Abstract

The research was conducted a work of marketing research. It aimed to know distribution of rice among farmer to costumer. The result of the research showed that chain marketing distribution of rice consist of : 1) long and abort chain marketing distribution, 2) marketing margin of rice eficient, 3) share of profit on rice marketing is eficient. Kata Kunci : Tataniaga, fluktuasi harga, saluran pemasaran

Abstract

Cooperation is helpfull to assist continuity of life socialize since coperation represent compatible for weak economics society, Over work improve be happened adding the level improvement live and the prosperity which have dreamed. Research target are (1.) To study management model from organizational at cooperation  managed by woman in Jember regency (2.) To identify phenomenon that happened and activity of the cooperation managed by woman ( 3.) To know capital growth of cooperation that managed by woman and ( 4.) To know monetary growth of cooperation managed by woman in Jember regency. This research using “Comparative study” that comparing model of the cooperation managed woman and cooperation managed by men. The sample collected by Simple Random Sampling by  five cooperations that are Sekar Kartini and Gladiol (managed by women) also KPRI Agrosejahtera, Kop Kar Aroma and KUD Rama managed by men. The analysis used at this research is descriptive analysis, tabulation statistic analysis, also ratio analysis of likuiditas, ratio of profitability, ratio of sovabilitas and operational ratio. The result shows that : ( 1)The membership growth of Kopwan Sekar Kartini and Gladiol are good enough, ( 2) Coordination among top management , board of examiner and co-op member is quite intensive that characterized by the attending in meeting (3)The capital growth is relatively good where Kopwan Sekar Kartini higher than Kopwan Gladiol.(4)Business activity efficient enough, especially at saving and loan activity (USP) to use group systems by system guarantee together method (5) Monetary growth at Kopwan Sekar Kartini And Gladiol tend to health posed at by ratio of Likuiditas, ratio of profitability and ratio of salvabilitas. Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze lemuru fish marketing in Muncar – Banyuwangi Regency through marketing margin analysis during peak season and lean season. Research location was selected purposively. Method of analysis were descriptive and analytic. Snow ball sampling was used in this research. Both primary and secondary data were collected in this study. Results show that the shorter the marketing chains the smaller marketing margin. Marketing margin during peak season was smaller compared than marketing margin during the lean season, because during the lean season, consumers were unable to get lemuru easily. So, lemuru price become higher. Although the lemuru price was high, consumers still sought to buy it. Therefore, share received by fisherman is higher during the peak season. Abstract

The poverty is the massive problem in developing country. One way to solve problem   that conducted by government is PIDRA program by matching grant. The aim of this research were (1) to study the average income in society that involvement in PIDRA (participatory integrated development in Rainfed Area) program member either before and after receive the matching grant, (2) to know the social factors that influencing income society, (3) the understand the social stratum by attending the matching grant program. (4) to understand the achievement the PIDRA program in the Lumajang Regency.  The location research was conducted in Jambekumbu Village, Senduro Sub District, Lumajang Regency that determined by purposive method. The sample are 30 respondent taken by simple random sampling method. Furthermore the analytical method that used were descriptive, correlation and comparative analysis.The result show that (1) average income among society that before and after receive matching grant is statistically significant different, (2) the social factors that influencing income society are education level (95 confidence level) and the both activity farming namely on-farm and off farm (90 confidence level), (3) there is moving social stratum from poor society category to not poor society category because of PIDRA program, (4) The PIDRA program is quite success. Abstract

This research aim were to know; (a) the influencing factors of production of tempe; (b) The cost efficiency of  tempe production; and (c) The income of tempe enterpreneur; pass the increase of oil price. The research location selected by purposive method, in Baratan Kecil Village, Patrang Subdistrict in Jember Regency. Research methods that used were descriptive, correlational, analitic, and comparative. Population and sample determined by simple random sampling. Data that used in this research both primary and secondary. The methods used to analyze the data were; (a) Cobb-Douglas Production function; (b) t-paired test.; and (c) Income and cost Analyzes. Result shows that; (1) soybean, labours, ragi, and wood of agroindustry definitely infhered to tempe production in significantly level confidence degree. Furthermore oil price and condition of the oil price indefinitely of tempe in degree of confidence 95%; (2) The production cost of  tempe is efficien, (3) The income of the enterpreneur either before and after the increasing of oil  is significantly different at significantcy  level 5%. Abstract

