Abstract

Purpose of this study was to improved empirically about differences of understanding and comprehension of students come from SMK majoring in accounting, IPS high schools and IPA high schools against of the basic concepts of accounting. The sample in this study are 161 students majoring in Accounting, Fakultas Ekonomi UNTAN which is listed as an active second semester students for the academic year 2012/2013 and has completed the introductory course in accounting 1. This study uses Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) test to measure differences of understanding and comprehension of students come from SMK majoring in accounting, IPS high schools and IPA high schools of the basic concepts of accounting. Results showed that there is there is no significant difference of understanding and comprehension of the basic concepts of accounting between students come from IPA high Schools and IPS high schools (H1), no significant difference of understanding and comprehension of the basic concepts of accounting between students come from SMK majoring in accounting and IPA high schools (H2), and significant difference of understanding and comprehension of the basic concepts of accounting between students come from SMK majoring in accounting and IPS high schools (H3).   Kata – kata kunci : asal sekolah, basic concept of accounting

Abstract

Greenmarketinghadir dengan melihatkepuasankebutuhan,keinginan,dan, hasratpelanggandalamhubungandenganpemeliharaan danpelestarian darilingkunganhidup.Greenmarketingberhubungan denganempatelemendari bauranpemasaran(produk,harga,promosi, dandistribusi).Tujuandaripenelitianiniadalahmengidentifikasi pengaruh staregi green marketing melalui pendekatan marketing mix (harga, produk, tempat, dan promosi), umur, tingkat pendidikan, jenis kelamin, pendapatan dan pengetahuan terhadap pilihan konsumen pada produk The body Shop, juga unuk mengetahui variabel harga, produk, tempat, promosi, umur, tingkat pendidikan, jenis kelamin, pendapatan dan pengetahuan yang mana dominan berpengaruh terhadap pilihan konsumen pada produk The Body Shop.Pengujian pada penelitian ini menggunakan model regresi logistic. Regresi logistic digunakan untuk menguji pengaruh harga, produk, tempat, promosi, karakteristik demografi (umur, jenis kelamin, pendidikan, dan pendapatan) dan pengetahuan terhadap pilihan pelanggan. Hasil menunjukkan produk, saluran distribusi (tempat), promosi, umur dan pengetahuan signifikan berpengaruh terhadap pilihan pelanggan sedangkan harga, jenis kelamin, pendidikan dan pendapatan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pilihan pelanggan. Sedangkan untuk variabel promosi berpengaruh dominan terhadap pilihan konsumen pada produk The Body Shop.   Keyword : green marketing, marketing mix, pilihan konsumen, the body shop, demografi dan pengetahuan

Abstract

The central theme of this research is that the job satisfaction and the lecturers’ performance are increasing because of the roles of transactional and the transformational leadership. The purpose of this research is to examine and analyze the influence of these two leadership styles in University of Tanjungpura with main focus on the study of Human Resources Management. This research employs survey design  in the form of verification  research. The sampling design used in this research is stratified random. From 987 lecturers in University of Tanjungpura, 60 respondents (lecturers) are drawn as samples from nine faculties and participate in this research. The data are obtained from the collected questionnaires and they are analyzed by using path analysis. The results have shown that (1) the transactional leadership has a insignificantly positive influence on the lecturer’s job satisfaction, (2) the transactional leadership has a insignificantly positive influence on the lecturer’s work performance, (3) the transformational leadership has a significantly positive influence on  the lecturer’s job satisfaction, (4) the transformational leadership has a significantly influence on the  lecturer’s work performance, and (5)  the job satisfaction has a significantly positive influence on the lecturer’s work performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of investment on economic growth, labor absorption and social welfare at province in Indonesia. The study period was five years i.e. from 2006 to 2010 by using secondary data provided by Central Bureau of Statistics in the form of combination between times series data (from 2006 to 2010) and cross-sectional data (33 province in Indonesia) also known as panel data. Hypothesis testing in this study is conducted by using Path Analysis Model under SPSS 17.0. Test of 5 (five) hypothesis with level of significance α = 0.05 obtained the following results: First, investment has a negative but not significance effect on economic growth. Second, investment has a positive and significance effect on labor absorption. Third, economic growth has a positive but not significance effect on labor absorption. Fourth, economic growth has a positive but not significance effect on social welfare. Fifth, labor absorption has positive but not significance effect on social welfare.

Abstract

This paper provides a review of 168 undergraduate theses submitted between the year 2002 and 2011 in management accounting topics. During this time, there is a changing interest of students in accounting research, especially in topic selection. To review the development of management accounting research in undergraduate level, this paper is structured according to the topics, theories and research methods used. The purposes of this review are to determine the main interest and map the past and current achievement of such research area in University of Tanjungpura. Based on the current trend and international hot debatable topics, the last section of this paper also gives a recommendation about the possible interesting topics for future research.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine whether there is influence of environmental awareness and premium prices to purchase intentions of green product for organic vegetable and fruit product in Pontianak. The total of sample are 93 people who domicile at Pontianak. The collecting data method uses interview and survey study. Method of data analysis uses statistic descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The result of this research shows that environmental awareness and premium price variables influence simultaneously to purchase intention of green product. The result of the partial is same also that both of variables like environmental awareness and premium influence significantly to purchase intention of green product. The amount of determinant coefficient (R2) 0,414 or 41,4% means the ability of explaining the influence environmental awareness and premium price variables to purchase intention of green marketing while the remaining is influenced by others independent variables which are not examined in this research. Keywords : Environmental Awareness, Premium Price and Purchase Intention of Green Product

However, there is no significant difference of understanding and comprehension between group of students that come from IPA high Schools and IPS high schools and between students group of students that come from SMK majoring in accounting and IPA high schools.
