Abstract

Fire is one of the problems that must be observed by everyone around the world, because fire is a disaster that can make the occurrence of damage, changes in the earth's surface and death, to be able to see changes in the earth's surface on a burning field can be analyzed using remote-based sensing vegetation index. The purpose of this study was to analyze the value of the six types of vegetation index and with the use of IDW analysis method in the area of fire that may result from the low level of vegetation index in Seram Island, Central Maluku to know whether the analyzed areas are which is prone to fire. Data collection obtained from BMKG (data of fire point number 2015), electronic news, USGS web (landsat image 8). IDW analysis results for the NBR index, resulting in a value that shows that all areas have the potential to fire with the value generated from 0.5 - 0.6 which is a medium - high fire rate value according to the classification of values and found in the 6 districts studied.

Abstract

Lecturers are an important component in the education system in higher education. As mandated in Law No. 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers, lecturers were declared as professional educators and scientists with the main task of transforming, developing, and disseminating knowledge, information, technology and art through education, research, and community service (Chapter 1 Article 1 paragraph 2). To measure lecturer performance, it is necessary to assess the performance of the lecturer. In assessing the performance of lecturers in the Informatics Engineering Study Program there are several criteria assessed. This assessment is based on the criteria for teaching and learning, research, community service and attendance at STIMIK Ten November November using the AHP method. And with an alternative, the permanent lecturer is STIMIK Sepuluh Nopember Teknik Informatika Jayapura. In a study of Decision Support Systems Lecturer Performance Assessment Using AHP Method in STIMIK Ten November Jayapura by conducting observations and interviews and weighting criteria and alternative values based on observation and interviews. Decision Support System Assessment of Lecturer Performance Using AHP Method is designed using the PHP programming language and MySQL Database.

The use of information technology needs to be analyzed so that the use of information technology can be aligned with organizational goals, particularly the analysis of the application of controls related to information technology operations management. Abstract

Siliwangi University annually holds a new student registration. Before entering the lecture activities, students are required to follow the student orientation program. However, the quality of given material, provided time, with physical and psychological condition of the students during the orientation become a barrier in the absorption of campus introduction information. Knowledge of campus building, the faculty which includes faculty staff, and available facilities will become the student needs in the course of support every campus activity. Based on that identified problems, application of augmented reality-based introduction guide on Android device become a solution in campus introduction of Siliwangi University to users, both for the academic community. The concept of this application is to introduce the campus buildings through an installed camera on the user's smartphone. By pointing smartphone camera to a monumental looking facility or building, users will get information about the building's description, lecturers and staff list, and photo gallery. The application which developed using the Luther-Sutopo method has been tested by alpha testing which results are functionally appropriate, as well as on beta testing obtaining a value of 70.6% of the constructed application is declared feasible to be used with the "Good" interpretation according to the Slovin validation level.

Abstract

In growing industrial era, communication technology through IP network is becoming vital for supporting enterprises productivities. One of high performance communications that is used nowadays is VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol). VoIP is able to do remote communication without spending high fees. Alongside with high requirements of transmitting and receiving data packet in network, bandwidth management is necessary, so that the decreasing of network performance will not occur. Bandwidth management methods supported by MikroTik RouterOS are HTB (Hierarchical Token Bucket) and PCQ (Per Connection Queue). This research compared HTB and PCQ methods for stabilizing VoIP based on MOS (Mean Opinion Score) parameter and QoS (Quality of Service) parameters such as delay, jitter, throughput, and packet loss using MikroTik devices. In this research, VoIP was tested in MPLS-TE (Multi Protocol Label Switching Traffic Engineering) network. The advantages of TE in MPLS combined with bandwidth management method are maximizing the resources and services in a network and resulting good QoS. The result of this research is that the best QoS and MOS values are from MPLS-TE network using HTB method in normal condition and full bandwidth. In normal condition, the value of delay is 16,02 ms, jitter is 0,00000004 ms, 0% for packet loss, and 146,4 kbps for throughput. When bandwidth is full, delay is 40,567 ms, 0,000000073 ms for jitter, packet loss is 12,667%, and throughput is 58,2 kbps.

