Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of products andpromotion of the decision to purchase instant noodles through culturalfactors as an intervening variable in Lahat District. The research design usedin this study is descriptive explanatory research with a quantitative approach.The analytical method used is quantitative and qualitative methods. Thevariables used are 2 independent variables namely Product and Promotionvariables and the dependent variable is the Purchase Decision plus theintervening variables namely Cultural Factors. Data samples used in thestudy were 367. The analytical tool used was the classical assumption modeltest, path analysis, and hypothesis testing.Based on the results of the studyfound that: (1) Products have a significant positive effect on cultural factors;(2) Promotion has a significant positive effect on cultural factors; (3)Products have a significant positive effect on Purchasing Decisions; (4)Promotion has a positive and insignificant effect on Purchase Decisions; (5)Cultural factors have a significant positive effect on Purchase Decisions; (6)There is a mediating influence on the cultural factor on the indirect influenceof the product on the purchase decision; and (7) There is a mediatinginfluence on Cultural Factors on the indirect influence of Promotion onPurchase Decisions

Abstract

Formulation of the problem was whether or not there is the influence of Cultural, Social, Personal and Psychology Factors partially and stimultaneously on Purchase decision of Insurance Products at PT. Sequislife Insurance of Branch Palembang. The study aimed for finding out the influence of Cultural, Social, Personal, and Psychology Factors onPurchase Decision of Insurance Products at PT. Sequislife Insurance of Branch Palembang. The study was conducted at PT. Sequislife Insurance of Branch Palembang which adressed Dr. M. Isa Street No.01 Kelurahan 08 IlirKecamatan East Ilir II of Palemban, South Sumatra.The study was conducted by using associate quantitative for finding out the influence among Cultural, Social, Personal, and Psychology Factorson Purchase Decision. The Population was 1000 people. The sample wascollected by using cluster sampling. The data was primary and secondary data. The data was collected by using quesitionare and documentation. The data was analyzed by using quantitative and qualitative. The result showed that cultural and social factors showed negative result, .personal and psychology factors showed positive result, it meanpersonal and psychology factors influenced significantly on purchase decision. Ftest showed there was a significant influence among Cultural (X1), Social (X2), Personal (X3) and Psychology (X4) Factors on Purchase Decision of Insurance Product at PT. Abstract

The obejective of the study was to determine the influence of corporate governance on corporate financial performance. The problem of the study was whether or not there was influence of corporate governance on corporate financial performance at plantation sub sector. The researchdesign was associative. The study was conducted at plantation sub sector. Dependent variabel was corporate financial performance with the indicators ROE and Tobin’s Q while independent variable was corporate governancewith the indicator were the board of director, independent commisioner, debt to equity and institutional ownership. The data was secondary using financial performance in period 2009-2012 quarterly. The technique of collecting thedata was information technology storage. The technique of analyzis the data were descriptive multiple linear regression. Based on F test showed that corporate governane positively influenced on ROE (Operational Performance) and Tobin’s Q (Market Performance) while t test showed that all indicators of corporate governance also positively influenced on ROE and Tobin’s Q in the other hard, debt to equity negatively influenced on tobin’s Q.

Abstract

This Study aims to determine the effect of task specialization and leadershipstyle on te effectiveness of employees at PT. PLN Baturaja. The analysisused is multiple linear regression analisys, t-test, F tes and coefficientdetermination. The results of the analysis indicate that the specialization oftask and leadership styles affect the effectiveness of empoloyees at PT.PLN Baturaja either partially or simultaneously. The magnitude of thecoefficient of determination ( R ) specialization of task and influenceleadership style by 30,20 % againt t he effectiveness of employees whilethe remaining 69,80 % influenced or varied by other variables. Reseacherssuggested that companies that consestently implement task specializationof employees and improving leadership style through a brefing that theemployee is willing to improve the effectiveness of its work.

Abstract

This research entitled “The Influence of Marketing Mix to Consumer Purchase Decision on Optical Humaira Sekayu”. This research is done by using sample as much 80 people taken by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used are questionnaire and documentation. Answer given by the respondents analyzed quantitatively using SPSS for windows versions 15.0. Research data quality is tested with test validity and realibility that the ordinal scale data is then transformed into a scale interval by using the help method successive intervals are integrated in Microsoft Excel. This research was conducted in the testing primary assumptions the regression includes data normality test, linearity test, multikolinieritas test and heteroskedastisitas test. The research result show the consumer decisions affect the marketing mix. Itcan be seen from the equation of regression result as follows: Y = 11,467 + 0,688X. That is, a good marketing mix will improve consumer decisions. It can be said that the higher the influence of consumer decisions, the higher the marketing mix. Conversely, the lower the marketing mix, the lower the consumer decision.

