Artikel yang dimuat dalam jurnal ini mengedepankan analisis objektif terhadap kasus manajemen dan organisasi dalam perspektif akademik berupa hasil penelitian di bidang manajemen dan organisasi dalam perpektif akademik berupa hasil penelitian di bidang manajemen dan review terhadap konsep manajemen baru maupun implementasi konsep manajemen dengan studi literatur. Redaksi menerima naskah dari berbagai pihak untuk dimuat pada jurnal ini. Naskah yang masuk harus mengikuti Format Penulisan Naskah Jurnal Manajemen dan organisasi.

Abstract

As one of the busiest toll roads in Indonesia, Jagorawi is exposed to various operational risks.  The purposes of this research are to analyze operational risks of Jagorawi toll road and to determine the effectiverisk reduction strategies. Cause and effect diagrams are employed to identify and classify these  risks. Then risk priorities are quantified by applying Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA). Finally, in order to determine prioritized strategies, Analytical Hierarchy Process is applied. The results indicate that the main risk is the traffic risk. The most prioritized risk reduction strategies are educating both the toll road users and surrounding inhabitants. This is then needs to be followed by developing the instrastructure, investing human resource quality, automating gate, and improving the service and safety.Keywords : AHP, FMEA, cause-effect, operational risk, toll road

Abstract

Quality and safety food products problem was usually after thought in the food industry development issues, accordance with the consumer’s desirability that understand the importance of product quality and food safety. Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) certification is one way for company to implementing food safety. Sierad Produce Corp. at this moment has obtained HACCP certificate to produce chicken carcasses.But the implementation need to be controlled, as the case of foodborne illness and foodborne disease can occur easily if not properly controlled. The main objective of this research is to develop the best strategy to implement HACCP and to maintain the food safety quality system at Sierad Produce Corp. The information and data that has been collected within this research were covering both the primary and secondary data based on the date of September 2012 to December 2012. The methods used in this research are descriptive analysis, Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE), External Factor Evaluation (EFE), Internal External (IE), Strength Weakness Opportunity Threat (SWOT) and Analysis Hierarchy Process  (AHP). Based on this research, the best strategy for implementing HACCP and sustain the system on Sierad Produce are Critical Control Points (CCP) evaluation and improvement of production room.Keywords: AHP analysis, chicken slaughterhouse, HACCP, sierad produce, strategy

Abstract

Entrepreneurial marketing is the suitable approach in terms of resource constraints and problems that exist in small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Footwear industry is a sector of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) that is supported by the government of Bogor. Problems of development of footwear industry are divided into two main factors: the competence of SMEs and local government policy. Based on these problems, this study aims to (1) Identify the characteristics of entrepreneurs, business characteristics and linkages both of them, (2) Identify and analyze the ability of entrepreneurial marketing, implementation of government policies and the ability of the competitiveness of small industrial footwear in Bogor, and (3) Identify and analyze the influence of entrepreneurial marketing and government policies on the competitiveness of the footwear industry in Bogor. Sample selection is done by purposive cluster sampling method. The samples in this study were 100 small business owners. This study employs three data analysis: descriptive analysis, index transformation analysis, and analysis of structural equation modeling (SEM) with partial least square (PLS). Characteristics of footwear SME owners in Bogor is included the low-educated group. However, they have excellent expertise in the producing of footwear. Characteristics of footwear enterprises in Bogor, is categorized as the long standing and major businesses. Based on the analysis of SEM with PLS approach, it is known that the entrepreneurial marketing variables have a positive impact on the competitiveness of small industrial footwear in Bogor, while the government policies variables have an indirect effect on competitiveness through entrepreneurial marketing variables.Keyword: entrepreneurial marketing, competitiveness, SMEs, footwear industry, PLS

