Abstract

Counseling as technology of humanistic help needs appropriate strategy, so service subject gets advantage for itself. Bibliocounseling constitutes one of the help strategies by using information in the source library. This strategy can be made use of helping the client to improve health and so on. In order that, the counselor needs expansion bibliocounseling: goal, characteristic, client’s problem, material, method, and evaluation. The result of bibliocouseling has been planned that can be presented with technique of self-management, minimal contact, management counselor, and counselor’s direction. Its application, of course, it pays attention of principle such as truth and powerfulness information, efficient, advantage, client activity, and interest.

Abstract

This research is aimed to define the relationship bet-ween perception to democracy of the father and mother parenting style with adolescence’s discipline behaviour. The method of data collecting that used is the scale of adolescence’s perception to democracy of the father parenting style, the scale of adolescence’s perception to demo-cracy of the mother parenting style, and the scale of adolescence’s discipline behaviour. All of the scales used by Likert Scale Model consists of four alternative responses. The data analysis is used by regression analysis technique. The result of the research indicated that: (1) there is significant and positive correlation between adoles-cence’s perception to democracy of the father and mother parenting style with adolescence’s discipline behaviour, (2) there is significant and positive correlation between adolescence’s perception to demo-cracy of the father parenting style with adolescence’s discipline beha-viour, (3) there is significant and positive correlation between adoles-cence’s perception to democracy of the mother parenting style with adolescence’s discipline behaviour. The conclusion of this research that the alternative hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

The term of Islamic education has been concerned seriously by the Moslem scholars. It is proven that many theories of Islamic education were made either by local authors or international ones. The theoretical framework of Islamic education has been related to the terms of tarbiyyah, ta’dīb, and ta‘līm. There are many philosophical reasons stated by scholars in supporting to use one of the terms. For example, the term of tarbiyyah is regarded with the representative term of Islamic education than the terms of ta’dīb and ta‘līm.

Abstract

This research is aimed out implementation of govern-ment policy toward private Islamic schools before the role UU SPN No. 20 Year 2003. In reality, the policy of government did not run effectively, even it did not give advantages for private Islamic school, because the application is restricted to curriculum development. The Government has tried to perform several Islamic schools in order to be followed by private Islamic schools such as state Islamic schools, Islamic school for Islamic program, integrated school and so on. How ever, the Islamic private schools cannot run together with state schools because they face problem on financial and facilities of educational standard.

Abstract

There are some schools in education such as; Pessi-mism, Optimism, Convergence, and Islam has view point that man has potential to be educated (Homo Educandum), the talent and environment constitute two convergence lines strive one focus, that is the man development, besides that as creature who can be educated, the man also needs education in order to develop himself. Because, as human being, man is substantially has capability to know the highest level, at once place them as social creature and cultural one that his growing and developing at culture totally, including education and also as human being, man has rational capability, from rational capability the man can study fro what is seen them. The man with this potential can develop himself as caliph who has some excellences from another creature.

Abstract

The study of various methods in the teaching process that supporting the educator to prepare and set achievement process of teaching goal. Teacher, mentor, and facilitator constitute one of the important factors to lead the learners to get better understanding about the material with various ways which have been decided systematically in situation and certain condition. Concerning with, it needs comprehensive understanding to set the use of a method in the teaching process. How variety with method implementation in the teaching process becomes explanation focus in this writing. The understanding and various methods from educational experts with its implementation description presented by hoping can be used to increase the learners’ interest, in order to make easy the goal achieve-ment suitable with subject matter in the teaching process. However, a material is good and complicated, but it is not supported by appro-priate strategy, method, or technique in its presenting will pass by without impression.

Abstract

Evaluation in the world education constitutes an absolute activity, because, evaluation of the development students learning achievement, evaluation subject can be read. Besides that, through evaluation-teacher, lecturer, and manager who involve in a educational institution can know how far and big are the development and growth of teaching program that held in order to achieve the goal which is formulated. Abstract

Belajar bahasa tidak dapat dipisahkan dari belajar budaya. Tulisan ini memuat tentang orientasi budaya dalam kuriku-lum pengajaran bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa asing di Indonesia, khususnya di tingkat sekolah menengah. Nilai budaya dalam EFL dianggap penting, khususnya bagi pelajar Indonesia, karena bahasa tersebut tidak hanya sebagai mata pelajaran yang harus dikuasai, tetapi juga sebagai refleksi budaya dari sebuah masyarakat di mana bahasa tersebut digunakan. Sejauh ini para pelajar memahami bahwa dengan belajar bahasa Inggris mereka akan dapat berkomunikasi dengan masyarakat dunia. Namun, mereka kurang menyadari bahwa ada alasan yang tidak kalah pentingnya dari hanya sekedar dapat ber-komunikasi, yaitu untuk mengurangi kesalahpahaman yang mungkin terjadi akibat minimnya pengetahuan tentang budaya lawan bicara.

Abstract

The traditional blackboard is really very much like a computer screen. It can be used to explain ideas graphically, with text and numbers, and can be used by the students like an interactive interface in a computer. The use of films, videotapes, audiotapes, records, and even performance can enhance the learning process in the classroom. The technique of using media requires creativity and planning. What media are available? How many of them should be used? Do media have psychological effect to students? What is the proper role for teaching with media? Media in the classroom are appropriate for triggering ideas, making difficult subjects more under-standable, and for holding attention on important ideas. They should lead students to remember ideas by becoming more involved with them.

Abstract

In historical study, the woman character constitutes ignoring study. Whereas, the existence of woman always is discussed in some events and some fields, without exception of educational study, even in the classical period until nowadays. But, the woman is merely considered as explanation object. It means it often appears in thought discourse is the women as object thought not as subject thought itself. Therefore, it is worth opening books or scriptures, so that, their indexes are filled with men’s names, moreover, the women’s names are only mentioned if the study talks about woman history. Even though, it does not mean that, there is not woman character appearing and mastering knowledge in some fields. The fields that get attention from woman character namely; Islamic law, poem, and mysticism.
