongs to Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subject of this research is the fourth grade students of SDN Tambakromo 2 with the number of students is 22 students. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes after learning by Group Investigation study method. In addition, guidance from teachers also helps in the learning process. In first cycle the average score reaches 63, and in second cycle the average score reaches 69. For the students' learning completeness, on the first cycle reached 63.18%, while in the second cycle reached 77.27%. Thus, the fourth grader of SDN Tambakromo 2 has achieved a learning mastery in a classical manner. From the results of the study also showed an increase in student learning activeness. This can be seen from the percentage of students' learning activity in first cycle is 31.81%, increased in second cycle to 63.53%. The increase from first cycles to second cycle is due to students being able to investigate themselves as well as in groups of existing problems, so that students can solve and find answers to the problems.   Keywords: activity, learning achievement, group investigation learning

Abstract

Abstrak: Peneliti menemukan beberapa masalah dalam proses pembelajaran kelas IV SDN Tambakromo 2 Ngawi antara lain: (1) sebanyak 5 anak dari 20 siswa yang aktif dalam mengikuti pembelajaran dengan hasil yang baik atau sebesar 25%, jumlah anak ini adalah siswa yang mau dan berani bertanya. (2) sebanyak 15 anak yang dalam kategori sedang dan sangat pasif dalam mengikuti pembelajaran atau sebesar 75%. (3) sebanyak 8 anak dari 20 anak atau sebesar 60% hasil ulangan hariannya masih dibawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 07 Mei 2016 sampai dengan 22 Mei 2016. Penelitian ini menyajikan hasil observasi aktivitas dan hasil belajar yang diperoleh dari nilai observasi dan tes evaluasi setiap siklus. Pada siklus I aktivtas siswa rata-rata mencapai 70,45%. Sedangkan hasil belajar mencapai 73,2 dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 11 orang. Pada siklus II aktivtas siswa rata-rata mencapai 88,64%. Sedangkan hasil belajar mencapai 81,2 dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 17 orang. Pada siklus III peningkatan nilai rata – rata aktivitas siswa 97,73%. Sedangkan hasil belajar mencapai 85,7 dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 19 orang. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa Penerapan pendekatan saintifik dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV SDN Tambakromo 2 Ngawi.   Kata Kunci : Pendekatan Saintifik, Pembelajaran IPS, Aktivitas dan Hasil Belajar IPS

Abstract

This research is a quantitative research that aims to know the difference between the use of model Numbered Head Together and Think Pair Share on student learning outcomes subjects IPS Class four SDN Pilangbango District Kartoharjo Madiun City. Determination of the sample in this study using a saturated sample of 44 fourth graders A and fourth grade students B SDN Pilangbango District Kartoharjo Madiun City. Collecting data using the test. In analyzing the data used statistical methods with the formula t-test. Numbered Head Together Model is learning to use numbers to make the learning process aims to help students develop students' thinking skills to think critically, creatively, and be able to master the learning well. While the Think Pair Share model is an instructional model that involves two students who were in discussions, in order to interact with fellow seatmate for learning it can be well understood. Data were collected by the test. Data used test is the result of good post test experimental class students Numbered Head Together and Think Pair Share class experiment to determine the learning model used there is a difference or not the results of social studies grade four SDN Pilangbango. Analysis of the data in this study using a t-test formula. Through analysis of the t-test is obtained: t = 2.16> table = 1,887 so it can be concluded there is a difference between the use of the model Numbered Head Together and Think Pair Share the learning outcomes of the fourth grade at Pilangbango Kartoharjo District of the City of Madiun.   Keywords: Learning Outcomes social studies, Learning Model Numbered Head Together, learning model Think Pair Share.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar siswa mata pelajaran IPA kelas IV SD N Jetak 01. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas IV SD N Jetak 01, sebanyak 26 siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, dan angket respon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan metode Group Investigation berbantuan media flanelgraf dapat meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD N Jetak 01 pada mata pelajaran IPA. Persentase minat siswa pada pembelajaran mencapai 97% pada Siklus I. Peningkatan hasil belajar terlihat nilai rata-rata 71 pada Pra siklus dan siklus 1 nilai rata-rata menjadi 81.
