Abstract

Higher education is obliged to carry out education, research and community service. Through the tridarma of higher education students must actually contribute to society. This research focuses on the role of Southeast Aceh university students as Agents of Social Change. This study uses qualitative research methods with a sociological approach. The results of this study indicate that students of Southeast Aceh Islamic tertiary institutions have played a positive role in the formation of people's lives and have a very important, strategic role in the formation of moral, moral and ethical learners who are currently at the lowest point in community development. The role of Islamic education is to create and create students who are characterized or Islamic in character, who are part of the community.

Abstract

Character education is understood as an effort to instill intelligence in thinking, appreciation in the form of attitudes, and experiences in the form of behavior that is in accordance with the noble values that are the identity of themselves. Character education instilled in Islamic education is the creation of the nature of students who have moral character. The importance of character education because some of the problems of the current generation are moral crises. The research method used in qualitative research with field research uses a descriptive approach. Based on the data analysis found The form of character education material in moral akidah learning at MIN 3 Middle Tapanuli requires teaching, exemplary, and reflection of morals, worship, and aqeedah. The most important points in character education teach children to behave according to the guidance of the Koran and the Sunnah. Implementation of Character Education in moral learning in MIN 3 Central Tapanuli is carried out in three ways, namely learning activities in the classroom, activities outside the classroom, and activities outside of school. Existing facilities and infrastructure are recognized or not have helped provide convenience in character education in moral akidah learning at MIN 3 Central Tapanuli with existing materials and using methods of habituation, exemplary, and reflection as well as methods that activate students in the process learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the role of the Darusaa'dah Islamic Boarding School in the Pangkalan Susu District of Langkat in the Form of Santri Character The approach used is case study. The object of this research is religious Islamic education institutions. Data sources are people who are directly and indirectly involved with pesantren. To collect these data, the author uses several techniques in data collection, namely documentation, observation and interviews. Data analysis in research uses interpretive patterns that aim to achieve a correct understanding of facts, data and symptoms. In this study researchers focused on two curricula, namely the pesantren curriculum and the general education curriculum. used in the Darusa'dah Islamic Boarding School which is related to character formation. The Darusaa'dah Islamic Boarding School curriculum accommodates students who focus on learning two curricula, namely the pesantren curriculum and the general education curriculum. The pesantren curriculum material taught is sourced from the yellow book which includes; religious laws, monotheism, morals and Arabic. The education curriculum of the Darusaa'dah Islamic Boarding School is focused on the teaching of the Koran, hadith and the books written by the previous ulama. Educational material is presented based on class. The pesantren curriculum and general education curriculum are taught in the Darusaa'dah Islamic Boarding School, as well as forming the character of the santri.

Abstract

The quality of education should be able to produce skilled graduates, capable of being in accordance with their level of education, honest and most importantly, good morals. Improving the quality of education that is more qualified, among others, through the development and improvement of curriculum and evaluation systems, improvement of educational facilities, development and procurement of teaching materials, and training for teachers and other education personnel. The purpose of this study is to find out what the madrasa principals do at MTs. Private Miftahul Falah Diski. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach that is a research method that produces descriptive data in the form of written or oral words from people as research objects and observable behaviors so that they are detailed from a phenomenon under study. Based on the results of the study it was found that the leadership carried out by the head of the madrasa in MTs. Private Miftahul Falah Diski is classified into the type of democratic leadership in which the head of the madrasa always holds deliberations to the entire board of teachers, staff and administration in determining each decision to be made. Quality of education in MTs. Private Miftahul Falah I have fulfilled 8 National Education Standards, and it is evidenced by the accreditation of MTs Private Miftahul Falah with the accreditation of B.

