Abstract

Technology trend nowadays is  connecting  one  instrument with  itothers  to  be  an  integrated system  that  can  ease  humans  work.Integrated Control Panel is  an  electricity control panel  which is controlled remotely. This control panel  is  so  much because of its efficiency which is gained and more than one instrument which are controlled. This control panel is  a remote controlled that can ease humans work, do security control and self control. This research a  . started from  software and hardware plan making and implementing the result of the analytic technique is  used to answer whether theresearch on remote sensing using Web can be more efficient and makehumans work easier. The result of the analytic technique is shown bythe speed of access time between the client and  the server. From thefinding it can be conclude that Integrated Control Panel which can be controlled through web browser can be ease humans work in doingcontrol  access  to  electricity  instruments.  This  control  method  isobviously more efficient because of small access time. This is shown by the mean of access time which is only 265 milliseconds. This panelis provide with database system to save data control. This databasecan be accessed to know the data control.

Abstract

Effect of concentration of sodium bisulfite to vitamin C content, totalsulfite residue and consumer hedonic level of rambutan syrup has been studied. Research method was experiment by complete random design. Vitamin C content was analyzed by the iodium titration, the total sulfite  residue by  distillation analysis  (Rangana, 1977),  and consumer hedonic  level  by  hedonic scale  test  with  80  untrained panelists. Analysis data was done by analysis variance at 5% level of significance and continued with the Tukey test. Based on research result showed that concentration of sodium bisulfite have a significant effect to   vitamin C content and total sulfite residue of rambutan syrup. Vitamin C content and total sulfite residue increased with the increasing concentration of sodium bisulfite. Concentration of sodium bisulfite has a significant effect to aroma of rambutan syrup, otherwise no influence at color andflavor.Keywords: rambutan syrup, sodium bisulfite, vitamin C, total sulfite residue, consumer hedonic level.

Abstract

The  purposes    of  this   work   are   (I)   to  determine    the  pattern    of temperature    during   the   composting    of   organic   waste   of  chicken manure  at the natural  and artificial  environment   (2)  to determine  the chemical   characteristics   of chicken  manure  Around    700 kg  organic wastes  of chicken  manure put in the hole of land with 2 m length, x2m wide  x lm  height.   The  other  organic   waste  in  same  size  put  in  the artificial   environment.     During  the  composting   we  turn  the  heap  of compost  every  two weeks  especially for  organic  waste  that composted in   artificial    environment.    The   data   we   want   to   collect   is   the temperature   of the heap  of compost  in the exterior  zone   (0-20 em, ), deep zone  (50 cmfrom   surface,)   and   low zone  (80 cm,from   surface). We also  analyse  the  chemical  characteristics   include  the pH,  N,P,K total,  NH4,  Ca .Mg  total  and  c/N  ratio;  while  the   organic fraction analysis  include  the cellulose,  lignin, protein,  total sugar.  The pattern of   temperature   during  composting  present  the thermophilic  phase  in the  beginning   of  composting  for   organic   wastes  of  chicken  manure that  composted   in  artificial   condition.   But  this  thermophilic   phase only    rest  for    one   week     While    natural    environment     give    the thermophilic   phase   longer  until  more  than  4  weeks.  Based   on  this results  we  can  conclude   that  the  rate  of  organic   waste  of  chicken manure     decomposition      during     the     composting      in    artificial environment   is more quick  than that in the   natural  environment.    The chemical  characteristics   of chicken  manure  composted  show  the high contain  of NH4,  but  in the artificial  condition   the  looses  of water  is higher.     Based  on the results  of organic fraction,   the biodegradation of cellulose  and  lignin  in the natural  environment   is significant   than that in the artificial  condition.Keywords:     Pattern    of   temperature-decomposition-organic        waste­ chicken   manure-natural    environment-artificial     environ­ ment-composting.

Abstract

The aim of this research were: 1) to determinate mercury disposition in water, sedimen,   and biota in Kapuas river, and 2)  to evaluate whether mercury disposition of the sample have been exceeded the threshold value which permitted  to  be  consummed  by animal an human. The sample of this research were water, sediment, and biota (algae and fish)  in Kapuas river.The research was carried out by experiment with  neutron activation  analysis  (NAA) method     The determination of the elements in sample was conducted by gamma spectroscopy.  The mercury disposition in sample was determined by comparing the cps of sample and the cps of standard (20 ppm). The results showed that the mercury disposition in water at TPI pier, KPLP pier, Dephub pier, and Kampung Mendawai were 0,25 ppm,0,14 ppm,    0,19 ppm,  and  0,09 ppm  respectively.    The mercury disposition at sediment in TPI pier and Dephub pier were 1.56 ppm0.63 ppm  respectively.  on  the  other  hand  the  disposition  of  the mercury in KPLP pier and Kampung Mendawai were not detectedThe mercury disposition at algae  in a  cross  of Pertamina   office, Taman Alun-Alun  Kapuas, Kapuas bridge, and near Sudarso hospital were 0,41 ppm, 0,59 ppm. 0.58 ppm, dan 0,68 ppm respectively.Keywords: The mercury disposition, water, sediment, water biota. andNAA.