Abstract

Today the growth of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) is increasing significantly along with the rise in competitiveness in this field. Accordingly entrepreneurs who want to get into the competition and do not want to be left behind by other SMEs in the business field have to pay attention to the quality of their product. The purpose of this study are: (1) to analyze the quality control (QC) on the production process in SMEs of Tofu (soybean cake) as Tahu  Bambu, Tahu Bandung Ashor and Tahu Bandung; (2) to  identify the factors which cause damage of Tofu as Tahu Bambu, Tahu Bandung Ashor and Tahu Bandung; (3) to identify the most influential factor affecting  the quality  of Tofu as Tahu Bambu, Tahu Bandung Ashor and Tahu Bandung; and (4) to assess the QC on the production process in the above three unit. The data used in this study were primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through direct observation and interviews with the SMEs, while the secondary data were taken from the internet and references such as books, journals and theses. Analysis tool used were Pareto Diagram, Cause and Effect Diagram and Control Chart. It is from Cause-Effect diagram that the factors affecting damage in three SMEs of Tahu were revealed, i.e human, raw materials, machines and tools, methods and environment with the main cause of most influence through analysis Pareto diagram is one piece. Abstract

CV Spirit Wira Utama is a company that develops business model of agricultural (agribusiness) with hydroponic system without using greenhouse (open roof). The aims of this research are: (1) to  identify the Human Resources Development working description in producing lettuce, and (2) to  analyze the ideal number of employees based on employee workloads by counting Full Time Equivalent (FTE). Human Resources Development that supports in production process of lettuce commodity are divided  into the involved in off-farm and on-farm activities. The off farm activities includes technique, production, finance and marketing. Otherwise, on farm activity includes garden employees. The result of the research shows working time of Human Resource Development has not been optimal. Furthermore, to reach the effectiveness and efficiency an  alternative that can be carried out by a company is by combining the technique and production positions, job enlarging of finance and marketing positions, and improving the production phase of lettuce.Keywords: employee needs, FTE, hydroponic, lettuce, workload analysis

Abstract

Analog rice is artificial ricewhose material is not from paddy, but it is made from a variety of local flour (corn, sago and shorgum). As a new product, Rice Analog require appropriate marketing strategies through analysis of consumer perception. This research purposes are to develop a marketing strategy through identification Analog Rice segmentation, targeting and positioning based on consumer perception. The analytical method used were crosstabs analysis, cluster analysis and biplot analysis with 73 respondent. Crosstabs result indicated that consumer characteristics (age, marital status, education, income and expenses of month), associated with their impression and interested  to re-purchase. Cluster analysis was delivered into four market segments, the third target market are 31-40 years old, married, the level of income of IDR 4,500,001 to IDR 6,000,000. Biplot analysis deliver positioning for Analog Rice product therefore this rice offers “health benefits”, “nutritive ingredients”, and “safe to consumed”.Keywords : Analog rice, consumer perceptions, marketing strategy, cluster analysis, biplot analysis.

Abstract

Capital market is a meeting place for people who have excess money and those who need money for  transaction of security. Every investor needs optimal profits with minimal risk. Portfolio is basically related to how one allocates a number of stocks into various investment types that results in optimal profits. By making diversification, investors may reduce the rate of risk and at the sametime optimize the rate of expected return. Based on this case this research raises the problem of how to design an optimal portfolio simulation. i.e. a combination of liquid shares LQ 45 list ini Indonesian Stock Exchange in the period of 2009-2011 by using two methods, using Single Index Model and Indexing. Single index Model is a model of portfolio analysis using the account of Excess Return to Beta (ERB) ratio and value of C* to gain optimal shares  on portfolio. The procedure of indexing is to make one’s own group i.e liquid LQ 45 calculating the risk and return then compare the result with Single Index Model, the procedure of all securities are ranked by ERB instead of Excess Return to Risk (ERR). After securities were ranked using the above ratio, securities with greater Excess return to standart deviation and cut off point (C*) were included into the optimal portfolio. The conclusion of this research is that it is better to choose Single Index Model as the methode  resulting in optimal profits.  Keyword: Optimum portfolio, LQ 45, single index, indexing

