Jurnal Pariwisata Pesona (JPP), is a scientific periodical journal of Diploma of Tourism, University of Merdeka Malang, which includes a variety of research in the field of tourism and hospitality, the analysis of actual case studies, or ideas related to the actual tourism and hospitality studies. This scientific periodical journal is intended as a means of scientific communication and a means of fostering, developing and strengthening knowledge in the field of tourism. Academics, legal practitioners, or anyone interested in the field of tourism and hospitality may submit their papers to the editor with the guidelines in writing. Researchers in all tourism and hospitality fields are encouraged to contribute articles based on recent research.

Abstract

This study focused about the potential development of halal tourism in the perspective support of availability of local halal restaurant (non franchise restaurant) in Gorontalo city. In master plan Gorontalo Tourism Development stated that Gorontalo has potential opportunity to develop halal tourism as one of tourism destination. These  potential opportunity supported by few of factor which that the majority of the population are moslem, tourist visitor are dominated by domestic tourist which is connected also to majority of population in Indonesia are moslem as well. The city of Gorontalo as the capital city has many facilities than other city in Gorontalo province. The facilities such as star hotel and non star hotel, franchise restaurant, lokal restaurant. Other than that Gorontalo city has strategic position because situated between two cities that has tourist destination and attraction. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data obtained through field obeservation, interview, and documentation. All data collected by using sampling purposive technique. the quantitative data obtained will be described in descriptive terms. The completion of this research will presented in descriptive. The results showed the existence of a restaurant that has halal certification is sufficient to support halal tourism. In order to run well required cooperation among stakeholders.

Abstract

Potensi pariwisata pesisir Ile Ape Timur seperti hutan mangrove, laut, gunung merapi dan kampung adat lamariang memiliki karakteristik yang khas dan belum banyak dijamah dan di dekembangkan. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat yaitu mempertahankan potensi wisata tersebut dengan menjadikannya sebagai kawasan ekowisata komersial, karena ekowisata merupakan kegiatan usaha yang menaruh perhatian besar terhadap sumber daya alam dan konservasi. Mengingat daerah ini menunjukan bahwa kawasan ekowisata belum dikelola menjadi kawasan ekowisata yang dapat memberikan pendapatan bagi masyarakatnya. Metode penelitian dilaksanakan dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan regresi linear sederhana diolah dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS. Jumlah sample sebesar  40 dan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengembangan kawasan ekowisata memiliki korelasi terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat lokal. dan diketahui bahwa pengembangan kawasan ekowisata berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Abstract

Milk tofu is the result of milk production that has similar shape and color to the soybean tofu, yet its texture or elasticity is smoother than the soybean tofu. In addition, its smell is similar to the cheese smell. Data was analyzed using variance investigation and DMRT.This study is an experiment research on production of milk tofu by the use of 1%, 1,5%, and 2% vinegar acid out of the total cow’s milk. Each treatment is conducted by three times repetition. The aim of this study is to find out organoleptic characteristics that involves flavor, color, and texture through test of hedonic quality and test of hedonic. The result of hedonic test, the panelists like the flavour and texture of milk tofu which used 1,5% of vinegar acid, and the colour of that panelists like is those that used 1% of vinegar acid. Abstract

Abstract Nglanggeran ancient volcano is the main tourist attraction in Gunungkidul regency, which the number of the visitor is quite high. Guidance need to organize the manner of the tourist. In order to maintain the ancient volcano preservation on the future. Tourist code of conduct is one of the tourist attraction environment. The purposes of this reseach was to analyze of the strategy, which have done by the eco-tourism administrator area of the nglanggeran ancient volcano, in applying of the tourist codes of conduct towards tourist behavior. This reseach was conducted through qualitative descriptive method, along with participant observation, interview, and documentation as data for instruments collection. The result of this research was the ecotourism administrator area which has already applayed the tourism codes of conduct to the tourist and impact on the changes of the tourist attitude to pay more attention to the environment.

Abstract

The study was conducted to determine the effect of the division of labor on the work efficiency of pastry employees at Hotel Santika Premiere Malang. Work efficiency relates to the product produced with the resources used. While the division of labor is a separator type of work done by individuals. Researchers used the Simple Linear Regression Analyze method to predict how far the value of the dependent variable will be changed if the independent variable is changed. From result of research of independent variable (X) that is Division of labor and dependent variable (Y) Work efficiency have significant relation. This is evidenced from the data processing is known significant value sebersar 0.003 <0.05, with the conclusion Ho rejected and Ha accepted that there is influence between the Division of labor (X) on Efficiency of work. Abstract

Tourism industry has an important role in term of extending business and working opportunity by developing local potency, building urban and rural area and enlarging national income. It should be done to enhance public welfare. This study aims to: 1. Analyzingsocial condition, economy and social culture which occur in Ampelgading village of Malang Regency; 2. Describing plantation, tourism, and eco-tourism potency in that village which can be developed;3. Describing strength, weakness, threat and opportunity in term of plantation, tourism, and eco-tourism potencyin that village; 4. Describing a new working opportunity in tourism industry which can be used by local society in order to maximize income and minimize the number of poor people around that village. Data Collection techniques were used that observation,  interview and documentation. This reasearch uses a Participatory Rural Appraisal method (PRA), Focused Group Discussion (FGD), and SWOT analysis. The result of this study shows that Ampelgading village has a very extraordinary tourism interest in term of eco-tourism and agricultural. In order to maximize the strength, it needs a good collaboration between tourism organization and local government. The developing of the village will impact to the development of people around it. Nowadays, there are several houses which have been used as lodging or homestay for tourist.

