Abstract

Minimarket is one form of retail trade continues to grow and spread rapidly in the neighborhoods and the corners of the big cities in Indonesia as well as business becomes the most expansive retail trade in Indonesia. Semarang as the capital of Central Java is also facing the phenomenon. One of the mini-environments where scattered settlements and significantly expand the District Mijen. Since the first minimarket outlets operating in the region in 2007 until February 2013 there have been 7 minimarket outlets operating. Research Question It can be concluded from this study is what the development of a minimarket in District Mijen can influence changes in consumer behavior in determining the location of shopping options?  The research methode used in this study using a quantitative deductive rationalistic. Based on questionnaire, interviews and observations, the identification and analysis techniques of quantitative descriptive analysis and interpretation of cross-tabulation analysis techniques among variables that were examined in the form of table analysis and chi-square crosstab. The development of minimarket condition every day visitors who come around 300 people, with the total 7 minimarket mini market until 2013. Minimarket well as projected needs 10 years from now seen that the projected need for services in the District Mijen minimarket stated is sufficient to serve. Consumer behavior is largely based on the mini frequency of visits was done 2 times a week, daily necessities, distance and outlets are clean and organized is the biggest factor affecting the motivation of respondents to shop at the mini. Range of minimarket located in District Mijen is overlapped between the mini with the other minimarket. Distance range that is divided into the ring I 500 meters and ring II 1 Km. The need for evaluation of spatial planning through distribution pattern minimarket and community shopping destination location so as to anticipate the entry of modern retail in maintaining continuity of traditional retail (traditional retailers).    Keywords: minimarket, consumer behavior, and the range of services

Abstract

Sukun region located in the southern city of Semarang is an activity node meetings between Semarang Upper and Lower part. In addition to the node activity, regional transport node Sukun is also because of the intersection between Setia Budi roads and highways. The rapid growth of traffic is felt at Setia Budi roads, this is because of the way as the initial point of entry into the city of Semarang from the south ( Yogyakarta - Solo ) both vehicles are going to Semarang and the entrance to the highway with a wide range of purposes. And trading activity and the presence of onsite services that are in the area resulted in increased activities of road users, the incidence of traffic generation and the high side barriers, which at certain hours of congestion and delays often occur. The research methodology used in this research is by using Deductive Quantitative Methods Rationalistic. With the technique of factor analysis and analysis of transportation, so it can be determined Level Of Service and factors - factors driving the cause of congestion in the area Sukun Banyumanik. The final results obtained from the analysis of the factors driving the causes of congestion on area Sukun is that congestion is due to the on site activity, the high capacity of the road, next to the barrier height and geometric conditions of the road.

Abstract

ABSTRACTMuna is an archipelago in Southeast Sulawesi, so as to distribute the crops and the potential of the region in Muna are more optimal by using of sea transportation. The port is expected to support the activities of loading and unloading of goods, up and down the passenger activities, so that the ship visits activity took place smoothly. On the other hand the port has a function of interface, meaning that it provides a variety of facilities and services which is required for transferring from ship to the land transportation and move goods from one ship to others. Node port terminal growth Paelangkuta Raha archipelago is a port-type collector. The port terminal is used as transportation among regions within the province or interprovincial. As well as being a place of transporting goods distribution services in the area of Muna Regency universal. The purpose of this study was to know the Influence of growth Node of Port Paelangkuta Raha toward Muna Regional development. To achieve these objectives, quantitative research in rationalistic approach is used in this research by using a simple linear regression analysis using SPSS16 application. Regional development made possible by the central growth which is based on the development of human resources and natural resources, both types of resource development takes place so that raises the flow of goods. Raw material is transported from producing areas to the plant site and the goods results are transported from producer to consumer. The findings from this research is that the growth Node of Port Paelangkuta Raha Muna affect the development area.  Keywords: Node, Growth

