Abstract

ABSTRAK Penurunan kualitas udara pada bumi terus menurun. Ini disebabkan oleh polusi udara semakin lama semakin meningkat. Peningkatan jumlah kendaraan juga menjadi salah satu penyebab menurunnya kualitas udara. Penegakan aturan yang ketat dalam pengendalian pencemaran pada emisi gas buang semakin diperketat. Oleh itu diperlukan suatu bahan bakar kendaraan yang dapat mengurangkan emisi gas buang pada kendaraan. Pada saat sekarang ini pencarian bahan bakar ramah lingkungan difokuskan dengan menggunakan aditif berbahan dasar alami. Dengan demikian perlu diteliti penambahan aditif ditambahkan ke minyak solar, dengan tujuan untuk mengurangi emisi gas buang. Sebuah mesin diesel satu silinder telah digunakan yang digabungkan gas analyzer Bosc tipe BEA 150 / 250 / 350. Oksigenat berbahan dasar nabati digunakan sebagai aditif dalam bahan bakar diesel dengan campuran 1% - 5% volume. Tes emisi gas buang dilakukan pada kecepatan antara 900 - 1.700 rpm dan kondisi beban penuh. Percobaan dilakukan untuk mendapatkan parameter emisi gas buang. Hasil percobaan menunjukkan bahwa penambahan aditif oksigenat sebanyak 1 % bisa menurunkan jelaga 30%, meningkatkan CO2 sebanyak 5%, menurunkan CO 35% dan peningkatan NOx sebanyak 9% dibanding solar murni. Kata Kunci : Mesin diesel, Oksigenat, Emisi Gas Buang ABSTRACT Decline in air quality on earth continues to occur. One of its causes is air pollution which is the mistake of vehicle exhaust emissions. Strict enforcement of pollution control on exhaust emissions is one way to control exhaust emissions. It is therefore necessary to fuel a vehicle that can reduce exhaust emissions on vehicles. At the present time this environmentally friendly fuel search is focused using natural based additives. Thus it is necessary to examine the addition of additives added to the diesel oil, with the aim of reducing exhaust emissions. A single-cylinder diesel engine has been used which incorporates a BEA 150/250/350 Bosc gas analyzer. Vegetable oxygenates are used as additives in diesel fuel with a mixture of 1% - 5% by volume. The exhaust emission test is carried out at speeds between 900 - 1,700 rpm and full load conditions. The experiment was conducted to obtain the parameters of exhaust emissions. The experimental results show that the addition of 1% oxygenate additive can decrease carbon 30%, increase CO2 by 5%, decrease CO 35% and increase NOx by 9% compared to pure diesel. Keyword : Diesel Engine, Oxygenat, Emmision Engine

Abstract

The aims of this research is to study and analysis on furnace walls with variation of hot face lining material types, variation of refractory material types, and variation of thickness of insulating materials to outer wall temperature at furnace with working temperature 1000 oC. This research uses a variety of hot face lining material in the form of ceramic fiber blanket with CR1260, CR1400, and CR1430, variations of refractory material in the form of refractory brick with the type NJM-20, NJM-23, and NJM-26, and using ROCKWOOL as an insulating material with a thickness variation of 50 mm, 75 mm, 100 mm. This research was simulated using Steady State Thermal ANSYS Mechanical (ANSYS Multiphysic) software. The result of the research shows the difference of the outer wall temperature value of the furnace. The highest wall temperature is in interaction with the wall without insulation, hot face lining material using CR1260, and NJM-26 as refractory material is 75.211 oC. While the lowest wall temperature is in the interaction of 100 mm thick insulation, hot face lining material using CR1430, NJM-20 as refractory material is  46.682 oC.

Abstract

The process of designing a pyrolysis reactor vessel with an electric heating system is intended to design a pyrolysis reactor vessel functioned as a heating chamber for pyrolysis test materials to convert biomass into energy. The vertically-designed torspherical vessel consists of a torispherical shell and head, with a temperature control system designed using a PID control temperature device as its main controller and uses SSR as a voltage controller actuator and uses thermocouple as its temperature sensor and on its heating system using electric heating element. obtained from the test results is the heating rate obtained is 0.25³C / sec with the maximum temperature obtained 480˚C within 30 minutes and the cost required for a single process of Rp 5,500,

Abstract

The comfort of classroom have a big impact to the studying activity or other activity inside the classroom, that is why   an air conditioning system should be planned while taking a lot of factors such as from inside and outside thr room into account, based on the calculation that has been done, it was found that the ventilated air that’s needed in the classroom is 4,1295 L/S, sensibel ventilation heat load for 25 persons of 2035 W, heat load generated for the north wall 80,64 W, east of 145,15 and west of 112,857 W. indoor heat load of 2649,87 W and outdoor heat load of1957,529 W. so the total capacity of the air conditioning  is 4607 W

Abstract

The increasing competition in the selling price of the vehicle makes the OEM lot of cost reduction programs to obtain competitive prices. The OEM's main program is to provide handling of product design to production to suppliers. One of its products is the slide adjuster of truck seats. The difficulties encountered by local suppliers are complex design, lack of product knowledge and new players. In an effort to answer the challenge, the supplier uses TRIZ method to create the design concept. The results of the design concepts obtained can provide price reductions due to the results of function analysis can be done component reduction. The decision is based on the result of different component functions and patent study. For structural strength of the slide adjuster verification with CAE with maximal 357.4 MPa stopper strength in bracket lock. Rattle slide obtained maximum 2.775 mm y direction. Slide load obtained 82.5 N. TRIZ method can effectively be used to design slide truck seat adjuster products.

Abstract

The type of electrode used in the SMAW process has many types, such as E 6010, E 6011, E 6012, E 6013, E 6020, E6027. In this case the type E 6013 is the most widely used. Certainly the type E 6013 is produced by different manufacturers as well. From penelurusan researchers of this type have different prices in accordance with companies that sell it. For that reason researchers are interested to compare the three manufacturing outputs for the type E 6013 in terms of its mechanical properties. Making a specimen welding electrode cut material to be used. then sandpaper the material that has been cut so that no remaining pieces are still attached. The next step to do the welding process with three types of E6013 elekroda. The welding is carried out until it reaches the layer layer 10 mm thickness, then the bottom plate is discarded and the weld deposit deposits only The impact strength and surface hardness value are inversely proportional. For the impact test, the E1 electrode sample specimen has the highest impact strength value and the E3 electrode sample specimen has the lowest impact strength value. While on the hardness test specimen E3 electrode sample has the highest hardness value and sample specimen E1 electrode has the lowest hardness value. This can prove that the harder the object is the more brittle the object.
