Speaking is one of skills in English which is included in productive skill. Speaking is a crucial part of second language learning and teaching. Nowadays, world requires that the goal of teaching speaking should improve students communicative skills, in this part the students can express themselves and learn how to follow the social and cultural rules appropriate in the communicative situation.Teaching English as foreign language in Indonesia is not easy. English teachers, who usually speak English, should prepare techniques which can help them to develop their student’s ability in speaking English. In order to teach learners how to speak in the best way possible, some speaking techniques are provided. Those can be applied to ESL (English as Second Language) and EFL (English as Foreign Language) classroom activities. All techniques and activities in teaching speaking also can widen the student’s global vision towards ASEAN global community in Indonesia right now.