Abstract

The education curriculum applied by Muassasah Assaqofatul Islamiyah has so far not supported the development and understanding of Pattani's Malay children towards Islamic law. The main issues discussed were the Curriculum Policy Analysis in Tsanawi Muassasah Assaqofatul Islamiyah Pondok Pombing in Pattani (South Thailand). The purpose of this study was to find out in depth about the implementation and development of educational curriculums carried out in the Assaqofatul Islamiyah Muassasah. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive. Data collection techniques using interviews were submitted to 18 respondents. In this processing technique there are 2 (two) activities, namely editing and tabulating. Data analysis techniques used in this study are qualitative descriptive techniques with data obtained in the form of information or descriptions of sentences (qualitative data) that are not related to numbers. The results showed that the educational objectives applied by Assaqofatul Islamiyah Islamic Education were not appropriate to the times, curriculum content was still lacking in forming students to achieve educational goals, the media did not fulfill learning, strategies or methods of education had not been used properly, there were still many shortcomings the process of education and learning evaluation is still not properly used. Based on an analysis of all of these factors (Education Curriculum), it can be concluded that the implementation of the education curriculum in the Assaqofatul Islamiyah (Pondok Pombing) Pattani (South Thailand) curriculum was not good enough.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the perceptions, impacts and barriers of communication on the social relations of Padangbolak people and Mandailing people with other tribes with the nickname of the gutgut ni halak, Padang, and the Mandailing halak for the Padangbolak people and the Mandailing people towards the nickname of the Halak Mandailing colony. To achieve this goal, this study uses a descriptive approach research method with research subjects namely Padangbolak and Mandailing people who settled in Pargarutan Julu Village, Angkola Timur sub-district, South Tapanuli district, by conducting direct observations in the field and conducting interviews determined through Purposive sampling that is to determine the informant intentionally by using the criteria set by the researcher. The results of the study show that the stereotypes are formed by social categories which are individual efforts to understand their social environment. In other words, when individuals face so many people around them, individuals will look for similarities between certain people and group them into one category. But in turn this social category actually affects the perspective of someone who has been included in the group.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the history, driving factors, adaptation, social solidarity, and barriers faced by Javanese and Sundanese ethnic transmigrant communities in adapting in Batang Pane II Village, Padang Bolak District, North Padang Lawas Regency. This study used a qualitative descriptive study with the subject of Javanese, Sundanese, and indigenous ethnic transmigrant communities namely the Batak Angkola sub-community. The results of the study show that the history of their transmigration was a result of the general transmigration program of 1982 under the rule of President Suharto. The driving factor is because you want to improve your standard of living, and get a more prosperous life. The adaptation of the transmigrant community went well, as evidenced by the interaction and communication that took place between each ethnic group. The social solidarity that occurs, can be seen in various kinds of activities carried out jointly, collaborating with each other and establishing cohesiveness in the community. Barriers to adaptation to barren soil environments so that people cannot grow crops other than perennials at the beginning of transmigration. The obstacle in communicating is because each ethnic group has a different language. The conclusion is that transmigrant communities with indigenous people each adapt to each other. The adaptation process does not fully occur naturally, but has been programmed by the government with evidence of laying houses for transmigrants and indigenous people randomly.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the construction of women's gender ideology through cases of marginalization of women in the Pakpak community in Pegagan Julu VIII, Dairi District, North Sumatra. The approach method used is qualitative with a feminist perspective case study design. Through the case study method, the existing data is developed with a variety of facts into a single case, so that the related data is fully utilized to achieve a deep and complete analysis. Data collection techniques used FGD (Focus Group Discussion), in-depth interviews and participant observation on women who became research informants. The results of the study showed that the construction of Pakpak women's gender ideology in the family was a patriarchal gender ideology that was attached to Pakpak women's values

Abstract

Dewasa ini banyak dari kalangan perempuan menuntuk hak agar disama ratakan hak antara laki-laki dengan perempuan. Dalam kehdupan sehari-hari wanita sering merasa mereka hanya sebagai pelengkap belaka alias tidak memiliki peran penting dalam berkarya maupun dalam memperoleh warisan dari orang tua. Kaum perempuan menganggap sumur, dapur, dan kasur adalah tempat yang kurang tepat, sementara kaum laki-laki disiapkan makanan pulang dan pergi kerja, maka dari situ wanita ingin keluar dari belenggu tersebut menjadi wanita yang bebas berkarya dan berekpresi layaknya seperti laki-laki.

Abstract

 Pernikahan/Perkawinan adalah moment yang sangat penting dalam hidup seseorang karena akan dikenang sepanjang hidup. Pernikahan menyatukan dua manusia menjadi satu keluarga. Pernikahan juga menyatukan dua keluarga besar dalam jalinan persaudaraan. Dalam pernikahan, dilakukan beberapa acara mulai dari ritual pernikahan atau acara –acara adat sampai dengan resepsi pernikahan. Resepsi pernikahan yang identik dengan pesta pernikahan, baik itu secara sederhana maupun pesta besar –besaran. Dengan adanya kemajuan teknologi ini maka konteks kehidupan pada jaman dahulu dengan sekarang sudah tentu berbeda jauh. Untuk membuat suatu peraturan atau tata-tertib perkawinan, sudah pasti para nenek moyang dulu juga telah memperhatikan konteks pada waktu itu sehingga tata-tertib yang dibuat itu nantinya mampu untuk menjawab kebutuhan masyarakat atau kelompok tertentu pada waktu itu. Setiap peraturan yang dibuat juga pasti mempunyai suatu tujuan yang baik yaitu untuk terciptanya keharmonisan dan kesejahteraan dalam kelompok tersebut. Di negara kita juga ada peraturan perkawinan yang diatur dalam Undang-undang Perkawinan. Apabila terjadi suatu perkawinan semarga dalam batak Toba maka hal itu dianggap sebagai yang tabu dan pasangan yang menikah itu akan dikucilkan dari masyarakat di mana ia berada. Ini berarti terjadi penolakan terhadap pasangan yang melakukan perkawinan ini, dan yang lebih parahnya lagi, ia tidak akan pernah memperoleh pengakuan dari adat Batak Toba,masyarakat Batak Toba menolak perkawinan semarga alasannya karena masih satu darah atau masih keluarga.
