Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning activities of students in social studies learning by applying role-playing models assisted by flannel board media in class IV-C SDN-1 Sabaru Palangkaraya 2016/2017 Academic Year, as well as improving student learning outcomes in social studies learning by applying role models playing aided by flannel board media in class IV-C SDN-1 Sabaru Palangkaraya Academic Year 2016/2017. The type of research used by researchers is Classroom Action Research (CAR), with the research subjects all IV-C class students of SDN-1 Sabaru Palangkaraya totalling 26 students. Data collection techniques in this study used tests and observations. Data analysis using qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of this study indicate that the activity of social studies learning students of class IV-C of SDN-1 Sabaru Palangkaraya increased by an average of 3.43 which included good criteria, learning outcomes of students of class IV-C of SDN-1 Sabaru Palangkaraya increased from the pretest results the average value of 62.11 with classical completeness was 46.15%, while the post-test results in the first cycle averaged 76.53 with 100% classical completeness.

Abstract

This study aims to describe learning activities and improve Narrative Essay Writing Skills by using a direct learning model assisted by following image media of IV-B class students at SDN 5 Panarung. The type of this research is PTK research with the subject of all class IV-B students at SDN 5 Panarung, amounting to 24 people. Data collection techniques in this study used tests and observations. Data analysis used qualitative data and quantitative data. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the activity of students increases during the learning process of Indonesian language by using a direct learning model assisted by media drawing series with an average of 3.7 in perfect criteria. (2) The narrative essay writing skill increases this can be seen from the initial test with an average of 67.0 with classical completeness of 33.33%, the cycle I with an average of 72.16 with the artistic integrity of 87.5%. This shows that learning can be said to be successful and exceeds classical completeness which is 85%.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the science learning activities of fourth grade students of SDN 5 Panarung by applying the articulation model assisted by visual media and improving the learning outcomes of science students of fourth grade SDN 5 Panarung by applying an articulation model supported by visual media on the material impact of natural materials on environmental conservation in the fourth grade of SDN 5 Panarung Palangkaraya. The type in this study was to use the kind of Classroom Action Research (CAR). As for the subjects of this study were the fourth grade students of SDN 5 Panarung which numbered 27 students. The instrument used in this study was in the form of observation sheets and test questions in the way of multiple choice learning outcomes. The data analysis technique used is qualitative and quantitative. From the results of the study concluded that: (1) Learning activities of students appear active in learning science in the application of articulation models assisted by visual media. Students play an active role during the learning process in cycle I. The results of observations of student activities are 3.52 with very busy criteria, and (2) There is an increase in student learning outcomes after the application of articulation models assisted by visual media. This is indicated by the learning outcomes seen through the class average score in the first cycle, which is 79 with the criteria achieved and fulfilling the KKM 70, reaching the percentage of students' classical mastery learning, namely 100%, with 85% artistic completeness.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the activities of fifth-grade students of SDN Telangkah-1 in learning the Indonesian language by using role-playing models assisted by comic media as well as improving Indonesian language learning outcomes of fifth-grade students of SDN-1 Telangkah by using role-playing models supported by humorous media participants fifth-grade students of SDN-1 Telangkah. The method used by the researcher was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with research subjects 31 students consisting of 12 men and 19 female class V SDN-1 Telangkah. Data collection techniques in this study used observation and tests. Data analysis uses qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of this study indicate that the activities of fifth-grade students of SDN-1 Telangkah at the time of learning took place by using a role-playing model assisted by comic media on Indonesian language subjects about material Playing the Drama in the first cycle was in an outstanding category. Also, there was an increase in the results of learning the Indonesian Language by applying the role-playing model assisted by comic media to the fifth-grade students of SDN-1 Telangkah. This can be seen from the learning outcomes data of students, in the pre-test, the average score of 61 with classical completeness was 45.16%, while the post-test results in the first cycle the average rating of 78 and integrity in the traditional, i.e. 100%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning activities of Mathematics by using the Explicit Instruction Model and Course Review Horay model assisted by manipulative media and improving Mathematics learning outcomes using the Explicit Instruction model and Course Review Horay with the help of the manipulative press. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). The subjects of this study were 27 students of class V B, consisting of 15 men and 12 women. Data collection techniques in this study used tests and observations. Data analysis used qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results showed that the learning activities of students using the Explicit Instruction and Course Review Horay models assisted manipulative media in students increased, the average value of the first cycle was 2.87 with poor criteria and the second cycle the average cost was 3.32 with suitable measures. Also, there is an increase in Mathematics learning outcomes using the Explicit Instruction model and the Course Review Horay assisted by manipulative media in class students. The average pre-test value is 44 with classical completeness of 25%, the cycle I average cost 63 with artistic integrity 51.85%, and in cycle II the average cost is 79 with artistic integrity 92.59%

