Abstract

This research aims to know whether employees perception to compensation justice which is accepted affecting the level of employee’s job satisfaction. Research data obtained from primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained by giving questionnaire to respondent. Secondary data consist of history of the company, company’s profile, organization chart, total of employees, and applied compensation system. Data analysis using the analysis of linear regression and correlation analysis. result of this research shows that there is significantly influence between employees perception to compensation justice with job satisfaction. And there is closer relationship between perception variable about justice of compensation system with job satisfaction.

Abstract

It is a vital importance to analyze road traffic accidents in order to improve traffic security management. Currently, most of the traffic information analysis is limited to general statistical analysis, which is hard to explore the rules hiding in its dataset and also difficult to find the spatial distribution characteristics. This paper aims to analyze the road traffic accidents dataset based on data mining method of K-Means clustering and visualize the result as a map. Firstly, data are extracted for clustering road segments based on similar characteristics that lies on the dataset, i.e. the number of accidents, the number vehicles involved, and the number accidents’ victims. Secondly, the result of clustering are presented as a map that aims to assist the police officer in identifying and evaluating some black spot areas (accident prone areas) in a monthly period, hence monitoring the safety of highways users can be anticipated earlier.

Abstract

Research discusses one of the files system in the operating Linux system, which Ext4 (Extended Fourth) which is a continuation of the Ext2 and Ext3. The method used in this study is the forensic investigation is to collect, maintain, and analyze. This study was conducted with a simulation file. Results from this study is a file can be known when the file is created to be modified. This study also uses some Linux default tool nor a forensic tool.

Abstract

Tumour is a pathologic condition that frequently occur in the jaws. Diagnosis is an important process to determine the type of tumour for the patient, especially malignant tumour. A precise and correct diagnosis and supported by a precise treatment planning will support the recovery and a better life expectation for the patient. One of the imaging techniques that commonly used is panoramic radiography. As the objective of this research is to acquire a pattern recognition method on the panoramic radiograph for type of tumour detection in the jaws. The image processing method that applied involve histogram equalization, edge detection, and binary image. The processing has been done by considering the shape, edge, and the characteristic of the tumour. The result of image processing compared with the interpretation by the dentist as the reference analysis. The analysis of the image processing result were appropriate with the dentist‟s interpretation for the case of malignant tumour. As the case of malignant tumour that has been observed was squamous cell carcinoma. The result of pattern recognition on the case of malignant tumour showed unobvious edges, the content of the lesion has radiopaque and radiolucency composition, and the defect of mandibular cortical that can be seen obviously.

Abstract

Extraction of compounds in a variety of materials, especially materials crops today are often found as a source of natural medicine. Soxhlet is one tool that is used as a medium of extraction of these compounds. Temperature and pressure as well as the long extraction affects the quality of compound extraction obtained. Control of temperature, pressure and time ekstraski kabanyakan still use manual so that there is an error caused by the user or device measuring. In this paper will be discussed extractor soxhlet integrated with the control system temperature, pressure and restrictions on timing extraction using a microcontroller ATMega 16 so that the extraction process can be run automatically. Control system temperature and pressure using a thermocouple type K which has a limit of measurement 0 - 12000C and pressure sensors MPX5700 which has a limit of measurement of the pressure of 0-700 Kpa. All output of this sensor will be read by the ADC microcontroller ATMega 16 is already integrated with internal ADC with a resolution of 10 Bit. Abstract

The mechanical properties of Fe97,91Mn1,60C0,41 steel alloy have improved, especially hardness after been subjected to various quenching media. Samples were heated at austenite temperature 800oC and 2 hours holding time, then quenched in water, oil, and salt water. The microstructures obtained were used to explain the results using optical microscope. Crystal structure and hardness were studied using X-Ray Diffractometer and Brinell Hardness Test. The hardness values of the quenched samples were 375 HB in salt water media, 257 HB in water media, and 231 HB in oil media. Crystal transformation from FCC -austenit to BCT α-martensit were observed in optical microscope and 2 peak values of XRD test result.

