Abstract

This research concerns students' interest in deciding to enroll in Business and Technology Vocational Schools in terms of factors that influence students from information obtained through promotional media used by Vocational Business and Technology namely Banners, Brochures, Presentations, Friend Recommendations, Parent Choices , Own Choices, Teacher Recommendations and Others. The purpose of this research is to determine what strategies must be done by the Vocational Business and Technology through the promotional media used. The results of the 60 respondents showed that from eight sources of information about the Business and Technology Vocational Schools obtained by these students, the Brochure ranked first, followed by Parent Choices and then Friend Recommendations. The research method used is a survey using a questionnaire. The data obtained is then analyzed and presented in the form of tabulations.

Abstract

Agirbisnis in the field of food crops, especially Mustard vegetables and rice have favorable prospects. The mustard vegetable farming in the Sokorambi sub-district on a micro scale, is a hereditary effort with traditional methods, the title of this research is: Analysis of the ratio of mustard vegetable growers to rice farmers in Sukorambi District, Jember Regency. The specific objectives of this study are: To find out the reasons why farmers prefer to grow mustard or rice vegetables, to analyze the comparison of farmers' income between planting mustard vegetables and planting rice.The method used for achieving goals is: Profit Analysis, Analysis of farm efficiency with the R / C Ratio approach, Comparison of income of mustard vegetable farmers with rice farmers.The results showed that the R / C ratio for the two commodities is greater than one, which shows that it is worth trying. The advantage of mustard vegetable farmers is significantly different compared to the benefits of rice farmers.

Abstract

Dragon fruit to be one of the flagship products Banyuwangi, but some patterns running inefficient marketing chains with an indication of some farmers receive farmer's share is less than 50% and most marketing agencies involved received benefits irrational. Least efficient marketing dragon fruit is determined by the length of the short marketing channels that lead further on the high and low cost marketing functions that must be removed. The objectives of this study were: 1) Tracing patterns dragon fruit marketing chains are awakened in Banyuwangi, and 2) to analyze margins, marketing efficiency, and elasticity of price transmission dragon fruit marketing. The type and method used in this research is descriptive and survey conducted in 2016 - 2017 some of the districts in Banyuwangi and Jember with sampling techniques through incidental and snowbolling sampling and data collection techniques in depth interviews and observations of the 32 respondents merchants, The results of this study concluded that: 1) Marketing of dragon fruits in the study area is formed of three patterns of chain marketing, where marketing agencies involved include, Small traders, merchant wholesalers, traders wholesalers, and retailers, each of which performs the function of different marketing, and 2) the results of the analysis of marketing margins dragon fruit showed that the pattern of the third chain is the most efficient marketing chain and patterns I chain most inefficient as indicated by the farmer's share of respectively 55.45% and 45%. The marketing price transmission elasticity Et dragon fruit (0.4) <1 or run inefficiently.

Abstract

Marketing mix consisting of a variable product, price, place, and promotion. This study aimed (1) to determine the effect of product variables (X1), price(X2), place (X3), and promotion (X4) on consumer purchasing decisions (Y) UKM Jamal Gemstone simultaneously or partially. (2) To determine which variables are the most dominant on consumer purchasing decisions UKM Jamal Gemstone. By using descriptive and analytical methods. The analytical tool used in this study are as follows : (1). classical assumption ( normality test, multicolinearity test, heterokedastisitas test), (2). Hypothesis testing ( Multiple Linier Regression Analysis, test F, test t, Analysis Of The Coefficient Of Determination (R2 )). The results of the study showed that all marketing mix variables (independent) positif and significant impact on consumer purchasing decisions (dependent). Results of F count of 65,872 with a significance level 0,000 < 0,05 supported test results of determination (R2 ) of 0,724 this means it has been explained that the marketing mix 72,4% influence the consumer’s decision 27,6% influence by other variables. The results of the test t variables that influence the price.

Abstract

The financial performance of the bank describes the financial condition of banks in a given period. The financial performance of bank can be categorized by looking at a bank’s net profit change. Net profit change used by user of financial statements to determine whether there is an increase or decrease in profit, so it can be used as a guide for future managerial decisions. The purpose of this study was to: (1) analyze the NPL is a determinant of commercial bank’s net profit change in Indonesia, (2) analyze the IRR is a determinant of commercial bank’s net profit change in Indonesia, (3) analyze the LDR is a determinant of commercial bank’s net profit change in Indonesia, (4) analyze the ROA is a determinant of commercial bank’s net profit change in Indonesia, (5) analyze the NIM is a determinant of commercial bank’s net profit change in Indonesia, (6) analyze the BOPO is a determinant of commercial bank’s net profit change in Indonesia, (7) analyze the CAR is a determinant of commercial bank’s net profit change in Indonesia. Data used in this research is secondary data. The population in this study is the banks listed on the Indonesia Bank in the period 2011–2015. Taking the number of samples by purposive sampling method used multiple linear regression analysis. The test results and data analysis were performed with SPSS 21 showed that: NPL, IRR, ROA, and NIM are determinant of commercial bank’s net profit change in Indonesia; LDR, BOPO, and CAR ratio are not determinant of commercial bank’s net profit change in Indonesia.

