Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman jenis serangga nokturnal Kebun Botani FKIP Unsri Inderalaya Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei. Metode survei adalah metode yang dipakai untuk memperoleh fakta-fakta dari gejala gejala yang ada dan mencari keterangan keterangan secara faktual. Proses pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada tiap lokasi sampling dengan menggunakan perangkap serangga yang telah dimodifikasi (Pitfall bait trap + barrier dan Light trap + barrier). Analisis terhadap indeks keanekaragaman menggunakan indeks Shannon-Winner (H’). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa keanekaragaman serangga nokturnal di Kebun Botani FKIP UNSRI Kecamatan Inderalaya Utara berada dalam kategori sedang yaitu sebesar 2,9895. Hal ini menandakan bahwa lingkungan kebun botani merupakan lingkungan yang menunjang bagi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan populasi serangga. Serangga yang ditemukan di lokasi penelitian sebanyak  9 Ordo yang terdiri dari 20 famili dan 32 spesies serangga. Penelitian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan informasi kepada mahasiswa program studi pendidikan biologi FKIP Unsri mengenai keanekaragaman jenis serangga nokturnal di kebun botani FKIP Unsri Inderalaya Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Selain itu dapat digunakan sebagai sumbangan dalam bentuk bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran biologi di SMA kelas X semester II pada kompetensi dasar 3.4. Mendeskripsikan ciri-ciri filum dalam dunia hewan dan peranannya bagi kehidupan.   Kata Kunci: Keanekaragaman Jenis, Serangga Nokturnal, Kebun Botani, FKIP Unsri dan Biologi SMA

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The research to obtain information on the effect of the application of guided inquiry learning model for the study of students that science process skills and mastery of concepts in the biology subject matter respiratory system XI MIA 1 SMA N 1 Indralaya. The method used is Pre-Experimental Design with design One-group pretest posttest design. Data is collected in class XI MIA 1 with total Students 27 people. Based on the analysis to increase KPS obtained average value of the written test in the form of preliminary tests and final tests are 63.1 and 94. Aspects of the highest KPS written test results and observations are observing aspects. Lowest KPS aspect based written tests hypothesize that aspect while the lowest aspect based on the observation that communication aspects. Based on statistical test t-test data mastery of concepts students from preliminary tests and final test obtained t count> t table is 16 > 1.706. This shows that the application of guided inquiry learning model affects the learning outcomes of students of class XI MIA 1 SMA N 1 Indralaya. Abstract