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengelolaan kredit, faktor-faktor sumberdaya manusia (SDM) dan nasabah yang memengaruhi kelancaran kredit serta menganalisis tingkat kesehatan dan peramalan keuangan Amartha Microfinance. Metode analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara serta analisis faktor, analisis rasio, analisis tren dan peramalan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kunci utama pengelolaan penyaluran kredit adalah proses pembentukan kelompok yang dilakukan sendiri oleh anggota, sistem tanggung renteng selalu berjalan, disiplin kehadiran dan angsuran zero tollerant. Faktor SDM yang memengaruhi kelancaran kredit adalah aspek moral hazards dan morale hazards masing-masing sebesar 75,1%, sedangkan faktor anggota kelompok nasabah yang memengaruhi kelancaran kredit adalah aspek capital sebesar 64,3%, aspek capacity 52,2% dan aspek character 50,2%. Rasio likuiditas dan solvabilitas berada pada kondisi sehat, peramalan rasio likuiditas dan solvabilitas cenderung menurun.

Abstract

Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) Microsoft Open Value Subcscription for Education Solution atau IMOVSES merupakan program promosi Microsoft yang dikelola oleh IPB dalam rangka memperkenalkan sekaligus meningkatkan penggunaan produk Microsoft berlisensi kepada sivitas akademika IPB dengan cara menawarkan produk Microsoft berlisensi dengan potongan harga yang signifikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik sivitas IPB terkait keputusan penggunaan software berlisensi, menganalisis respon sivitas IPB terhadap program promosi IMOVSES, serta menganalisis efektivitas penganggaran biaya program promosi IMOVSES. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik sivitas IPB adalah chi square, untuk menganalisis respon sivitas digunakan EPIC Model dan Direct Rating Method, sedangkan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penganggaran promosi digunakan analisis regresi. EPIC Rate yang dihasilkan adalah sebesar 3,15, yang menunjukkan bahwa promosi berada pada rentang cukup efektif. Nilai direct rating (ǧ) diperoleh sebesar 64,14, yang menunjukkan bahwa promosi masuk dalam kategori baik. Persamaan regresi yang diperoleh adalah “Jumlah sivitas = 27,2+0,000027 Biaya promosi” yang menunjukan bahwa apabila biaya promosi ditambah sebesar Rp100.000,- akan menambah jumlah sivitas sebanyak 3 orang. Dibutuhkan setidaknya biaya sebesar Rp127.300.000,- untuk menjadikan program promosi efektif secara penjualan.

Abstract

Peningkatan kinerja produksi di industri manufaktur sangat penting dalam upaya peningkatkan produktivitas. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kinerja produksi yaitu melalui penerapan Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). Tujuan penelitian ini, yaitu mengidentifikasi penerapan Total Productive Maintenance di PT Xacti Indonesia, menghitung kinerja produksi dengan menggunakan Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), dan mengevaluasi faktor-faktor penyebab rendahnya kinerja produksi dan memberikan solusi perbaikan. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Hasil dari penelitian ini, yaitu perusahaan telah menerapkan TPM, namun masih ada operator yang lalai dalam melakukan 5S dan pada implementasi pilar-pilar autonomous maintenance masih perlu dilakukan perbaikan. Rata-rata nilai OEE selama bulan Januari 2014 hingga Januari 2015 sebesar 70,4%. Rendahnya nilai OEE disebabkan oleh mesin sering mengalami idle, waktu siklus aktual mesin tinggi karena kurangnya kegiatan preventive maintenance, dan tingginya downtime. Solusi perbaikan yang diberikan yaitu memberikan training kembali kepada operator tentang 5S, meningkatkan kegiatan preventive maintenance secara benar, dan dibuatnya cleaning room untuk sedapat mungkin menghindari terjadinya breakdown mesin.
