Abstract

Hypertension is one of the global public health problem. Management of overcominghypertension include two types of management, they are pharmacological and nonpharmacologicalmanagement.Oneofnon-pharmacologicalmanagementisawarmwatertherapy. Warm water therapy is useful in reducing muscle contractions that can lead to a relaxed feellingand reduce hypertension. The purpose of this research was to know the difference in bloodpressure before and after the warm water therapy in patients with hypertension at tambaksari, kembaran. this research used pre experiment method with one group pre-test and post-test design.Research instrument used were sphygmomanometer, stethoscope, thermometer and observationsheet. Population and sample in this research were members of elderly posyandu with hypertensionat Tambaksari. The sampling technique used in this research was Simple Random Sampling.Statistical test used was paired t-test with α value was 5%. The results showed that before beinggiven a warm water therapy systolic blood pressure average was of 170 mmHg and diastolic was90,36 mmHg. The result after bing given warm water therapy systolic blood pressure average was155,36 mmHg and diastolic one was 84,64 mmHg. The average decline of systolic blood pressurewas 14, 643 mmHg and 5,714 mmHg of diastolic one. It showed there is a significant difference ofsystolic and diastolic blood pressure before and after being given warm water therapy. Theconclusion of this research that there is the differences in blood pressure before and after beinggiven the warm water therapy in patient (ρ=0,000). Abstract

Maternal mortality rate in Indonesia is still high and is a major concern for health development in Indonesia. Preeclampsia is a cause of maternal and perinatalmortality is high, especially in developing countries like Indonesia. Past medicalhistory is a factor of preeclampsia. Existing conditions can include diabetes mellitus, heart disease and hypertension. Hospital Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo is the biggestreferral hospital in Banyumas regency, the data obtained the incidence ofpreeclampsia in the year 2011 as many as 374 cases (16.12%), in 2012 as many as551 cases (16.59%) and increased in the year 2013 as many as 555 cases (16.46%).The aim of research to determine the relationship between a history of hypertensionwith preeclampsia in women giving birth in hospitals Prof. Dr. Margono SoekarjoPurwokerto. This research is descriptive correlation with retrospective approach, thepopulation of all women giving birth in hospitals Prof.Dr.Margono SoekarjoPurwokerto as many as 3371 women giving birth, the sampling technique ispurposive sampling with 97 women who develop preeclampsia. The type of datausing secondary data and instrument used master tables as well as data analysisusing Chi-square. The result showed the majority of respondents do not have ahistory of hypertension as much as 54 respondents (55.7%), mostly experiencedpreeclampsia of 50 respondents (51.5%). There is a relationship between a history ofhypertensive disease with an incidence of preeclampsia in maternal (þ-value (0.005)<α (0.05). Abstract

One of hemodialisa complication is the increase of blood pressure. Some of research show that music therapy can decrease blood pressure. The purpose is to know the influence of music therapy to thedecrease of blood pressure in post hemodialisa patients. Research design is quasy eksperiment designnon equivalent control group. Sampling technique is purposive sampling. The sample of the researchwere 20 respondents (as control group, and experiment group). The data taken measurement of bloodpressure before and after music therapy. The analysis used are difference test and logistic regression. The results show that there is difference sistolik of blood pressure on the experiment group and thereisn’t difference on the control group ((p = 0,001 < 0,05) , (p = 0,180 > 0,05)), there isn’t differencediastolik of blood pressure on the experiment group and there isn’t difference on the control group ((p =0,343 > 0,05), (p = infinite)), there isn’t difference sistolik of blood pressure before and after betwe enexperiment group with control group (p = 0,175 > 0,05), (p = 0,055), there isn’t difference diastolik ofblood pressure before and after between experiment group with control group ((p = 0,231 > 0,05), (p =0,299 > 0,05)), there is relationship sistolik of blood pressure on hemodialisa patients, how manyinfluence can’t presumably because OR can’t uncountable (p = 0,000, OR uncountable). The result ofthis research shows there is not the influence of music therapy to the decrease of blood pressure in posthemodialisa patients. Keywords: Music therapy, blood pressure
