Abstract

Yogyakarta   could  be  the  mirror  of "Nusantara"    since  it had  been accumulated    with people  from "all around   the Nusantara  for  study. Yogyakarta  could  be considered   a town  which  would  grow  as  "Semi Metropolis"   city. there for physical  facilities   are needed.  This research was  conducted   to know  the minimalism   architecture   development   in house development  in Yogyakarta.The research  was  carried  out  on qualitative   design.  Data  collectedwith  observation,   visualization,   skates   maker, photo   documentation and  deeply  and structurally.   interview  Relevant   documentation   from some  conected  departments   was taken.  Data  analyzed  with inductive method.  It means  that  all data  not  to reveal  hypothesis   but focus   on abstract formation   based on parts  which were collected,  than grouped. Triangulation  was conducted for  testing data validity.The  results  showed  that:  (a) House   and  housing   development   until2004 decade  still dominated  by Mediteran  Style,  Tropical House  Style, Classical  House Style with ornamens,  (b) The Minimalism  House  Style in  architecture   focuses    on   essential    and  functional     things.    The Minimalism   Style dominated  by elementary  geometrical  form  without ornamen  or decoration,  and it became  its character.  It began  to grow since 2004 to 2006, in Sleman Regency,  Yogyakarta.Keywords:  Architecture  Style, Development,   Minimalism  ArchitectureStyle.

Abstract

Kacang  tolo  (Vigna unguiculata)  have potency  as protein  source instead soybean with appropriate processing such as fermentation of tempe. The objective of research was to study the nutrient changing especially total protein  and digestible protein  content during fermentation of tempefrom kacang tolo. The research method was the experimental method with complete block design. Watercontent was analyzed by thermogravimetry, total protein by micro Kjieldahl, and digestible protein by in vitro method. Data were analyzed by one way anova at significant level 5 %. If there are significant different, then is followed with Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). Research result concluded that water content, total protein content, and digestible protein were increasing during tempefermentation.Keywords: tempe, kacang tolo, totalprotein, digestibleprotein

Abstract

The aim of this research is  to describe how far  is  the ergonomics conditions have been applied in the applying of material and colour of the  corridor floor  at  RSVP   Dr. Sarjito  Yogyakarta, identifying problems that happened and also its cause.The approach of this research is descriptive qualitative, depicting what the existence of the circumstance of corridor floor at RSVP Dr. Sarjito Yogyakarta through observation and documentation and to describe the situation of research object, perceiving problems  that happened and its cause.The result of this research indicate that the floor  materialthat   isapplied is ceramic tile that is equal to 99.81 %, rubber vynil is equal to0.08% and cement plaster  is equal to 0.106% from  entire corridor floor  that becoming the research object. Colour of the floor is white that combined by old grey textured ceramic tile. Evaluated from the ergonomics conditions  including  the security, safety  and comfort aspect, ceramic floor that used at the corridor of RSVPDR.SARJITO havefulfilled the conditions. The esthetic conditions with theprincipal consideration of composition not yet beenfullfiled because there an; no variation ofform,  colour and motive. Motive, form and colour are monoton and also there are no emphasis that will attract the attention, make thefeeling bored especially whenfringing at a long corridor,so that the distancefelt farther.

Abstract

The aim pf  this research is  to analyze characteristic  of Cu-based material that has been used as electrode in EDM process. The research variables are wearness off electrode, weightloss and roughness of specimens of EMS 45 steel.Experimental methode was used in this research, which consists of preparation process and EDM test, EDM process, characterization and testingprocess. Analysis was done based on characterization and testing  process.   Testing process   comprises  electrode  wearness, weightloss and roughness of the specimen.The result show that wearness of brass electrode is higher than bronze electrode. However, bronze electrode gives  rapid  weight  loss. At current of 45 A and pulse on time 3 s, weight loss of EMS 45 steel was1,8 timefaster using bronze electrode, but wearness of brass electrode was  18,67 times faster.  Surface  roughness of EMS  45 steel was smoother using bronze electrode. Weight loss of EMS 45 steel and electrode wearness affected by current andpulse on time. Nevertheles, surface roughness of EMS 45 influenced by current, but not bypulse on time.Keywords: EDM Process, electrode, bronze, brass, weight loss, wear, roughness, current,pulse on time
