Abstract

Abstrak: Pendidikan yang diterapkan di Indonesia dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, di antaranya adalah kebijakan politik pemerintahan. Kebijakan-kebijakan pemerin-tah, mulai dari pemerintahan kolonial, awal dan pasca kemerdekaan hingga masa Orde Baru terkesan mengabaikan pendidikan Islam. Hal ini menyebabkan lemba-ga pendidikan Islam memiliki banyak kelemahan yang harus diatasi. Kelemahan itu di antaranya rendahnya sumber daya manusia (SDM), manajemen, dan dana. Karenanya, umat Islam belum mampu mengupayakan secara optimal mewujudkan Islam sesuai dengan cita-cita idealnya; dipandang belum mampu mewujud-kan Islam secara transformatif; dan lembaga pendidikan Islam kurang diminati oleh masyarakat. Kelemahan-kelemahan ini akhirnya dapat diatasi berkat perjuangan dan kesabaran umat dan tokoh-tokoh Islam, perhatian pemerintah semakin lama semakin besar sehingga melahirkan berbagai kebijakan dan per-aturan yang membawa pendidikan Islam dan lembaga pendidikan Islam semakin berperan dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan secara umum di Indonesia.Abstract: Education applied in Indonesia is influenced by various factors; among them is the government policy. Government policies, ranging from colonial rule, pre and post-independence until the early New Order period seemed to ignore Islamic education. This leads Islamic educational institutions to have many weaknesses that must be addressed. The weaknesses among them are low in human resource (HR), management, and funds. They have not been able to be optimally pursued according to Islamic ideals, perceived to be not able to put into realization the transformative Islam, and Islamic institutions are less in demand by the public. These weaknesses can be overcome eventually because of the struggle and patience of the people and leaders of Islam, and more attention has been given by the government that produces various policies and regulations that bring Islamic education and Islamic educational institutions to play an increasing role in Indonesian education generally.

Abstract

Abstract: The development of science and technology has brought about many changes in society life. However, the main concern here is that the changes have caused the existence of moral crisis. This is based on the fact that the development of knowledge in the area of technology and information is not balanced with the development of moral of modern society. The reality of life that drives educa­tional activity continuously to run and change that demand the new acceleration in educational world, especially moral education. Therefore, the concept of moral education still needs to be specifically examined because the concept of moral education is very important in educational world. Moral education is not a new problem. There are many experts that have formulated the concept of education and have taken moral as not a separated part of educational system. Even, moral education has to integrate the spiritual and intelectual aspects and also normatif  and hystorical aspects (reality). The integration of all these aspects will become the core for the balance between the aspects of cognitive (mind), affective (faith), and pychomotoric (deed) in education practices.Abstrak: Perkembangan sains dan teknologi telah banyak memberi perubahan dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Tetapi, yang memprihatinkan adalah perubahan itu justru mendorong munculnya krisis moral. Hal ini didasarkan pada kenyataan bahwa kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan di bidang teknologi dan informasi tidak selalu sebanding dengan kemajuan di bidang moral pada masyarakat modern. Realitas kehidupan yang menggiring aktivitas pendidikan terus berjalan dan berubah-ubah menuntut adanya suatu akselerasi baru dalam dunia pendidikan terkhusus pendidikan moral. Oleh karena itu, konsep pendidikan moral masih perlu dikaji secara spesifik karena konsep pendidikan moral adalah hal yang sangat penting dalam dunia pendidikan. Pendidikan moral memang bukanlah persoalan baru. Banyak ahli pendidikan telah merumuskan konsep pendidikan dan menjadikan moral sebagai bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dari sistem pendi­dikan. Bahkan pendidikan moral harus mampu mengintegrasikan aspek-aspek spiritual dan intelektual serta aspek normativitas dan historitas (realitas). Integrasi keseluru-han aspek tersebut akan menjadi inti bagi keseimbangan aspek kognitif, (akal), afektif (iman), dan psikomotorik (amal) dalam pendidikan secara praktis.

