Abstract

This reseach based on the result of ability to analize element of legend story of fifth grade studentsSDN 034 Sukajadi at second semester 2010/2011. From 30 students it was just 40% students achievedclassical completeness meanwhile it should be 80% students achieved within minimum completenesscriterion set in the school was 65,00. The formulated problem in this reseach wether applicationcooperative learning model tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) can improve ability to analizeelement of legend story of fifth grade students SDN 034 Sukajadi Pekanbaru? The aim of this reseachis to improve ability to analize element of legend story with application of cooperative learning modeltipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT). This reseach used classroom action research throughcooperative learning model tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) at fifth grade students SDN 034Sukajadi Pekanbaru within 30 students. This action was done at May 2011. The initial result of abilityto analize element of legend story was 60 with 40% or 12 students got scores above 65 or minimumcompleteness. After application of cooperative learning model tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT)in UH I of cycle I, It was obtained the average score of students’ ability to analize element of legendstory around 68,33 within 60% or 18 students completeness. In UH II of cycle II the average score ofstudents’ ability increased into 78, within 89,91% or 27 students completeness. So that the hypothesesof this reseach “application cooperative learning model tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) canimprove ability to analize element of legend story of fifth grade students SDN 034 Sukajadi PekanbaruSukajadi Pekanbaru”, was acceptan.Keyword: Cooperative, Legend

Abstract

The purpose of this research is that to create even distribution and understanding about life areaeducation to primary school students that will obtain students’ attitudes in doing actionsappropriating to the concept of life area education and create an alternative the development of lifearea education in Pekanbaru based on national curriculum or local curriculum. So that it can givecontribution to the curriculum in in real on the framework of life area education. The data used in thisresearch were primary and secondary data. Primary data sources from survey (direct observation) atschool, interview with stakeholder related to Head of Education Department, headmasters, andteachers. Primary data were also obtained by giving qutionare to headmasters, teachers, and studentsrelated to cognitive, affective, and psychomotor about life area education. Secondary data wereobtained from school condition like document of PLH activities at school and also stakeholders. Basedon the data of school curriculum analysis to life area education that it can be integrated into fivesubjects that are religion, civics, science and technology, art, and physic education. Based oneducation stakeholder analysis that they supported the life area education to put into local curriculumand to be implemented into daily life at school. Based on analysis data on knowledge and attitudesthan primary school students fully understood about life area education, and they have done to careabout school area.Key Words: curriculum analyze, life area education

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze student teachers at Primary School Teacher Education of RiauUniversity in understanding the concepts of measurement perimeter and area. The reason in doingthis research is that many student teachers usually use formal formula in solving measurementperimeter and area. They will do the same thing when they teach Primary School Students, so thestudents will not know how the formula works. Design research was chosen as a method in gettingdata. The data were collected from 48 student teachers at Primary School Teacher Education of RiauUniversity. The result showed that six out of ten group of student teachers did not use partitioning inthe beginning of the lesson. They also made a mistake in measuring the perimeter of unstructuredshapes. After classroom discussion, 96% student teachers came to the idea of partitioning. It meansthat they realized the important of partitioning in measure the area of unstructured shapes.Key words: measurement perimeter and area, design research, partitioning, and unstructured shape.

Abstract

Problems in the research was started from observation that the researchers encountered in the field,Apparently volleyball players did not exactly serve on the target that was predicted to be influenced byan explosive arm muscles and hand-eye coordination. The purpose of this research is to know theextent of the contribution of an explosive arm muscles and hand-eye coordination with serviceaccuracy of students Sports Coaching Education UR. This type of research is correlational. Thepopulation in this study was 52 Coaching Sports Education Student UR. Using purposive samplingtechnique, the sample on this research was 25 students who could up service. To get the dataresearchers used a medicine ball test, ballwerfen Und-Fangen test and accuracy of up services. TheData obtained were analyzed with simple and double product moment and determinant coefficients todetermine contributions. Based on the analysis of the data it was found that there was a significantrelationship between explosive arm muscles with service accuracy, the results obtained were r.count0,428 > r.table 0,396, with contributions amount 18.28%, and then there was a significantrelationship between hand-eye coordination and service accuracy. The results obtained were rcount0,411 > rtable 0,396, with contributions amount 16,91%, and there was also a significant relationshipbetween explosive arm muscles and hand-eye coordination with service accuracy of student SportsCoaching Education UR, was marked by results obtained R.count 0,533 > R.table 0,396, bycontributions 28,44 %.Key words: explosive arm muscle, hand-eye coordination, volleyball service accuracy.