Abstract

One of the most important thing of transportation is a motorcycle which is able to comply the level of people needs, because using a motorcycle can support various kinds of people activities to become more practical, economical and easy to drive.This research was intend to analyze the strategy of brand awareness Piaggio Vespa motorcycle in Jakarta, through elements Top of Mind, Brand Recall, Brand Recognition dan Unaware of Brand. The result of this study indicate that strategy of Brand Awareness Piaggio Vespa has been Top Of Mind which has made Piaggio Vespa the first scooter motorcycle to be caught by all respondents. Strategy of Brand Awareness Piaggio Vespa with Brand Recall approach, respondents stated that Piaggio Vespa is a type of scooter that is often heard whwn meeting friends or family. Meanwhile strategy of Brand Awareness Piaggio with Brand Recognition approach, respondents stated that Piaggio Vespa is a type of scooter that has good quality, proven technology and affordable price. Piaggio Vespa is not included by Unaware of Brand category.

Abstract

This study discusses aspects of government policy, socio-cultural and economic aspects, aspects of the role of related institutions; Human resource aspects, financial aspects, production and operational technical aspects, and market and marketing aspects of the performance of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the city of Surabaya. The analysis was carried out using descriptive and inferential using multiple linear regression analysis of 100 samples of Small and Medium Enterprises that had permits in Surabaya City. Based on the results of the study it is also known that of the seven independent variables included in multiple linear regression models, six independent variables have a positive and significant influence on the performance of MSMEs, namely aspects of government policy; aspects of the role of related institutions; Human Resource Aspects; financial aspect; production and operational technical aspects; and market and marketing aspects. While one independent variable that does not have a significant influence on the performance of MSMEs is the socio-cultural and economic aspects (X2). The results of this study also show that the independent variable of human resources (X4) has a dominant influence on the variable according to MSME Performance Performance (Y)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of consumer decisions in taking mortgages at Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk Jember Branch. This study uses Chi-square analysis to determine the relationship between factors that influence consumer behavior (which consists of (1) requirements, (2) credit interest rates and (3) credit installment subsidies) also uses Coeficient Contingency analysis to know the effect on decisions consumers in taking mortgage loans at PT. Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk Jember Branch the population in this study were consumers who took mortgage loans at PT. State Savings Bank (Persero) Tbk. Jember Branch. The total population is 200 respondents where the sample uses the non probability quota sampling method which is a sampling method in which the subjects to be studied are determined in advance of the amount. The number of samples is 50% of the number of respondents as many as 100 The results of the study show that Based on the results of calculations using Chi-square analysis and Coeficient Contingency analysis, the credit application requirements, credit interest rates and credit disbursement realization factors, there is a significant relationship and influence on customer decisions in taking credit at PT. Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk Jember branch

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of BPJS health insurance payments on accounting for hospital income. The study was conducted at the PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping hospital. This study uses a qualitative approach, data obtained from interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping hospitals implemented a BPJS health insurance payment system in the form of a prospective and retrospective combination. The existence of this BPJS payment system method has an impact on accounting for hospital income where cash inflows are delayed, however, PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping hospitals can overcome this by setting aside reserve funds that have been budgeted at the beginning of each year. Therefore the PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping hospital does not experience continuous losses due to differences in BPJS health insurance rates.

Abstract

The research objective was to analyze the large number, number of customers, and interest rates on the loan distribution of PT Pegadaian Branch of Jember Regency.The type of data used in this study is secondary data consisting of time series data on income, number of customers obtained through the pawnshop office which is the object of research and interest rates for the period 2013-2017 obtained from BI which is the object of the research. The data is processed using computer software "SPSS 22" with multiple regression analysis methods. The Pawnshop Branch of Kabupaten Jember is very positive and significant towards lending to PT Pegadaian Branch of Kabupaten Jember, while the Interest Rate does not significantly influence the lending of PT Pegadaian Branch of Kabupaten Jember. Together, it focuses positively and significantly on the loan distribution of PT Pegadaian Branch of Jember Regency