Abstract

Dua is one of the most important praying in Islam. Its such an obligatory for each moslem to perform dua before and after doing activities. Since there are many kinds of dua in Islam (e.g. dua before and after eating, dua before sleep and when wake up in the morning, dua before studying, etc), it is important for moslem to learn dua in early childhood education.  Kemendiknas RI (The Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia) have published a policy which states that  dua is a compulsory subject  in early childhood education. Herlina et al (2014) found that learning dua will be more effective by practicing it in daily life activities. This paper discuss about enacting Digital Game Based Learning (DGBL) to improve the learning method  to help students in early chidlhood education to learn dua. DGBL method is applied by developing a digital story telling application using Analyzing, Designing, Developing, Implementing, and Evaluating  (ADDIE) model. This application provides stories which give information about dua in students daily life activities.

Abstract

Selection of the optimal location of a Base Transceiver Station (BTS) is a very important decision for Internet Service Provider (ISP), because it can increase the new market. In the process of development of BTS should consider some criteria to obtain the optimal location of the BTS as business criteria, technical criteria and support criteria. The location of this research was conducted at PT. SIMS Branch Yogyakarta. The process of analysis is combining GIS and AHP. GIS methods is used to process spatial data from alternatives location of BTS and AHP is used for the analysis of decision making. The use of this method is excellent in decision-making with many criteria. The both combination will complement each others weaknesses. In the process of determining an alternate location, spatial data were analyzed using GIS methods to obtain the alternatives location can be used as a BTS sites, each alternative is ALT 1 at Moh. Yamin street, ALT 2 at Gatotkaca street, ALT 3 at Ringan Harjo street and ALT 4 at Diponegoro street, each of the sites are located in district of Bantul, Yogyakarta.  Then to determine the most optimal alternative of BTS sites can use AHP method. The results of process data using AHP show business criteria weights is 0.688; technical criteria weights is 0.238 and support criteria weights is 0.074. While the order of the selected alternative is ALT 4 has the highest value with the weight of 0.358; ALT 2 weights is 0319; ALT 1 weights is 0.213 and ALT 3 weights is 0.110.

Abstract

Mortality rate by heart disease in Indonesia is up to 26%. To prevent the higher of mortality rate by heart disease, an early examination for heart can be done by taking the record of electrocardiograph. The record was analyzed to know the heart rhythm that can be indication of heart disorder. By applying the warning of heart disorder, the heart condition and the treatment can be known rapidly. Electrocardiography record can be done in a short time, i.e. for 5 minutes (short term). Analyzing method in the time domain is the simplest way to analyze the variation of the heart rate. Analyzing in the time domain for R interval and the heart rate can be done by histogram and statistical analysis. Measurement method in the time domain is divided into two parts statistically, i.e. directly measurement for normal condition in R interval or the heart rate include the average value, and the standard deviation. The wavelet method was used in the QRS detection method in this research. Wavelet was designed to signal data processing, data filtering, thresholding, and histogram, to acquire the average of QRS wave, and its deviation standard. The benefit of the wavelet method can obtained the negative deflection value for Q wave with the amplitude 25% of R wave, R wave obtained positive deflection with the amplitude 1,6 – 3 mV, and negative deflection for S wave has the amplitude between 0,1 mV up to 0,5 mV.

Abstract

Teaching and learning activities at an early age children is important to note especially about learning media used. In the learning process often children do not focus on what is being taught by the teacher because there is nothing more exciting than being taught by the teacher. In addition the level of boredom child will be increased when the media is not interesting again. Great Media affect the childs motivation to learn. The use of technology in learning media is expected to increase the learn motivation in early childhood. This research will be built a learning media such as flash card that uses augmented reality technology that is expected to increase the learn motivation of early childhood. The results showed that the use of flash media cards augmented reality can improve learning outcomes in children seen from the responses given by children when study. Sistem flash cards augmented reality can be run properly and children can use them independently.
