Lingkange strategy organizational conflict management by principals with the performance of teachers at SMAN 1 Lappariaja Kab. Bone.The study aims at examining (1) strategy organizational conflict management by principals and teacher performance, (2) the significant influence of leadership behavior toward lectures performance. This study is a survey research with quantitatif approach. The population is the entire teacher 35 people of SMAN 1 Lappariaja.The sample is selected by simple random sampling by those of the populations, which is 32 people. The variables are devendent variabel is teacher performance and the independent variable is strategy organizational conflict management by principals all are collected by using questionnaire. The data is analyzed by employing descriptive statistic and regression analyses. The results that the strategy organizational conflict management by principals is very good category, and teacher performance is in very good category. The strategy organizational conflict management by principal gives positive influence and significant toward teacher performance.Keywordsi: Strategi managemen konflik, kepala sekolah, kinerja guru.
This paper discusses the role of the principal as a supervisor in improving the quality of education. Principals as leaders of educational institutions should be responsible for all school / madrasah activities. He has full authority and responsibility to conduct all educational activities including supervision activities, both academic supervision and managerial supervision within the school / madrasah he leads. Principal As Supervisor serves to guide, assist and direct educators and educational staff to appreciate and implement the procedures of education to support the quality of education.This paper discusses the role of the principal as a supervisor in improving the quality of education. This research has purpose to know implemnetasi guidance and counseling program in Curriculum 2013. This research is classified as descriptive qualitative research by using pedagogical, psychological, and sociological approach. Implementation of research conducted at SMAN 4 Watampone Kab. Bone. The subjects of the study consisted of 1 leader and 4 counseling and guidance teachers using purposive sampling samples whose number could occasionally increase by using snowball sampling in line with the development of research data needs. Implementation of guidance and counseling in Curriculum 2013 at SMAN 4 Watampone shows that the interest of learners in Curriculum 2013 become a thing of counseling and counseling in various dimensions ranging from philosophy framework to its technical implementation.Keywords: Bimbingan dan konseling dalam kurikulum 2013.
This Thesis studies about application of Total Quality Management (TQM) in improving education quality (an experimental sudy at STAIN Watampone). The perfuse of this research is to know the application of Total Quality Management (TQM) in improving education quality in STAIN Watampone. The main problem of this research is application of Total Quality Management (TQM) and the increasing of education quality in STAIN Watampone?. What about the concept of Total Quality Management (TQM) in improving the education quality and what about the prospect of (challange and oppurtunity) Total Quality Management (TQM) in improving education quality in STAIN Watampone.This research is a field research by using qualitative method with a observation technic, interview, and documentation. Analysing the data process is using normative approach, sosiologycal approach, pedagocical approach and management approach. Then the Total Quality Management (TQM) more little which is not sampled because of population, but the first total informan is more little getting increase to the data needed.The result of the research refers to the education quality in STAIN Watampone refers to the education quality is enough enable by STATUTA and academic orientation. The educational quality STAIN Watampone refers to superiority of human resource quality of implementation of state collage is STAIN area. Concept, principle, and application TQM that aplicated in STAIN Watampone as principle refers to leadership concept that to try influencing, moving on, and directing the people to cooperative in reaching the one purpose that appropriate in reaching with standard quality which have decided by STATUTA and academic orientation STAIN Watampone. In the future, STAIN Watampone can change status from STAIN to be IAIN or University certainly, they can change the abstract be a challange that must realizated.Base on the result of the research, there are implication and recommendation to the competen side by improving learner process the future. There are by application of Total Quality Management (TQM) is hoped being able to improving educational quality in a educational institute to the Total Quality Management (TQM) must focus by stakeholder. By institute, expecially STAIN Watampone is hoped can apply TQM concept thay can will produce output give significant influence in qualitative method although by quantitative method.
The Effectiveness of Organization of State Islamic Institute (STAIN)Watampone. This study aims to: understand and uncover the effectiveness of Organization of State Islamic Institute (STAIN) Watampone. This study analyzes the effectiveness of organizations through a variety approaches and competing values include the ability to adapt, sourcing, planning, and productivity and efficiency. As for who becomes the object of research was variable of Effectiveness Organization and analysis using qualitative descriptive. The results of this research showed that the effectiveness of the organization Of State Islamic Institute (STAIN) Watampone based on the dimensions of ability to adapt to changes in the environment shows that is not optimal, and still continue to proceed in response to the demands of the external environment, especially the rules of top-down government, for example, the issue about the demands of quality education, in accordance with the National Standards for Higher education (SNPT), but in the technical implementation is still a lot of fundamental things that need adjustment quickly, especially associated with Tri Dharma College. Similarly in response to the issues that were hot in the community both at the locally, nationally and internationally. It was seen from the low structural design adjustments primarily related to the complexity of the component, and the formalization, but in terms of centralization components had shown good effectiveness with the granting of autonomy to the departements and study program. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the organization in gaining the support resources included in the criteria was not optimal, particularly with regard to the provision of facilities and infrastructure that relies solely on funds from the Revenue Budget and State Revenue Non Tax, Similarly in an increase in the number of lecturers in accordance with the ideal comparison with the number of students. While the organization's ability to got supported from the community in increasing the number of students was very effective as evidenced by the high enthusiasm of prospective students who apply from the year 2012/2013 until 2016/2017. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the organization on the dimensions of planning, shows the level of effectiveness is low, because the vision and mission of the organization was not able to be well understood by all elements of the organization, then the clarity size of the achievement had no time limited and clarity of area coverage is also unclear, and the manufacturing process still need to be involved all stakeholders. Further the effectiveness of Organization in production capability and efficiency, especially in producing qualified scholars still no best ratio between input and output. It takes ethics and law so that the negative impact of utilization of management information system can be minimized.
This paper describes improving the quality of education through school-based management, committee involvement and effectiveness of school implementation, curriculum implementation, and learning outcomes in schools. The education stake holders should be able to respond and accommodate the expectations and demands of the community in the decision-making process to improve the quality of education. The process transformation of school-based management should be a major part of the decision-making process in improving the quality of education. While the community is required for the participation in order to better understand education, while the government plays a role in determining the basic framework of education policy.
The purpose of this research are: 1) To know how characteristic of transformational leadership model of head of Madrasah Tsanawiyah State of Watampone. 2) Analyze how the leadership of transformational leadership of Madrasah head toward quality of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Watampone The results show that: 1) Head of MTsN Watampone is an ideal figure who can be a role model, able to inspire his followers to put their personal interests aside from the interests of madrasah and able to influence and motivate and give personal attention and support to his subordinates. This means that the head of MTsN Watampone proved to be practicing the four dimensions of transformational model leadership namely Idealized influence, Inspirational motivation, Intellectual stimulation, and Individualized consideration. Thus, the Head of MTsN Watampone has proven to have implemented transformational leadership whose success can be seen in the climate and quality of learning and school quality. 2) The successful leadership of MTsN Watampone's transformational leadership on Climate management and learning quality is considerable and good enough, which can be seen through lifestyles embodied based on a set of values or norms, habits supported by adequate facilities and infrastructure and, Responsibility, control, structure, and involvement of employees and teachers in the appropriate, harmonious and balanced division of tasks. Similarly, the Quality Management System is applied with respect to planning, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation. Taking into account various aspects: learning services for students; Educational facilities; School culture; Education financing; Attention and participation of the community or committee. Strictly speaking, the transformational leadership of the principal gives color to a conducive climate management and the quality of reliable learning, which ultimately determines the success of Madrasah quality.