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning activities of students in learning Indonesian Language using inquiry methods with concrete media on class II-A students at Panarung Palangkaraya 5 Elementary School in the 2016/2017 academic year, and improve learning outcomes in Indonesian using inquiry methods with real press on the second grade students of SDN 5 Panarung Palangkaraya 2016/2017 academic year. This type of research is Class Action Research. The research subjects were class II-A students at SDN 5 Palangkaraya, totalling 29 students consisting of 19 male students and ten female students. Data collection techniques in this study used tests and observations. Data analysis uses qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results showed that Indonesian language learning activities of class II-A students at Panarung SDN-5 Palangkaraya. The average score obtained by students in the first cycle is 3.56 and the average rating in the second cycle is 3.57 with perfect criteria. There is an increase in Indonesian language learning outcomes of class II-A students at Panarung Palangkaraya SDN-5 with the application of inquiry methods with real media. The initial test of the average value of students obtained was 69.96, and classical completeness was 44.82%. The average cost after the application of the inquiry method with real media increased in the first cycle of 79.96, and artistic integrity was 82.75%, and more increased in the second cycle with an average value of 87.86 and 100% classical completeness.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning activities of students using the Campus Bowling learning strategy. To improve science learning outcomes using the Campus Bowling learning strategy. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which has tried to solve or answer the problems faced in the current situation. The subjects in this study were 36 fourth grade students of Palangka Elementary School 3 in the Academic Year 2016, consisting of 24 male students and 11 female students. The qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques used are observation and tests. Data analysis uses the calculation of the average value and percentage of students' mastery of learning in classical. The results of the study concluded that the learning activities of students increased after going through the Campus Bowling learning strategy, namely in the first cycle with an average of 2.78 (quite good) and in the second cycle namely 3.42 (reasonable). There is also an increase in student learning outcomes after going through the Campus Bowling learning strategy, namely in the first cycle with an average of 54 with classical completeness of 45% (less achieved) and in the second cycle with a percentage of 73 with artistic integrity 100% (excellent).

Abstract

This study aims to describe the increase in the reading of students taught by using the KWL (Know-Want-to-Know-Learned) learning strategy assisted with pictorial story media, as well as knowing the reading activities of students who are trained using the KWL learning strategy Learned) aided by a picture story media. This type of research is Class Action Research (CAR). The subjects in this study were class III SDN-3 Langkai Palangka Raya students totalling 20 students and students. This data collection technique is observation and testing. Data analysis techniques are based on the results of the cycle during the learning process. The results showed that the use of the Know-Want-to-Know-Learn (KWL) learning strategy assisted with pictorial story media could improve reading skills in Grade III SDN-3 Langkai Palangka Raya students. This is based on the results of the study with the acquisition of values in the learning activities that have been carried out for two cycles. It can be concluded that: The use of Know-Want to Know-Learned learning media assisted with pictorial stories can improve students' reading skills. , this can be seen from the pre-action average = 58 average with classical completeness 50% first cycle = 72 average with 75% artistic completeness and cycle II = 93 average with 100% traditional instruction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui aktivitas peserta didik dalam pembelajaran bahasa indonesia dengan menggunakan metode writing workshop. (2) mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan menulis karangan dalam mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia dengan menggunakan metode writing workshop pada peserta didik kelas IV SDN-2 Petuk Bukit.Penelitian ini dilakukan pada minggu ke-1 sampai dengan minggu ke-3 bulan juni 2016 yang berlokasi di SDN-2 Petuk Bukit, Jl Tumbang Talaken KM 86 Kecamatan Rakumpit Kota Palangka Raya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan subjek penelitian seluruh peserta didik kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 2 Petuk Bukit yang berjumlah 6 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes dan observasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode writing workshop: (1) aktivitas pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia dengan menggunakan metode writing wokshop pada peserta didik kelas IV SDN-2 Petuk Bukit tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 lebih aktif dengan nilai rata-rata aktivitas peserta didik siklus I yaitu 2,8 (cukup) dan nilai rata-rata aktivitas peserta didik siklus 2 yaitu 3,8 (baik). (2) ada peningkatan hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran writing workshop pada peserta didik kelas IV SDN-2 Petuk Bukit tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Pada data awal nilai rata-rata peserta didik 59.16, ketuntasan peserta didik hanya memperoleh 33%. Pada siklus I nilai rata-rata 65, ketuntasan klasikal belajar peserta didik 67%. Sedangkan pada siklus II nilai rata-rata peserta didik memperoleh nilai 77.5, ketuntasan klasikal 100%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini, bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Aktivitas peserta didik terhadap penggunaan kombinasi media diorama dan media gambar dalam pembelajara IPA (2) Untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar IPA setelah menggunakan kombinasi media diorama dan media gambar. Metode yang digunakan penelitian adalah menggunakan rancangan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang berusaha memecahkan atau menjawab masalah yang dihadapi pada saat situasi sekarang. Teknik Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes dan observasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan rumus persentase ketuntasan klasikal individual. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1). Peserta didik lebih aktif dan menyenangkan pada saat pembelajaran IPA dengan menggunakan kombinasi media diorama dan media gambar. Pada Siklus I, aktivitas peserta didik memperoleh skor rata-rata 2,71 dengan kriteria cukup. Pada Siklus II, skor rata-rata aktivitas yang diperoleh peserta didik adalah 3,78dengan criteria baik. (2). Ada peningkatan hasil belajar IPA peserta didik pada saat pembelajaran IPA dengan menggunakan kombinasi media diorama dan media gambar. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil belajar peserta didik sebelum dilaksanakannya penelitian tindakan kelas dan sesudah dilaksakannya penelitian tindakan kelas. Pada tes awal, hasil belajar peserta didik memperoleh nilai rata-rata 59,52 (dibawah nilai KKM  65) dengan ketuntasan klasikal 28,57% dengan kriteria sangat tidak tercapai. Pada Siklus I hasil belajar peserta didik memperoleh nilai rata-rata 64,76 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 42,86% dengan kriteria kurang tercapai. Siklus II hasil belajar peserta didik memperoleh nilai rata-rata 88,57 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 100% dengan kriteria sangat tercapai.
