Abstract

The purpose of this study is to (1) find out the influence of organic fertilizers in the formof bio-fertilizer deployment puktan with a dose of 0.4 liters/100 kg of livestock excrement,and starter MOLE with a dose of 0.4 liters/100 kg of excrement of livestock inaccordance with the standardization of Fertilizer compost N0:28/Permentan/SR.130/5/2009,22 May 2009, and 2005 to plant vegetables (spinach, mustard greens andkale), (2) know the size of the dose and manner of bio-fertilizer is most effective in themanufacture of solid organic fertilizers towards growth and crop production (spinach,mustard greens and sprouts land) (3) to know financial analysis results for organicfertilizer which fermented by starter bio-fertilizer MOL and bio-fertilizer Puktan. Thebest results from the various levels of the dose and type of bio-fertilizers will be producedfor the next use to increase the production of vegetable crops in the form of spinach, kaleand mustard greens. All the data obtained were analyzed using analysis of varian, i.e. thefactorial design. When there are different results continued with a real difference testbetween the mean i.e. Duncan (DMRT) Test with SPSS model analysis. From the resultsof the analysis, the use of dose and range of bio-fertilizer in the manufacture of solidorganic fertilizers provide a significant impact towards growth and crop production, themost effective against land Cress plant growth than spinach and mustard greens.Whereas against production, are most effective in plant mustard greens. The results of theeconomic analysis fertilizer prices are fermented with bio-fertilizer starter MOLapparently gained provit larger compared with the fermented fertilizer with bio-fertilizerPuktan (USD 503/kg > Rp 470/kg).

Abstract

This research was conducted in Sanden subdistrict Bantul district with the purpose offinding out: 1) the use of internet by onion farmers and the factors that affect it, 2) Levelitation the technology adoption of onion cultivation and the factors that affect it,and 3) the influence of the internet use and other factors toward technology adoption ofonion cultivation. The method that used in this research was descriptive approach bysurvey technique. The sampling of village and farming groups were done purposively,while the sampling of respondent farmers were done randomly. The number of totalsample was 60 farmers consisted of 30 farmers from Manunggal Farming Group,Srigading Village, and 30 farmers from Phitisari Farming Group, Gadingsari Village.The analysis methods used were proportion test and multiple linier regressionanalysis. The result of this research showed that the use of internet by farmer’s isbelonged to low category. The education and farmer’s attitude positively affected towardthe use of internet, while age and credibility of internet didn’t have significant affect. Thetechnology adoption of onion cultivation by farmer’s is belonged to high category. Therole of the extension worker and the role of farming group positively affected towardtechnology adoption of onion cultivation. The use of internet and motivation didn’t havesignificant affect toward technology adoption of onion cultivation.

Abstract

The coconut sugar agroindustry located in Sumberasri Village of Blitar Regency is thehousehold scale industry. Initially, the coconut sugar producers in Sumberasri village ofBlitar Regency only produced the large size coconut sufar, but in the growth the coconut sugar consumers, in particular in Blitar regency, went into the change of taste inconsuming coconut sugar, a part of consumers assessed that the coconut sugar with smallsize is more practical and efficient. This case encourage coconut sugar producers toproduce the small size coconut sugar for the sake of satisfying the consumer demands.This research has the purposes, namely: To identify the characteristics of the producersof the small size and large size coconut sugar in Sumberasri village Nglegok subdistrictBlitar regency, To identify the reasons of coconut sugar producers to produce the smallsize and large size coconut sugar, To analyze the production cost and income of smallsize and largse size coconut sugar in Sumberasri village Nglegok subdistrict Blitarregency. The research location was in Sumberasri village Nglegok subdistrict Blitarregency with, research objects were coconut sugar producers, research respondents were4 small size coconut sugar producers and 8 large size coconut sugar producers. Based onthe results and discussion obtained that coconut sugar producers produced coconut sugarin 7 workdays with the amounts of small size coconut sugar were 410 kg and for the largesize coconut sugar were 233.5 kg. Whereas, the amounts of average income of the smallsize coconut sugar were Rp. 1,005,651.855 and the large size coconut sugar were Rp.284,685.66, this case obviously different in the production and income of the small sizeand large size coconut sugar.

