Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find variable brand image having influence Purchase Decision of Smartphone Android Samsung in Palembang City both in partial and simultaneous. The theory that is concerned with image was Brand Image, which includes 3 things that are Favorability of Brand Association, Strength of Brand Association, and Uniqueness of Brand Association. Samples taken are 100 people which is users of Smartphone Android Samsung, any kind of type, male and female, aged approximately 17-60 years old, and living in Palembang with data collection method is interview. The instrument of analysis used to answer the purpose research in the top is multiple linear regressions. Simultaneously the result of the research is variable brand image affect on Purchase Decision. Partially, this research result indicates thatStrength of Brand Association is significantly on purchase decision. The findings which were found is that there is no significant influence between Favorability of Brand Association and Uniqueness of Brand Association againts Purchase Decision. Abstract

The purposes of this research is to determine the effect of the implementation of safety management systems and occupational health (SMK3) towards the performance of employees at the power plant-CNG Jakabaring (case study on PT. Daruma Mitra Alam) .PT. Darum Mitra Alam has a special department that handles about occupational safety and health (K3) called as HSE department (Health, Safety, Environment). To analyze the data, researchers used descriptive analysis containing any statements from each variable, then the simple linear regression analysis along with hypothesis testing. Simple regression result indicates that the value of R square is 0.191, thus SMK3 variables could explain the variable Employee Performance by 19.1%. Based on these results, we can conclude that SMK3 (X) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y) on PT. Daruma Mitra Alam. Keywords: SMK3, Employee Performance, and HSE

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of current ratio, debt to equity ratio, and BOPO of capital adequacy ratio with return on assets as intervening variable in Islamic Banks Company’s in Indonesia on quarterly 2010-2013 period. The population were all Islamic Bank in Indonesia listed on the Indonesia Bank as many as 11 Islamic Banks. The sample is as many as seven Islamic Banks that the result in which using purposive sampling metods. Analysis technique is used path analysis. The results of the study shown that partially Current Ratio is positive and insignificant effect on ROA, DER is positive and significant effect on ROA, BOPO is negative and insignificant effect on ROA, CR, DER, and ROA is positive and significant effect on CAR, BOPO is negative and insignificant on CAR, ROA have mediating effect on relationship between CR on CAR, ROA have mediating effect on relationship between DER on CAR, ROA did not have mediating effect on relationship between BOPO on CAR. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh brand image dan kualitas produk secara parsial dan simultan terhadap keputusan pembelian (y) konsumen Pizza Hut di kota Palembang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 105 konsumen yang pernah melakukan pembelian produk Pizza Hut di kota Palembang minimal dalam satu tahun terakhir. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah metode purposive sampling. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda dan uji asumsi klasik dengan bantuan program SPSS 16,0 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan (uji F) keputusan pembelian dapat dipengaruhi oleh semua variabel independen dan secara parsial menunjukkan hanya variabel kualitas produk (𝑥2) yang berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian(y) sedangkan variabel brand image(𝑥1) tidak berpengaruh. Variabel kualitas produk (𝑥2) memiliki tingkat signifikasi sebesar 0.000 sedangkan variabel brand image tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikasi terhadap keputusan pembelian (y) karena dilihat dari tingkat sig t yaitu 0.090 lebih besar dari 0.05. Dengan koefesien determinasi R Square (R2) sebesar 30,9% yang berarti variable keputusan pembelian (y) dapat dipengaruhi oleh kedua variabel independen sedangkan sisanya 69,1% dijelaskan oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak dijelaskan dalam penelitian ini. Pihak manajemen Pizza Hut disarankan untuk terus melakukan pembaruan kualitas citra perusahaan dan citra merek agar dapat membentuk persepsi yang positif dimata pelanggan, sehingga dapat membantu menjaga citra perusahaan dan mampu meningkatan penjualan. Abstract

Competence for batik Jambi entrepreneurs in micro and small-sized enterprises (MSEs) have given much attention, regarding to performance of batik Jambi entrepreneurs are decrease. This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of competence to performance of entrepreneur batik Jambi in micro and small-sized enterprises (MSEs) at region of Seberang Jambi City. This study used cencus as the sample collection method, in which the entire amount of the population used as samples. Data had been collected through distribution of questionnaires and interview. Analysis of data in this study used simple linear regression method with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics Version 22. The results of the analysis indicate that the value of R Square of 0,131, which means that competence variable was able to explain the performance variable of 13,1%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that competence has a positive and significant influence to performance of entrepreneurs batik Jambi in micro and small-sized enterprises (MSEs) at region of Seberang Jambi City.Therefore, competence is very important to improve the performance of batik Jambi entrepreneurs in micro and small size enterprises (MSEs).Keywords : Competence, Performance