Abstract

Abstrak: Ada  tiga  tujuan  penelitian  ini  yaitu  untuk  mengetahui  hubungan  antara  efikasi diri dengan perilaku organisasi, hubungan antara kepuasan kerja dengan perila- ku kerja organisasi dan peranan kepuasan kerja sebagai mediator dalam hubung- an antara efikasi diri dengan perilku kerja organisasi. Ada tiga skala yang digu- nakan dalam penelitian ini, yakni skala perilaku kerja organisasi, skala efikasi diri guru,  dan  angket  kepuasan  Minnesta.  Penelitian  ini  dilaksanakan  di  11  sekolah agama  yang  berlokasi  di  bagian  Utara,  Timur,  Selatan,  Barat,  dan  Tengah provinsi  Sulawesi  Selatan.  Sampel  terdiri  dari  208  guru.  Hasil  penelitian  ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif dan signifikan antara efikasi diri dan perilaku  kerja  organisasi.  Hasil  penelitian  ini  juga  menunjukkan  bahwa  ada hubungan  positif  dan  signifikan  antara  kepuasan  kerja  dengan  perilaku  kerja organisasi.  Ada  peranan  kepuasan  kerja  dalam  hubungan  antara  efikasi  diri dengan  perilaku  kerja  organisasi.  Hal  ini  berarti  bahwa  efikasi  diri  mempe- ngaruhi  perilaku  kerja  organisasi  guru  di  MAN  dimana  kepuasan  kerja  sebagai mediasi. Abstract : There are three objectives in this study namely to know the relationship between self efficacy and  organizational citizenship  behavior, relationship between  job satis- faction  and  organizational  citizenship  behavior),  and  the  role  of  job  satisfaction  as mediator in the relationship between self efficacy and organizational citizenship be- havior (OCB). There are three scales used in this research which are organizationnal citizenship  behavior  scale,  teacher  self  efficacy,  and  minnesta  satisfaction  ques- tionnaire. The study was conducted on 11 religious schools located in a portion of North, East, South, West, and the Middle of South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The popu- lation of the research was 208 people then are used as a sample. Result of study was resulted that a positive and significant relationship between self efficacy and organizational citizenship behavior. Then, there is a positive and significant relation- ship  between  job  satisfaction  and  organizational  citizenship  behavior.  There  is  the role of job satisfaction in the relationship between self efficacy and  organizational citizenship behavior. This means that self efficacy influences teachers organizational citizenship behavior in MAN by job satisfaction as a mediation.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tulisan ini membahas tiga persoalan utama yaitu: Pertama, eksistensi dan prob­lematika pendidikan Islam. Kedua, upaya peningkatan mutu pendidikan Islam ber­basis kompetensi. Ketiga, peran pendidikan Islam dalam pengem­bangan ku­rikulum berbasis kompetensi. Kajian dalam tulisan ini menemukan bahwa prob­lematika utama pendidikan Islam di lembaga pendidikan saat ini adalah hanya di­pandang melalui aspek kognitif, tidak dipandang bagaimana peserta didik me­nga­malkan dalam dunia nyata sehingga belajar agama sebatas menghafal dan men­catat. Hal ini mengakibatkan pelajaran agama menjadi pelajaran teoretis, bu­kan penghayatan terhadap nilai agama itu sendiri. Maka peningkatan mutu pen­di­dikan Islam diperoleh melalui dua strategi, (1) peningkatan mutu pendidikan yang berorientasi akademis. (2) peningkatan mutu pendidikan yang berorientasi pada life skill yang esensial yaitu pendidikan yang berlandaskan luas, nyata, dan bermakna.Abstract: This paper discusses three main issues: First, the existence and Problems of Isla­mic Education. Secondly, Improving the Quality of Islamic Education com­pe­ten­cy-based. Third, the role of Islamic Education in Competency-Based Curriculum De­ve­lopment. Study in this paper found that the main problems of Islamic education in educational institutions today is only seen through the cognitive aspect, not seen how learners to practice in the real world so that the extent of religious study and memorize the notes. This resulted in religious studies lessons not the­oretical appreciation of the value of religion itself. So Improving the quality of Is­lamic education is obtained through two strategies: (1) improving the quality of education that is academically oriented. (2) improving the quality-oriented edu­cation is an essential life skill that is broad-based education, real and meaningful.

