Abstract

The disaster that occurred in Sumedang district was the main concern of the services provided by the BPBD of Sumedang Regency, the handling of disasters that was fast and precise became the motto of BPBD. But in practice there are many obstacles, one of which is the lack of community participation in disaster reporting and many other technical constraints. Whereas with this reporting BPBD can quickly and responsively handle the disaster. E-disaster report based on Android BPBD Sumedang district is present as an electronic disaster reporting service to overcome problems in the BPBD of Sumedang district. This e-disaster report was built using a prototype software design methodology. This methodology is very suitable for software that continues to grow such as Android-based software. With this disaster report, people can easily report disasters. The location of the disaster can also be detected with the GPS feature on the Android smartphone. The community only needs to attach a photo of the event and the description of the incident and the report will be processed immediately by the investigating officer. With this application, Sumedang District people can participate in disaster reporting, and the BPBD of Sumedang District can be helped in carrying out the handling and handling of disasters quickly and precisely in Sumedang District.

Abstract

Nowdays, Alumunium is widely used and utilized in industrial activities because of light properties and having well mechanical strengths. The use of alumunium does not only limit on the use of new alumunium, but also the used one. The main purpose of this research, i.e., (1) testing of physical and mechanical properties of Al-Zn7 from the fussion of Crucible furnace; (2) analyzing crucible furnace of the Al-Zn7 fussion by comparing to the result of the first and second fussion. The method of this research was experimental research with the average value of each the first casting was 49,2 HRB and the second one was 50,3 HRB. Based on the test result showed that the quality of crucible furnace was good because it did not experience the significant changes.

Abstract

Laser cutting is one of the processes used as an alternative to conventional machinery that has goodcutting qualities and minimizes product damage. The workings of laser cutting is to direct the output of high laser power on the material to be cut, the material then melts, burns, evaporates by gas, and produces edges with a good quality surface. This study aims to determine the effect of laser head distance from the laser cutting machine on the spot diameter produced on the polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) material. This study used a laser machine with 60 watts of power and variation of laser head distance with an interval of 1 mm at a distance of 1-28 mm. Spot diameter value was gained measurement from using stereo zoom microscope with 30 X magnification and mapping. The result shows that the spot diameter was 0,229 - 0,990 mm. The factors that affect the value of spot diameter is the laser power used and laser head distance from the material.

Abstract

The growing and development of early childhood education institutions in Cirebon Regency, requires a very accurate location data collection so that information can be quickly accessed and presented. Accurate location data collection can be presented through an information system presentation mechanism from several stages in the system modeling process. System modeling must emphasize a very short development cycle that is needed during system development. This study emphasizes the modeling of the Rapid Application Development system, so that the information system for PAUD location data collection in Cirebon Regency can be produced quickly and accurately in less than 30 working days. Some of the stages developed in this study include business modeling, data modeling, process modeling, and ending with application implementation. The expected result of this research is that the system can help provide information on the location of early childhood education institutions in Cirebon Regency as much as 84,390%, while the quality of information produced is 85,366%, and the response to the system that can be accepted by the community is 84,390%.

Abstract

General elections or elections are one part of the democratic system to elect  representatives in the people's representative institutions. The Indonesian nation on April 17, 2019 will implement a mechanism for the succession of elections to determine the president for the period 20192023. This paper discusses the decision making to elect the 2019 RI presidential candidate. The author uses the Analytic Network Process (ANP) method and is assisted by super decision software to see the consistency values of each comparison table. This method is expected to be able to help all parties, especially the millennial generation in Indonesia, to find out what factors are taken into consideration in choosing RI 2019 presidential and vice presidential candidates. The object of the research is the Cilacap State Polytechnic student of the Informatics Engineering Department in 2018. that the main factor in choosing the president and vice president is  popularization and the Jokowi-Ma'ruf pair is a pair chosen by millennials because they are populist.

Abstract

Small and medium businesses are very rapidly growing in Indonesia. One of the activities in the small and medium business is the marketing process. The entrepreneurs tend to focus on production activities but for marketing strategies are not developed so that the market share is still local market. The problems that occur in marketing small and medium business products are little knowledge about marketing strategies, marketing targets and willingness to develop from the entrepreneurs themselves.Marketplace systems are built to increase market expansion so that it can help entrepreneurs to do marketing. The marketplace system is built based on the web, both entrepreneurs and buyers can communicate through the web marketplace. The results of this study are that the system can reach broader marketing with small and medium business marketplaces and more targeted.

Abstract

The confession of professionalism can be stated in the form of sertificate awarding to lecturer bycompetent institutions. The best effort that needed for comitting certified lecturer until it is tried to be able to increase the quality of state polytechnic of Cilacap because of lecturer is the most important component to determine learning activity process. The lack of preparation will cause the lecturer who recommended on certified lecturer can not pass well. The simulation of intern score calculation of certified lecturer will be conducted by institution through committee of certified lecturer. This research focuses on the simulation of intern score calculation of certified lecturer which recommended. The method that used was software development method, i.e., prototyping. The finding of this research is this system can help to simulate the data of score evaluation. The committee of certified lecturer will be easy to make decision in committing certified lecturer and the calculation of automatic simulation score will decrease errors in calculating total score of certified lecturer.

Abstract

One of information system management that can ease and support information and decision making that needed by medium and upper level management is to provide the easy of acces towards information within or outside that relates with the organization’s goal. This study was conducted in the higher education that has organization structure includes lower, medium and upper level management. The method that used was software delevoping method, i.e. waterfall. The result of this study is this information system can be used to support data menagement of quality assurance for support benchmarking of the higher education, obtain information of the higher education activities that agree with target or visi and mission, and also compare the progress of each unit in the higher education. Therefore, from the exsist studies, it can be easy for the executive boards to make policy and decision for running the higher education.

Abstract

Diesel engines are widely used as driving forces in vehicles and industry due to fuel efficiency and high output power. The wide use of diesel engines triggers an increase in fuel consumption and exhaust emissions that are harmful to health. Jatropha is a renewable fuel as a solution to increase fuel consumption. However, the high viscosity and low calorific value result in reduced performance and increased exhaust emissions. Butanol has a high oxygen content and cetane number and low viscosity compared to diesel and jatropha. Addition of butanol is possible to reduce the decrease in performance and exhaust emissions of diesel engines. this study evaluates the effect of butanol on reducing Isuzu 4JB1 diesel engine direct injection emissions. Percentage of blend used 70/30/0, 65/30/5, 60/30/10, and 55/40/15 based on volume. Tests are carried out at 2500 constant turns with a loading of 25% to 100% using the EGR system. The experimental results showed the presence of butanol caused a decrease in soot emissions produced by diesel engines

Abstract

Information about UMKM is very much needed by the Cooperative Office of UMKM in determining the direction of MSME development. Accurate data will have the right impact in determining development programs and services for SMEs. The problem that often occurs in managing UMKM data and Consultation is that management is still done  manually using a book, so the risk for data loss, double data, and data retrieval are difficult when data is needed quickly. So based on these problems it is necessary to have an Information System to manage MSME data. The method used is the waterfall software development method. The results of this study are systems that can facilitate datamanagement, speed up the data search process, classify according to criteria so that it can be used as a reference in the development and service of MSMEs and assist cooperative service consultants in the business consultation process.
