Abstract

This study aims to determine the readiness of science teachers in SMP preparing for learning by implementing the 2013 curriculum in SMP Negeri sekecamatan Stabat. The type of this research is quantitative descriptive analysis. The subjects in this study were 2 science teachers SMP Nigeria 1 Stabat, 4 science teachers SMP Nigeria 2 Stabat, and 5 teachers IPA SMP Nigeria 5 Stabat. Data on the readiness of science teachers in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum were collected through questionnaires and observation sheets. The results showed that: Science Teachers of SMP Nigeria in Stabat Sub-district stated ready in preparing the learning curriculum 2013, this can be seen from the average percentage of 79% with the ready category; Science Teachers of SMP Nigeria in Stabat Sub-district have categories ready to prepare the learning tools of curriculum 2013, this can be seen from the data as follows: Average percentage of science preparedness science teachers SMP Nigeria 1 Stabat by 79% with ready category. The average percentage of teachers prepared science IPA SMP Nigeria 2 Stabat 70% with categories ready. The average percentage of preparedness of science teachers of state SMP 5 Stabat is 78% in ready category.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know: (1) problem of learning media on problem learning in mathematics (2) the feasibility of problem-based learning media on the learning of flat matter mathematics, and (3) the effectiveness of problem-based learning video media on learning mathematics of flat wake matter in class V in SD Negeri 101874 Kabupaten Deli Serdang. The subjects of this study are the students of grade V SD Negeri 101874 Batang Kuis with a total of 30 students. This type of research is development research using Thiagarajan development model with Four-D (Model 4-D). The research instruments used were expert opinion questionnaire, student response questionnaire, teacher response questionnaire, and student learning result test instrument. The research findings show: (1) valid problem-based learning video used in learning mathematics of flat wake material in class V SD Negeri 101874 Batang Kuis Kabupaten Deli Serdang, (2) problem-based learning video suitable for learning mathematics of flat wake material in class V SD Negeri 101874 Batang Kuis Kabupaten Deli Serdang, and (3) problem-based learning videos are effectively used in learning mathematics of flat waking materials in class V SD Negeri 101874 Batang Kuis Kabupaten Deli Serdang.

Abstract

This research is classroom action research (PTK) using number head together (NHT) in the class grade 5 SD Negeri 173119. The subjects were fifth grade students who totaled 26 students consisting of 11 male students and 15 female students. The results of research on Cycle I obtained learning outcomes on teacher activity is with the value of 59.5% with sufficient category, while the student activity is with a value of 67.5 with enough category. Based on the established KKM that is 70, completeness of student learning outcomes obtained individually, a thorough student 19 people and 7 unfinished people. Students learning outcomes are classically obtained by 73,08% complete student and 26,92 %  unfinished. Thus from the results of data analysis can be concluded that the implementation of learning by using cooperative learning model NHT on subjects PKn shared decision materials in class V SD Negeri 173119 Peanajagar Tapanuli Utara Lesson 2016/2017 has been categorized well and student learning outcomes have increased.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the difference of problem solving ability and students mathematical creative thinking between students who are given GI model With STAD model in SDN 112292 Kualaberingin. This research is a quasiexperiment conducted at SD Negeri 112292 Kualaberingin. The population of this research is all students of SD Negeri 112292 Kualaberingin and the research sample is the students of class IVA and IVB done by purposive sampling. Research data were analyzed by using descriptive statistic. The results showed that; (1) there is no significant difference in the ability of creative thinking between students who are given GI model with students who are given STAD model; (2) there was no significant difference in problem solving ability between students who were given GI model with students who were given STAD model; (3) there is no significant difference in the improvement of creative thinking ability of students who are given GI and STAD model. There was no significant difference in the improvement of students mathematical problem solving abilities given the GI and STAD models; and (4) there is an average difference in student responses of 1.12.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to observe whether : (1)knowing process  implementation of learning by using Student Facilitator and Explaining Model, (2) the improvement of learn mathematic result throughStudent Facilitator and Explaining Model by subject of FPB and KPK. This study was held at SD Negeri 060798 Medan Area Selatan by subject students of grade IV having 22 students. This study used classroom action research. The results showed that there was increase learn mathematic result studentsfrom cycle I to cycle II. Percentage increase learn mathematic result from cycle I to cycle II is 19,72% with average 59,24 increasing becaome 73,87.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of students’ worksheet (LKPD) based on process skills of science and motivation level learning outcomes of science. This study was a quasy experiment with factorial 2x2 design. The study population is grade IV SD Negeri 164330 Padang Hilir District, Tebingtinggi City, and the sample was chosen by total sampling as two classes. The instruments used is test, motivation questionnaire, and observation sheet of scientific attitude. Data obtained from the study instrument then analyzed with using the two-way anova. The results showed that: (1) the effect of LKPD based on process skills of science towards the learning outcomes of science is better than conventional LKPD; (2) the effect of high motivation towards the learning outcomes of science is better than low motivation; (3) there is an interaction between LKPD based on process skills of science and conventional LKPD with motivation level in influencing learning outcomes of science; and (4) the scientific attitude of students using LKPD based on process skills of science is better than the conventional LKPD. The results of this study suggest that LKPD based on process skills of science and high learning motivation is an alternative choice of teachers in improving students learning outcomes of science.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the implementation of Talking Stick model learning  in improving the students learning outcomes on the subject of civics lesson in the central government system. From the results of research conducted by using Talking Sticks in the first cycle of observation results 69% of teachers and 72 student activity observation is good category. Thoroughness of learning outcomes gained 14 people who finished with a percentage of 54% and 12 who did not complete the percentage of 46% with an average value of 62.26, while in the second cycle, the observation of 76.5 teachers and 84 students observation with both categories. The completeness of student learning outcomes obtained 23 who percentage of students who completed at 88.46% and the 3 people who did not complete with the percentage of 11.54% with an average value of the results of the second cycle of 75.15. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the implementation of Talking Stick model learning on civics lesson in the central government system in class IV private primary school  04948 Gebang improve the students learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce a computer media based on scientific learning to improve counting ability at 5-6 Years at TK Negeri Pembina 1 Medan. Kind of research is the research and development. The subject research is the students of group star-B at TK Pembina Negeri I Medan, amounting to 26 children. The results showed that (1) the level eligibility based computer media scientific study based on: a) the results of validation of the content matter experts on the feasibility of the developed instructional media are included in the category of "Very Good". b) the practical results of the teachers stated that all teachers need media-based computer scientific learning in the learning process while older children enjoy learning and make it easier for children to learn to count by using these learning media. (2) The results of the effectiveness of instructional media developed indicate that the numeracy skills of children after using computer media-based learning scientific higher compared to just using books and posters as a medium of learning in which the average value of initial tests of children, 59 and the final test increased to 79.23.
