Jurnal Psikologi adalah jurnal ilmiah di bidang ilmu psikologi yang diterbitkan oleh Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). Penerbitan Jurnal Psikologi bertujuan untuk memfasilitasi interaksi, diskusi, dan pemutakhiran gagasan dari para ilmuwan psikologi di Indonesia. Mulai tahun 2015, Jurnal Psikologi terbit tiga kali dalam setahun, yaitu bulan April, Agustus dan Desember. Perubahan frekuensi terbitan dilakukan untuk mempercepat penyebarluasan hasil-hasil penelitian dan untuk meningkatkan nilai manfaat hasil-hasil penelitian serta mempersingkat masa tunggu pembaca agar dapat mengikuti perkembangan penelitian dalam bidang psikologi khususnya di Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aimed at identifying and understanding more deeply the self-regulated learning of students with high GPA, who had multiple roles (as housewife and worker also). The approach employed in this study was qualitative-phenomenological approach. The subjects of the study were selected by purposive sampling technique and the data were collected using techniques of observations and in-depth interviews. The results indicated that the four subjects conducted self-regulation in learning through regulating the cognition, motivation, behavior and emotion. Moreover, the subjects performed context regulation in order to achieve certain learning objectives. Self-regulated learning performed by the subjects was influenced by specific precipitating situations and the characteristics of each related individual. It was also strengthened by social support given to them. Keywords: self-regulated learning, student, many roles Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan memahami lebih mendalam bagaimana regulasi diri dalam belajar (self regulated learning) mahasiswa yang memiliki banyak peran (sebagai ibu rumah tangga dan bekerja) dengan indeks prestasi tinggi. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah dengan pendekatan kualitatif-fenomenologi. Subjek penelitian dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling dan teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah meng¬gunakan observasi dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa empat orang subjek menggunakan regulasi diri dalam belajar berupa regulasi kognitif, regulasi motivasi, regulasi perilaku dan regulasi emosi. Selain itu subjek juga melakukan regulasi konteks agar tujuan pembelajaran dapat dicapai. Regulasi diri dalam belajar yang dilakukan oleh para subjek dipengaruhi oleh situasi pencetus dan karakteristik tiap individu bersangkutan. Regulasi diri dalam belajar yang dilakukan juga tidak terlepas dari dukungan sosial yang diberikan kepada mereka. Kata kunci: regulasi diri dalam belajar, mahasiswa, peran banyak

Abstract

The issue of reproductive health is increasing year by year. Proper understanding of reproductive healt his absolutely necessary for students at school. Teacher is one of the important part in learning process, so teachers must have an understanding of reproductive healt has well as sufficient skills to deliver it properly to the students. The purpose of this study is to know the effectiveness of the "Guru Sahabat Siswa” program to increase teachers’ skills to become facilitators in a group discussion on reproductive health theme. Abstract

The study aimed to measure the influence of relative deprivation toward intergroup prejudice within undergraduate students in the Faculty “X” at Universitas Gadjah Mada. The relative deprivation theory predicted that when a person or a group is believed to be having limitation/weakness in comparison to the other people/groups, psychological problems and negative behaviors will be likely to occur. Pettigrew (2008) stated that the relative deprivation experienced by a group is strongly related to the occurrence of intergroup prejudice. This study was conducted by using a quasi-experimental method with pre test – post test control group design. A total of 20 undergraduate students participated in this study, which were grouped into two experimental groups (one group with narrative intervention and one group with narrative and provocation intervention) and one control group, after being selected through a proportional random sampling. Data were collected by using two scales, i.e. relative deprivation scale and intergroup prejudice scale. A one-way ANOVA analysis was used to see the difference between pre- and post-test scores across the three groups. Abstract

Do the emphaty determine the smoking behavior? And is the smoking behavior in the public areas, such as in the train station, in the cinema, in the cafetaria, in the car park, and on the bus affected by the low of empathy.? One hundred and fifty students, 15-22 years old participated in this study. They were asked to fill the Emphaty Scales (SE) and Smoking Behavior Scales (SPM) in when they were smoking in the public area. The Product Moment analysis showed that there is a negative correlation (-0,207) between the two. The higher the emphatetic the lower the smoking behavior, especially in the public areas. This research also found out that the frequency of smoking is related to the empathy. Therefore, people who smoke in the public areas should be the hard smokers. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between Corporate Culture and Perception of Carrier Development. The study was a field research which data collected through Scale of Corporate Culture and Scale of Perception of Carrier Development. The subject were employees of PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Divisi Regional I Sumatera (Medan). The result show that was a significant correlation between corporate culture and perception of carrier development (rxy = 0.833, p < 0.01). the correlation indicated that the strong corporate culture, the more positive perception of carrier development. In addition, the finding also shows there was no significant difference in perception of carrier development based on worked period (F = 2,193, p > 0.05) Keywords: Corporate Culture, Perception of Carrier development.