The objective of the study were (1) to know the trend of  crop area,  production and productivity of soybean in East Java; (2) to know competitiveness of soybean (e.g. comparative and competitive advantage) in East Java; (3) to determine and analyze the impact of government policy related to soybean competitiveness in East Java; and (4) to know the effect of changes in tradable input and output to soybean  competitiveness in East Java. The determination of research area was based on purposive sampling method with the consideration that East Java Province is one of main soybean production center. The samples were determined by Multi Stage Cluster Sampling Method. The method of data  analysis used in this study was trend analysis and Policy Analysis Matrix (PAM). The results of analysis indicate that (1) trend of crop area and production of soybean will gradually decrease, but its productivity will increase for the coming years; (2) Privately, soybean agribusiness in Jember and Banyuwangi were efficient. While socially, soybean agribusiness in Jember was efficient, but in Banyuwangi was inefficient; (3) Soybean agribusiness in Jember had comparative and competitive advantage, on the other hand soybean agribusiness in Banyuwangi had  competitive advantage, but did not have comparative advantage; (4)  The impact of government policy related to soybean competitiveness in East Java was positive;  (5) Decreasing in tradable input price will increase the competitiveness of soybean agribusiness, while increasing in tradable input price will decrease the competitiveness soybean agribusiness in both region. The upper bound of increase in   tradable input price was 102,21% for soybean agribusiness in Jember and 13,85% for soybean agribusiness in Banyuwangi, (6) Decreasing  in soybean price  will decrease the competitiveness of soybean agribusiness. The upper bound of  decrease in output   price was  11,13% for soybean agribusiness in Jember and 1,50% for  soybean agribusiness in Banyuwangi, (7) Decreasing in productivity of soybean will decrease  the competitiveness of soybean agribusiness. The upper bound of decrease in productivity was 11,13% for soybean agribusiness in Jember and  3,00% for soybean agribusiness in Banyuwangi.   Keywords: soybean, trend, comparative and competitive advantage

Abstract

Consumers hold important role in determination whether the product has superiority or not. The overflowing or import fruits affected to a strong competition between local and impor fruits.  Although local fruit seemingly lost in the competing with import fruits, however the consumer (especially city consumer) is the final determiner who act the jury to judge the kind of fruit that is superior through multi attribute judgement. The research objected was to analyze the influece of the factors namely culture, social enviroment, individual, psychological and marketing strategy toward consumer’s attitude in purchasing fruits to show ‘competitive value’ of local fruit toward impor fruits. This research purposely conducted in Surabaya as one of the final destinations for fruit marketing with fruit’s consumer as a respondent and using survey method.  Sample taken of 140 responden from five Surabaya areas. Data collection conducted by interviews and direct obsevation toward several research object. This  research analyzed by Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The result shows that on import fruits, changing culture and the increasing of individual characteristic significally significant effect to consumer behaviour in import fruits consumtion. Abstract

Organic farming is farming that use natural resources input. Recently, organic farming massively conducted by farmer because the demand of output is quite increase. The organic rice is the one of organic farming. The aim this research were (1) to compare and analyze both the cost structure and the income structure between organic rice and anorganic rice farm in Sumberngepoh, (2) to compare and analyze both economic and technic efficiency in  organic and anorganic rice farm in Sumberngepoh. The analyze method that used in this research is multiple linear regression by Cobb-Douglass approach. The research location is in Sumberngepoh, Lawang-malang is basedon that place is a cultivation area and also for central of organic rice development in Malang.  The result shows that In Sumberngepoh, the farming is started from seed selection which is good and filled out, seedling, planting, and treatment which consist of irrigation, weeding, manuring and controlling the pest and disease following the organic agriculture rules. Organic rice farming is more profitable and more efficient on technical than anorganic rice farming, the functional result of Cobb-Douglas production is gotten the organic rice efficiency index  as large as 360,68 and anorganic rice farming intercept as 153,121. Based on B/C ratio result is know that B/C ratio value of organic rice farm is 2,79 and anorganic rice farm is 2,42 Key words: organic rice, economic  efficiency and technic efficiency.

Abstract

Poultry commodity has good market prospect because supported by the characteristics of poultry product that can be gotten by Indonesian that mostly moslem, the cost is cheap with easy access because it’s a public goods. The poultry industry faces various problems continually, they are; broiler price fluctuation, day old chick price fluctuation, the increase of weft price and Avian Influenza issue. Many constraints force breeder to be wise in taking decisions on broiler industry. One of them is decision of working system that will be held in order to maximalize breeder income. This research held in Gumukmas, Jember where broiler industry is done through two system they are partnership and non partnership system. This research held with sampling method and the results show non partnership system give more profit but give lower income contribution to family than partnership system. Abstract

Proll tape is a agroindustrial product which used agriculture product as a basic material. It is a diversification product from tape and mixed with some flavour. It can be found in the gift store. Proll tape marketing strategic will influence consumer behaviour in the decision buying. Consumer buy proll tape as a gift as beside on their own consumption. Consumer considers proll tape has a good quality so that it can fill consumer needed. Purpose of the research to find out the influence factors of proll tape consumer behavior, proll tape consumer behavior, and the relationship of income level toward to proll tape purchasing level. The research location use purposive methode with the type is descriptive and correlation methode. The sample extraction use convinience sampling. The analysis tools use factor analysis and chi square. Result of research indicate that : (1) The influence factors of proll tape consumer behavior are quality perception, motivation, promotion, location, supporting facility and packing. (2) the visible consumer behavior consist of purchasing frequency of proll tape between 2 until 3 purchased. Consumer buy proll tape monthly indefinitive. (3) there is not definitely relationship between income level toward to proll tape purchasing level. Key word : Proll tape, consumer behavior, income