Abstract

With the rapid development of technology, the type of ulos used is an obstacle in the traditional party of Batak Toba, Ulos is an object used in a traditional activity that is very important for Batak Toba people. Many types of ulos in Batak Toba therefore require a long time and ineffective results to look ulos types that are suitable for traditional activities. An expert system is a system that attempts to adopt human knowledge to computers, and one alternative to detect the type of ulos that will be used for certain customary activities. Through an expert system, it is easier to detect ulos types that are suitable for use in these customary activities, and also requires an accurate identification process to provide the right decision results. The identification method that used is forward chaining method. The usefulness of this research is to help users to access ulos types that are suitable for use in Batak Toba custom activities.

Abstract

Based on UU No. 9 of 1995, Small Enterprises are small-scale people's economic activities and meet the criteria of net worth of at most two hundred million rupiahs or have annual sales of at most one billion rupiahs and own ownership in the form of individual businesses. The government seeks to empower the business world to improve the growth of the business climate, fostering and developing so that small businesses are able to grow and strengthen themselves into strong and independent businesses. The issue that is developing at this time is not optimal data collection of people who have small businesses from the informal business sector due to the form of their business which is individual and not incorporated so that the lack of Regional Original Income can be obtained by the country. Many small businesses take place outside the formal sector from economic transactions formed by the country, but have the potential to increase business service fees. The informal sector refers to small businesses that are managed by individuals or families but are not equipped with adequate business licensing, red zone violations, reluctance in reporting tax obligations, non-compliance with labor regulations that regulate work contract issues, and have no legal guarantees in dealing with suppliers / customer. This research was compiled to create an information system capable of increasing the sources of Regional Original Income, especially those originating from regional retribution in accordance with UU No. 28 of 2009, namely business service fees which are regional levies as payment for special business services provided and / or provided by regional government for the benefit of individuals or legal entity. The using of the Location Based Service method on the software that is built will be able to handle and coordinate information on small businesses in each region so that it can help local governments to manage Regional Original Income specifically Business Services Retribution optimally.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to apply the monitoring & evaluation concept (M & E) in the student activity information system in the study program at Perbanas Institute. Student activities in higher education are usually very numerous and varied and require a financial aspect. Lack of monitoring and evaluation is the main problem faced by the study program on student activities. Thus, the M & E concept (including inputs, activities, outputs, outcomes, and impacts) needs to be applied to address these issues. The results of this study present Monitoring and Evaluation Information Systems for student activities in Study Program. This M & E information system for student activities will contribute to supporting the performance of the study program.

Abstract

The effort to keep customers is one of the important CRM strategies in each business that can increase profits for the company. The XYZ workshop which became the case study in this study focused more on attracting customers than implementing customer retention strategies. The aim of this research was to analyze customer transaction data in the XYZ workshop using the K-Means clustering method with RFM attributes to classify customers and determine appropriate strategies to retain customers. This research was conducted using a descriptive research method with a quantitative approach, whereas data analysis was carried out through the stages of data selection, preprocessing, transformation, processing and continued with RFM strategy analysis. The results of this study obtained 5 clusters with different strategies according to the RFM score obtained. This strategy can be used by XYZ workshop as a strategy to retain customers to provide more benefits.

Abstract

Weir is a construction which is used to withstand the rate of water, and ensure water is distributed evenly. In Indonesia there are many weirs are controlled manually. It is less effective because of many human errors, for example in Garut (21/09/2016) and Bekasi (11/20/2014, 04/21/2016). In this study, the automatic weir control system was designed using VDI 2206 design method. Data of water level and flow sensor were processed by a fuzzy logic method to determine the opening of sluice and condition of the weir (safe/danger). Data is displayed on interface based on Microsoft Visual Studio. The test results on the prototype (32x20x18cm) indicate system can work automatically with 99.7% accuracy. The error is affected by ultrasonic sensor error: 5,61% and water flow sensor: 4,83%. Interface show sensor data from microcontroller can be displayed in real time. Benefits of this system are it is easy to control and monitor the weir, water flow is distributed evenly, and provides early warning information to anticipate flooding.
