Abstract

Good or bad results of the child's development relies heavily on education (influences) received by children from various educational environment In such interactions, of course, there is the influence of both positive and negative. The development of more modern era, and the competition of life increasingly difficult, challenging each individual to improve the their quality. Therefore, it is necessary to be ready to compete with the needs of times. This is certainly not free from the influence of the environment in the form of education involving attitudes, behavior, and personality of the individual. A positive environment will make the behavior of students or learners positive as well.  It is because learners will mimic the behavior in their surroundings. It involves family environment, school environment, and the community.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran tematik berbantu media interaktif berkonsep Trihita Karana terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA ditinjau dari pengetahuan awal siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan posttest-only control group design. Populasi adalah seluruh siswa kelas III SD Dwijendra Denpasar. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 54 orang dibagi menjadi kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen dengan teknik random sampling. Analisis data menggunakan ANAVA dua jalur. Data pemahaman konsep dan pengetahuan awal siswa dikumpulkan melalui tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran tematik berbantu media interaktif berkonsep Trihita Karana berdampak lebih baik terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional dan terdapat interaksi yang signifikan antara model pembelajaran dan pengetahuan awal siswa.

Abstract

The low reading skills of students in Indonesia compared to the International encourages the government to issue a strategic policies that seek to build a love of the Indonesian people to read. At the level of the school, teachers as an executor of a policy use various strategies to improve reading comprehension of their students. One of the strategies used is reading aloud strategy. The implementation of reading aloud strategy in schools is often misunderstood, so it requires a clearer understanding of what it is reading aloud strategy and how its implementation. Reading aloud strategy is not just a way to teach reading but also a way to build a love of reading value. Love reading value character is important to get more attention in the middle of the decline of  reading comprehension level of Indonesian students in the world level which can also affect the development of the country.

Abstract

The new era presents teachers new challenges and responsibilities. The tradition of teaching English has improved dramatically with the inclusion of various types of advanced technology. Technology provides numerous choices such as making teaching interesting and more productive. Technology is one of the most influential boosters of social and language change. Since the use of English has progressed in popularity, the demand for qualified teachers to teach English is unquestionably required. It is true that there are teachers who use 'sophisticated' technology, although most of them still teach in the traditional way. None of these traditional behaviors is bad or damaging to students. In fact, until now they proved it useful too. However, there are various opportunities for students to gain self-confidence to practice and expand themselves, particularly for those who are learning English as a foreign language that learns the language for more than just having fun. If they want to be able to follow the learning process and gain more confidence, they must step into the world of multimedia technology.

Abstract

Guru agama Hindu memegang peranan penting dalam pembentukan karakter siswa melalui bimbingan konseling yang optimal. Karenanya kemampuan guru dalam mengatur dan mengendalikan kegiatan belajar mengajar sangat penting. Bahkan sikap guru sering dijadikan pedoman oleh siswa dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Besarnya pengaruh tersebut mengharuskan guru untuk bersikap dan bertindak hati-hati serta selalu memberikan bimbingan konseling kepada siswa yang menghadapi masalah belajar. Peranan guru Agama Hindu dalam bimbingan konseling kepada siswa sekolah dasar masih perlu ditingkatkan dan lebih dioptimalkan lagi, sehingga siswa mampu menemukan solusi penyelesaian alternatif jika menghadapi masalah belajar. setiap siswa di sekolah dasar memiliki kemampuan belajar maupun masalah belajar yang berbeda-beda. Tentunya guru agama Hindu harus mengetahui karakteristik dari setiap siswa. karena setiap siswa memiliki perbedaan karakter, minat, bakat, motivasi belajar dan masalah belajar.

Abstract

Character education of children cannot be separated from the role of parents in providing early upbringing to their children. Education of parents to determine how their upbringing to their children in the rapid technological advances becomes a challenge for parents to be able to educate their children not to be involved in promiscuity.The role of parents in fostering children's character can be done through various ways, such as to instill religious values, involving a wide range of organizations and self-purification through Bayuh oton ceremony. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 22 Dangin Puri  di Kelas III yang kemampuan siswanya untuk mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia  cukup rendah. Tujuan penulisan penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran Tematik dengan penerapan metode bercakap-cakap dan bercerita dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa. Metode pengumpulan datanya adalah tes prestasi belajar. Metode analisis datanya adalah deskriptif. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran Tematik dengan penerapan metode bercakap-cakap dan bercerita dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa. Ini terbukti dari hasil yang diperoleh pada pada awalnya 64,72. setelah diberikan tindakan pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 66,47 dan pada siklus II meningkat lagi menjadi 77,76. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran Tematik dengan penerapan metode bercakap-cakap dan bercerita dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar Bahasa Indonesia  siswa kelas III semester I Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018  SD Negeri 22 Dangin Puri

Abstract

Education is surely an important tool in creating qualified human resources. It could be formed when applying education as the key to the development of science and technology. In the Standards of Content published by the The National Agency for Educational Standards (BSNP), English language subject in elementary schools is directed at developing four skills, namely, listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills as a means of communicating and discourse in English at a certain literacy level. English language education in primary school, according to the Standards of Content, of The National Agency for Educational Standards (BSNP) has the intention to develop language skills used in accompanying the action. Building a vocabulary, in this case, is the main thing in learning a foreign language at an elementary school level. Vocabulary not only builds reading skills but also other skills. At a certain level, when students can develop their vocabulary mastery, they will automatically improve themselves on listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Utilization of Ludo Word Game media in order to optimize the mastery of English vocabulary in elementary school students is actually a Ludo game which has been modified in such a way, which has a purpose to improve the mastery of English vocabulary. In addition, students' creativity in learning can also be developed automatically by collaborating the pictures card media on this learning media.

Abstract

School is one of the places where students are able to get education and knowledge. For elementary school students, it is not always an easy thing to enter the school. Most of the elementary school students feel anxious to study at school. Anxiety which is happened during learning process is called learning anxiety. This feeling can be an obstacle for students to achieve the goal of the study. To overcome this problem, there are several learning approach can be applied in the learning process, one of which is Constructivism Approach. This approach can help students to cope with their learning anxiety because the teacher as a facilitator will raise the confidence of the students, involve students actively in the learning process and make them feel that they discover their own knowledge.

Abstract

 The most important yet trivial things that leads to our kids’ success is the choice of words that we use to praise them. Sound trifling indeed, however this has a great impact to how our children later perceive the world. Thanks to Professor Carol Dweck who has done many researches about what is actually behind a child success and failure. The answer goes to mindset, where Dweck categorized mindset into two; fixed and growth mindset. A simple concept but it does take huge amount of our time and effort as parents, educator to teach our kids to be a responsible, open to challenge individuals, and able to learn from mistakes and always perform the best of them.
