Abstract

Digibook is a digital book that has access to information, has facilities that can make learning more interesting, visual and interactive. This activity involves cooperation with the partner schools SDN Girimoyo 2 Malang Regency. To succeed in this partnership teachers who will become trainees need to get strengthened concepts, learning media materials, and new experiences in developing technology-based media as a support in conducting classroom learning activities optimally.The method of implementation in this activity is training workshop, mentoring, and implementation digibook media. Further activities of assistance is making digibook (digital book). Assistance is done in order to manufacture media digibook product (digital book). Each teacher will get direct mentoring from the team. In this mentoring activities teachers are accompanied so that teachers are directly able to produce digibook (digital book) products in accordance with the material being taught.The final result showed as a form of finishing from making media digibook that is media product digibook and implementation media digibook (digital book) on learning. Teachers can implement digibook products (digital books) that have been made in the previous stage and realized in the learning activities. The companion team acts as an observer who will observe and provide resolutions regarding the application of media digibooks (digital book) to classroom learning.

Abstract

In Indonesian language learning In Primary School there are four skills that need to be mastered by the students that is listening skill, writing skill, reading skill, and speaking skill. In reading learning, students often feel bored and unmotivated in learning. Related to the importance of learning read comprehension, necessary methods that can foster motivation and interest of students in reading comprehension activities in school. Learning comprehension reading should be done with appropriate learning methods to achieve optimal learning outcomes. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Cooperative Script method, in improving reading comprehension in grade V students of SD Negeri 17 Parepare. The type of this research is experimental research using one group pretest posttest design. Variables in this research is Cooperative Script Method as independent variable and skill reading comprehension level as dependent variable. The sample in this study is all students of class V SD Negeri 17 Parepare which amounted to 37 people. Technique of collecting data using comprehension reading comprehension test in the form of objective test 30 item. The validity of the instrument used is the content validity. Reliability test was analyzed by using alpha cronbach coefficient formula. Data analysis technique is done by using t-test technique with respect to normality and homogeneity. The results showed that the mean score of students' reading ability before and after treatment increased from 16.86 to 24.06. The result of t-test analysis shows t-test equal to -24,829 with db = 36, and p value 0.000. The p value is smaller than the significance level of 0.05. In other words, the Cooperative Script method is effectively used in reading comprehension learning.

Abstract

Along with the development of the theory of Multiple Intelligences in the realm of education and learning, it is possible that the renewal in the cultural order of schooling. School as a systematic institution inheritance of the nation's cultural values will undergo changes in accordance with the development of the paradigm of intelligence. The importance of school culture as a place for students to develop a variety of intelligence, it is necessary model of school culture that accommodate the growth of various intelligences of students. The results showed that the school culture model based on multiple intelligence developed in SD Inpres Palanro was valid, practical, and interesting. Furthermore, the use of the school culture model was effective in increasing the activity of teachers and students in SD Inpres Palanro.

Abstract

Based on the results of studies on literacy skills, analysis of the empirical situation and condition of libraries in various elementary schools in Kota Parepare, it can be concluded that the problems faced by the majority of primary schools related to library functions to improve reading culture and literacy skills of students are: 1) governance libraries are still low, 2) the competence of human resources library managers are still low and 3) empowerment of library utilization programs in primary schools to improve reading culture and literacy skills of students who are still low too. So this devotional program provides solutions to overcome the problems of partners in the form of assistance to optimize the function of school libraries. Assistance involves implementers of service programs, lecturers and students in course of Pengelolaan Perpustakaan di SD, principals, teachers, staff and students at 6 partner schools. Stages of mentoring is to rearrange the management of libraries both administration and governance of the room and collections, upgrading the ability of library management and library program development activities to improve reading culture and literacy skills of students. Based on the results of assistance, it can be concluded that the mentoring has succeeded in restoring the function of the library as a center of literacy activities in primary schools. Arrangement of administrative, interior and collections make the library in 6 partner schools an interesting and fun place for student literacy activities. Facilities and programs to improve reading culture and literacy skills of students have also been established and implemented in 6 partner schools.