  Abstract: This research aimed to know the potential of ethanol extract of roselle fruits in improving the quantity and quality of sperm in mice induced nicotine. The method is implemented with the experimental method that uses a completely randomized design 30 male mice. This study consists of five treatments and six replications. Treatment for the provision of nicotine with a dose of 0,07mg / 10 g body weight and roselle fruit ethanol extract at a dose consisting of 0 mg / 10 g BB, 3 mg / 10 g BB, 6 mg / 10 g BB, and 9 mg / 10 g BB. Roselle fruit extract given by gavage and nicotine via subcutaneous injection for 35 days. Parameters measured were the number, viability, normal morphology, motility, and sperm plasma membrane integrity. The data were analyzed by analysis of variance and real distance difference test (BJND). The average number of sperm in mice P1, P2, P3, and P4 is 103.17 x 106 / ml, 153 x 106 / ml, 157 x 106 / ml, 146 x 106 / ml. The percentage of sperm viability in mice P1, P2, P3, and P4 is 47%, 60.67%, 70%, 68.67%. The percentage of normal sperm morphology P1, P2, P3, and P4 is 42.5%, 59.5%, 73.67%, 62.83%. The percentage of sperm motility in mice P1, P2, P3, and P4 is 41.3%, 61%, 63.7%, 59%. The percentage of plasma membrane integrity mice P1, P2, P3, and P4 is 42.4%, 70.4%, 71%, 62.9%. The results showed that ethanol extract of roselle fruits at a dose of 3 mg / 10 g BB maximal increase the number, the percentage of normal morphology, the percentage motility, sperm plasma membrane integrity mice and 6 mg / 10 g BB increased the percentage of sperm viability nicotine-induced mice. Results of this study are expected to be additional material on learning Biology Semester II Class X Basic Competencies 3.3 Describe the characteristics Divisio and its Role in the World of Plants for Survival on Earth. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis pendekatan saintifik telah dilakukan untuk materi sistem gerak manusia mata pelajaran Biologi kelas XI SMA. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk LKPD yang valid dan praktis. Metode yang dilakukan adalah metode Development Research (DR) yang mengacu pada model pengembangan Akker (1999). Langkah penelitian dan pengembangan terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu tahap analisis, tahap perancangan dan tahap evaluasi. Tahap evaluasi dibagi menjadi tiga tahap yaitu self evaluation, expert review, one to one dan small group. Penelitian pengembangan ini dibatasi hingga tahap small group. Validasi LKPD dilakukan melalui tahap expert review (ahli isi, ahli penyajian, ahli pendekatan saintifik dan ahli bahasa). Berdasarkan expert review didapat hasil nilai rata-rata yaitu 4,46 yang menunjukkan bahwa LKPD sangat valid. Kepraktisan LKPD dapat diketahui melalui hasil analisis angket peserta didik pada uji coba one to one dan small group. Nilai rata-rata hasil angket kepraktisan pada tahap one to one adalah 3,64 dan tahap small group adalah 4,53 yang menunjukkan bahwa LKPD termasuk kategori praktis dan sangat praktis. Hasil analisis uji validasi ahli dan analisis angket peserta didik menunjukkan bahwa LKPD yang dihasilkan sangat valid dan sangat praktis.   Kata Kunci : LKPD, pendekatan saintifik, sistem gerak

Abstract

Abstrak : Telah dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman jenis serangga di Perkebunan Minanga Ogan Kabupaten OKU. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif. Metode deskriptif bertujuan untuk membuat deskripsi secara sistematis, faktual, dan akurat mengenai faktor-faktor, sifat dan hubungan antara penomena yang diselidiki. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan tangkap tangan (hand picking). Hasil penelitian ditemukan sebanyak  8  jenis serangga seperti Metisa plana, Mahasena corbetti, Setora nintens, Birthosea bisura, Setothosea asigna, Dasychira inclusa, Sycanus leucomesus, Eochantecona furcellata yang di kelompokkan dalam 2 Ordo yaitu yaitu Lepidoptera dan Hemiptera dan 5 famili yaitu Pshychidae, Limacodidae, Limantriidae, Reduviidae, Pentatomidae. Indeks keanekaragaman jenis 1,688 dalam kategori sedang dengan kemerataan 0,89 dan indeks dominansi 1. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat disumbangkan sebagai bahan ajar pada pembelajaran Biologi SMA kelas X semester II.   Kata Kunci: Serangga, Perkebunan Minanga Ogan, Indeks keanekaragaman jenis.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Research about the development of Science Process Skills (SPS) has been carried out as SPS measuring instrument study materials in Biology subject at 11th grade of senior high school. The study is aimed to produce a valid and practical test instrument of SPS. The method used in this research is Development Research (DR) method which refers to the instrument development model from Djaali and Mulyono (2008). The steps of the research and development consist of several phases: synthesis theory and requirements analysis, design stage (variable construction, development of indicators, the preparation of the lattice matter, writing of instruments, scoring) and the evaluation phase. Evaluation phase is divided into three: validity test, reliability test and analysis of grain items. The analysis of grain items is done by analyzing the degrees of difficulty, different power and distracters function. The validation of Science Process Skills (SPS) is done in three stages, namely validation theoretical (content experts, constructs experts and linguists) and empirical validation (test participants' answers). Based on the theoretical validation of the results obtained an average value of 4.2 which indicates that the questions of SPS is valid. Practicality of SPS can be detected through the result analysis of the test participants questionnaires in the trial test. The average of the questionnaire practicality while testing is 3.64 which indicate that the question of SPS is a practical category. The results of the analysis from the expert validation test and learner questionnaire showed the SPS that produced is valid and practical.