Abstract

Employee performance will have an impact on both employee and company productivity, which in turn will affect the achievement of corporate goals. Good performance of both the employees and the company makes the leaders keep their employees performance high. In order to improve employee performance, the leaders must understand the factors that influence employee performance. This study analyzes the influence of leadership, motivation, and compensation to employee performance. Data collection was carried out by questionnaires distributed to all employees at Pringsewu Garden Restaurant in Yogyakarta. In this study, data analysis includes validity and reliability testing, hypothesis testing, classic assumption test and multiple linear regressions. Data analysis uses SPSS version 20.00. Based on test validity, all variable statement items of leadership, motivation, compensation, and performance are proven to be valid as indicated by the value of the t (Pearson correlation) > t table 0,349. For reliability test, all variable statement items of leadership, motivation, compensation, and performance are simultaneously or partially proven to be reliable. It is shown by the value of Cronbach s Alpha > 0.06 and the value of Cronbach s Alpha if Item Deleted > 0.06. The results of multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation classical assumption test show that there is no multicollinearity problems among the independent variables, there is no heteroscedasticity in regression models, and there is no autocorrelation. The value of adjusted R Square is 0.822 or 82.2%. It shows that 82.2% of employee performance is influenced by leadership, motivation, and compensation, while the remaining 17.8% is influenced by other variables that are not described in this study. The results of multiple linear regression equation Y = 0.617 + 0.462X1+ 0.381X2 + 0.417X3. Based on t test results, it can be concluded that the variables of leadership, motivation, and compensation partially influence employee performance. Based on F test results, it is concluded that the variables of leadership, motivation, and compensation simultaneously affect the performance of employee. Abstract

This study aims to assess the effectiveness and uptake realization of budget revenues and expenditures in Ogan Komering Ilir government has done well whether or not to achieve the desired objectives. The method used is descriptive quantitative by comparing the Laporan Realisasi Anggaran (LRA) from the year 2013 to 2015. The results of this study can be concluded that the Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Daerah (APBD) has been carried out but is less effective because the ratio between direct and indirect spending nearly proportional or 50%. If this trend continues the next government will have difficulty in carrying out development programs, because the funds available are not comparable with the programs to be carried out. Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of brand, price, and quality of product toward buying decision Samsung smartphone partially and stimultanously. Independent variable in this research was brand (X1), price (X2), and quality of product (X3) and dependent variable was buying decision (Y). Technique for sampling in this research was Purposive Sampling. Questionnaire distributed to Sriwijaya University student in Indralaya about 100 respondent. Technique for analyzing the data in this research was using multiple linier regression, F test and t test. The result of this reseach showed that brand, price, and quality of product stimultanously has significant influence toward buying decision nevertheless, partially, only price which did not significantly influence the buying decision. Abstract

This study to know the influence of career development toward turnover intention of employees. The independent variable in this study is the Career Development (X), and the dependent variable is Turnover Intention (Y). Data collection techniques in this study did not use sampling and use census. Distributing questionnaires to all of employees PT.BFI Finance, Tbk. Data analysis techniques used in this study is a simple linear regression and F test. Abstract

This study aim to determine the influences of investment decision which measured by Current Assets to Total Assets Ratio (CATAR), Fixed Assets to Total Assets Ratio (FATA), Receivable to Total Assets Ratio (RTA), and Inventory to Total Assets Ratio (ITA) to free cash flow as an indicator of firm value on the manufacturing sub-sectors of food and beverages listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange, and the unit of analysis is 13 food and beverages industry listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. The methods used in this research is quantitive method with multiple regression anlysis techniques. Based on the regression model test proves that the variation of the company can be expalined by the variable Current Assets to Total Assets Ratio (CATAR), Fixed Assets to Total Assets Ratio (FATA), Receivable to Total Assets Ratio (RTA), and Inventory to Total Assets Ratio (ITA) with coefficient of determination R square (R2) as 18,9%, with a significance value as 0,007. Analysis partially by t-test showed that the variables Inventory to total assets (ITA) has a significant effect on the firm value. While Current Assets To Total Assets Ratio (CATAR), Fixed Assets to Total Assets Ratio (FATA), Receivable to Total Assets Ratio (RTA) has not effect on the firm value.
