Abstract

The purpose of this study are to get  liquid photovoltaic cell made using a simple material and test their capability. The photovoltaic cell is made by using a CuO / Mirror electrode pair then electric current that resulted was tested under sunlight in a NaCl solution. From the electric current data can be concluded that CuO / mirror pair electrodes can be used in liquid photovoltaic cells, but the CuO / mirror pair is less stable. Abstract

Central Kalimantan Province especially Murung Raya is an area with abundant natural resources, require transportation facilities and infrastructure, especially more emphasized in the field of land transportation. In this case, it is necessary to evaluate the tariff and quality of transportation service between provinces to know the conformity of current tariff and the quality of transportation service. Data collection was conducted through surveys and interviews conducted in Puruk Cahu. The purpose of this research is to know the amount of Vehicle Operation Cost of public transportation from Puruk Cahu to Banjarmasin so that the amount of passenger tariff that match with Vehicle Operating Cost is incurred and also know the quality of service from transportation service provider side. Based on the result of Vehicle Operation Cost Analysis (VOC) of Puruk Cahu Public Transportation to Banjarmasin, the basic cost per day is Rp 991.384.08, -/ transportation/ day, the basic rate every  person is Rp 165,230.68, - / person / trip , the basic tariff of public transport is Rp 181,753.75, - / person / trip, so with the applicable tariff of Rp 250,000 / person providing a reasonable income for the transportation service provider and for the passengers is reasonable. Keywords :  Vehicle Operational Cost (VOC), evaluation, tariff

Abstract

Scholarship is an award of financial aid for a student to further their education where it usually provided by goverment or any private institution. One of the problems that arise in distribution of scholarship is how to select student who is really approriate to get scholarship. Abstract

Aluminum rongsok (scrap) is widely produced from households, IKM, offices, factories and so on in South Kalimantan. Along this time Al rongsok only collected by the collectors and then sold to the company smelting (in Java). Al rongsok can be recycled and used as a cast product, so potentially produce components, one of which is Pelton turbine bucket. This research aims to; (1) to create a prototype Pelton water-type bucket turbine using styrofoam pattern (2) to know the micro structure, hardness, tensile strength, and impact strength. The furnace for smelting uses a krasibel type furnace with charcoal wood fuel. Material for casting used Al alloy (scrap). The evaporative casting method is to use styrofoam as a molding pattern that is dumped in the printed sand. This method will produce castings that match the pattern / model formed. Melting is done by melting the Al in the kitchen krusibel then poured on the variation of casting temperature 650, 670, 690 and 710 oC. The casting results are then tested for mechanical properties (micro structure, hardness, tensile strength, and impact strength). The test results concluded, Al alloy (scrap) can be utilized and developed as prototype of cross flow water turbine blade / bucket using evaporative casting method. the higher the temperture of the hypereutectic Si structure is present between the dendrite Al of thin short flakes into thick, long bits. At temperatures above 650 oC, the value of hardness decreases with the increase of pouring temperature, while tensile stress decreases with increasing of pouring temperature. Impetus has been declining as the pouring temperature increases.Keywords: Evaporative casting, Al (Scrap), physical-mechanical properties, Pelton turbine bucket

Abstract

The long-term goal of this research is to improve the research performance of Research Institute and Pegabdian to the Society of Islamic University of Borneo Muhammad Arsyad Al-Banjari specifically to the Institutional Information System which must be improved from time to time continuously following developments especially in the submission of program proposals by the Directorate Research and Community Service (DRPM) Directorate General of Research and Development Strengthening. Target to be achieved is to make an application that can map data result of research performance of lecturer of UNISKA MAB Banjarmasin using Waterfall method also documentation of system development become very organized, where every step must be completed perfectly before stepping to next stage. It is expected that with this method the Information System made will be good and in accordance with the objectives of the study so that there is no repetition in the title proposal and implementers in accordance with the requirements that have been determined and support in the completeness of Lecturer such as for Lecturer Workload, Employee Work Objectives, easier lecturer certification accessed in existing data retrieval. Abstract

The internet has changed the life style of people and also the way people to communicate. After the existence of the internet, people can buy products from his home or office. Prior to the internet, people get information about a product through written advertising, but now the information can be quickly obtained or disseminated by the presence of second-generation internet, or Web 2.0 Customers can exchange information and influence each otherin product selection. This could happen through social media. Because the huge number of the social media users make companies use this medium, not only to inform but also to sell. Not all entrepreneurs succeed in this online business, but many also fail. This study proposes model developed by the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA) to determine the factors that could affect the purchase intention online through Social Media Marketing. The data obtained from this study is 748, which is obtained through a question naire distributed at public universities and private individual in three cities in Indonesia (Surabaya, Malang and Banjarmasin). Confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to test the construct validity and reliability for each variable. By using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) showed that the most influential factor on purchase intention is perceived use fulness, while subjective normin fluenced the purchase intention but had no effect on perceived usefulness. Keywords:  social media marketing, structural equation modeling, technology acceptance models, theory of reasoned action

Abstract

At PDAM Bandarmasih of Banjarmasin city, the laboratory division of data management system and report still use simple application. It is considered less effective and efficient in supporting the work productivity of employees in it, so it will take a little time in the process of data management laboratory, search data and provide information. From these problems raised the proposal to create a web-based application, in which it can perform the management of laboratory data. The methodology used in making this application is the programming language is PHP. for display using CSS and Jquery. Database using MySQL. Tools and Editor used are Xammp and Notepad ++. Supported by the availability of local internet network (intranet) in PDAM Bandarmasih Banjarmasin. Abstract

Water is a source of energy that cheap an relatively were easily obtained, because the water is potential energy (on watel falling in) and their kinetic energy on running water. This energy could be converted into a source of energy that can produce electricity. The purpose of this research is to design form prototype of waterwheel based on the speed of water flow obtained from a barabai river in Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Selatan Province of South Kalimantan. The methodology used in research is quantitative methods and experimental methods. The research known the speed of water flow in Barabai river is 1 m/s, discharge of water is 0,00204 m3/s and water power is 1.020 Watt. While from the prototype waterwheel obtained the waterwheel round by 181 rpm, torque of waterwheel is 0,0088 Nm and the power of waterwheel is 167 Watt. From the result of research can inconclusive if the waterwheel scale inlarged, so the power of waterwheel will be increase.Keyword : The Prototype of WaterWhell, Round of Shaft, The Power of Waterwheel

Abstract

In some forms, energy is the basic input to life. Energy is equally important to improve the quality of life. Energy conservation can help reduce the demand for energy globally and indirectly improve the environment by reducing the use of fossil fuels. Pumps in drinking water companies are used for processing and distributing water to consumers. Abstract

The research aims to get the description of the characteristics of two-wheeled parking at the Islamic University of  Kalimantan Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjari (UNISKA MAB) Banjarmasin. For the long term get the arrangement of two-wheeled motor vehicle with a secure parking management and comfortable. The planned stages of the activity start from the problem, collecting secondary data to support the solution of the problem, conducting a study of literature studies that regulate parking, conducting field survey to get the primary data how many actual vehicle (SRP /unit parking area) so with the parking area limited can be given a solution and become a description of the characteristics of two-wheeled car park at UNISKA MAB Banjarmasin in the year of research 2017. Keywords: Motorcycle, SRP and Parking Space