Abstract

Seaweed is one of the prospective cultivated marine commodity that supports fisheryrevitalization program that is enacted by the government. In the downstream, thegovernment has made many efforts to increase the value added gain from this commodity. One of the efforts is by enacting a value added tax exemption policy throughGovernment Regulation about Import and/or Refferal of Certain Strategic Taxable Goodsthat are Free from Added Value Tax. This policy is enacted to encourage the businessworld especially in agriculture, where it is needed to give easier tax facility byestablishing agricultural products that are Taxable Goods. The purpose of this research isto analyze the influence of value added tax exemption policy that is enacted to domesticseaweed processing industry, towards Indonesia’s processed seaweed export. Indonesiawas the world’s biggest seaweed exporter for the last few of years. The government,through its value added tax exemption policy, aimed to encouraged domestic processingindustry to not only exporting seaweed as the raw materials but also to export processedproducts that have added value. The model used in this research was Error CorrectionModel (ECM). This research found that value added tax exemption policy has positiveand significant influences towards processed seaweed export in the long and short-run.This show that the government’s policy in relation to value added tax exemption waseffective in increasing exports.

Abstract

Agriculture as a central point of development in increasing social welfare, with the effortto increase agricultural product and should be based on existence of effort to affectfarmers. The farmers should be educated, guided, encouraged to join a team so theinteraction among the farmers occured. The aims of this research are to measure  theparticipation level of carrot farmers in farming team, the characteristic relations offarmers social economy with the participation level of farmers. The participation levelwas analized by sums up and scoring the data were found and the characteristic relationsof farmers social economy with the participation level of farmers was analized by usingRank Spearmen correlation. The final research showed that the participation level offarmers in farming team including in high category with the score was 12.03. In partial,there was real relations found between the education level, the frequency in followingobservation, and the amount of obligation with the participation level in farming teamwhile the age, farming experience, farm land width, and product which did not have realrelations with the participation level.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is 1. Identify characteristics of elementary students (SD) infollowing the skills of farming skills. 2. Analyze the influence of cognitive / knowledgefactor, psychomotor / skill and affective / attitude toward increasing interest in farming.The method used in the sampling is saturated or census sampling. Data analysis used wasdescriptive analysis and Differentiation Analysis, different test to know the effect of farmskill training on student interest in farming. The results showed that the average age ofgrade 3 students in elementary and non-elementary school was 8.73 years and 8.87 yearsin the low class that tended to adhere to the rules. Gender of respondents of elementaryschool-based elementary students is dominated by female students while nonenvironmentalbasilic elementary students are dominated by male students. girls arefaster to master language than boys, So girls are more likely to understand and captureagricultural training materials than boys. Employment of parents respomden of PrimarySchool-based Elementary students most work as factory workers while Non-EnvironmentBased Non School students are most employed as merchants. In addition, results basedon t-test farming skills have a positive effect on students interest in farming. There is asignificant difference in the students interest in farming using a farming skills trainingmethod.

Abstract

The Agriculture Faculty of the East Java “Veteran” National Development University shall develop the agrotour in the campus area which can be utilized by students and thesurroundings community as the health, pleasant and useful recreation place for itsvisitors. In order that the development of the agrotour meet with the concumersexpectation, it is needed a good planning, in which one of them should consider theresponses and behaviors of the agrotour consumers or consumers to be. The purposes ofthis research are: 1) To study the responses of consumers to the agrotour development, 2)To study the aim of consumers to visit to agrotour, and 3) To study the behavior ofagrotour consumers in the East Java “Veteran” National Deelopment University campus.The result of research found that the largely consumers/consumers to be of the East Java“Veteran” National Deelopment University agrotour agreed or very agreed with thedeveloped the agrotour. The aim of consumers to visit is, prima facie, to relax whileincreasing knowledge. Whereas, the behaviors of agrotour consumers are: 1) Thefrequence to visit mostly once a week, 2) The visiting time mostly at noon and afternoon,3) The trasnportations the consumers utilize mostly motorcycles, 4) The consumersmostly come together with friends or families. The expectations of consumers to theexisting agrotour are, largely, that it is able to be a recreation place and city lungs, to bea medium of environmental conservation and science development and to be a medium ofentrepreneurship development.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze profitability and technich, price, economicefficiency at Puncak Jaya firm. This research was done on April up to Mei 2016. Thekualitative method was applied in mechanism product of layer chickhen and analyze cobbdouglas profit function in profitability and production frontier in technich, price,economic efficiency. Sampling gathering was with purposive sample. The seconder datasto analyze cobb douglas profit function of profitability and production frontier oftechnich, price, economic efficiency. The result of this research was mechanism productof layer chickhen was influenced of  strain isa brown layer, feed for about 112 gr/day  toall of ages. Vaksin were used every two months. The employee were three men. Averageof egg productions were 487 kg per day. Shot scala profit was Rp.33.530.000 everymonth. The profit was negative influenced by DOC (Day Old Chick), Feed, Vaksin,medicine prices but price of employee was positive effect to profit. The technich, price,economic efficiency value were 1.72, 3.37 and 5.83. The efficiency value was more thanone. It means need production factor addition.