Abstract

Successful of an organization is determined by ability to adapt changes in the strategic environment to achieve good governance in government. The regulation of South Sumatra Provience No. 8 of 2008 about changes in the structure organization (resize) of Marine and Fisheries Agency of South Sumatra Province (DKP) that impact on Career Development (X) and performance (Y). The research was done in 6 months at DKP office, located at Jalan Pangeran Ayin , Jakabaring Palembang, starting from February-December 2013. The method is done by collecting secondary data and primary data in the form of questionnaires a total of 90 respondents to the census sampling, using multiple regression analysis and to see the effect of the variables and validating hypothesis. The result showed that the variables X significant effect on Y and X have a dominant influence on the performance of Y. employee performance is influenced by career development, which is used for policy in career opportunities.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of marketing mix (hotel products, price, place, promotions, people, pshycal form) for the consumer’s decision choosing a 3 star hotel in the city of Palembang. There are two problem in this research, first wheater the marketing mix together significant effect on the consumer’s decision. Second marketing mix partially significant effect on the consumer’s decision.The data used in this study are primary data trought 125 respondent answer. Models of analysis used multiple linear regresion throught the instrument validity and reliability. Test charactistics data that is test of normality and linearity test. Test model consist of multicolinearity test and heterokesdatisitas test.Result of testing multiple linear regresion showed of hotel products, price, place, promotions, people, pshycal form together with influence on consumer’s decision, in partially hotel products, place, promotions, people, pshycal form have a positive influence on consumer’s decision. Price have not effect on consumer’s decision.Price doesn’t afeect consomer’s decision choosing a 3 star hotel because consumer’s do not know the rates set price hotel. Dominan consumer’s coming from institutions to participate in training, workshop, seminars, meeting etc.

Abstract

This aimed of study was to analyze the form optimal portfolio BISNIS-27 Indonesia Stock Exchange in period May 2011 to November 2015. This study is used Single Index Model. The data used in this study was daily adjusted close price on period May 2011-November 2015. The sample was taken by using purposive sampling, which was always grouped BISNIS-27 Index.The result of the study showed that the use Single Index Model on 13 companies in BISNIS-27 exchange stock group for 10 period (May 2011-November 2015) found that there was 6 stock with each fund INCO (55.2797%), BSDE (37.171%), TLKM (4.947%), ADRO (0.17325%), KLBF (0.739%), and BBRI (0.1308%). Based on the calculation, the investor will receive the return portfolio about 0.524% with the risk of the portfolio about 0.0264%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of culture, environment, and motivation for employee performance of Training Center of South Sumatera employees not only jointly but also partially which usedpurpose sampling which is the third group employees of Training Center is 76 employees. Descriptive data analysis done after the data is converted to a form of interval using the Successive Interval. Multiple linier regression analysis done which is helped by SPSS Program for Windows version 16 to test the research hypothesis T test analysis results proved that culture, environment, and motivation variables have real influence for employee performance of Training Center ofSouth Sumatera employees which the constants is 2,085. Culture variable have real influence which is have regression constants 0,779 and motivation of employee have real influence which is have regression constants 0,4124.F test analysis results proved that F-arithmetic is 80,863 bigger than F-table of ? 0,05 = 2,737. It means that if the error rate 0,05, it will influence culture, environment, and motivation of employee jointly for employee performanceof Training Center of South Sumatera

Abstract

This research entitled Asset Structure (SA) and Earning per Share (EPS) on firm value in the minning sector listing on Indonesia Stock Excange (BEI). This Study aims to determine the effect of asset structure and Earning per Share (EPS) on firm value in the minning sector listing on Indonesia Stock Excange (BEI). There are two problems in this study are firstly whether asset structure and Earning per Share (EPS) together signifikan effect on firm value on the company sector minning who enrolled in BEI. The second is asset structure and Earning per Share (EPS) have a significant effect partially on minning companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). The data used in this research is twenty the minning industry listing at Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) from 2007 until 2010, with used multiplelinear regression method and classic asumsion test are normality test, multicoliniarity test, heterocesdasticity and autocorelation Test result linear regression shows the capital structure significant negatif effect, and together the value of the company in listed on BEI. Partially, asset structure have a negative and significant effect on firm value in minning companies listed on the BEI. While Earning per Share (EPS) has no significant effect both together and pastially on the value of the company in the minning sector listing on the BEI.