Abstract

Problems in the research starts from the observation that researchers encountered in the field that theability of students in running 100 meters was not so good because it was allegedly affected byacceleration and reaction time. The purpose of this research is to know the relation between reactionand accelerated time towards the achievement of male students on running 100 meters in the secondsemester Penjaskesrek FKIP UR. This type of research is correlasional. The population in thisresearch is 76 male students in the second semester Penjaskesrek FKIP UR using purposive samplingtechnique, and then the sample on this research is 35 male students. Whole Body Reaction Test is usedtp get the data, running 30 meters and 100 meters run test. The Data obtained were analyzed withsimple and double product moment. Based on the analysis of the data it was found that there was asignificant relationship between the reaction time and running 100 meters, marked by the resultsobtained were r.count 0.465 > r.table 0,334, then there was a significant relationship betweenaccelerated and 100 meters, marked by the results obtained were r.count 0,434 > r.table 0,334, andthere was a significant relationship between reaction time and accelerated toward the achievement ofmale students on running 100 meters in the second semester Penjaskesrek FKIP UR, was marked bythe results obtained R.count 0,562 > Rtabel 0,334.Key Words: Reaction Time, Acceleration, running 100 meters.

Abstract

One of the purposes of this research is to save texts from destruction. Text is checked which is inJakarta National Library. Other texts in the form of mikrofis at Leiden University Library do notfigure out in this research because limitation of opportunity and time. Besides that, this research alsoaimed to state messages which consist in the texts. Considering the condition of the texts which arevery worry than it is needed effort to save them. If the effort to save is not immediately done hence thetext will dossolved in few times later. Destruction texts will not only lost one of national cultural butalso will lost values in that texts. From this texts, it can be obtained clear overview about: thinking,culture, trust, and value of society in the last time. Text A is text which was transliterated. This textbecomes basis through comparison two texts namely text A and B. Text A has more complete episodestory than text B. Values in this saga are messages which want to be submitted by author to readers.Those messages are prohibition and suggestion about jima' and fomentations, help each other andlove humanity, govern sholat for every moslem, glorifying parents and teacher, prohibition doing lapand eat illicit food, which all the things are priority messages. Besides those messages there are alsosubordinate messages for example dzikir, comand to learn and to teach science, sleep procedures,govern taubat, and fomentation start the activity using righ hand.Keyword : Islamic Educational Value

Abstract

This reseach form is survey reseach which is done to see the teachers‟ ability inunderstanding punctuation.Tecniques in getting data is that 30 valid questions are given to theteachers. The samples in this reseach are 81 teachers in Tampan district with the level ofprecision 10%. the teachers‟s ability in Tampan district were analyzedbased on category.Among 81 teachers 1 teacher (1,23%) gotthe best category, 31 teachers (38,27%) gotgood,38teachers (46,91) gotfair category , and 11 teachers (13,58) gets less category. Those resultswere got from the test that was given to the primary school teachers in Tampan district. Theaverage score is 63,5 with fair category.This shows that primary school teachers did not passbased on classical completeness 39,50% then it seems that the teachers‟ ability is still low.keyword : punctuation