Abstract

This research is experimental research. The expected long-term goal of this research is that through an investigative group study model with vision of SETS, it will be able to improve cognitive, affective and psychomotoric learning outcomes and students’ creativity, which relate between natural resources with environment, technology, and society and how to utilize the environment. The specific targets of this research are (1) developing and implementing learning natural resources materials in natural sciences subject course (teaching materials and lesson plans) based on learning model of study group with vision of SETS (2) increasing students’ learning outcomes of elementary school, activities and responses to cooperative learning of investigative group with vision of SETS. To know the difference of natural science learning outcomes between which was taught using study group model of SETS visionary and conventional learning, it used inferential statistic is t test. This study involved 3 classes and 3 elementary schools at Palopo. The experimental design used is One Way ANOVA. In the experimental classroom, treatment class 1 employed investigative group learning model with vision of SETS and the experimental class 2 used an investigative group learning model and 1 control class used conventional learning. Stages of data collection were the provision of test results and students’ questionnaire responses. The data collected were analyzed qualitatively, quantitatively, descriptive statistical analysis, and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed after the treatment between the model class Investigation group with vision of SETS, investigative group model class and conventional class, based on student learning outcomes, there was a difference in which the investigation group is better than the conventional class, the SETS vision investigation group is better than the conventional class while the investigation group and investigation group SETS have no difference. It was concluded that investigation group class with vision of SETS is better than the conventional class, in line with the responses of students which were classified as good category and students’ activity increased.

Abstract

This study originated from the fact low yields and students learn science in understanding the science learning difficulties in class IV SDN 002 Langgini. This is because the teachers do not give lessons in accordance with the concrete situation of the students. One solution to overcome this problem is to use a problem-solving approach.approach Problem solving is an approach to developing reasoning power, skill, and creativity in problem-solving so that students can improve learning outcomes, thus the purpose of this study was to describe the learning outcome in the fourth-grade science students with the approach. problem solvingThis study uses qualitative and quantitative approach to the form of research is classroom action research. This study was conducted in two cycles. The research was conducted in the fourth-grade SDN 002 Langgini. Collecting data in this study using techniques of documentation, observation, and tests. Data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Improved student learning outcomes in science learning with approach problem-solving in each cycle can be seen from the average value of 70.1 with a percentage of completeness 71% in the first cycle and the average value of 83.1 with a percentage of completeness 93% in the second cycle.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of financial and non-financial compensation on the effectiveness of school management. The research method used is quantitative approach. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and data analysis techniques using descriptive and inferential statistics. From result of hypothesis test that there is significant and positive influence between financial and non financial compensation to effectiveness of school management with result of test F = 148.582 and t test = 12.189 with significance value 0,000. The contribution of financial and non-financial compensation to effectiveness variable of school management is 0,347 which can be interpreted that 34,7% variance of school management effectivity can be influenced by financial and non financial compensation variable and the rest is influenced by other variable not examined in this research. Based on these results it can be concluded that the better the financial and non-financial compensation then the better the effectiveness of primary schools in Kutai Kartanegara.

Abstract

Local culture in a society is an identity and identity for them. The existence of culture in a society, shows that they as a society have a work, taste and copy that they should be proud of. Local culture in its implementation has the value and ability to build the character of the nation for its people, as the celebration of maudu lompoa and appaddekko has a driving force in building the character of the community that celebrates it. There are several characters built in the cultural celebration that can be observed, among others, mutual cooperation, a sense of unity, respect for difference and equality, hard work and brotherhood. Therefore, the local culture should be preserved and given wide space to develop, because it can be a medium of character education transformation for the younger generation.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) determine the feasibility ofpicture card game media in with a think pair share techniques, and 2) determine the effectiveness of picture card game media to the learning with a think pair share techniques for grade 3 students of MI DDI I Palopo City. The type of this research is the research and development (R&D). Development is donereferring to Dick & Carey model of development through 9 stages. The stagesinclude Identifying Instructional Goals, Conducting Instructional Analysis, Analyzing Learners and Context, Writing Performance Objectives, Developing Assessment Instruments, Developing Instructional Strategy, Developing and Selecting Instructional Materials, Designing and Conducting Formative Evaluation of Instructional, and Revising Instruction. Validation products involves 1 media expert lecturer, 1 lecture rmatter expert, 2 practitioners, and 2 colleagues. The subjects of the research trial were grade 3 students of MI DDI I Palopo City 2017/2018 school year consisting of 9 students on a small group test and 29 students on a large group test. The instruments used are the interview guide, feasibility assessment sheets picture card game media, and observation sheets. Data collection techniques used are interview techniques, product assessment, and observation. Techniques of data analysis used descriptive analysis, paired samplest test for the effective nessand use of the score conversion to thequalitative data for practicality. The results of one to one trial from experts, practitioners, and colleagues showed picture card game media with make a match techniques of learning fit for use with “excellent category”. Small group trial get positive response as “good criteria”. Large group trial tested effectiveness and product-used practicality. Effectiveness in terms of the result of student’s learning show different mean from 81.23 becomes 95.40. There is increased result of student’slearning showing significance value 0.001 with significance level 0.005.   Practicality of media-used based on teacher’s observation results obtained percentage of95% andthe observation ofthe students obtained 88.75%, respectively with the same practicality criteria, namely"highly practical".