Abstract

Traffic congestion is a classic problem in big cities especially in developing countries such as Indonesia. Many things can be the cause of the traffic jam, for it is necessary to research on traffic congestion as much as possible, with the hope of producing the best solution for all.Congestion that occurs due to the activity and mixing between local and regional flows. The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of service and performance road cut Teuku Umar street and road Setiabudi, so it can be arranged alternative actions that can be done to address the problem of traffic congestion.The method used in this research is by using Quantitative Deductive Method Rationalistic, with retrofitting Level of Service and analysis of motion control (maneuver) in order to see the level of service road and the movement of traffic in motion over Jatingaleh Region Semarang. The results of this study is the identification of the causes of traffic congestion and the suitability of the performance in the study area (Region Jatingaleh).Level of service for road Jatingaleh area is the level of F means that hampered the flow of traffic, low speed, volume over capacity, congestion often occurs at a time long enough so that it can drop to zero. In the piece Jalan Teuku Umar and Jalan Setiabudi there are several types of motion control, there are approximately 5 crossing, diverging 6, 7 merging and 3 weaving. Seeing the condition of the poor level of service in most of the observation point, of course, reduce the performance of the maneuver crossing the road.Need for the recommendation that a new path with the added solution of the motion control analysis (maneuver) in the form of Grade Separation, can be Overpass (Flyover) or underpass.Keywords: transportation, congestion, road, and traffic.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the presence of terminal Mangkang Semarang to the problems in the surrounding area. In addition to the above-mentioned objectives of this research has the goal to identify Semarang city transportation management, transportation terminals Mangkang analysis, sera footprint analysis to find out the problems that arise, land use, and the use of function space. To achieve the goals and objectives of the research, the method of analysis used is descriptive qualitative analysis.Based on the analysis showed that the terminal performance is less effective and efficient impact on the problems in the surrounding area that the transportation problems in front Mangkang terminal form of congestion caused by transport stops outside the terminal, use less maksmial kiosks that appear hawkers, and environmental problems in the area of the terminal. From the analysis carried out resulted in a recommendation that is used as an alternative in solving problems encountered in general in the terminal region Mangang related to transportation management, transportation terminals, and terminal area footprint. Keywords : Transportation, Terminal, Regional development.

Abstract

ABSTRACTUrban economic growth is gradually change the land use from the residential into commercial. This kind of development character could decrease the quality of the physical space and its impact that the cities were losing its’ character. Shop-lined along the road is not good in terms of the aesthetics of the city. These symptoms appear during the difficult of road users to identify their location. The elements in the corridors look physically diverse, random and not unique to easily recognizable because of those problems the need for the study of the physical characteristics of the corridor space Jl. MT Haryono is had to be done which is one of the commercial corridor in Kendari so that it can be seen should be noticed in order to accommodate changes.The method that used in this study is a qualitative method that aims to make a systematic description or picture of the physical characteristics of the corridor space Jl. MT Haryono, stock of knowledge that is presented in the study of the theory does not become limiting the study but is used as an opening insight to recognize the object of research. The analysis technique used is the visual analysis, and descriptive empirical. While the discussion is done by using several approaches. The output generated is the physical characteristics of the corridor space Jl. MT Haryono as seen from the path element, enclosure space, architectural pattern and street trees surrounding the corridor. The research results are influenced by the characteristics of the corridor function ± 80% of commercial buildings including the type of large commercial building plots with a single function or mix-used, and the type of commercial building single row. Commercial buildings represent the value of local distinctiveness and uniqueness in social and economic activities are shown through the decomposing of  the southeast Sulawesi’s custom house.Keywords: Characteristics,Corridor

Abstract

The use of land as a trade and service area contributes greatly to the development of urban economic structures, including in the District of Kartasura. Especially Kartasura's market activity which is always developing because it is a place to fulfill primary needs. However, the existence of this market and also the trade and service activities around it are increasingly troubling due to irregularities and disrupting transportation activities around the market. Geographically, Kartasura Subdistrict is quite close to the Surakarta City area (around 10 Km), and Surakarta City has a very rapid and dense development intensity and has a limited development area, so the development of socio-economic activities tends to move towards the Kartasura Sub-District area.Close socio-economic relations with Surakarta City made Kartasura experience rapid development in the growth of new activities along the A. Yani road. Such as education, health, trade and services, industry and office activities. With the growth of new activities along the A Yani road, traffic jams often occur at peak hours. The congestion is due to the mixture between modes of transportation, trade, industry and offices.The purpose of this study is to identify the performance of the A Yani road, to determine the effect of land use on congestion that occurs. To achieve these objectives, the analysis used is quantitative calculations. By comparing the road conditions at peak and non peak hours on the A Yani road. The method used in this study is analyzing the volume of the road (V) A Yani experiencing congestion, analyzing side barriers, speed, road capacity (C) A Yani, and the level of road service (V / C) A Yani. In addition to the quantitative analysis also conduct qualitative analysis to clarify the quantitative analysis that has been done. So that what is a problem on Jalan A Yani can also be analyzed, what are the factors that cause congestion and finally show conclusions and recommendations of problems.Keywords: Land use, Traffic Congestion