Abstract

The problem on this researchis is that low students’ achievement on social science in fourthgraderes at SD Negeri 56 Pekanbaru within average score 60 and clasical completenes 40%within minimal completenes criterion stated is 70. The purpose of this research is to improvestudents’ achievement on social science of the fourth graderes in SD Negeri 56 Pekanbaruwith the application of cooperative learning model type Group Investigation. This researchwas classroom action research consisting 2 cycles within 4 procedures: planning, doing,observing, and reflecting, and each cycle consists of three meetings. Instruments on thisresearch are sylabus, lesson plan, and student work sheet. Instruments for collecting data areobservation sheet and test. Data which was collected were learning outcomes and teacher’sactivities during the lessons. After impelentation of cooperatif learning model type GroupInvestigation it was abtained students’ outcomes in UH I within average 70,50 (improvedfrom basic score 17,50%) with classicall completeness 60%. The average score form UH IIwas 80,83 (improved 34,72%) with classicall completeness 81,82%. Teacher activities resultsin the first meeting of the first cycle was 59,38% (fair category), 71,88% (good category) forthe second meeting in cycle I. Meanwhile in the first meeting of the second cycle was 84,38%(very good category), 90,63% (very good category) for second meeting in cycle II. Students’activity in the first meeting of the cycle I was 56,25% 9fair category), 65,63% (goodcategory) ) for the second meeting in cycle I. And then in the first meeting of the secondcycle was 81,25% (very good category), 87,50% (very good category) for second meeting incycle II. Based on this result it can be concluded that the implementation of cooperatiflearning model type Group Investigation can social science in fourth graderes at SD Negeri56 Pekanbaru.Keywords: Cooperatif Group Investigation, Students Achievement the Result Of SocialStudies

Abstract

Learning social science education gives a chance to give some attentions to care and usesurrounding area. Emperical fact in learning social science education before a teacher is onlyperson who gives information that is called teacher centered. Learning materials used focusesinto text books (material in the text books does not adopt and relate into local superiority andwisdom)This research only focuses into development of teaching material of learning socialscience education which has primary school local wisdom basis into competence standart andbasic standart in the first semester of grade IV.This research aims to develop teachingmaterial of learning social science education in Primary School based on local wisdom basiswhich can be used as a reference or supplement by teachers and studetns in learning.Themothod used is research and development design. This research is done into four steps that is1) study literature, 2) research plan, 3) research development, and 4) implementation. Datacollection technique used in this research is using interview, questionnaire, observation,documentations, and test. Meanwhile, triangulation technique and simple statistics are used toanalyze the data. The research showed that 1) teaching materials of of learning social scienceeducation based on local wisdom helps teachers in developing and relating learning materialsin learning social science education with potential of local area especially Siak regency, andb)khususnya di Kabupaten Siak; dan (b) teaching materials of of learning social scienceeducation based on local wisdom helps students to understand potential and condition ofsurrounding area. It is proven by increasing students’ understanding in learning learningsocial science education based on local wisdom from average score in pretest 31,73 into53,85 in posttest within increasing average score 0,33 in fair category.Keywords: local wisdom, and social science education

Abstract

In line with the competency-based curriculum at the University of Riau, the effort to improvelearning basic concepts of science 2 courses puts emphasis on understanding the concept ofmatter, which is based on students' learning activities through scientific inquiry.Implementation of action research consists of two cycles in PGSD JIP University of Riau onthe odd semester of 2013/2014 with 55 third semester students. Based on the research results,lecturing process by applying the model of inquiry learning, students’ activity increased inwhich in the first cycle all activities are good category except activity I and II are faircategory. Meanwhile students’ activity in first and fourth in cycle II is good category, andvery good category in second, third, fifth, and sixth activity. Temporarily student’s learningoutcomes increased from pre-tests with an average65.45 into 77,0 in daily test I and 77.45onthe daily test II. Improvement from initial data to the first cycle was 11.55, while the datafrom the beginning to the second cycle increased 12 points. In general the improvement ofstudents’learning is possible because the learning model used is inquiry learning so thatlearning becomes active which centered into students by presenting a problem, then studentsare asked to carry out a simple experiment using equipment and tools, using data, arrangingreports, communicating the results of observations based on concepts and learned principles.Keywords: Inquiry, students’ activity, learning outcomes.