Abstract

Multilevel helping (MLH) yang bertujuan untuk mengelola permasalahan-permasalahan psikososial dalam komunitas belum pernah dikaji secara empiris walaupun telah digunakan secara substansial pasca bencana alam. Dalam studi ini, MLH diubah menjadi Multilevel Facilitating (MLF) karena metode ini akan digunakan dalam kondisi normal. Istilah fasilitasi sendiri memiliki konotasi: pemberdayaan antar anggota dalam kelompok. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendukung bukti bahwa MLF efektif untuk ditransfer kepada komunitas dalam memecahkan masalah psikososial. Tiga kelompok komunitas berpartisipasi dalam studi ini. Kelompok pertama adalah kader wanita dalam lembaga masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat di daerah. Kelompok kedua adalah anggota Puskesmas yang aktif dalam “dusun siaga” bagi wanita hamil. Kelompok ketiga adalah polisi yang mengajarkan bawahannya untuk memfasilitasi keterampilan empatik dalam pelayanannya kepada masyarakat. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam studi ini adalah eksperimen quasi, sedangkan pengukuran dilakukan pra dan pasca perlakuan tanpa adanya kelompok kontrol. Data observasi selama proses transfer disajikan dalam bentuk grafik serial waktu. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa MLF efektif untuk digunakan oleh semua kelompok, utamanya bagi peserta yang berkomitmen untuk mengembangkan diri menggunakan metode yang pernah dipelajari selama lokakarya/pelatihan di masing-masing kelompok. Berdasarkan observasi, keterampilan dalam menggunakan MLF berkembang dalam semua kelompok selama proses transfer metode. Studi ini merekomendasikan kepada ketiga kelompok yang memiliki keterampilan dalam MLF agar tetap menggunakan dan mentransfer metode kepada kelompok berikutnya sehingga efek multiplikasi akan menjadi besar. Abstract

Interaction between human and techno-logy sometime is not yet optimum due to the fact that psychological aspect has not been thoroughly considered. Mall is a kind of very attractive public facilities that resemble product of technology. High degree of legibi-lity is needed for optimal use of the mall. The present research is conducted to study: (a) spatial cognition performance of human when short reaction time is demanded, and (b) utilization of such performance with You Are Here (YAH) map as cognitive navigation tool for better legibility. The research method consist of 3 stages: (a) status survey to 20 malls at several big cities in Java, (b) preliminary experiment at a new building with its setting satisfies mall characteristics, and (c) experimental research conducted at a new mall building, involving 160 subjects. Subjects were assigned to do wayfinding tasks, which include: finding a room at the same and different floors. Prior to wayfinding, subjects were asked to look at a YAH map that has been manipulated in terms of the type (North Up Orientation/ NUO or inline egodirection), and its place¬ment rotation (R0, R45, R90, R135, R180, R225, R270, R315). Subjects were assigned to make scats map for assessing their cognitive map representation ability. The following conclusions could be drawn: (a) there is a difference in wayfinding reaction time between YAH map that follow NUO and that of inline; wayfinding reaction time of inline map is lower than that of NUO; (b) there is a difference in wayfinding reaction time among various rotation of YAH map that follow NUO; up to rotation of 1800, the more the rotation the longer the reaction time will be; (c) there is no diffe¬ren¬ce in wayfinding reaction time among various rotation that follow inline principle; (d) there is a difference in the number of direc¬tion mistake during wayfinding bet¬ween YAH map that follow NUO and that of inline; the number of mistake of inline map is lower than that of NUO map; (e) there is a combination of YAH map type and the way it is placed (rotation) that results in relative¬ly shorter wayfinding reaction time, i.e.: those that affecting mental rotation equal to zero; (f) in general all subject possess high cognitive map representation ability that could be utilized in cognitive navigation during wayfinding. Abstract

This study was designed to examine the hypotheses that secure attachment was the best predictor of self-concept rather than unsecured attachment (anxious and avoidance attachments. Intercorrelation-matrix shows that there was positive correlation between secure attachment and self-concept (r = 0,522; p < 0,05) and negative correlation between unsecured attachment and self-concept (r= -0,500; p < 0,05). Abstract

Student well-being pada anak usia Sekolah Dasar di Indonesia belum banyak dikaji, demikian pula usaha untuk mengembangkan indikator yang relevan untuk mengungkap well-being anak di sekolah belum banyak dilakukan. Di sisi lain, alat ukur untuk mengetahui well-being siswa sangat dibutuhkan seiring dengan meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap well-being siswa di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen pengukuran student well-being dalam konteks Sekolah Dasar (SD). Skala yang dikembangkan didasarkan pada tinjauan penelitian well-being pada anak yang dilakukan oleh Pollard dan Lee dan disesuaikan dengan konteks sekolah yang mengacu pada pendekatan kesejahteraan psikologis dari Ryff dan Keyes. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menyusun tiga skala paralel. Setiap skala yang disusun ini diujikan kepada 200 responden, sehingga total responden adalah 600 siswa. Hasil analisis terhadap ketiga skala dijadikan dasar untuk menyusun satu skala kompilasi. Skala kompilasi ini kemudian diujikan kepada 215 responden. Hasil analisis terhadap skala kompilasi menunjukkan bahwa 39 aitem yang disusun mempunyai properti psikometris yang memuaskan jika ditilik dari koefisien reliabilitas, daya beda aitem, dan validitas isi, sedangkan secara struktural, struktur faktornya masih perlu diperbaiki.
