Abstract

This study is intended to find out that rupiah exchange rates, foreign direct investment, domestic direct investment and inflation rates, have an effect toward the value of export of creatie industries. The analysis techniques used in this study is the technique of multiple linear regression analysis with Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method, F-test for simultaneously testing and t-test for partial testing. Results of data analysis showed simultaneously the rupiah exchange rates, the foreign direct investment, the domestic direct investment and the inflation rates that had significant effect on the export of creatie industries. F-test results show that the value of Prob (Fstatistic) is 0.00000 < default values of significance (0.05) with a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.984487, which means that the variable rupiah exchange rates, foreign direct investment, domestic direct investment and inflation rates contribution amounting to 98,4 % .The remaining 1,6 % was explained by other variables. Partially, the independent variables rupiah exchange rates and domestic direct investment have positive and significant impact on export of creatvie industries. Meanwhile the other independent variables foreign direct investment and inflation rates have negative and significant impact on export of creative industries.

Abstract

Central Java is a province that has a prosperous land and appropriate to for crops. This research aims to analyze the influence of Production, Domestic Price, and Rice Consumption in Central Java toward Import Volume of Rice in Central Java. The data that are used were secondary data during period 2010 – 2014, which were analyzed using multiple regression analysis to estimate the influential factors. According to data analysis report it shows that Production, Domestic Price, and Rice Consumption simultaneously had significant influence toward Import Volume of Rice in Central Java. Nevertheless, partially only Domestic Price, and Rice Consumption in  Central Java  that has  significant influence toward  Import  Volume of  Rice in Central Java. While the Determination Coefficient (Adjusted R2) = 0.584 or 58.4%, it means that the Import Volume  of Rice  in Central Java was 58.4%  which was explained by Production, Domestic Price, and Rice Consumption in Central Java, and the rest of 41.6% were affected by any other factors outside the models. The conclusion is the researcher can develop of factors affecting Import Volume of Rice in Central Java, such as inflation, exchange rate, gross regional domestic bruto, etc.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of recruitment procedures, the appeal of physical working environment, and the appeal of compensation toward motivate job applicants operator PT Pan Brothers Tbk and Group. The data that were used was primary data from 100 respondents, which were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis to estimate the influential factors. According to data analysis result, the multiple linear regression was Y = 12.665 + 0.384 X1 + 0.458 X2 + 0.313 X3, the coefficient of F test = 0.000 (<0.05), which means that all independent variables simultaneously had significant influence toward dependent variable. This research used 5% significant level, the coefficient of T test for the recruitment procedure (X1) = 0.011, physical work environment (X2) = 0.008, and compensation (X3) = 0.038, the significant value for all independent variables < 0.05, it means that the recruitment procedures, the physical working environment, and compensation partially has significant effect toward the motivation of job applicants operator. While the Determination Coefficient (Adjusted R2) = 0337, or 33.7%, it means that the recruitment procedure (X1), physical work environtment (X2), and compensation (X3) contributed 33.7 % to the motivation of job applicants operator (Y), while the remaining 66.3% were determined by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the implementation of quality control of products at PT Sari WarnaAsli II Boyolali by using statistical methods, to identify the type of dominant product defects and to identify the factors that resulted in product defect including Light Filling Bar, Miss Pick, and Filling Bar. The method of collecting data are interview, observation, and literature review. Analysis of quality control is done by using Statistical Process Control tools such as check sheet, histogram, c chart, pareto chart, and fishbone chart. Check sheet and histogram are used to present data become easier to be understood for further analysis. C chart analysis result indicate that there are 27 days in March 2016 in which the data is out of control limits, it means that quality control in the company needs further improvement. According to pareto analysis, the dominant of defects are Light Filling Bar (45,3%), Miss Pick (28,8%), and Filling Bar (25,9%). From fishbone chart, it can be known that the main causes that trigger the defects are derived from method factor, personnel (man) factor, and machine factor. The company could take preventive and corrective measures to reduce the defect level and improve quality among others, by enhancing supervision, improving work assessment, and regenerating machines.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how is the implementation of quality control products conducted in PT Apparel One Indonesia by using statistical methods. The data collecting method in this study is direct observation conducted in August 2015. Analysis of quality control is done using statistical methods contained in Statistical Quality Control (SQC) such as check sheets, histograms, p-charts, pareto charts and cause-effect diagram. C Chart analysis results indicate that there are four days which are still experiencing irregularities. Data on the number 14 (August 21th) and 16 (August 25th) has passed the lower limit which means percentage failure is good enough to close to 0. However the data number 13 (August 20th) and 18 (August 27th) the failure has passed the upper limit where the failure is reach 7.60 % and 8.14 % indicates that the process is in a state of uncontrolled or still experiencing irregularities. Based on Pareto diagram, it can be seen that the failure is mostly caused by skip at 30.4% followed by puckering 20.4 % then cleanliness 18.4 %, caused by broken 17.5 % and measure 13.3 %. From the analysis of cause-effect diagram, it is also seen that the factors causing products failure is derived from human factors, machinery production, working methods, materials/ raw materials and work environment. In order to prevent failure, the company can take preventive and corrective measures to reduce the level of product failure and improve product quality, such as training the worker, doing maintenance regularly, and inspection on the material quality.

Abstract

A large number of textile industry in Central Java increasing the demand for cotton as a raw material. However, the high demand for cotton is not followed by a large quantity of cotton production in domestic country. The problem statement in this research is how the influence of dollar/rupiah?s exchange rate and textile production toward cotton import in Central Java. The purpose in this research are to analyze the influence of dollar/rupiah?s exchange rate and textile production toward cotton import in Central Java. The independentvariablesin this researcharedollar/rupiah?s exchangerateand textile production, while the dependentvariable is cotton import in Central Java.Thedata that were used was secondary data during period 2009-2013 in monthly, the type of data were used quantitative data, time series data, and ratio data. The results of this research show that dollar/rupiah?s exchange rate and textile production simultaneously had significant influence toward cotton import in Central Java. Nevertheless, partially only textile production has significant and positive influence toward cotton import in Central Java. So, cotton is a derived demand, because it depends indirectly on the demand for the product.  Then, dollar/rupiah?s exchange rate has not significant and negative influence toward cotton import in Central Java. So that, cotton is an elasticity product and the availability of cotton became the important thing.