Abstract

Counseling as technology of humanistic help needs appropriate strategy, so service subject gets advantage for itself. Bibliocounseling constitutes one of the help strategies by using information in the source library. This strategy can be made use of helping the client to improve health and so on. In order that, the counselor needs expansion bibliocounseling: goal, characteristic, client’s problem, material, method, and evaluation. The result of bibliocouseling has been planned that can be presented with technique of self-management, minimal contact, management counselor, and counselor’s direction. Its application, of course, it pays attention of principle such as truth and powerfulness information, efficient, advantage, client activity, and interest.

Abstract

The importance of education has been emphasized repeatedly in the Qur’an and hadith. The hadith of the Prophet Muhammad also emphasise the value of knowledge. In the Qur’an and hadith, the importance of education is explicit; in Islam seeking education is obligatory, and that knowledge is considered to be the path towards greater closeness to Allah. In the hadith term of education or tarbiyah can be found as Talīm, from the root alima (to know, to be aware, to perceive, to learn), Tarbiyah, from the root raba (to increase, to grow, to rear), Tadīb, from the root addaba (to be cultured, refined, well-mannered). The hadith also affirms that there are two important elements that are necessary ingredients in the formulation of a philosophy of Islamic education namely, the goal of education and educational factors.

Abstract

The existence of teacher in educational sector is very important, because, the teacher is one of components instructional system which decides educational quality in the future. In teaching learning process, a teacher is demanded to do the instruction effec-tively and efficiently. Therefore, the use of graphic media in becomes a solution in teaching learning process with verbal teaching in the classroom. By using graphic media in teaching learning process can increase the learner interest and attention and it can also make clear the material is presented. It is very simple and easy to make it relatively cheaper. Besides that, it can help the teacher in teaching and learning process in order to help the leaner to study.

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan pendekatan student-centered learning (SCL) di perguruan tinggi pada proses pembelajaran di tiga jurusan yang berbeda yaitu jurusan sosiologi, filsafat agama dan pendidikan bahasa Arab di UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. Ada dua permasalahan pokok dalam penelitian ini yakni bagaimana proses pembelajarannya serta apa strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan pada tiga jurusan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran pada mata kuliah metodologi penelitian di jurusan sosiologi, mata kuliah filsafat India di jurusan filsafat agama dan mata kuliah bahasa Arab di jurusan pendidikan bahasa Arab telah menggunakan pendekatan SCL, meskipun proses pembelajaran dari ketiga jurusan itu menggunakan strategi yang berbeda. Strategi pembelajaran pada mata kuliah metodologi penelitian di jurusan sosiologi menggunakan strategi pembelajaran interaktif dan pengajaran terbimbing (guided teaching), jurusan filsafat agama pada mata kuliah filsafat India mengunakan strategi pembelajaran interaktif, lebih menekankan pada diskusi dan sharing diantara peserta didik, sedangkan di jurusan pendidikan bahasa Arab pada mata kuliah bahasa Arab menggunakan strategi pembelajaran peer lesson yaitu pembelajaran dengan cara mengajar sesama teman.Abstract:This research aimed at comparing student-centered learning (SCL) Approach in the university in three different courses in three departments at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. There were two main problems in this research. They were how was the learning process and what strategy used on those three courses. The result showed that the learning process in the three courses namely research methodology course in the department of sociology, Indian philosophy course in the department of Religious philosophy, and Arabic language course in the department of Arabic language education have used SCL approach in the learning process, even though with different strategies. Research methodology course in sociology department used guided teaching strategy, Indian philosophy course in Religious philosophy department used interactive learning strategy since that course emphasized discussion and sharing among the students, and Arabic language course in Arabic language education department used peer lesson strategy, that was the students learned by teaching each other.

Abstract

The performance of educational institution as one of public service sector is always the object of criticism by the community who wish a significant change to achieve, at least, the minimum standard. The standard of educational service may function as a guide in planning, actuating and controlling education in terms of actualizing qualified national education. In this case, an operational concept and policy for improving the quality of services through different approach and methods are badly needed. The concept of TQM originally practised in industry would be an alternative to improve the quality of education both at the national and local level.

Abstract

All individuals wish to get achievement in their activities done, including take formal education institution levels, but their wishes sometimes getting failure and cannot be achieved. There are a lot of students facing some difficulties and they are difficult to overcome them. One of the handicaps is psychological problem, because intrinsically he/she has failure imagination that cannot face the subject or finish his/her task. Bandura states that a construction psychology is called self efficacy. He believes that individual who has self efficacy grow up successful motivation.