Abstract

Technological developments rapidly growth such as the internet, it is time information management manual was gradually replaced by the information management that is technology. For it is necessary such as the design of information system of tourism in a web-based Central Sumba Regency. As for the purpose of this research is to help Central Sumba Regency Government to attract tourists visit through. To make all the content of the information contained onthe web has the administration control panel to be able to do pengelolahan add, editand delete data on tourism. Software developed in the preparation of this final Task using HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) which is the basic language for web scripting and client side that allows the display of information in the form of text, grafiks, and also to connectbetween the display Page (Hyperlink). In addition it is also used to program PHP and MySQL to create information systems be accurate. The end resulct of this research is produced a web-based application program that can give you an idea of the information system of tourism Central Sumba Regency that can display information about the profile of tourism.

Abstract

Jayapura district has many attractions that can be developed. Tourism in Jayapura that became a tourist visit as the monument of General Douglas Mac Arthur in Ifar Mountains, Kampung Pulau Asei Travel, Tourism Village Tourism Village Abar and Tablanusu. The tourism sector is positioned as a strategic sector in the national development as well be one source of income. This sector needs to be developed because it is considered as an effective tool for the improvement of the local economy such as employment and development of the regions that have the potential as a tourist attraction. Tourism is something that is needed by every human being because the longer a person is engaged in his work, the opportunity to calm the mind with a traveled the main choice. This study used a qualitative descriptive research is generally done with the primary goal, namely describe systematically the scientific information derived from the subject and object of research. Descriptive study focuses on a systematic explanation of the facts obtained during research conducted and the characteristics of the object being studied. The analysis technique used SWOT analysis is "Assessment / assessment of the identification of the situation to find out if a condition is said to be the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities or threats. Internal factors that support the development of tourism Jayapura district are: tourist attraction, in the form of nature, especially the beaches in Jayapura District, Enchantment Tours, beautiful, natural beauty tours that have not been exposed to pollution, diversity of shore excursions, many beaches are scattered in the district of Jayapura, beautiful scenery, cultural attractions from various regions surrounding the tour in Jayapura. Abstract

“ Malang Kembali “ merupakan gagasan yang sangat cemerlang disaat    generasi muda mengalami krisis akan kebudayaan terutama terhadap kesenian lokal Malangan yang mulai terlupakan dan tergeser dengan kesenian modern. Dengan adanya, festival “ Malang Kembali” diharapkan tumbuh kesadaran dikalangan generasi muda akan adanya Kekayaan budaya lokal yang perlu dijaga dan dilestarikan keberadaanya, bukan sekedar sebagai kesenangan atau hiburan semata namun juga mengandung nilai jual. Suatu daerah akan terus dikenang oleh wisatawan apabila daerah tersebut memiliki kekayaan budaya yang menarik seperti kekayaan kulinernya, senitari dan ukiran serta souvenir khas yang mengingatkan wisatawan pada tempat tersebut. Malang sebagai salah satu kota tujuan wisata memiliki semua itu. Dari wista kuliner hingga industri makanan ringan keripik tempe yang jadi ciri khas Malang,juga  kesenian Topeng Malangan sampai seni Ludruk semua terangkum dan disajikan di festival “Malang Kembali”.

Abstract

Kota Malang memiliki banyak tujuan destinasi wisata. Beberapa diantaranya berlokasi di pusat kota Malang. Salah satu potensi wisata kota yang ada dimiliki oleh kota Malang yaitu Kampung Kayutangan. Wilayah yang mempunyai daya tarik wisata religi terletak  Jl. Basuki Rachmad Gg.4, RW 09 yakni berupa Makam Mbah Honggo Koesomo. Namun masih banyak masyarakat yang belum mengetahui keberadaan dari destinasi wisata ini. Oleh karena perlu diadakan program direct marketing dwi-bahasa guna meningkatkan minat wisata religi makam Mbah Honggo, Kampung Kayutangan, Kota Malang. Pihak-pihak yang diperkirakan dapat membantu dalam mengimplementasikan metode direct-marketing untuk meningkatkan minat wisata wisatawan makam mbah Honggo di Kampung Kayutangan Kota Malang adalah Dinas Pariwisata Kota Malang, pemerintah atau pejabat di kampung Kayutangan, kelompok ibu-ibu PKK kampung Kayutangan, serta masyarakat sekitar kampung makam Mbah Honggo. Langkah-langkah yang dapat ditempuh adalah persiapan pengumpulan informasi, pembuatan alat pemasaran dalam bentuk guide-book, pelatihan teknik pemasaran dan bahasa, pelaksanaan direct-marketing dan evaluasi.
